The last pre-Christmas week in politics will primarily focus on the government's decision regarding the inclusion of TVN and Polsat on the list of strategic companies, the final Sejm deliberations of the year, the Senate's review of the budget bill for the upcoming year, and Prime Minister Tusk's participation in the European Council summit.

PKW on Supreme Court Ruling. The National Electoral Commission (PKW) is scheduled to convene on Monday to address the Supreme Court's ruling concerning Law and Justice's appeal against the rejection of its electoral report. The Supreme Court's decision obliges the PKW to accept the report of the largest opposition party.
V4 Presidents' Summit. On Monday and Tuesday, President Andrzej Duda will host a meeting of the Visegrad Group presidents in Wisła.
Hearings Before the Investigative Committee. On Monday, the Pegasus investigative committee will hear testimony from Grzegorz Ocieczek, former deputy head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, and Andrzej Stróżny, former head of the CBA. Portions of these hearings will be conducted in closed sessions.
Tusk at a Christmas Eve Meeting with the 15th Gołdap Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment. On Monday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will attend a Christmas Eve gathering with soldiers and staff of the 15th Gołdap Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
Nawrocki in Gdańsk. This week also marks the continuation of the so-called presidential pre-campaign. On Monday, PiS-backed presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki will meet with the residents of Gdańsk.
Government on TVN. The government, during its Wednesday session, will consider a draft regulation concerning the list of entities subject to protection and their respective control authorities – effectively, the inclusion of TVN and Polsat on the list of strategic companies. Ministers will also review a draft amendment to certain laws aimed at eliminating irregularities in the visa system.
Last Sejm Session of the Year. On Wednesday, the three-day final Sejm session of the year will commence. The agenda currently does not include highly political items; lawmakers will address, among other things, changes to the Penal Code and the report of the investigative committee on the visa scandal.
Senate on the Budget. At the session commencing on Wednesday, the upper house will consider the budget bill for 2025, which was passed during the Sejm's last sitting. Senators will also address, among other matters, the Fiscal Council Act.
European Council Summit. On Thursday, EU leaders will meet in Brussels to discuss Ukraine, the EU's global position, the Middle East, resilience and preparedness, as well as issues concerning migration and foreign policy. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been invited to Brussels on the occasion of the European Council meeting. Prior to the session, an EU-Western Balkans summit will be held.
