At 10:00 AM, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN will host the conference "Denial, Distortion, and Disinformation: The Truth About the Holocaust 80 Years After the Liberation of Auschwitz Concentration Camp." At 10:10 AM, Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar will deliver introductory remarks.

At 10:30 AM, a press briefing will be held at the Ministry of Health with Minister Izabela Leszczyna and representatives of the paramedic community and the Ministry of Justice, following a meeting concerning solutions to enhance the safety of paramedics.

At 12:00 PM, a government session will commence dedicated to legislative projects concerning the Prison Service, the System of Development Institutions, and the EU network of data on agricultural holding sustainability levels. Nawrocki in the Lublin Voivodeship

At 9:00 AM, Karol Nawrocki will meet with trade unionists and employees at Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. A press briefing is scheduled for 10:00 AM.

At 1:30 PM, a meeting will begin with the presidential candidate supported by PiS and farmers in Opole Lubelskie, and at 4:00 PM, a meeting with residents and the Rural Women's Circle (KGW) is planned in Ryki. An open meeting with residents in Łuków is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Trzaskowski in the Greater Poland Voivodeship

A visit by Rafał Trzaskowski to the Pollena production plant in Ostrzeszów is scheduled for 10:00 AM. A press briefing will commence at 11:00 AM. At 12:30 PM, a tour of the Chamber of Tradition and Patriotism in the Ceków-Kolonia commune is planned, with the Civic Platform presidential candidate addressing the media.

A meeting with Rafał Trzaskowski at the Practical Training Center in Ostrów Wielkopolski is scheduled for 3:30 PM, and an open meeting will begin at 5:15 PM in the same town.

– We will be discussing this today. The situation of a rescuer is different in that we have a patient, we often have a very intimate situation, and so [recording this is a problem]. We remember several different disputes about recording what happens in the Emergency Department – said Izabela Leszczyna in an interview with Maciej Głogowski on „Poranek TOK FM”, when asked about equipping medical rescuers with cameras, similar to other services.

– Today there is a meeting [with medical rescuers], I am not prejudging anything at this moment – she continued.

– I wasn't a witness to that meeting; I was on my way to the European Parliament at the time, even though the meeting took place in my electoral district. However, it was a longer statement in which the priest did indeed support Dr. Nawrocki. I did not see that exchange of words – Adam Bielan said in RMF24.

The member of Karol Nawrocki's campaign staff was asked about yesterday's meeting with the candidate in Ciechanów. Father Jan Jóźwiak, who spoke, supported and blessed Nawrocki, stating among other things: – As for Professor Dudek, I advise you to give him a straight right or left punch if you meet him. The candidate supported by PiS commented on the priest's entire statement as follows: – God bless you, Dean. Thank you for these words and for your support.

– However, it is known that various emotions prevail at these kinds of meetings. We ensure that, unlike what happens at the meetings of PO supporters, who very often directly call for, I won't quote here, what the eight-star movement is all about... [...] One thing is certain, it cannot be compared to the séances of hatred that take place at Platform supporters' meetings – he stated.

When pressed whether Karol Nawrocki should not have reacted more decisively to those words, he replied: – I was not a participant in that meeting. I don't know if he heard exactly what the priest said. So it's difficult for me to comment on it.

– The act introducing free medication, which can be prescribed not only by doctors contracted with the National Health Fund (NFZ) and from Primary Healthcare (POZ) for individuals aged 65+ and 18+, has been on the President’s desk for almost a month. In this act, I am also introducing a solution whereby we will be able to get vaccinated at half price in pharmacies. I walk down the street, I see a pharmacy, I look, there’s a vaccination point, and I get vaccinated not only against COVID but also against the flu – said Izabela Leszczyna on TOK FM.

– I appeal to the President; people are truly waiting for this act – she continued.

– I’m taking this question [about replacing Karol Nawrocki] as a joke. […] If anyone might be thinking about replacing a candidate – and I know they are, because I also talk to PO MEPs – then it is most certainly PO, which already has, as we know perfectly well, a rich tradition of replacing candidates – said Adam Bielan on RMF24.

– I would very much like this [introduction of the electronic vaccination card] to happen this year. This year, we are also implementing several large projects from the National Reconstruction Plan, which were planned, not all of them well. We are trying to modify them a bit and are revising the KPO, but not everything can be done – said Izabela Leszczyna on TOK FM.

– An electronic vaccination card is extremely important for me, for Doctor Grzesiowski, and we will truly do it as quickly as possible – she continued.

– Certainly, yes [how people assess healthcare influences the government's rating], but you know, it's a bit like with inflation. Inflation was very, very high during the last years of the PiS government, catastrophic for two years, we remember it, and now we've added about 4% to their 18% inflation, and people feel it's worse – said Izabela Leszczyna in TOK FM.

– It's the same with the healthcare system. For 8 years, they introduced no sensible, systemic change… I've already introduced several, but we will see the effects in the second half of this year and next year – she continued.

– I am convinced that for the first time in many years, we may be dealing with an attempt to falsify election results. We may be dealing with an attempt at administrative actions that will hinder the victory of a candidate other than the government's candidate, Donald Tusk's candidate. That is why we must do everything to watch this government closely; that's why, many weeks ago, we established a movement for election protection – Adam Bielan said in an interview with RMF24, when asked if he could guarantee that PiS would accept the election results, regardless of what they might be.

– Should I consider your unwillingness to answer this question clearly as symptomatic? – Piotr Salak pressed.

– But I don't know how the election campaign will proceed, or how the vote counting will unfold. Donald Tusk is truly doing everything to make Poland increasingly resemble Belarus. We recently witnessed "elections" in Belarus. I hope such a situation will not occur in Poland – the PiS MEP replied.

– I see no need for Karol Nawrocki to pay for his accommodation [in the apartment of the Museum of the Second World War] – Adam Bielan said on RMF24.

– These apartments were built by his predecessors. For many years, they also lived in apartments funded by the museum… These apartments were built directly next to the office of the Director of the Museum of the Second World War, and the period you are referring to was the Covid period, when for the most part they could not be made available on the market – he continued.

– It was, incidentally, the idea of Director Karol Nawrocki to commercialize these apartments at some point, so that they would generate income for the Museum. Karol Nawrocki fulfilled his duties as museum director during Covid, at a time when, due to a positive Covid-19 test, he also had to be quarantined – he continued.

As he assessed: – The current management of the museum is extremely politicized, and their statements should be approached with great caution, as this is nothing more than a dirty, black campaign aimed at a candidate who has a huge chance of becoming the next president.

– He is wrong [Donald Tusk for not dismissing Barbara Nowacka]. Kowalewski stumbled over his words asking his wife for salt, but the truth is that the minister was reading from a script. How can you stumble over your words reading from a script? How? – stated Marek Jakubiak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

– I believe that Ms. Nowacka, in her very propagandistic activities, is mixing her ideas or ideologies, which she proclaims from morning till night, with her duty towards all children. I do not want ideology in schools. I want Polishness to be taught in Polish schools – stated Marek Jakubiak on Radio Zet.

– I speak Polish in the sense that patriotism equals Polishness and the Polish language above all. So I think English should be an addition, not the main, shall we say, goal of Polish schools – stated Marek Jakubiak on Radio Zet.

– I simply don't understand this phenomenon. Either the questions are phrased that way, I have no idea. We'll see during the elections. I recall the US elections where Kamala Harris was winning until the very end – stated Marek Jakubiak on Radio Zet.

– During the times when democracy was being discussed, and Gierek was in power, such umbrella operations were also carried out. So I think, and a 97.3% turnout. I think Mr. Gawkowski is heading in that direction. It's no wonder, his sources, his roots lie precisely in such thinking. It’s a similar way of thinking, that democracy needs help. No, democracy must not be hindered – stated Marek Jakubiak on Radio Zet.

– I believe this is the preparation of an alternative to invalidating elections they lose. I'm talking about those currently in power. Yes [the government will seek to invalidate elections if they lose]. [Based on] Russian influence, after all, Gawkowski said that. Romania is an example of this, and if Germany interfered in those elections, and they say Russians did, it means we are dealing with high-level manipulation – stated Marek Jakubiak on Radio Zet.

– Zandberg and the Together party have this bite, this serious approach to politics, whereas here we are talking about careerists who have come and the so-called 'trough' [positions of power/benefit] is more important to them. Yes [Ms. Biejat and Mr. Hołownia are careerists]. If you leave the Together party in order to get hold of the Deputy Marshal of the Senate, because there were conditions set there, what does that indicate? Mr. Hołownia is Mr. Hołownia – stated Marek Jakubiak on Radio Zet.

– It cannot be that anyone interferes in the elections of another country. We see disinformation and Russian interference in every election, which is absolutely scandalous and something we are fighting against in the European Union, but it cannot be that businessmen, even from a friendly country, try to influence election outcomes – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– Look at what has happened in recent days, when Elon Musk spoke remotely at an AfD rally, saying that Germany should really forget about the guilt of its history. It is unprecedented that someone can try to influence elections in Germany in this way and utter such nonsense, things that are absolutely dangerous – he continued.

– I am convinced that if Elon Musk tries to interfere in any elections, the effect will be counterproductive. And all those parties today, extremely populist, some even fascist-leaning, that are trying to curry favor with Elon Musk, must know that his support today, especially after what he did in Germany, may be more toxic than helpful – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– Kaczyński agreed for the Green Deal to even become one of the European Union's priorities, when it was still possible to potentially block it. He then agreed for it to become EU policy, and later decisions were made by majority vote – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– What did Morawiecki do? He agreed to absolutely everything, without fighting for EU funds for energy transformation. We fought for huge funds, and I personally did so for energy transformation, while Morawiecki signed everything blindly and secured no money, because those funds were blocked anyway – he continued.

– I talk to entrepreneurs all over Poland, and we are preparing a list of changes that should be made to make the lives of our entrepreneurs easier. I will also, of course, discuss this with the Minister of Finance so that some of these changes can be implemented – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– Some of these changes are not costly for the state budget at all, so they can be introduced, giving relief to entrepreneurs. I will give one example: if the tax office has 5 years to potentially show some irregularities in the management of a company and within 5 years it is unable to do so, then it is natural that such proceedings should expire – he continued.

– Today, it often happens that a few days before expiry, proceedings are opened only to check whether the entrepreneur has definitely not made any mistakes. This cannot be the case – he went on to say.

– Yes, I will revoke [the Order of the White Eagle from Antoni Macierewicz], because he is the person who contributed the most to building conspiracy theories, contributed the most to destroying trust in Poland, a person who should never have been awarded this order – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– Awarding such controversial figures as Macierewicz for his achievements, as I understand, from the times of the opposition, without taking into account what he did later, is precisely what undermines the seriousness of the decoration itself – he continued.

– We heard that statement at Mr. Nawrocki’s rally; it’s unbelievable that a priest is talking about landing blows, and you probably heard Mr. Nawrocki’s reaction yourselves. Watch it, because it also shows how Mr. Nawrocki approaches these kinds of proposals – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– Instead of asking for moderation, instead of smiling and saying it's not the best idea to encourage anyone to use a left hook, Mr. Nawrocki, full of humility, thanked the dean for such a suggestion – he continued.

– I am not in favour of removing this [Smolensk] monument from the square, because I believe that would provoke further protests, further divisions in our society. Regardless of whether we like this monument or not, it is a kind of symbol that is important for a part of our society – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

– If we are seriously talking about wanting to restore some elementary sense of community, not among politicians, but among people, then I don't think we should be looking for further reasons to differ. I know that a large part of Poles expect this, the removal of this monument, but I would leave it where it is, I wouldn't stir up emotions – he continued.

– Of course, another matter is whether, in the event of the reconstruction of the Saxon Palace […] it will not be necessary to move this monument a little, but that is something completely different, and it should remain in the same place, even if it is moved a few meters – he went on to say.

– Of course, I do not rule out appointing an envoy, but I do not believe that problems are solved permanently and effectively by appointing envoys. That's why we created Campus Polska Przyszłości [Campus Poland of the Future], to show that we take the young generation seriously – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a broadcast on his YouTube channel, responding to a question about whether he would appoint an envoy for cooperation with young people as president.

– We take them [young people] seriously enough that we encourage their participation in social and political life; some of them have become councillors, and two people have even become parliamentarians. This is taking the young generation seriously, not by appointing envoys – he continued.

– I do not rule out the possibility that such an envoy, if well-tasked, might make sense to establish such a position – he went on to say.

– We in Europe have put a leash on ourselves through the Maastricht Treaty and restrictions on using public debt for investments. I believe this is a mistake, especially in a world where other economic blocs do not restrict themselves in this way – said Adrian Zandberg in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

– I believe that what we should do in the coming months, and certainly in the coming years, is for Poland to come forward in the EU with a proposal for treaty changes. Treaty changes that will facilitate investments in energy, in new technologies, that will remove this yoke of public debt restrictions that is currently choking Europe – he stated.

– I think a coalition can be built in Europe on this issue. I think the French think similarly, that there are political forces in other EU countries – he added.

– Climate policy, if modified, will rather signify a policy in the interest of the FRG, meaning a return to gas, meaning gas imports. I do not want Poland to switch from coal to imported gas, which strengthens various satrapies, be it Russian or Middle Eastern, and makes us dependent on the whims of this or that satrap – said Adrian Zandberg on "The Core of the Matter" on Radio Plus.

– One of the trade unionists stated clearly: anyone who says Polish coal is expensive is lying, citing specific statistical data, while another trade unionist, from several trade unions and, as I mentioned, local government officials, directly appealed to the civic candidate: don't let them shut us down, allow us to develop. This is an appeal from the trade unionists, but as I understand it, also from the workforce, to appreciate the raw material that is coal and the capabilities of our enterprises – stated Karol Nawrocki at a briefing before LW Bogdanka.

– As a future President of the Republic of Poland, I will not agree to Transformation 2.0. To a green transformation that destroys the Polish social economy and specific sectors of economic life in Poland. We have the experience of the Polish systemic transformation from the 1990s. This transformation led to the exclusion from social and economic life of entire groups of Poles in various regions of Poland – he continued.

– I will not allow a situation where Transformation 2.0, in other words, eco-terrorism, destroys the Polish social economy – he emphasized.

– I think this is weak. Simply very weak [the issue of Katarzyna Kotula's higher education]. But I will say openly: if I were Minister Kotula, I would resign for a completely different reason. Minister Kotula has not delivered anything this year that she promised her voters – said Adrian Zandberg in the "Sedno Sprawy" program on Radio Plus.

– And this is the fundamental problem with this government. Not these slip-ups, some minor lies, some slips of the tongue. [...] I judge it as I judge it, but what I mean is that these things spin us around terribly in Polish politics, but because of this, we don't look at the content – he assessed.

– When we talk about education, I would like us, for example, to ask ourselves if this was well implemented, this abolition of homework. Because I have serious reservations about it – said Adrian Zandberg in “Sedno Sprawy” on Radio Plus.

He stated: – I believe that Polish schools were not prepared for the abolition of homework, and introducing it in such a completely unprepared and rather irresponsible manner is a much greater sin by the Minister of Education than her having made a fatal slip of the tongue, let’s be frank, and one that is harmful to Poland.

– Today, the Polish state has matured to a point where a civic candidate for the office of President of the Republic of Poland, becoming the voice, guardian, and advocate for those wronged by radical, often liberal politicians, can speak, because as you can see, no one is shooting at us today, nor is anyone dispersing us – stated Karol Nawrocki at a briefing before LW Bogdanka.

– Let's engage in dialogue, resolving the issues of specific social groups and protecting these social groups, like miners, from what climate policy leads to, and those responsible for it should of course be brought before justice. You talk to miners, steelworkers, farmers, foresters, football fans, and all other social groups, you don't shoot at them – he continued.

– Of course, in political discourse and in general in my life, both social, political, and personal, outside the ring and extreme situations where, for example, I stand up for a woman or a wronged person, I of course do not use any straight left or right punches. However, the priest appealed for many things. It was a very complex question, and with the microphone cutting out, not all of that information reached me; there were many questions directed at me. I told the priest, and I repeat: God bless you for the wishes directed at the civic candidate, because there were wishes for victory in the upcoming presidential elections – stated Karol Nawrocki at a briefing before LW Bogdanka.

– However, if you, Madam Editor, or Professor Dudek, are in distress, I guarantee that I leave my boxing skills for appearances in the boxing ring. The professor knows that I am a very gentle, calm, smiling person. Therefore, I do not accept this remark and this opinion, this wish from the priest, and for everything said to the priest, I say: God bless you, thank you for believing in my victory – the candidate continued.

He added: – This might also be a moment to clearly state that all those alarmed by the words of the priest, who wishes the candidate victory in the upcoming elections, could focus on the Woman of the Year in Warsaw, perhaps by listening to the words of many protestors. I think this is Grandma Kasia, that's her name, and I think this is a moment when my main opponent, concerned by these words from the priest, could reflect on who he associates with, and what language they use.

– Everyone has the right to a slip of the tongue. I have doubts whether it was a slip of the tongue, because I know this industry of lies, contempt, including historical. I know the publications of those who use such terms, and unfortunately, these scientists are within the environment of today’s Polish government. I hope it was a slip of the tongue, though I don’t fully believe it – stated Karol Nawrocki at a briefing before LW Bogdanka.

– If Minister Nowacka, if Prime Minister Tusk, if Civic Platform Vice-Chairman Trzaskowski would like to clearly state that this was a slip of the tongue, then I will tell you what they should do. They should clearly condemn Barbara Engelking, Jan Grabowski, and all the ahistorical, scientific slanders they have supported for so many years – he continued.

– The list of days I supposedly spent in an apartment also includes New Year's Eve, which I spent with my wife and children. We even looked through photos with my wife, we have nice pictures. If you're interested, I played FIFA that New Year's Eve before watching Sylwester Marzeń with very nice young people, but the list also includes February 12th, 13th, and 14th, when I spent a really lovely time with my wife and son in a town in Kashubia, and there is evidence for that too – stated Karol Nawrocki at a briefing before LW Bogdanka.

– The issue of security […] is about strengthening our defense capabilities, securing our border, but it is also economic patriotism. Because strengthening our companies and agriculture contributes to us being much safer and ready for all kinds of situations – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Ostrzeszów.

– Take simple soap, for example – it is simple soap that is needed to cope in difficult situations, so that doctors can use it – said the candidate, who had previously visited the Pollena production facility.

“We Want to Prepare a Whole Package of Solutions”
– We talked about all the problems that Polish entrepreneurs are struggling with. First of all, inflation […], energy prices […]. We also talked, of course, about how to ensure conditions for the development of Polish entrepreneurship. I am preparing such a program, very concrete solutions, which are precisely the result of dozens, no, hundreds of conversations that I have had with entrepreneurs – he announced.

– Of course, we want to go beyond these truisms. It must be repeated that the most important thing is a clear and transparent tax system that does not change from week to week; the president is there to ensure this […]. But we want […] to prepare a whole package of solutions that will contribute to Polish enterprises being able to develop better – he continued.

– For months, I have been travelling all over Poland, meeting with entrepreneurs, and listening to their demands. Based on this, I will prepare a package of solutions, which I will of course consult first, and discuss with the Minister of Finance. Because we would like to implement at least part of these solutions immediately, without even waiting for the elections – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Ostrzeszów.

– Of course, this package will be necessary to clearly state what the potential consequence of my winning the presidential election would be. That we will have a president who will be independent, who will listen to the voice of our entrepreneurs, and if the government does not want to implement some of the solutions I propose, because that is the simplest and most effective path, then I will take matters into my own hands and submit my own initiative – he continued.

– I am much more concerned by Mr. Nawrocki's reaction. Various things can happen at meetings, people can ask various questions, however, the fact that Mr. Nawrocki thanked for such a suggestion, bowed as if acknowledging it to be a great idea, is something unprecedented – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Ostrzeszów.

– We would expect a completely different reaction: a reaction that clearly condemns calls for violence. But it is evident that the PiS candidate considers such calls to be something completely natural and probably thinks in a similar way. After all, he boasts about being a boxer – he stated.

– We are waiting for a clear reaction, because the lack of reaction indicates that the candidate sees nothing wrong with such behavior – he assessed.

– We are meeting today essentially on one matter. That matter is funds for conducting an election campaign. In a normal, lawful situation, we would have these funds, but we already know today […] that these funds will not be available, and therefore, today, and I want to strongly emphasize this, the most important matter for our future, for our democracy, for our development, is to be able to conduct a full election campaign for Mr. Karol Nawrocki – said Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– This campaign will only be possible if society, the supporters of this candidate […] support us, and we are asking for this very much, because this is the most important issue for Poland today. Much more important than all those other things that are also spoken about in the same context, the context of fundraising – he continued.

– Hence the appeal, an appeal to the supporters of this candidacy […] for support – he went on to say.

– Rafał Trzaskowski, who is Donald Tusk’s deputy, traded his honor for money, because a true man, when he enters a duel – and the competition for the office of President of the Republic can be described as such – enters on equal terms – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– Meanwhile, Law and Justice has been illegally deprived of funds, and Rafał Trzaskowski’s campaign will be fueled by millions originating from Civic Platform – he continued.

– Minister Ziobro’s audacity is simply unbelievable, because all these years we have primarily condemned discretionary decisions, namely PiS distributing money and police cars according to their own discretion to municipalities where they wanted to increase their support, doing so only during election campaigns – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

Trzaskowski: It’s normal for me to strengthen uniformed services in the city I manage

– I don't choose municipalities for political reasons as to whom I want to help; I simply continue to work as the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw and continue these programs, so I don't see anything strange here. After all, it is completely natural that as the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, I am strengthening the uniformed services of the city I manage – he continued.

– I don't concern myself with who lived where during some period, and please don't ask me about it at all – Jarosław Kaczyński stated at a press conference, when asked if Karol Nawrocki should return money for his stay in an apartment at the Museum of the Second World War.

– Regarding whether the director of some institution has the right to reside in premises belonging to that institution, that is a question that can be debated, but compared to the weight of what is being fought for in Poland today, it is not even a third-rate issue, but a thirty-third-rate one – he continued.

– I hope Mr. Karol Nawrocki simply explains himself on this. Because this is indeed quite an alarming piece of information, I see he is trying to downplay it, but it is worth facing the truth – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– Regarding the phrase 'Don't fear Tusk,' it is not vulgar, that is the first point. As for what happened with the other phrase [the so-called 'eight stars'], I prefer not to return to it at all, because it is such a disgrace for those forces, not only political but also social, that are on the side opposing us, that I would simply have to use words here that I prefer not to use to describe it – said Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– Regarding the validity of the elections, we have no intention of requesting their annulment; rather, we would have the legitimacy to do so – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– You are overestimating my relationship with Dr. Nawrocki; it is very rare, and usually [...] just a few days ago I met him here in this place, there were some undertakings related to our electoral support, it was an exchange of a few words, a minute, maybe two minutes, and that was it – Jarosław Kaczyński said at a press conference.

– We are dealing here with undertakings that will rather enter the annals, the history of Polish political cabaret, rather than what can be taken seriously. – The creation of new conceptual categories, beyond statutory ones, such as neo-judges, has led to such chaos in the justice system that citizens are getting lost, and I believe that everyone who led to this should be held accountable – he continued.
