At 9:30 AM, Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia will participate in a conference titled "European Development. What Development Policy for a Safe, Resilient, and Globally Competitive European Union?" in Krakow. A speech by Hołownia is planned.

At 12:00 PM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will attend an event related to the commencement of the construction of the Baltica 2 Offshore Wind Farm. The Prime Minister's address is scheduled.

PiS-backed presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki is visiting Lublin Voivodeship. The first item on his agenda is a visit to the Agricultural Production Cooperative in Zagroda at 9:00 AM. A press briefing is scheduled for 11:00 AM in Hrubieszów. At 1:00 PM, Nawrocki will visit the Senior Activation Center in Tomaszów Lubelski. Two voter meetings are planned: at 4:30 PM in Biłgoraj and at 7:30 PM in Zamość.

At 10:00 AM, a public hearing concerning the citizen-initiated bill amending the Animal Protection Act (the so-called chain law) will take place in the Column Hall of the Sejm. The meeting will be chaired by Sejm Deputy Marshal Dorota Niedziela, chairwoman of the Extraordinary Committee for Animal Protection.

A press conference by PiS MPs Anna Gembicka, Sebastian Kaleta, and Andrzej Śliwka is scheduled for 10:30 AM.

– I spent the whole day yesterday [with Karol Nawrocki], he has excellent reflexes, he met 2,200 people on his route in the Lublin region, from morning till evening. 1,000 people in Ryki, 700 in Łuków, 350 in Opole Lubelskie. Truly crowds of people, Karol Nawrocki's great reflexes – stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

– I am also not distancing myself from that. Reverend Priest, do not give in to pressure. The chief attacker, the one who attacks the Church, usually as a Catholic, so-called journalist, has already written the text, Mr. Terlikowski. Father Jóźwiak is an excellent priest, he spoke metaphorically to the boxer. This is obvious, what is the problem? – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Zet.

– We are being attacked by people who walked the streets, shouted unbelievable words, fuck, shit, puke. Nobody minded that, Ms. Lempart walked with them, that whole rabble of people. Terlikowski didn't even react to those words. And today we are supposed to explain ourselves because Father Jóźwiak used a metaphor. For God's sake, let's deal with inflation, with fuel costing 7 PLN, with Nowacka calling [us] Polish Nazis – he continued.

– Professor Antoni Dudek, from the suit of a scientist, has become a politician who probably wants to run in the elections, because he behaves like Karol Nawrocki’s rival, and now he’s even pretending to be a journalist. You have to be incredibly brazen and have the audacity of Antoni Dudek to do this kind of thing – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Zet.

– Yes [PiS is preparing for early elections] – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Zet.

– Every party always prepares for early elections – he continued.

– Preparing does not mean certainty of winning. Preparing means being ready for a possibility – he added.

– Karol Nawrocki assured that he hadn't met with anyone from the PiS leadership when he was told the Political Committee presidium was taking place, because he hadn't met anyone. The fact that he meets from time to time, once every few days, with the leader of PiS, the party that supports him, is probably normal during an election campaign. What's the news here? – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Zet.

– Szefernaker and I also saw Karol Nawrocki yesterday. I am a member of the PiS Executive Committee, which is the PiS leadership. If you [referring to the media/journalists], excuse me very much, are going to deal with trivialities instead of the election campaign in Poland, then it's a waste of discussion – he continued.

– Because his [Karol Nawrocki's] predecessor was from outside Gdańsk, in the museum project, he provided for these kinds of apartments, which are located right next to the office of the museum's president or director. It wasn't Karol Nawrocki, but his predecessor who designed these types of official apartments in the museum, which Karol Nawrocki then commercialized – said Adam Bielan in an interview with Renata Grochal on the program “Bez uników” on Trójka.

– If, after so many months of digging through Dr. Nawrocki's biography, the only thing the Platform and its collaborators have found, it shows that he is pure as the driven snow – he continued.

– I think I convinced them [Konfederacja MPs to join a coalition with PiS] long ago, but let that remain between us. I won't say [who specifically I'm talking to]. I talk [to them] almost every day. I send my warm regards to my friends from Konfederacja – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Zet.

– It was clear to everyone present at that meeting that it was a metaphor. Moreover, for full clarity, the priest published a statement on social media the next day that he did not want to offend anyone and that it was a metaphor intended to convey that Karol Nawrocki should respond with a fitting retort to Mr. Dudek – Adam Bielan said on Radio Trójka, when asked about the situation at the meeting with Karol Nawrocki, where the priest spoke of 'delivering a right cross or left hook' to Prof. Dudek.

– I understand that one can make a slip of the tongue in various matters, but rather not when one is reading a text from a card. Besides, in this particular matter, the Minister of Education should speak from memory rather than read from a card, so it is difficult for me to believe the version of a slip of the tongue, especially if someone is reading a text that is written down for them and does not react immediately – said Adam Bielan on Trójka.

– It's no secret that for years, far-right and far-left candidates, when an election campaign comes, try to somehow return to the center. Because they know perfectly well that Polish society is generally center-conservative, not center-progressive. Therefore, it's no surprise that campaign teams, analyzing voter expectations, simply position their candidates according to those expectations – stated Marek Sawicki in the program 'Sygnały Dnia' on PR1.

– I am outraged by [Elon Musk's words concerning Germany], I completely disagree with these words. I am glad that in this regard, Musk is slightly distanced from the central figures, meaning President Trump, President Vance. In the sense that there is that ice queen who ensures that Musk's significant influence, which is probably very good economically, is not that strong in politics, because I completely disagree with these words of Musk to the AfD – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Zet.

– I wish to appeal to Deputy Minister Dorożała and Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska. Let them not concern themselves with hunters, let them focus on the National Reconstruction Plan. For two years, entrepreneurs have been submitting applications for funds, for investments, for development, based on the KPO, which Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is introducing to Poland so broadly. Only to Henryka Bochniarz's question, ultimately an independent expert, perhaps from Lewiatan, did Henryka Bochniarz respond that there are large sums, large funds within the KPO, but unfortunately, society is not feeling it, and entrepreneurs speak of a decision-making paralysis – said Marek Sawicki on PR1.

– I recommend that Minister Dorożała and Minister Paulina actually launch investments, because without investments, there will be no discussion later about the issue of hunters and other matters related to environmental protection – he continued.

– In the latest evaluation of the KPO (National Recovery Plan), there are funds for large state-owned companies, but there are no funds for entrepreneurs, for those dispersed donors to the state budget who pay taxes, health insurance contributions, and pension contributions. For these entrepreneurs, the KPO's pool of funds is strangely absent; they are asking: is the liberal government of Civic Coalition, Polish People's Party, Poland 2050, with a social element from The Left, opposed to the development of investments in the Polish economy? – stated Marek Sawicki on PR1.

– I would like to highly commend Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, as he picked up on Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz's idea, back when PiS first announced, still in the previous term, that we were increasing 500+ to 800+, and Kosiniak-Kamysz publicly stated: "Yes, we are increasing to 800+, but these 800+ should be provided under the condition that at least one person is professionally active, or demonstrates a willingness for such professional activity." – Marek Sawicki said on PR1.

– From the perspective of financial scale and burden, it doesn't have much significance [removing 800+ from unemployed Ukrainians]. However, Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski has perfectly observed that due to the protracted war in Ukraine and the burdens undertaken by the Polish government related to conducting this war, anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland are growing, and this is one of the reasons why Rafał Trzaskowski is now returning to this proposal to tighten the 800+ system. Only, I repeat once again, it should be tightened for everyone, not just for emigrants – he continued.

– I also believe that for the first time in many years, we may be dealing with an attempt to falsify the elections. I don't recall the authorities ever being so afraid of an electoral defeat – he continued.

– I will give an example of three meetings that took place in my electoral district in recent weeks: Białobrzegi, Siedlce, Ciechanów. In each of these places, Karol Nawrocki broke long-standing attendance records for political meetings. So, if I recall President Andrzej Duda's campaign ten years ago in January, when we were happy if there were 50 people at a meeting, then this campaign is going much better right now – he continued.

– We had a National Council meeting, where Szymon Hołownia was also present, and we clearly stated that the PSL's candidate is the Marshal of the Sejm. Therefore, if he is our candidate, I naturally believe that the Central Executive Committee should also provide for the possibility of supporting our candidate with party funds, financial participation – stated Marek Sawicki in PR1.

– There are politicians who can guarantee this independence, and for over a year in the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia has very clearly shown that he is a Marshal above political divisions. – Poland will be competitive, and that means against everyone without exception in the world, but we must have cheaper energy. And these investments serve not only to satisfy Polish ambitions that we are the best, but ultimately, it is about making people's daily lives easier – he continued.

– In the coming days, we can also expect this new, long-awaited law, because it concerns onshore wind turbines. We will also consider how to implement the idea of repowering; we don't necessarily have to look for space for new wind turbines everywhere, but we can replace old turbines with much more efficient ones than currently available – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during an event marking the commencement of the Baltica 2 construction.

– I will discuss the details, how the Polish economy will look, how this breakthrough will look, with the world of Polish entrepreneurship, business, with people of the Polish economy, very soon, on February 10th, in the stock exchange building, so please keep your eyes and ears wide open, there we will announce this very ambitious program for Poland as a growth leader, as an economic leader, a Poland that is gaining momentum precisely in this year of breakthrough – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during an event related to the commencement of the construction of Baltica 2.

– Aware of all these challenges, already in March last year, I made the decision to prepare the "Warsaw Protects" program. Warsaw has allocated over PLN 100 million for this purpose, precisely to additionally prepare for all the challenges that lie ahead. To implement a concrete plan, strengthen our resilience, prepare warehouses with equipment, secure critical infrastructure, water intake points, ensure our ability to repel all cyberattacks, and strengthen the security center – we are doing all of this – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing.

– I ask myself the question: so where are these financial resources today? Where is our money and our financial resources today, which we have the right to spend in provincial and central Poland, because you pay the same taxes here in Biłgoraj as I do in Gdańsk – he continued.

– We pay the same taxes, which must be distributed in a balanced and just way. There is no other path for Poland than balanced development and finally closing the thinking about Poland A and Poland B. This is still the same Poland – he went on to say.

– Today, through a citizen candidate, we want to return responsibility for the Republic of Poland to the citizens – stated Karol Nawrocki in Biłgoraj.

– As president, I will submit my first legislative initiative, which will concern the return to the citizen project of CPK, which must be built in the form it existed before October 15, 2023 – he continued.

– Why were the electricity shields and protective measures removed, leading to inflation once again, which is reflected in grocery prices in stores, and why are we paying so much for electricity, affecting everyone, including small and medium-sized enterprises – said Karol Nawrocki in Biłgoraj.

– In 74 locations around the world, we do not have our representative, and we do not have Polish ambassadors, because the Polish government forgot or did not want to ask the Polish President, whose competencies these are. – We must appreciate what is ours. Appreciate our tradition, who we are. Believe in ourselves, so I appeal to you that we finally reject this post-communist, post-colonial spirit of inferiority. We are a nation created for great things, and you here in Biłgoraj know it, we know it in Gdańsk, in Warsaw, Polish communes and powiats know it. I want to lead you to an ambitious Poland, with aspirations, and a united Poland, a Poland of sustainable development. – No one will lecture a Polish farmer on how to manage a Polish farm. No one will destroy Polish farms with the Green Deal. He will come, begin with a free statement, during which he will recall that, in his opinion, our committee is illegal because there is a Constitutional Tribunal ruling, not yet published, stating the illegality of our committee's operation. – And then, in the part where we start asking questions, he will – I assume – refuse to answer our questions, saying that we are an illegal committee. This will probably end with another motion for disciplinary action – he continued.

– I don't recall such a situation. If these accusations are supported by evidence, not only witness testimonies, but also documents or verification of the financial status of the detained individuals, then it is a serious matter and it is a major, major crisis – stated Przemysław Wipler on TVN24.

– It shows that the matters that were happening, which we have criticized many times, concerning the way money was spent both during lockdown, during the pandemic, but also at the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, where billions of zlotys were spent in a short period, without competitive tenders, on various types of purchases in government agencies and various institutions – that was a pathology, and various people profited from this pathology – he continued.

– It was an attempt to test whether the common courts would recognize that we, as a commission, exist or not. It was an attempt to lead to a situation where one of the courts would rule that we do not. There is a Constitutional Tribunal ruling, though it has not been published, and for the CT to be valid, its publication is necessary. Besides, the Constitution states that it should be published immediately, and since April last year, no CT ruling has been published, and in this situation, he [Zbigniew Ziobro] was counting, I assume, in his tactics, on delegitimizing our commission – said Przemysław Wipler on TVN24.

A situation where a person I know, a person who started as a small start-up, producing t-shirts and patriotic clothing, suddenly becomes the main supplier of various promotional materials for state-owned companies, who starts flying Lamborghinis.
