Wednesday's Political Agenda: Security Services Committee, Parliament Debates "Active Parent" Bill and Aid for Ukrainian Citizens, Senate Session Begins

- I have convened a meeting of the Committee for Special Services for Wednesday. The topic will be alleged Russian and Belarusian influence within the Polish government apparatus in previous years - Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Twitter.

At 9:30 AM, a press conference will be held by Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, and at 10:50 AM, a briefing by Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.

At 10:00 AM, the three-day session of the Sejm will commence. The beginning is scheduled for the swearing-in of MPs Dominik Jaśkowiec and Paweł Masełko. Following this, votes will be held, and at 10:15 AM, the first reading of the government's draft amendment to the Value Added Tax Act will take place – concerning the postponement of the implementation deadline for the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) from July 1, 2024, to February 1, 2026.

At 12:00 PM, the first reading of the government's draft amendment to the act on assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict in the territory of that state is planned.

At 1:30 PM, votes will be held in the Sejm, including those concerning the parliamentary draft bill to amend certain acts to repair corporate governance in companies with State Treasury participation and the citizens' draft bill on the protection of property in the Republic of Poland against claims concerning ownerless property. At 1:45 PM, a committee report on the government's draft amendment to the National Revenue Administration Act is scheduled.

At 3:30 PM, a committee report on the government's draft amendment to the Social Insurance System Act will begin. At 5:00 PM, the first reading of the government's draft act on supporting parents in professional activity and child-rearing – the "Active Parent" program – is planned, and at 7:00 PM, the first reading of the draft amendments to the Electoral Code.

At 11:00 AM, the Senate will convene. The two-day session agenda includes work on the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) act, as well as the public annual report of the Prosecutor General on the total number of individuals for whom a request for authorization of control and recording of conversations or a request for authorization of operational control has been submitted.

Also at 11:00 AM, a press conference will be held by Beata Szydło and Henryk Kowalczyk. Today also marks the start of the two-day May session of the Monetary Policy Council.

Paprocka:

On May 3rd, Bodnar Was Our Guest. There Was a Pleasant Conversation, but Also a Firm Stance on the KRS Bill
- One point is absolutely crucial, namely the issue of differentiating the status of judges who could be elected to the KRS. There cannot be such solutions; they are simply unconstitutional, to exclude a group of judges solely based on the date of their nomination, i.e., from 2018 onwards - said Małgorzata Paprocka in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti". - There was a pleasant conversation, but also a firm stance, during the events of the third of May. [...] The [Minister of Justice] was our guest, however, the President's position here is clear. This is not a matter of negotiation; it is a matter of principles and the bill's compliance with the constitution - she continued.

08:31

Paprocka on Article 7 Procedure: If the Only Significant Change for the EC Was a Change of Power in Poland, Then It's Clear What a Farce It Was
- It's hard to be happy about a tool [the Article 7 procedure] that was used absolutely politically. If no concrete changes in the law occur, and the only change, as I understand it, significant from the perspective of the [European] Commission was a change in, as lawyers nicely put it, officeholders, meaning, in plain language, a change of power in Poland, then it's clear what a farce it was - said Małgorzata Paprocka in "Graffiti" on Polsat News. - In living memory, there have been no treaty changes recently, no regulatory changes, nor have the arrangements regarding the KPO [National Reconstruction Plan] and milestones changed. This is an absolute crowbar and a trick. I think rather that today's authorities should stand before the citizens and apologize for blocking KPO funds for two years - she continued. - If today mere visits and conversations are sufficient, then I joke that there is no legal category of 'climate and atmosphere change' in the European treaties - she added.

08:32

Bielan:

Joński's Investigative Committee Has Become a Pre-Election Circus. It's All About Promoting a Few People in the EP Elections

- I know, I saw it yesterday, that Mr. Joński's investigative committee has already become some sort of pre-election circus. It's now all about promoting a few people in the upcoming EP elections. If you check how long previous investigative committees in the Polish parliament worked, none worked for less than 2 years, and the average time for such work was 2.5 years. Now suddenly, within 6 months, everyone is supposed to manage because Mr. Joński decided to run for the EP in June – stated Adam Bielan on RMF24.

08:39

Paprocka on the Silesian Language Act: We are observing the legislative process and the arguments of linguists and experts
- We are at the legislative process stage, so it's not yet time to announce a decision. We will see. The [Silesian language] act will now go to the Senate. Of course, we are observing the legislative process closely, but also the arguments of linguists and experts who are commenting on this matter – Małgorzata Paprocka said on Polsat News's "Graffiti" program.

08:43

Bielan:

Where Are the Electoral Promises PO Made in the Last Election?

- According to the old Roman principle, if you cannot give people bread, you must give them circuses. Where are the electoral promises that PO ran on in the last election? Where is the tax-free allowance of 60,000 zlotys? Just yesterday, the Multiannual Financial Plan was published, which assumes that PO does not intend to lower taxes by introducing this allowance throughout their term - stated Adam Bielan on RMF24.

08:46

Żukowska on Government Reconstruction: I Think We Can Expect Fewer Deputy Ministers
- No [I am not going into government]. I think that [after the government reconstruction] the government can be slimmed down to some extent, that there will certainly be fewer deputy ministers in various departments. [...] For us, the priority is certainly the deputy minister of infrastructure and development, and here I think that a worthy successor to Mr. Minister Kukucki, who was elected by voters as the mayor of Włocławek, will be a person indicated by us. It will be really important for us not to orphan the housing project that we have submitted - said Anna Maria Żukowska in "Sygnały Dnia" on PR1.

08:47

Wójcik:

Ziobro Didn't Know Szmydt, I Know Because I Spoke to Him About It

- Given that [he was promoted during Ziobro's tenure at the ministry], does that entitle someone to say that Zbigniew Ziobro knew such a judge, or didn't know him? Because I know, I spoke to him about this topic, he didn't know this judge – stated Michał Wójcik on the program "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:47

Wójcik:

We Expect Explanations from Tusk and Siemoniak Regarding Judge Szmydt; This Shows Services are Operating Very Poorly

- We expect Mr. Donald Tusk, Mr. Bodnar, and Mr. Siemoniak to explain this situation in detail, because it is very important, as it shows, unfortunately I say this with regret, that our services are operating very poorly, that we cannot be protected. Donald Tusk is responsible for this, and shifting responsibility onto Zbigniew Ziobro is an unbelievable distortion of the picture – said Michał Wójcik on TVN24.

08:47

Wójcik:

The Marshal in Lesser Poland Will Be from PiS; This Situation is Only Postponed

- I want to say that the marshal [in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship] will be from PiS, I have no doubts about that. These are various situations that happen, this situation is only postponed in time, and PiS will govern, which has a majority in this regional assembly. Perhaps the reason is that [Kmita] is a parliamentarian and the councillors perhaps concluded that they would prefer someone from among the councillors. I have served in local government three times, and you know, at the provincial self-government level, people sometimes think that way. I wouldn't draw far-reaching conclusions – stated Michał Wójcik on TVN24.

08:48

Paprocka:

The Prime Minister Encouraged Courage Regarding the Silesian Language Act. Mr. Prime Minister, You Should Also Be Brave – So Many Matters to Address, Societal Expectations
- The Prime Minister encouraged courage here yesterday. So I think: Mr. Prime Minister, please, you should also be brave. So many matters to address, such societal expectations regarding investments, regarding CPK, regarding the 'babciowe' (granny's bonus), regarding various other promises you made. That also, Mr. Prime Minister, requires a lot of courage and perseverance - said Małgorzata Paprocka in "Graffiti" on Polsat News, referring to Donald Tusk's words yesterday concerning the Silesian Language Act.

08:50

Bielan:

Tusk Promoted a Policy of Reset, an Approach to Russia as It Is

- In recent years, the only politician in Poland written about by Russian media as 'our man, meaning the Russian man in Warsaw,' was Donald Tusk. This was when Tusk traveled to Moscow and promoted a policy of reset, an approach to Russia as it is, as he said, meaning Putin's Russia. This was already after the invasion of Georgia - stated Adam Bielan on RMF24.

08:54

Żukowska on Government Weaknesses: We Pass Too Few Laws, Perhaps This Was Because We Didn't Want to Act Like PiS
- I see that we are passing too few laws, I see that this Sejm has indeed picked up speed a bit, perhaps this was simply due to the legislative process itself, because we didn't want to do it like PiS, meaning instead of government projects, parliamentary insertions and such a 'pendolino' through committees, i.e., committee in the morning, amendments in the evening, second reading the very next morning, and this required time, so I think there is also a social expectation that laws should come out of the Sejm - said Anna Maria Żukowska in PR1, when asked about the government's weaknesses.

08:58

Siewiera:

Szmydt's Activities Clearly Show a Political Agenda Serving Russia

- It is clearly visible from Tomasz Szmydt's activities that they have a political character serving Russia. I think this scenario was considered in the Kremlin's propaganda workshops, and I believe it is deeply underestimated in the Polish political debate. The entire political debate today focuses on who is to blame for this happening or what information was passed to foreign services - stated Jacek Siewiera in the 'Morning Conversation' on RMF FM.

09:06

Żukowska:

Liberum Veto Historically Harmed Poland, and We See a Similar Situation in the EU
- Liberum veto historically harmed Poland, and here [in the EU] we also have a similar situation where one country, like Hungary, because we've had quite a few examples of this already, is able to block absolutely all changes that the majority of other European states want. And we believe that it is not a good solution for one country, which is now increasingly tied to Russia, to Putin, a country where forces also sympathetic to Russia have won, i.e. Slovakia, to be able to block changes for other countries, changes that, for example, concern energy, or other solutions, or support for Ukraine, this is not good in our opinion – said Anna Maria Żukowska on PR1.

09:08

Bielan:

It's Obvious There Are Many Spies in a Country Like Poland

- It is obvious that a country as important to Russia, for its expansion to the West, as Poland must be a place where Russians are very active, so there are many such spies. I hope that most of them are somehow monitored by our counterintelligence. It is obvious that it is impossible to find all such spies, but systemic changes need to be considered - stated Adam Bielan on RMF24.

09:16

Siewiera:

If We Want to Counter Threats, Then Funding for Services is Indeed Needed
- If we want to counter such threats, then funding for services, equipping them with hardware, increased recruitment into the services along with increased capabilities, training, and a greater capacity for tasking by political actors is indeed needed - stated Jacek Siewiera in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

10:01

Hołownia:

Hennig-Kloska Should Remain in Government, Continue Her Work

- My opinion on this matter is clear. Paulina Hennig-Kloska is a good minister, a capable minister, and she is doing everything possible within the budget the government has and the decisions the government makes to keep energy prices at the lowest possible level, with support for the most vulnerable consumers. She will talk about this during the debate on the energy voucher, and likely also during the debate on the motion of no confidence. Minister Hennig-Kloska should remain in government and continue her work - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press briefing.

10:07

Hołownia:

The Time Has Come to Shift to Politics of Investment; Reckoning is Necessary, But Not Enough
We should be saying today that we are inviting Poles not just to settle accounts with PiS, but to join a common adventure, a hope, a vision that we are strongly moving forward with. I hope this will be our message, one that we all agree on and move forward together with, because Poles need someone to guide them somewhere, to a good place, not just to point out that the last 8 years were bad. I hope that the investigation committees will quickly finish their work; we are waiting for their reports. They are working, of course, but they cannot work indefinitely. We need this to be settled, closed, with referrals to the prosecutor if necessary, and then we move on. I absolutely agree with this; the time has come to shift to politics of investment and vision, not just to focus solely on reckonings. Reckonings are necessary, but they are not enough – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.

10:09

Hołownia:

I told Tusk our expectation is for all our ministers working in the government to continue their mission
- I hear a great deal about a government reconstruction, but that's from you [journalists], while internally I haven't had any conversation with the Prime Minister that would in any way suggest Minister Hennig-Kloska would lose her position. On the contrary, I told the Prime Minister that our expectation, as Poland 2050, is for all our ministers working in the government to be able to continue their mission, because we see no grounds for them to interrupt it - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press briefing.

10:17

Hołownia:

I Don't Want Another 'Chair War' on Foreign Policy. An Agreement Between Both Sides Should Be Reached as Soon as Possible

- I believe that an agreement between both sides should be reached as soon as possible, and the President should be aware that his role in this, in my assessment and according to Polish regulations, is very important, but it is advisory, consultative, open to cooperation, and if possible, joint decision-making. However, I very much, and I suspect not only I, do not want squabbles and a 'chair war' at the top, because we have experienced such things in Polish history before, and they certainly did not serve Poland, its interests, or its image well – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

10:18

Morawiecki Publishes Video:

I Propose That Key State Investments Be Excluded from Party Disputes.
- I say "yes" to the development of Poland. I say "no" to abandoning strategic projects for Poland just because they were initiated by predecessors from a different political option. I propose that key state investments be excluded from party disputes, because otherwise we will not develop. As a political class, we must speak with one voice on matters such as energy, armaments, or key infrastructure investments - said Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on social media. - The ruling coalition is doing everything to bury the most important project for Poland's future: the Central Communication Port (CPK). They are disseminating many lies in the process, manipulating public opinion. To prevent such things from happening in the future, we must introduce a change in the thinking of politicians. I propose that the management boards of companies like CPK be inter-term, and that their supervision be expanded to include opposition representatives. I assume that such a move cannot be expected from the ruling party, which is why we will introduce it when we return to power - he continued.

10:51

Hennig-Kloska to PiS: All you could manage were 'Ostrołęka Minus'-type projects, on which you burned billions of zlotys

- All you could manage were 'Ostrołęka Minus'-type projects, on which you burned billions of zlotys, and you, Mr. Deputy Buda, personally bear responsibility for the fact that money from the KPO, including for improving the situation in Polish energy, did not flow into Poland for two years. You personally were responsible for this in the ministry. Calm down, tomorrow we have the whole day, we will talk about energy price increases. We are explaining to Poles that we will be cleaning up the mess you made - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska in the Sejm.

11:01

Kidawa-Błońska:

I appeal to the President to quickly sign the Silesian Language Act once it passes the Senate
- This morning, the joint committees on culture, education, and local government adopted the act on the Silesian language as a regional language. The project was adopted without amendments. From this place, I warmly appeal to Mr. President that when this act leaves the Senate, he signs it very quickly, because Poles, the inhabitants of Silesia, are waiting for this. [...] One should not be afraid of either language or culture, Mr. President - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference.

11:08

Kidawa-Błońska:

We Want to Pass an KRS Law Signed by the President, but It Cannot Be a Compromise
- We must fix this law, so we will create a law that will be a strong foundation for the rule of law in our country, a law that will be adopted. Of course, discussions are ongoing with Minister Bodnar, and we want to create a law that will be signed by the President, but it cannot be a compromise law; it truly must fix the law in our country - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference, when asked about the Senate potentially amending the KRS law in a direction favored by the President.

13:58

Hołownia on CPK: We Should Give This Investment a Chance, If It's Well Prepared and Executed
- As you know, I was an ardent opponent of building the CPK. I considered it a megalomaniacal project and another opportunity to siphon off money and appoint cronies and relatives. Today, when I see how this project could be carried out, i.e., without those absurd spokes that tore people's homes apart, that destroyed the urban fabric, that passed through the middle of botanical gardens, that simply destroyed what we have collectively built, it can be done without stuffing hands with money. We can consider how to implement it in a way that it truly serves the Polish economy - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference. - Also, when I see how important it is aspirationally for many Poles that we have such an airport, I am revising my view and believe that we should give this investment a chance, if it is well prepared and well executed - he continued.

14:06

Tusk on Judge Szmydt: His Actions Bear the Hallmarks of Treason, Requiring Extraordinary Measures

I have appealed to the Minister of Justice, with this expectation, there is no time for requests, to jointly with the relevant bodies, i.e., the disciplinary court, and if necessary the Supreme Court, to immediately, as quickly as possible, revoke this immunity [of Judge Szmydt]. We are talking about a person whose actions bear the hallmarks of treason, and therefore extraordinary, in terms of speed, measures are needed here. On Friday, we will continue to discuss and formulate conclusions regarding actions for the coming days and weeks — stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

14:06

Tusk Announces Possibility of Resuming Work on Russian Influence Commission After Law Amendment

- The issue of resuming work or establishing a suitable body that would more effectively investigate Russian influence on Polish politics is once again on the agenda. As you know, we have this commission, but there were constitutional reservations regarding its operation. I have asked Minister Siemoniak, together with other members of the college for services, to prepare a recommendation on how to amend and improve the law so that the commission for investigating influence can be established anew as quickly as possible - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

14:19

Tusk:

Government Reshuffle is Ready

- On May 10th, which is Friday, I will accept the resignations of four ministers. The [government] reshuffle is ready. Today I was in contact with President Duda and the Presidential Chancellery. On Friday, I will also announce the names of the new ministers, but the appointments, the ceremony at the Presidential Palace, will be later due to the President's travels, so it will be next week - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

14:54

Bielan:

We Remember Tusk's Government's Unfulfilled Promises. We Are Going to the EP, Among Other Things, to Block Unfavorable Solutions for Our Country

- We remember the unfulfilled promises of Donald Tusk's government. He came to power promising tax cuts, an increase in the tax-free allowance to 60,000 PLN. This would mean that approximately 360 PLN per month would remain in every Pole's wallet; none of that has materialized. Instead, there are distractions and accusations against the opposition. We are going to the European Parliament, among other things, to block unfavorable solutions for our country, such as the Green Deal or the Migration Pact. Once again, we thank the Prime Minister very warmly for coming here and for meeting with the farmers - stated Adam Bielan at a press conference.

14:57

Szydło:

Farmers Told Us There's Unfortunately No Response from the Polish Government Currently

- Here in Winnica, we spoke with farmers about what is currently most important, paramount, and above all, about the future of agriculture. They told us about their problems resulting from the Green Deal. They told us that unfortunately, there is currently no response from the Polish government, that there is no dialogue, no conversation, no one from the government wants to talk to the farmers. We also talked about gas and electricity bills, everything that affects every resident. People are receiving forecasts of how much they will pay in the coming months. It should be noted that from July 1st, after the elections of course, these prices will be liberalized - stated Beata Szydło at a press conference.

16:20

Morawiecki:

Electricity and Gas Bills Crippling Millions of Poles, While Government Aims to Scrap Nuclear Power Project. Saboteurs
- New electricity and gas bills are crippling millions of Poles, who are trembling over their household budgets. At the same time, the government wants to scrap the nuclear power plant construction project. Saboteurs - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

18:06

Tusk:

Instead of a Second Budapest in Warsaw, They Got an Ordinary Minsk

- It looks like instead of a second Budapest in Warsaw, they ended up with an ordinary Minsk - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Twitter.

18:16

New Civic Platform Ad on Electricity Prices:

We Care About the Household Budgets of Polish Women and Men.
- We are stopping the rise in electricity prices. In the second half of 2024, electricity prices will not increase - assures the narrator in a Civic Platform ad published on social media. - From July, Polish women and men would have paid 739 zlotys for MWh. Thanks to the actions of Donald Tusk's government, the maximum rate for households will be 500 zlotys per MWh. We care about your household budgets - it continues.

19:56

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

PiS Government Failed Regarding Szmydt. A Man with Highly Suspicious Moral Qualities Was Promoted
- For years, and certainly the last few years have been super intense, Russia has been working very aggressively through its agents throughout the EU and NATO countries, including Poland, of course. This is intensifying, that's for sure. I suspect there are unfortunately more such agents like, let's call him, agent Szmydt, because it's hard to even call him a judge – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń". - I like to set politics aside as much as possible in these matters, because here we should be – as much as possible, of course – pro-state, pro-security. I don't have the facts on the table yet, I haven't seen these documents. Definitely regarding Judge Szmydt – yes [the PiS government failed], because such a person with highly suspicious, let's say, moral qualities was promoted – and this is a way to catch someone, colloquially speaking, and turn them into an agent – placing them in a position where they absolutely should not have been – she continued. - This is an absolute priority for the Polish state. PiS, not PiS – Russian agents must be tracked, neutralized, removed. We must be vigilant – she added.

19:59

Terlecki Announces Decisions Regarding Małopolska's Law and Justice Party
Łukasz Kmita has received a nomination from Jarosław Kaczyński to head the Law and Justice party in the Małopolska Voivodeship. The current board has been dismissed – Ryszard Terlecki informed on Twitter.

20:10

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

A Mechanism for Vetting Judges' Access to Classified Information is Necessary
- I believe it is absolutely necessary to introduce some mechanism for vetting judges regarding their access to classified information, especially judges like the agent Szmydt, who have access to this classified information. After all, not all judges are in such positions and adjudicate such cases - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - We need to find a mechanism that, on the one hand, will allow for vetting judges and, on the other hand, will be structured – and this is possible – in a way that preserves judicial independence - she stressed.

20:23

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the KPO Revision: 80% of Amendments Agreed Before Submission, We Have About 2 Months for the Rest
- We submitted this revision [KPO] on April 30th, after a month of very intensive discussions, proceeding from the assumption that it is much more effective to talk with the Commission by preparing amendments, so that the vast majority are already agreed upon at the time of submission. This is what happened - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - I would say that 80% was agreed upon before submission. We have approximately 20% left, for which we have about two months. We want to finalize everything, including the official procedures, by the end of the holidays, so that we can submit the second and third tranches simultaneously at the beginning of September, or perhaps even at the end of August - she continued.

20:30

Siemoniak Asked if Szmydt is a Spy: Everything Points to It
- Everything points to it [that Judge Szmydt is a spy] and the investigation being undertaken by the prosecutor's office concerns precisely Article 130, which is espionage, cooperation with the service of a foreign state, because it has all the hallmarks of such an action. Appearing in Belarusian and Russian media, attacking Poland, attacking the authorities of the Republic of Poland is precisely also this type of action. We have no doubts, whatever events may have occurred here previously, that Mr. Szmydt is in the service of a foreign state, foreign services - said Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Monika Olejnik on "Kropka nad i" TVN24.

20:36

Siemoniak:

Szmydt is a traitor, he will be convicted by a court sooner or later
- He [Judge Szmydt] is a traitor, he is a traitor to the Republic of Poland, for this he will undoubtedly face consequences, he will be convicted by a court sooner or later, I have no doubts about that, and he says what he is paid for, what they expect from him, this has no value here, I believe, in Poland and in the West, we know who we are dealing with - said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24.

20:43

Siemoniak:

Services Are Devastated and Astonishingly Toothless Regarding Individuals Connected to PiS
- No, they are devastated and astonishingly toothless regarding individuals connected to PiS - said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24, when asked about the condition of Polish services, whether they are helpless. - We also discussed today the somewhat forgotten email scandal, after all, what a big fuss [...] an extraordinary Sejm session, talking about "Russian, Belarusian services" and it led nowhere, because the ministers involved, Dworczyk, Prime Minister Morawiecki, were tangled up in it, the matter was swept under the rug, we will return to it. And the same goes for Szmydt, even if President Kaczyński said 100 times that he doesn't know him, and Mr. Ziobro sent 100 tweets that he has nothing to do with him, Szmydt was one of the important figures in the hate-mongering scandal - he continued.

20:50

Siemoniak:

The Commission on Russian Influence is Necessary, But Should Not Be a Political Bludgeon
- Absolutely yes, we also discussed this today, so on Friday there will be a continuation of the college for special services. We need to remove the unconstitutional provisions from the previous version which was adopted as law, and we want to restart its operation because Russian and Belarusian influence is visible to the naked eye. This [Commission on Russian Influence] is necessary, but it should not be political, it should not be a political bludgeon. I myself was the subject of a pseudo-report from this commission, stating that I cannot deal with security, just like Prime Minister Tusk and other individuals. We want the Minister of Justice to oversee its work, and in the coming days we will be working to realize this task assigned by Prime Minister Tusk - said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24.
