At 11:00 in Warsaw, the Civic Platform's National Council will convene, during which the results of the Civic Coalition (KO) primaries will be announced.

- We are responsible people, today we are responsible for the fate of our homeland. You have taken on a great burden, and you have met it. Your emotions accompanied this entire process, the emotions of all of us. I must say that leaders of some other parties have asked me in recent days if they could also vote - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the National Council of PO.

- We all know this is the first step, that no one will give our candidate anything, nothing for free. We will have to fight for every vote, to convince every Polish woman, every Polish man until the last day of the election - he continued.

- In the KO primaries for the candidate for the President of the Republic of Poland in next year's presidential elections, over 22,126 votes were cast. The winner obtained 74.75% of the votes, the defeated candidate received 25.25% of the votes. President Rafał Trzaskowski has become the KO candidate in the presidential elections - Tusk said.

- In PiS, one vote will decide; in our party, 22,000 people decided. In PiS, one vote matters; in our party, every vote counts. And that is precisely how we differ – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the National Council of Civic Platform.

- We decided on primaries because we are a democratic party, a seriously democratic one. Since 2020, I have felt this responsibility because you have supported me all this time. Radek Sikorski announced his candidacy, and that's very good, because it strengthened us – he continued.

- My dear friends, first and foremost, I wanted to thank you warmly. Huge, huge thanks to all of you; these applauses are for you – he said.

Security will be the most important topic of these elections. Anne Applebaum sent me this book a few weeks before the primaries began. It is a class in itself, and for that I wanted to sincerely thank her and thank Radek Sikorski – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the National Council of Civic Platform (PO).
