The start of the political week is dominated by a summit of EU leaders in Paris, convened by the French President, focusing on continental security, including the situation in Ukraine. The following day, the government will address the assumptions of foreign policy, which will form the basis for the Foreign Minister's so-called expose.

This week also features a two-day session of the Sejm, with plans to consider a motion to dismiss Minister Katarzyna Kotula, as well as an attempt to elect Constitutional Tribunal judges – likely to be unsuccessful, as only the PiS parliamentary club has nominated candidates.

Over the weekend, the Head of the President's Chancellery, Małgorzata Paprocka, announced that a special US envoy for Ukraine and Russia, General Keith Kellogg, will visit Warsaw next week – though the exact date remains unclear.

Tusk Meets Microsoft Vice President. On Monday morning, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with the President and Vice President of Microsoft Corporation, Brad Smith, at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The agenda includes delegation talks and a press statement.

Paris Summit. On Monday, President Emmanuel Macron will meet with European leaders to discuss continental security issues. Prime Minister Donald Tusk is scheduled to represent Poland. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will also be present at the Paris summit.

Speakers in Brussels. On Monday, Speakers Szymon Hołownia and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will travel to Brussels for talks with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola. They will also participate in discussions regarding EU priorities, among other topics.

Government on Foreign Policy. At its Tuesday session, the Council of Ministers will adopt the Assumptions of Polish Foreign Policy for 2025, which will serve as the basis for the Foreign Minister's expose. Ministers will also discuss a draft amendment to the Act on the Council of Ministers.

Head of CBA Before Committee. On Tuesday, the Pegasus Investigative Committee is scheduled to hear from the Head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA), Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak. The session will be partially closed to the media. The committee also has other hearings planned for the upcoming week.

Sejm on Nawrocki's Immunity. On Wednesday, the Sejm's Committee on Regulations, MP Affairs, and Immunities will consider a motion from private prosecutors to authorize criminal proceedings against the President of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), Karol Nawrocki. Subsequently – though the date is not yet known – the Sejm must make a decision on this matter in a plenary session.

Committee on Ziobro's Arrest Request. On Thursday, the Committee on Regulations will consider a request for the Sejm to grant consent for the arrest of MP Zbigniew Ziobro to ensure his appearance at a session of a Sejm investigative committee.

Committee on Kaczyński and Romanowski. The same Sejm committee will address a request from the Head of Investigative Team No. 2 of the National Prosecutor's Office on Thursday, seeking consent for criminal proceedings, arrest, and temporary detention of MP Marcin Romanowski. On Friday, the committee will consider a private prosecutor's motion to authorize criminal proceedings against MP Jarosław Kaczyński.

Sejm on Kotula's Dismissal. On Thursday, during a two-day session, MPs will likely consider a motion filed by PiS to express no confidence in Minister for Equality, Katarzyna Kotula.

Sejm on Election of Constitutional Tribunal Judges. The Sejm will also attempt to elect Constitutional Tribunal judges – an effort that is almost certainly doomed to fail, as only the PiS parliamentary club has nominated two candidates: MP Marek Ast and Artur Kotowski.
