On Friday and Saturday, Rafał Trzaskowski will participate in the Munich Security Conference, where US Vice President J.D. Vance will meet with the President of Ukraine. Trzaskowski will meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and EU High Representative Kaja Kallas. Trzaskowski will also attend meetings with the Ministers of Defense of Sweden and Estonia.

On Friday, February 14th, a visit to Poland by the United States Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, is scheduled. He will meet with Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and soldiers at the 33rd Transport Aviation Base in Powidz.

Meanwhile, at 12:15 PM in the Presidential Palace, he will meet with President Andrzej Duda.

At 11:00 AM, MEPs Patryk Jaki and Tobiasz Bocheński will hold a press conference at the PiS headquarters.

– It is a complete waste of public money to inject it into programs that stimulate demand at a time when we can use it much better, by shifting it entirely to the supply side in social housing, and that's what we should do – stated Adrian Zandberg in the program “Sygnały Dnia” on PR1.

– I am not surprised, by the way, that the main advocates of these programs to boost developers and banks are PSL politicians. I understand that the living situation of young people in large and medium-sized cities is completely indifferent to them – he continued.

– Given the subservience I see from the Prime Minister and his team towards big tech, given how the talks between the Polish government and large international corporations look, I would rather expect subservience from the Prime Minister here as well. – We have many problems to catch up on here in Poland when it comes to industry and resilience. This isn't just about the defense industry. Resilience, for example, is the ability to produce medicines in Poland – stated Adrian Zandberg on PR1.

– We need to restart the production of active substances here in Poland and in our region, and we need to do it urgently, because the resilience in crisis situations depends on this, among other things. We need to produce gunpowder in Poland. The fact that after so many years, since the international situation has already destabilized, we don't have normal nitrocellulose production in Poland, and that we are not able to significantly meet our needs for ammunition, these are simply dangerous things – he continued.

– We must get used to the idea that the United States will be turned more towards the Pacific. Even if power changes hands in the United States once again, it will still be the case that these changes at the highest levels of power in the United States will always mean a big question mark regarding which direction the next administration will take regarding transatlantic relations – stated Adrian Zandberg on PR1.

– We would have to trace President Trump's statements. I think it's clear to everyone who attacked whom on February 24, 2022. Russia attacked Ukraine, it's completely obvious. Perhaps the point was that President Trump didn't mention the obvious things – said Mariusz Błaszczak in a conversation with Krzysztof Skowroński on "Poranek Wnet", when asked about Donald Trump not clearly identifying the aggressor in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

– For anyone who has heard anything about this war, it is completely obvious that Russia attacked Ukraine – he continued.

– This causes Poles to feel that, despite working hard, they cannot even dream of getting a loan. And this is a kind of bypass, as long as interest rates remain at the current high level – he indicated.

As he noted: – This is not a systemic solution that will suddenly enable Poles to buy their dream apartment. Nevertheless, it is a kind of compromise formula amidst the entire discussion about the 0% loan. The goal was to avoid artificially inflating prices in the primary, developer market.

– It is important that this is for people buying an apartment for the first time, and there are certain income limits on the secondary market… – he added.

– Yes, it is prepared, because we rebuilt military units that were liquidated during the first term of Tusk’s government. The year 2011 was particularly bad, when Bogdan Klich was the Minister of National Defence […] they liquidated over 600 organizational units of the Polish Army – said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Radio Wnet, when asked if Poland is prepared for the defense of its own territory today.

– Minister Domański has been intimidated by Tusk. Tusk publicly stated that there is no money [for PiS] and there won’t be… Our state budget has been entrusted to a man who lacks character, who is frightened, and who is aware that he is breaking the law, which is why he is bluffing, seeking some interpretations. The court has already issued a verdict in this matter, but he is so afraid of Donald Tusk, I believe he won’t dare to act legally – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Wnet.

– Yes, we have filed it – he continued, when asked if a notification has already been made to the prosecutor’s office regarding the Minister of Finance.

– Google has already invested that sum [of $5 million] because this program has been running for some time in cooperation with the Warsaw School of Economics. I find it hard to believe that this was the sole outcome of the Google CEO's visit to Poland – Ryszard Petru stated on "Gość Radia ZET".

– Every time, I have a problem with the Ministry of Finance, which opposes these kinds of solutions [aimed at combating bureaucracy]. Minister Domański might not even know what's going on. It mainly concerns the KAS [National Revenue Administration], meaning the officials don't want these kinds of changes because we are taking away quite a lot of their power, which makes the taxpayer-official relationship more favorable to the taxpayer – Ryszard Petru said on “Gość Radia ZET” (Guest of Radio ZET).

– This is just an example of how the Prime Minister, in a sense, has created a kind of trap for himself. It is the Prime Minister who should unblock the bureaucracy – he assessed.

– We have two [deregulation] bills, which I have mentioned. Despite the support of the entire chamber, the Ministry of Finance is skeptical. Second point: we have a deregulation bill that was prepared by the Ministry of Economy. It is the Ministry of Finance that does not want this bill to progress further – he pointed out.

In his opinion: – The problem lies with the government. The problem is not with the ideas, the problem is that the bureaucracy is defending itself against these kinds of changes.

[…] We have made a decision in the European Parliament to submit a motion to establish a special inquiry committee on this matter, because we also want to know exactly where, which MPs, who received money under this scandalous program – he added.

– We need 1/4 of the signatures of MEPs. We already have the support of two groups, and now the question is for the MPs of the current coalition: will you sign or not? – he emphasized.

– The United States is the strongest NATO country and the most powerful military superpower in the world. If we look at the state of European armies in the year 2025 and compare it, for example, to 1995 or 1997, all European armies, except for Poland's, are smaller, some even twice as small. And Polish politicians who say we need to focus on Europe now are a bit off the mark, because there's nothing to rely on – said Tobiasz Bocheński at a press conference.

– If we were threatened, we could count on the army of the United States, possibly, primarily on the Polish army, but certainly not on the Belgian, Dutch, or French armies, because they do not have the military capabilities to defend us – he continued.

– Our relationship is strong and is strengthening every day. Poland is a strategic, frontline partner on NATO's eastern flank. Poland is a proven NATO ally. Poland is a model ally, not just in words. – I want to express my satisfaction that directly after meetings in Brussels, at NATO Headquarters, and after visiting American soldiers in the Federal Republic of Germany, the head of the Pentagon came to Poland, also to meet with me, the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, because it was primarily from this perspective that we conducted our conversation – said President Andrzej Duda after his meeting with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
