Kosiniak-Kamysz:
Judge Szmydt is a traitor, acting to the detriment of the Polish state
- He is a traitor [Judge Szmydt]. And this can be said, looking at what he is doing. Because if someone goes to a country that does not enjoy a reputation as the brightest democracy in the world, goes there and says that Poland's actions with the USA, everything we do here, not only us, but also our predecessors, meaning de facto the entire political sphere, the vast majority of it, excluding some extremes, how it cooperates, that it chooses the USA as a strategic partner, and the EU as a center of security and development. And someone comes forward and is used by Belarusian and Russian services, gives interviews, they are acting to the detriment of the Polish state, which is why certain charges have been brought - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Radio Zet.

Kierwiński:
The Last Eight Years of PiS Were a Period of Dismantling the Special Services
- For me, the matter is clear regarding the functioning of the state, meaning that the last eight years of PiS, and I have spoken about this many times and now we have confirmation, was a period of dismantling the special services. It was a period of weakening state security, because I cannot imagine that on one hand, a person like Szmydt could cooperate with a foreign intelligence service, and on the other hand, could be lauded by important PiS politicians - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TOK FM.
08:31
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
I am in favour of excluding politically involved individuals from the commission investigating Russian influence
- I am in favour of excluding individuals involved in politics, not just politicians, but anyone involved in politics, from the [commission investigating Russian influence]. This is possible, and we have already formed such a team to investigate, for instance, the activities of Mr. Macierewicz's commission. There is no one associated with politics, no one embroiled, one might say, in politics. They are all independent experts - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Radio Zet.
08:32
Kierwiński:
Szmydt is a traitor. Services will determine the scale of losses
- Tomasz Szmydt is a traitor (...) I cannot speak about what was discussed at the college, because it was of the highest level, but let the Polish services do their work; they will certainly determine all dangers and the scale of losses, as well as when this practice began - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TOK FM.

08:39
- If you ask me about Minister Siemoniak's competences, he is a well-prepared individual for the most important state functions and a person who knows the pragmatics of the services and government administration, so he is certainly a qualified person - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TOK FM.

It's election campaign season, every party is strategically fielding their best players
- It's election campaign season, every party is strategically fielding their best male and female candidates, because we want truly very strong and capable individuals to enter the European Parliament. For a very simple reason, this term in the European Parliament will be truly, I say this completely seriously, very important. We see what is happening in the world, we see what is happening in Europe, and we need strong individuals in the European Parliament who will have a strong voice for Polish women, for Polish men, and for Poland's security within the EU – stated Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".
09:52
Scheuring-Wielgus:
I don't know who will be the new Minister of Culture, I would be satisfied if it were Wyrobiec
- This is Donald Tusk's and PO politicians' decision. I would be satisfied if it were Andrzej Wyrobiec, the current deputy minister from PO. We'll see what happens. I myself am curious who the minister will be. So, among others, [he is a candidate for Minister of Culture] - said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus on Polsat News.
09:52
Scheuring-Wielgus:
The Entire Left is Leaning Towards Supporting the CPK
– In a coalition, there are always some disputes and discussions, and you mentioned, for example, the CPK, and here we had different opinions, and discussions on this topic are ongoing all the time. At our last club meeting, which we had this Tuesday, we also discussed this, and we are rather leaning towards supporting this project – stated Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus on Polsat News.
– We had a very heated discussion, and incidentally, not the first one, about the CPK. We are reading all the analyses that come to us, we talk to people, not only those who live in these areas but also specialists who deal with this, and we are beginning to lean towards supporting this project as much as possible – she continued.

Scheuring-Wielgus:
It would be good if Duda started cooperating with Bodnar
- Everything is possible, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for [cooperation between the government and the president]. It would be good if President Andrzej Duda finally stepped out of his comfort zone, the party comfort zone he's still stuck in, and started cooperating with Minister Adam Bodnar, who is demonstrating that he is a very conciliatory person with whom an agreement can be reached – said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus on Polsat News.

We're not debating whether to build a high-speed rail or a new domestic airport, but how to build them
- What are the first conclusions from the audits? Even today, we see the necessity of making this program more realistic. Of course, we need to examine and account for any irregularities. These irregularities have been pointed out in these documents; they are currently undergoing analysis and preparation for evaluation to determine if they warrant reporting to the prosecutor's office. But most importantly, it's clearly visible how unrealistic the adopted timelines, which the Member of Parliament mentioned, were, and how inadequate the project's costs were estimated. We are currently at the stage of thorough analysis of the investment plan, its comprehensive assessment, and identification of elements that have substantive and economic justification - stated Maciej Lasek in the Sejm.
- Member of Parliament, we are not debating today whether to build a high-speed rail or a new domestic airport, because we need new transport infrastructure, but we are discussing how to build them, and this is related to making this project more realistic and optimizing it - he added.

Motion Filed to Bring Świrski Before the State Tribunal
- Literally today, a motion has been filed with Parliament, currently being signed by MPs from Civic Coalition and the October 15 coalition, to bring Mr. Maciej Świrski, the head of the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT), before the State Tribunal. In reality, these charges boil down to three fundamental issues: the absolute violation of laws and statutes by withholding funds due to public media. It is not within the KRRiT's or Mr. Świrski's purview to assess who governs or doesn't govern public media; it is obligated to provide funding for public media, and failure to do so constitutes a violation of the law. The second issue is Mr. Świrski's policy towards non-state, private media, which, frankly speaking, were treated as hostile by PiS. I will just recall the entire history of TVN, the fines imposed on TOK FM; this was a blatant violation of impartiality and a procedural overreach. And the third matter is the omission of statistical activities, which Mr. Świrski is obliged to perform. The signature-gathering process is ongoing, and this motion will be processed in the Sejm. I want to state immediately that the actual justification, already prepared for the State Tribunal, is a 50-page indictment against this gentleman, who never hid and spoke of himself as a PiS Taliban – stated Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz at a press briefing.

Motion to lift judge Szmydt's immunity to provide grounds for issuing an arrest warrant
- Yesterday evening, late in the evening, the National Prosecutor's Office filed a motion to lift the immunity of Tomasz Szmydt, as well as to consent to the application of pre-trial detention and arrest. Of course, regarding the arrest, no one expects Polish services to do anything on the territory of Belarus now, but the intention is to provide grounds for a subsequent arrest warrant and also an Interpol notice, to also restrict his movement possibilities - stated Adam Bodnar in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.
- As far as I know, the disciplinary court operating at the Supreme Administrative Court is to deal with this motion today - he added.
13:17
Szydło:
We are asking today if the Polish government has truly agreed to the supremacy of European law over Polish law
- Today, on Europe Day, one fundamental question must be asked of Prime Minister Tusk and his government. The European Commission has announced that it is suspending the so-called rule of law political procedure because, in its opinion, Poland already meets its expectations. Among the conditions that the Commission believes have been met, and to which the Polish government has committed, is, among others, the principle of the supremacy of European law over Polish law. Therefore, we are asking today if the Polish government has truly agreed to the supremacy of European law over Polish law - stated Beata Szydło at a PiS press conference.
13:22
Szydło:
Polish Government Ministers, the Prime Minister, are Violating the Constitution and Agreeing with the EC to Abolish the Political Rule of Law Principle
- We have a situation where ministers of the Polish government, the Polish prime minister, are violating the constitution and agreeing with the European Commission to have it abolish the political rule of law principle, which it has initiated against Poland completely without basis, selling out Polish interests. It must be clearly heard: what else have you committed to? Have you committed to accepting illegal immigrants? Have you committed to implementing the Green Deal? This harmful ideological project that is killing the European economy, agriculture, and above all, reaches into the pockets of citizens, draining them. This ideology must be rejected; we say this very clearly - stated Beata Szydło at a PiS press conference.
13:35
Morawiecki:
"We Were Promised a Smiling Poland, Instead We're Being Laughed in the Face"
- First and foremost, the most important issue for Poles. Stop the price hikes, stop the price hikes from July. We have prepared such a project that will be an act of citizen's initiative. It must be a citizen's initiative so that Marshal Hołownia cannot again hide this project, this bill, in his famous freezer, where, incidentally, many of our good projects already are. We were promised a smiling Poland, and instead, we are being laughed in the face. We see this every day, they said: the price hikes won't be more than 30 PLN. Meanwhile, it is already very clear, even from the forecasts that Poles are receiving, that the price hikes will be at least 30% - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in the Sejm.
13:35
Morawiecki:
We're Heading Across Poland to Collect Signatures for the "Stop Price Hikes from July" Citizen Initiative
- We prepared draft legislation, but it is being ignored. That is why we are heading across Poland, we are embarking on a tour with our initiative, for which I must give a nod of recognition to my former minister, Waldemar Buda; it was his idea, Minister Buda's idea, to start collecting signatures for the citizen initiative "Stop Price Hikes from July." From July, there will be price increases for electricity, gas, and heating energy - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in the Sejm.

The Senate has passed an amendment to the Act on the National Council of the Judiciary with revisions. 58 senators voted in favor, while 30 voted against (all from PiS). No one abstained, and 11 senators did not participate in the vote. One of the amendments previously adopted by the Senate committees concerned the lifting of the ban on so-called 'neo-judges' running for election to the new National Council of the Judiciary (KRS).
The act provides for the cessation of activity in the KRS of current members elected by the Sejm from among judges. The amendment establishes new rules for nominating candidates and conducting elections for the seats in the council designated for judges.

We Need to Check Who Invited Judge Szmydt to Parliament. For a Long Time, He Was a Civic Platform Celebrity
- Regarding Judge Szmydt, the first thing we need to do is check on whose invitation he came here, to the Sejm. It's worth checking, looking in the visitor log, who invited him, because I have information that since he was celebrated by Mr. Szczerba and Ms. Gasiuk-Pihowicz, it seems he was a celebrity of Civic Platform and today's ruling team for a long time - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in the Sejm.
13:48
Morawiecki:
Judge Szmydt was a celebrity for all media that fawned over Tusk and Civic Platform
- Mr. Szmydt, if I recall correctly, I don't watch your station much, but I've heard he was a very frequent guest on TVN, meaning Judge Szmydt was unfortunately a celebrity for all those media that fawned over Donald Tusk and Civic Platform - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in the Sejm.

We are today in a situation where the darkest speculations, about whose interests a part of this party sitting here, led by Mr. Macierewicz, serves, today smiling, I will get to you in a moment, Mr. Szmydt is perhaps only an illustration, and not the most important one, of what has been happening over these years in the relationship between Eastern services - Russian political interests and the authorities of PiS and the ZP party - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the Sejm.
17:33
Tusk:

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
We Must Resist Russian Agents; This is Truly the Most Important Goal
- I think the most important thing is that we truly realize it. Russia has a very extensive and continuously expanding anti-Union, anti-Polish, anti-democratic network of agents, operating with increasing intensity throughout united Europe, so that we all quarrel with each other. Because divided, we are easier prey. We would be, because currently we are not, we are defending ourselves, but we would be easier prey for Russian destructive actions. This is truly the most important goal: to resist this network of agents, so that people like Agent Szmydt do not operate in Poland, do not operate in the EU, and so that all people who facilitated this are brought to justice – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in the program ,,Fakty po faktach” on TVN24.
20:25
- There's a big question about the airport, whether we need a large airport, and this is also a cargo airport, or whether we need regional airports instead. I believe this truly needs to be left to specialists for a very substantive review. I don't want to rush to simple judgments one way or the other, but this decision must be made quickly – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24.
20:40
- He [the Prime Minister] meant those who are agents or enabled the development of Russian agency in Poland in recent years. This includes, among others, PiS politicians, who, through either conscious action, negligence, or ill will, led to the situation where Russian agency in Poland developed incredibly - stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.
21:06
Pawlak:
Emotions ran high in the Sejm today, I'm not surprised the Prime Minister spoke so expressively
- The rhetoric in the Sejm is completely different, while in the Senate, politics appears more matter-of-fact. Emotions ran very high in the Sejm today, and I'm not surprised that the Prime Minister spoke so expressively. However, it is crucial at this moment for state structures to begin systematically and very consistently working on these types of threats. The affair with Judge Szmydt revealed that agent provocateur actions need to be taken very seriously today - stated Waldemar Pawlak in an interview with Monika Olejnik on the program "Kropka nad I".

If I Were Malicious, I'd Say PiS MPs Announce Where They're Going Because Their Colleague is Already There
- If I were malicious, I'd say that PiS MPs are announcing where they intend to go because their colleague is already there. Judge Szmydt, a political colleague of PiS MPs, but of course, these shouts are only meant to mask their nervousness, and it is a fact that they are aware that these connections were very serious, they are aware that Russian services have infiltrated practically the highest levels of power - stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.
21:18
Grabiec:
Tusk Meets with Farmers Very Often
- The Prime Minister meets with farmers very often, he has spent many hours in recent weeks. This is, by the way, an exceptional occurrence; previous PiS prime ministers did not meet with farmers, Prime Minister Tusk does meet with them - stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.
21:20
- I think it's some kind of political happening related to the demonstration planned by PiS for tomorrow and perhaps to the European elections. It's known that campaigning means people look for ways to amplify their political stance in various ways - stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.
21:25
- I don't want to name names, but it has happened that Prime Minister Tusk has also reached for ministers from outside the world of politics or the Sejm. We will see what the Prime Minister's decisions will be, I am curious myself - stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.
