Tuesday's Political Agenda: Government on Sanctions Act Amendments, Nawrocki and Błaszczak Conferences, Committees on Health Contributions and Free Christmas Eve, Duda in Armenia

At 9:15 AM in Sochaczew, a conference supporting PiS candidate for president, Karol Nawrocki, will take place.

At 11:00 AM in the Sejm, a press conference will be held by the chairman of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, and PiS MP Zbigniew Kuźmiuk.

At 11:00 AM, the parliamentary investigative committee for the visa scandal will consider the draft resolution submitted by the chairman.

At 12:00 PM, a government session will commence. The agenda includes draft amendments to the act on special measures to counteract the support of aggression against Ukraine and to protect national security, the act on the National Revenue Administration, and the act on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism, as well as draft changes to the Penal Code and the Prison Service Act.

At 3:30 PM, Sejm health and public finance committees will review the government's draft amendment to the act concerning changes in health contributions, as well as a motion to establish an extraordinary subcommittee.

At 4:15 PM, Sejm economy and development, and social policy and family committees will consider two parliamentary draft acts – authored by Lewica and Poland 2050 – regarding a free Christmas Eve and trading Sundays. Earlier, at 2:00 PM, the Sejm economy committee will hold a discussion on the proposal to establish Christmas Eve as a non-working day.

President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda will pay an official visit to Armenia. The plan includes "one-on-one" talks between the presidents, a meeting with media representatives – at 8:45 AM Polish time – as well as a visit to the Armenian Stock Exchange and talks with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Klimczak on the Dismissal of the Lower Silesian Voivode:

The Pace of Work So Far Has Not Been Adequate.
- The situation after the flood must return to its pre-flood state as quickly as possible. Furthermore, we need to streamline many processes, and the pace of work so far has not been adequate, hence, I believe, the decision of the Ministry of Interior and the Prime Minister himself - Dariusz Klimczak said in "Piasecki's Interview" on TVN24, when asked about the dismissal of the Lower Silesian voivode. - It is never the case that one person is 100% to blame, neither for success nor for failure, but the voivode manages the administration, which is meant to work as a team and deliver specific results - he continued.

08:00

Klimczak:

If Not for the Candidate Swap 5 Years Ago, Hołownia or Kosiniak-Kamysz Could Have Won
- Ultimately, however, 5 years ago, if not for the swap of candidates, different things could have happened. Szymon Hołownia could have won, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz could have won – said Dariusz Klimczak on TVN24, when asked why everyone complains about polarization, but when it comes down to it, people choose between PO and PiS.

08:05

Klimczak on a Joint Presidential Candidate:

We Can Still Field Him.
- The proposal for a joint, single candidate, which Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz spoke about, makes a lot of sense, and we are still able to field him. However, I think we will return to this topic at the end of the campaign - Dariusz Klimczak said on TVN24. - Szymon Hołownia can also be a joint candidate. Why did Law and Justice announce their candidate only after Civic Coalition nominated theirs? If the Civic Coalition's candidate, I believe, had been Radosław Sikorski, I think Law and Justice would have put forward a different candidate - he continued.

08:11

Klimczak:

If Nawrocki Stumbles, Part of His Electorate Could Shift to Hołownia
- Candidates' stumbles are of great significance. We remember the start of Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska; both Szymon Hołownia and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz capitalized on her misstep - Dariusz Klimczak said on TVN24. - If Karol Nawrocki [...] stumbles, if the Law and Justice voters, that moderate part of the Law and Justice electorate, stop believing in him or backing him because they deem him uncertain [...] a portion of his electorate could shift to another candidate - he continued. - I doubt a significant part of them would shift to the Civic Coalition candidate, with all due respect to Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, but rather to Szymon Hołownia - he went on to say.

08:15

Klimczak:

We Will Build CPK, the Airport, and High-Speed Rail
- We will build CPK, we will build a new airport, and high-speed rail - Dariusz Klimczak stated on TVN24.

08:24

Klimczak on PSL members in state-owned companies:

You cannot discriminate against someone affiliated with one party or another.
- Certainly, the main criterion is knowledge, substantive preparation [...] there is one person who is the son of a PSL MP, but nobody pays attention to the fact that this is a person connected to the railways, he works for Koleje Wielkopolskie and people like him are needed in the supervisory boards of other companies - said Dariusz Klimczak on TVN24, when asked about people associated with the PSL in State Treasury companies and government agencies. - The Military Property Agency, the head of this agency, a graduate of economics specializing in real estate management. The fact that he knows Kosiniak-Kamysz and did not cooperate with him in the past does not mean he cannot function there - he continued, when asked about people associated with the PSL in the Military Property Agency, Totalizator Sportowy, supervisory boards of WARS and Szybka Kolej Miejska in Trójmiasto, and the Transport Technical Supervision. - These people will be held accountable for their work results. You cannot discriminate against someone affiliated with one party or another - he went on to say.

08:29

Korneluk:

Constitutional Tribunal's Ruling Issued in Violation of Law

- In this matter, I completely agree with the stance of the Minister of Justice, the Prosecutor General, but also with very well-known constitutional lawyers who professionally deal with constitutional law, who speak with one voice - there were no substantive, legal grounds for issuing this kind of ruling, especially by the panel that ruled on Friday [in the Constitutional Tribunal] - stated Dariusz Korneluk in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- We cannot just accept this ruling as binding, as if it were issued in accordance with the law. We find ourselves in a legal situation where the authority of the Constitutional Tribunal, which was very high not so long ago, today in my opinion is nonexistent, and this is not just my opinion, but that of the legal community - he continued.

08:37

Korneluk on Romanowski's Re-arrest:

I See Sense in This.

- Prosecutors see sense in this, I also see sense in [the re-arrest] because, referring to Judge Tuleya's statement, the MP [Marcin Romanowski] may continue to obstruct the proceedings, as we have documented evidence of how he approaches these proceedings and what steps he might take to hinder them - stated Dariusz Korneluk on Polsat News' "Graffiti" program.

08:39

Korneluk:

Today's prosecution service is no longer at politicians' beck and call

- I would like to guarantee you that today's prosecution service is no longer at politicians' beck and call. It is a citizens' prosecution service, we are governed solely by the Penal Code - stated Dariusz Korneluk on Polsat News's "Graffiti" program.

09:16

Bodnar:

The Mills of Justice Grind Slowly, But They Do Grind
- The mills of justice, including criminal justice, grind slowly, but they do grind. However, all these cases are moving forward - said Adam Bodnar in an interview with Renata Grochal on the PR3 program “Bez uników” (Without Evasion). He continued: - Please note the situation with the Fundusz Sprawiedliwości (Justice Fund) - the investigation began at the end of February, and we are at the stage where indictments will soon be filed in court. This is a relatively short time for such a complex, multi-threaded proceeding. I am referring to the thread related to the Profeto Foundation. - There is a case concerning the appropriation of a watch that was at the disposal of the Minister of National Defence. An indictment has also been filed in this case - he pointed out. - It seems to me that in the case of Antoni Macierewicz, justice will proceed step by step. Of course, the issue of waiving immunity always causes delays, as it requires parliamentary involvement, and these procedures also take some time - he stated.

09:33

Duda:

Armenia's Closer Ties to the EU Hold Significant Importance for Us
- In the near future [...] Poland will assume the presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the issue of Armenia's approximation to the European community [...] holds immense significance. [...] There is no doubt that Armenia's contribution to the development of European civilization is enormous. [...] The issue of Armenia's closer approximation, also politically speaking [...] to the European community, to the European Union, holds very significant importance for us - said President Andrzej Duda after a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia. "We want to strengthen political ties between Poland and Armenia, and between Armenia and the EU" - In this regard, we want to strengthen political ties between Poland and Armenia, and between Armenia and the European Union. We also want to strengthen economic ties, and we discussed this with Mr. President. [...] I would like this cooperation between Poland and Armenia, economic cooperation, to expand in other directions as well. Today, we spoke about the development of this cooperation in the field of new technologies, [...] in the field of climate protection - he continued. "We discussed security-related issues" - We also discussed the most important political issues, of course, related to security [...] about the very unstable, difficult situation we are observing today, I can say, in our part of Europe. From our Polish perspective, this is primarily Russia's aggression against Ukraine [...]. I asked if Mr. President sees any possibilities for wider involvement of Poland, and more broadly the international community, in resolving these disputed issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan - he further stated. "I hope we will manage to organize a Polish-Armenian economic forum" - I invited Mr. President to pay an official visit to Warsaw. I hope that on the occasion of this visit, we will manage to organize a Polish-Armenian economic forum in Warsaw - he added.

09:58

Duda on Nawrocki:

An Interesting Candidate, Close to My Heart.
- I am very pleased that the process of forming this group of candidates for the office of President of the Republic is underway and is progressing - said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference after a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia. - Regarding the candidacy of Dr. Karol Nawrocki, I will say this: he is certainly a very interesting candidate, I can say, concerning his approach to our matters, historical issues, state matters, close to my heart. I can say that boldly, personally, from myself - he stated. - I am glad that this candidate has been presented. I am glad that PiS has presented him as their candidate, whom they are endorsing, because in this way, we have clarity in the presidential race regarding who the candidates of the most important political groupings are - he added.

10:16

Nawrocki:

Social Sensitivity, Etched in My Biography, Will Be a Pillar of My Program
- Of course, the element of social sensitivity, care for persons with disabilities, but also for those who work every day with persons with disabilities. In general, social care and social sensitivity, which are etched in my biography, will certainly be an element of my program - said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Sochaczew.

10:19

Nawrocki on Program Presentation:

Special Events or Even a Special Convention.
- I will present the program in the coming weeks. Special events, or even a special convention, will be dedicated to this - said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Sochaczew.

10:23

Nawrocki on Polls:

A Very Good Result for Someone Who Only Announced Their Candidacy on Sunday,
- I do not intend to comment on polls, although from what the editor is saying, it is a very good result for someone who only announced on Sunday that he would be a candidate for the President of the Republic - said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Sochaczew.

10:30

Nawrocki on the Campaign Team: A Blend of Political Experience and a Fresh, Non-Partisan Perspective
- Paweł Szefernaker is, above all, a man of my generation, born in the 1980s. It is very important for a presidential candidate to have a common thread of understanding with someone who will be so close to them throughout the entire campaign. But he is also a very experienced campaign politician, with many campaigns behind him, including successful, winning ones – Karol Nawrocki said at a press conference in Sochaczew. - The campaign team itself, as you know, will be a combination of people who have political experience and those who will bring a fresh, apolitical, non-partisan perspective to the new presidential candidate – he continued.

10:35

Nawrocki on His Plans for the Coming Days:

Three Towns.
- My plan for the coming days is to visit three towns, to meet with their residents. In Silesia, Lower Silesia, and Greater Poland. These are my plans for the immediate future - stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Sochaczew.

10:43

Nawrocki Announces: I Intend to Visit All Counties in Poland
- I have such a plan – and I encourage all candidates to do the same, if they have the strength and return from their holidays – I intend to visit all counties in Poland during the upcoming presidential campaign – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Sochaczew. - I want to talk to Poles. Meetings with Poles, discussions with Poles, getting to know the current problems of Poles are the most important thing for me – he added.

10:48

Nawrocki on Campaigning and Leading the IPN:

It Can Be Combined
- It can be combined, as you can see today. The IPN collegium is at 11 AM, and from 11 AM until the very evening, I will be performing my duties as President of the IPN. I arrived today in a private car because I don't have my IPN presidential duties in Sochaczew today, […] I arrived as a candidate for president – Karol Nawrocki said at a press conference in Sochaczew. - I assure all of you that I will work for the IPN not only 8 hours today, but more than 8 hours – he added.

10:57

Nawrocki Asked About Leave from the IPN:

When it's Necessary and Needed.
- I am thinking about it [taking leave], I have over 50 days of leave. These have been very busy three years, and during these three years, as president, I haven't been able to rest much and take a substantial, regular vacation - Karol Nawrocki said at a press conference in Sochaczew. - Therefore, I will certainly make use of my leave from work at the IPN in those moments when it is necessary and needed - he announced.

11:07

Nawrocki on the Smolensk Catastrophe:

We Cannot Rule Out That an Assassination Occurred.
- I know the essence of the communist system, the essence of both Soviet Russia and post-Soviet Russia, and thus today's Russian Federation. Both the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation are certainly states, structures ready for assassinations of their enemies, for extermination, for murder; I'm speaking about the Soviet Union before 1989 - said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Sochaczew. - Therefore, it would be drastically naive to believe, or at least not to suspect, that [the Smolensk catastrophe] could have been an assassination. If we know the history of the Soviet Union, the mentality of today's leaders of the Russian Federation, then we cannot rule out that an assassination occurred - he assessed.

11:12

Nawrocki:

IPN Employees Were Proud I Was Running, and One of Them Decided to Share Such a Post
- IPN employees were proud that the President of the IPN would run for the office of President of the Republic. One of the employees decided to share such a post - Karol Nawrocki said at a press conference in Sochaczew, when asked about a controversial post regarding his participation in the elections, published by the IPN profile on the X portal. - I think that's enough, this is not the place where I should comment on tweets. We are discussing serious matters - he stated. - Such a post was created by an employee. I am very pleased with the support of the employees, thank you, dear IPN employees - he added.

12:25

Tusk Announces Another PLN 3.5 Billion for CPK:

Further Financing for This Undertaking.

- I have made the decision to transfer PLN 3.5 billion, these are treasury bonds, and this money will co-finance the company. It will be related to the design work for the terminal, the railway station and the interchange hub, public transport, zones, as well as connection networks and preparatory work for the construction of the CPK airport - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

- I am saying this because there is still a lot of confusion in the public space, and this is confusion often generated by those who talked a lot about CPK but did nothing. We may be less effective in promoting this project, but the people responsible for this project are simply carrying out the work, and with this decision, I am ensuring further financing for this undertaking - the head of government continued.

As Tusk said: - Today, regarding CPK, we will, at the request of the Ministry of State Assets, decide on the transfer of LOT Polish Airlines to the Ministry of Infrastructure. This is related to the need to consolidate our efforts, to integrate our actions related precisely to this major infrastructure project.

12:30

Tusk:

Poland Will Not Accept Mercosur Agreement on Agriculture
- What should cut short speculation, anxieties, and lengthy discussions, including in parliament, regarding the agreement with the so-called Mercosur group, the European Union's trade agreement, we are talking here about free trade between the European Union and South American countries, in a simplification, - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting. - We will adopt today, at the request of Minister Paszyk, but I discussed this with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and Minister Siekierski earlier, because the matter concerns not only, but largely Polish farmers, so this was the recommendation of the Prime Minister and the ministers, that we adopt a Council of Ministers resolution today regarding our position, - he continued. - Paragraph one of this resolution: The Council of Ministers expresses its opposition to the hitherto results of negotiations with Mercosur in the agricultural sector, particularly regarding the increase of customs quotas for poultry meat at the final stage of tariff offer exchanges, - he went on to say. - This is about a political message. Poland will not accept it, and of course, we are not alone; many member states share a similar opinion. We will not accept the agreement with South American countries, i.e., the Mercosur group, in this form, - he added.

12:43

Tusk on Financial Support for Polish Higher Education Institutions:

Rectifying Wrongs and Injustices.
- I have decided to allocate bonds worth 1.5 billion PLN for Polish higher education institutions. These funds will not, of course, solve all the problems of Polish science and the academic community, but this is certainly very significant support - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting. - It's also about strategic investments that will enable scientific research, pro-student investments, so-called essential investments, these are apparatus projects, among others, or building modernizations. I also won't hide that, in agreement with the Minister of Science and Higher Education, we have decided to at least partially rectify the wrongs and injustices that the academic, university, and scientific community experienced under the previous government - he continued. - Those who were treated very unjustly now have a chance, at least partially, to compensate for their losses and the mistreatment by our predecessors' governments, and consequently, those who lived in clover during our predecessors' governments have fewer reasons for satisfaction and joy today - he went on to say.

12:52

Błaszczak:

The Government of the December 13 Coalition is Characterized by Social Insensitivity

- We are focusing on supplementing the citizen's bill submitted in June of this year with provisions to protect finances in the coming year. This is a simple solution that guarantees the solvency of local governments. If such a solution is not adopted, we must expect that, for example, activities in schools will be curtailed, as local governments will not be able to afford to cover energy-related costs - stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference in the Sejm.

- The PiS government was characterized by social sensitivity; we reacted in such situations. We did not allow the pockets of Poles to be emptied. The government of the December 13 coalition is characterized by social insensitivity because it does not react in situations where a reaction is necessary - he continued.

14:26

Civic Coalition Slightly Ahead of Law and Justice in New Poll for TVN, Confederation on the Podium

Opinia24 poll commissioned by Fakty TVN and TVN24:

Civic Coalition (KO) - 35%
Law and Justice (PiS) - 32%
Confederation - 13%
The Left (Lewica) - 7%
Third Way (Trzecia Droga) - 7%
Other Party - 2%
Don't know/hard to say - 4%

15:40

Kierwiński on aid for flood victims:

I am not satisfied with the pace of payments, which is why we applied the 1997 protocols.

- I myself am not satisfied with the pace of payments, but please remember that we are managing public funds. The payments required appropriate protocols, and these protocols are not a modern invention. These protocols have been in effect since 1997. We have not changed anything here regarding this procedure – stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.

- We decided to streamline the process because the pace was insufficient, also to address the fact that this flood occurred at a time when the winter period is very close. No one who suffered during this flood will be left without government assistance – he continued.

15:51

Domański Comments on the EC's Decision:

A Positive Assessment.

We have a positive assessment from the European Commission for our Medium-Term Fiscal-Structural Plan! The Commission took into account the increase in investment in expanding our defence capabilities. We are focusing on economic growth driven by investment," wrote Minister Andrzej Domański on social media.

17:23

Błaszczak on Nawrocki's Recognition:

Undoubtedly Not Great.
- Undoubtedly, the recognition of Mr. Dr. Nawrocki is not great, but we have a campaign ahead of us, a long one, because the Marshal of the Sejm announces that the elections, the first round, will take place in May this year, so we have many months to demonstrate the advantages of the civic candidate - said Mariusz Błaszczak in the "Political Interview" on TOK FM.

17:28

Błaszczak:

Nawrocki Guarantees an End to the Polish-Polish War
- I ask for support for Dr. Karol Nawrocki, because as an independent candidate, he guarantees that the Polish-Polish war can end, while the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform, Rafał Trzaskowski, does not offer such a guarantee; he is a party activist - said Mariusz Błaszczak on TOK FM.

17:31

Błaszczak:

Trzaskowski is Polished, Everything Was Handed to Him on a Silver Platter, While Nawrocki is a Self-Made Man
- Rafał Trzaskowski is so polished, everything in his life was handed to him on a silver platter [...] while Karol Nawrocki – a self-made man, a person who comes from a working-class family, who owes his social position, his entire achievements to himself, his work, his ambitions – said Mariusz Błaszczak on TOK FM.

17:38

Błaszczak on poll showing Nawrocki at 26% support:

Promising, there is great potential.
- A promising poll, showing that there is great potential when it comes to Dr. Karol Nawrocki's candidacy, we will all work towards his victory - said Mariusz Błaszczak on TOK FM, when asked about a poll for TVN in which Rafał Trzaskowski has 41% in the first round of elections, and Karol Nawrocki has 26%.

19:34

Morawiecki:

They Want to Win the Presidential Election at the Cost of a Huge Budget Deficit
- They have started to indebt our country enormously. Why? After them, the deluge. They want to win the presidential election, to guarantee victory for this party apparatchik in the presidential election at the cost of a huge budget deficit - said Mateusz Morawiecki in Radom. - They behave as if you, who have to make ends meet, who live from paycheck to paycheck, barely having enough – suddenly decided: I'll take out a loan and fly to Mallorca. I'll take out a second loan, I'll replace my eight-year-old car with a new one. I can't afford it, but I'll change it. I'll also buy three bicycles, one for my neighbor - he continued. - Who reasons like that within a household budget? And this is how the current authorities behave, who, unfortunately, are indebting our country at a dramatically fast pace, the consequences of which we will bear for many years - he assessed.

19:43

Breakthrough in Polish-Ukrainian Relations Regarding Volhynia? Sikorski: No Issues Unrelated to EU Membership Will Influence Poland's Stance
I assured the Minister of Poland's support for a swift and efficiently conducted accession process for Ukraine to the European Union. We will utilize the period of Poland's presidency of the Council of the EU to maximally accelerate this process – stated Radosław Sikorski at a press conference. Ukraine's membership in the EU is in our country's strategic interest. Negotiations will be complicated, they will concern sensitive issues such as transport or agriculture, but I want to clearly emphasize that no issues unrelated to EU membership will influence our stance – he continued.

19:43

Sikorski:

Ukraine Must Reclaim Territories Recognized by the International Community

- I would like to emphasize our unwavering position. Ukraine must regain its territories within internationally recognized borders. Should talks begin on ending the war, which, in our assessment, are not in sight at the moment, given Russia's increasingly brutal attacks, including the use of new, dangerous types of weaponry. Any solution prepared must have the acceptance of our Ukrainian friends. Poland will support them in this – said Radosław Sikorski at a press conference.

19:43

Morawiecki on Reducing State Debt:

I Know How to Do It.
- I will not talk about any magic wands. I will only say: this is hard work, a difficult task. But I know how to do it. If voters ever entrust the government to Law and Justice again, and if I have any role to play, then I know how to do it to reduce the debt of the Polish state - said Mateusz Morawiecki in Radom.

19:58

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Polls conducted today have no bearing on the May results

- One thing can be said today. That polls conducted today have no bearing on the result that will come in May - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:01

Kosiniak-Kamysz on Nawrocki:

Many PiS Politicians Are Not Entirely Convinced by This Candidacy.

- Such suggestions are being made [that someone might withdraw a candidate]. Undoubtedly, many PiS politicians are not entirely convinced by this candidacy [of Karol Nawrocki] - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:04

Morawiecki:

Under Our Government, Poland Was Fully Independent
- I believe that Poland was fully independent under our government. Under our government, it was fully independent. […] One can have sovereignty, one can have independence in terms of external attributes, but it can only be half real, truly real - Mateusz Morawiecki said in Radom. - We have democratic elections, but today’s elite, represented by PO (Civic Platform), does not act for the good of Poland, as I think most people in Poland would understand it: maintaining social policy, security policy, absence of deficit, or absence of such a gigantic budget deficit... - he continued. - It is possible for us to be a fully independent state, but this requires different political choices than those made last year - he stated.

20:16

Kosiniak-Kamysz Asked About Potential Nuclear War:

We Must Be Prepared for Every Scenario.

- It [the threat of nuclear war] is always there, we must be prepared for every scenario. Of course, the Cold War, the history of the Cold War teaches us about elements of escalation, de-escalation, and threats. Nuclear weapons have always been the biggest argument never used, but that doesn't mean it will always be that way - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- I don't want to scare anyone, I try to do it calmly and speak systematically - every scenario is possible. We must be so strong that it never pays to attack us, that an attack on Poland and other NATO countries would result in a response that is never worth risking or testing - he continued.

20:54

Szefernaker After the First Meeting of Nawrocki's Campaign Staff:

We Won’t Skip a Single Day.
- We have had our first staff meeting. Tomorrow, we start from the very morning. We won’t skip a single day of this campaign. We are fighting – Paweł Szefernaker wrote on platform X.

20:58

Tusk:

Ukraine will not block exhumations of Volhynia massacre victims
- Ukraine will not block exhumations of the victims of the Volhynia massacre. Our ministers are starting to work on the specifics - informed Prime Minister Donald Tusk. - I hope that this time there will be no more obstacles - he stated. As he added: - This is the key to full reconciliation of our nations, so necessary at this dramatic moment in our shared history.

21:12

Czarnek on Nawrocki:

A Righteous and Just Candidate.

- I have the honor of knowing Karol Nawrocki for a long time and cooperating with him, as a minister with the President of the IPN. We also met on this path before the candidate was announced, and these were truly very good meetings and very good conversations. He is an extremely righteous man, he is an extremely just man, he is an extremely calm man with an extraordinary backbone, and at the same time a man who has a vision, that Polish gene – stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program “Gość Dzisiaj” on TV Republika.

21:18

Czarnek:

I am among others in Nawrocki's election staff

- The most important thing, besides the fact that it is Karol Nawrocki, which is fundamental, is that this candidate is already here, and we've seen it over these two days since Karol Nawrocki was announced as a civic candidate, supported by PiS, that enthusiasm within our party ranks and among sympathizers is growing hour by hour – said Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika.

- Today, the election staff met for the first time; it is not yet fully complete. Well, for example, I [am in it], but primarily Mr. Paweł Szefernaker is in it, who is the head of the staff, which I am extremely pleased about, as I have expressed in interviews before. I guarantee, Paweł Szefernaker will ensure truly very organized and disciplined work – he continued.

21:19

Czarnek on Poll Results:

We are in a better situation in every respect than in 2014.

- In every respect, we are in a better situation than we and Andrzej Duda were in 2014. These poll figures are extremely important, but other things are even more so, namely that President Andrzej Duda's start was moderately optimistic – said Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika.

- This huge commitment resulted in Andrzej Duda achieving increasingly better poll results within a few months, and in the end, he won the first round and then decisively defeated President Komorowski in the second round. Today, the situation is better because, firstly, Karol Nawrocki, who was considered a person without much recognition, is already at the very start, so now it is evident that the poll results are extremely optimistic – he continued.

21:20

Czarnek announces citizen protest on December 1st:

I encourage you to participate.

- Allegedly, there are numerous letters, appeals, and statements from parents at the Ministry of National Education who disagree with these kinds of things. I encourage you once again to support these social movements, organizations, which are organizing this big protest on December 1st at 12 PM on Castle Square in Warsaw, to say “no” – stated Przemysław Czarnek on TV Republika.

Nawrocki's Workout Garners 1.5 Million Views on X

- After the workout, I'm moving on - Karol Nawrocki wrote on social media this morning, publishing a recording. After several hours, the video has 1.5 million views on the X platform.
