Tusk Summarizes First 100 Days and Announces Acceleration:

I Wanted Faster and More.
- Each of us has some flaws, mine is probably impatience. It's no secret to anyone working with me that I always want everything to happen as quickly as possible, without wasting a single moment. For example, the 100 concrete actions - says Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a recording published on social media on Friday - the day marking 100 days since his cabinet was sworn in. - 100 days - I thought: that's a significant amount of time, almost an epoch. And indeed, look how many things have happened, how many matters we have resolved. Although, of course, I wanted faster and more, as always. Governments used to get 100 days of peace, for a good start. We didn't get that. The war and all its consequences, including the mess our farmers were left in by our predecessors, a vetoing president, a chaotic and aggressive opposition, furiously defending its money and impunity - the Prime Minister listed. - But look: accountability has kicked into high gear, television is yours again, the prosecution and courts are free from party dictates. Poland is once again becoming a prominent European player, we are no longer alone. We recovered 600 billion in one month. I know, I wanted it in one day, and they couldn't manage it in two years - he continued. - 800 plus has been paid out, raises for teachers and the public sector have been paid out, inflation is below 3%, and soon - yes, soon: the grandmother's benefit, raises for social workers, lower health contributions for entrepreneurs - he announced. - There won't be enough time to talk about everything. Besides, there's no point in talking, we need to do our work. There will be an acceleration. And women's rights, of course - we can't wait a moment here - he added. Finally, Tusk asks the person holding the camera: Did it record? When he hears yes, the man asks: When is it due? - In 100 days - Tusk says, then adds: I'm kidding, for tomorrow.

Hetman:

One Program Won't Solve Poland's Housing Problem
- One program won't be enough to solve the housing problem in Poland. It needs to be three elements. Support for social construction is already on the table; it's a draft of a bill that we have already prepared, it's in the government's legislative work schedule. This includes support for local governments, for TBS (Social Building Societies), for cooperatives [...] these are subsidies and financial support - said Krzysztof Hetman in an interview with Radomir Wit on TVN24's program "Jeden ja jeden" (One vs. One). - The second element is support for borrowers [...]. This week, I received a draft bill from my colleagues regarding deregulation and simplifications concerning construction, in order to unblock the supply market, as that's our biggest problem. [...] Here, we are preparing the third, most important element - he continued.

08:08

Hetman on the '0% Loan': There are thresholds so not everyone can access it, because 30% of those taking the '2% loan' could have easily taken a regular loan, taking the spot of those in need.
- Not for everyone [0% loan], for those who have three children in their household, as I said, for example, for singles, for couples it's 1.5% and depending on the number of children, we decrease the interest rate. There are safety thresholds so that not everyone can access this loan, because unfortunately, in the case of the [2% loan] program, which was implemented by our predecessors, we have this situation, we already have the data on the table [...] 30% of people could have easily taken a regular bank loan [...] they took the place of those who really needed such support - said Krzysztof Hetman on TVN24.

08:16

Hetman on the 'Pathological Development' Regulation: It Will Come into Effect in This Exact Version in a Few Months to Avoid Halting Ongoing Investments
- A few months later, we are currently conducting analyses on how much to delay the entry into force of this regulation; we have also conducted a great deal of consultations here [...] The Union of Polish Cities issued a position on this matter this week to extend the deadline for this regulation to come into force, because these conditions will change what is currently being designed in many cases - said Krzysztof Hetman on TVN24. - This year, in order not to cause a situation where started investments would have to stop due to the entry into force of this regulation, we are giving these few months to carry out specific procedures and for these constructions to begin. [...] This is precisely the problem that for the last 8 years there has been [...] no predictability, no legislative stability [...]. This regulation will come into force in this exact version in a few months - he continued.

08:19

Hetman on the motion to bring Glapiński before the State Tribunal: This is not a matter of joy or sadness, it is the result of ordinary justice
- This is not a matter of some joy or sadness, because if I had such an emotion, it would mean that it is some emotion associated with some revenge. No, this is simply the result of ordinary justice, which should occur, because most of us have no doubts that President Glapiński should answer before the State Tribunal - said Krzysztof Hetman on TVN24.

08:21

Leszczyna on 100 Days at the Ministry of Health: In Vitro, 'Morning-After' Pill, Perinatal Anesthesia, Prenatal Testing, No Limits on Palliative and Hospice Care, and a Helpline
- This is also what we agreed upon with Poles, that everyone in their respective areas will implement good ideas for Poles. In my Ministry of Health, I have arranged: in vitro from June 1st, the 'morning-after' pill from May 1st, perinatal anesthesia with the entire perinatal package from June 1st, prenatal testing for all women regardless of age from May 1st, additionally expanded. I have removed the limits on hospice and palliative care, which were the most important things. […] A tender has been resolved, a provider selected, and a 24-hour nationwide helpline for children and youth will be available - said Izabela Leszczyna in an interview with Grzegorz Osiecki on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

08:25

Hetman on Abortion: We Will Not Support Left and Civic Coalition Proposals, We Believe a Referendum Should Be Held. We Have Not Changed Our Minds, No One Can Accuse Us.
- No [I will not vote for the Left's proposals on abortion] - Krzysztof Hetman said on TVN24. - [I will support the] Third Way's project, the one we committed to. Also no [I will not support the Civic Coalition's project], I will vote for the solution presented by the Third Way. We believe a referendum should be held in Poland, and we have spoken about this honestly throughout last year, we are speaking honestly after October 15th, we have not changed our minds on this, no one can accuse us in this matter - he continued.

08:33

Hennig-Kloska:

The Left is Behaving Irresponsibly, Unprecedentedly Attacking a Coalition Partner for Campaign Purposes

- I believe the Left is behaving irresponsibly, attacking a coalition partner in an unprecedented way for the purposes of the election campaign. I believe this because their dispute, their attack, is intensifying as the election campaign approaches, whereas we did not enter the government to quarrel. We are doing our work, we are working, and I am urging and encouraging the resolution of disputes and compromises within the coalition, not outside it - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP INFO.

08:35

Leszczyna on Health Contribution Proposals: 'We Found a Compromise Between the Minister of Health and Finance'
- Those who are not entrepreneurs say [...] that entrepreneurs will pay less and that this is unfair. But entrepreneurs also complain, saying: there was supposed to be a return to deducting [health contributions] from before the Polish Deal, and there isn't - said Izabela Leszczyna on PR1's "Sygnały dnia". - If everyone is complaining a little, it means that the Minister Domański and I have found what I called yesterday a compromise between the Minister of Health, who wants to have as much money as possible in the system, and the Minister of Finance, who understands that the lower the levies imposed on entrepreneurs, the better economic development, the greater, paradoxically, the actual budget revenues, and the more can also be added to the healthcare system - she continued.

08:52

Czarnek:

Bodnar is the Greatest Executioner of Justice in the History of the Third Republic and Does Not Apply the Law

- The fact that Bodnar is the greatest executioner of justice in the history of the Third Republic and does not apply the provisions of the law is clear, so why should I comment on the words of someone who came to the ministry precisely to disregard the law. The executioner of justice of the Third Republic - stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Guest of Radio Zet'.

08:54

Czarnek:

Today, There Are No Regulations That Could Lead to Glapiński Being Brought Before the Tribunal of State

- Naturally, of course. In such a way that today there are no regulations that could lead to him being brought before the Tribunal of State (…) If Tusk and his gang wanted to bring President Glapiński before the Tribunal of State today, they would first have to pass some regulations that could govern this, and there would be a legal basis. The motion itself changes nothing – stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program “Gość Radia Zet”.

08:56

Czarnek:

Morawiecki Was Not Particularly Negative Towards the "Ziobrists"
- From what I know, the discussion was very broad. As it happens, Mateusz Morawiecki was not particularly negative towards the "Ziobrists". As is known, there have always been certain frictions between Mateusz Morawiecki and Zbigniew Ziobro. There was always a different point of view from Suwerenna Polska on our tactics in the EU. To some extent, this viewpoint can be understood. This is nothing new – stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

08:57

Siewiera on the Russian Missile: All Prerequisites Were Met to Inform the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces

Minister Tomczyk informed the National Security Bureau (BBN) that he would make such a statement in the Sejm, that he had understandings, that he had declassified a certain part of the information, which allowed him to present new information to the public, and it's good that this happened. The head of the Ministry of National Defence knew about the airspace violation, he held talks and made some arrangements for this purpose, which Minister Tomczyk mentioned, and at the same time, at no stage, and this was emphasized by both Minister Błaszczak and Minister Tomczyk, was it confirmed until the remains were found that we were dealing with a missile. The question arises: did a system flaw or human error lead to a situation where, based on data that was quite easy to interpret, meaning few objects move at such a speed? - stated Jacek Siewiera in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek in Polsat News' "Graffiti".

Even if the head of the Ministry of National Defence was not informed about the missile, because there were no grounds to state – yes, we see a CH101 or some other type of cruise missile, interception or visual identification is necessary, and there was no identification – all prerequisites were still met to inform, first and foremost, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. We are convinced that this was one of those situations where it was necessary to inform the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces about a direct threat. I don't want to decide whether he concealed it, whether it was intentional or unintentional, whether he didn't know, or perhaps he considered that these were indeed issues that the Supreme Audit Office (NIK), which, as far as I know, has prepared a report of quite good content, or other state bodies must clarify - added the head of the BBN.

09:03

Czarnek:

A Coalition with Both Konfederacja and PSL is Possible. There's No Problem

- It is not excluded. Nothing is excluded before the elections, and nothing can be excluded after the elections. We will see how the majority in the provincial assembly shapes up. We have a huge chance, as the election campaign shows, of excellent work by our candidates, to have a majority. A coalition with both Konfederacja and PSL is possible. There's no problem – stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program “Gość Radia Zet”.

09:24

Petru:

Health Contribution Should Be Lump-Sum and Extended to Employees

- We, as TD, Polska2050, believe that it should also be extended to employees, and this system [health contribution] would be better if it were simplified, meaning more lump-sum and less complicated. Then it will not require interpretation and various kinds of searching for solutions that are not obvious – stated Ryszard Petru in RMF FM.

09:24

Petru:

Realizing all 100 pledges is impossible, public finances are in a dire state

In my opinion, for example, we could postpone the entry into force of all reliefs for the beauty industry, or postpone the "grandma's benefit" (babciowe) to lower the contribution. Because this is what employees and entrepreneurs are waiting for the most. We know the discussion about the 100 pledges, etc., what the coalition has managed to implement or not. Entrepreneurs and employees are most eagerly awaiting a contribution reduction, a return to levels similar to those before the "Polish Deal." We should focus on that. It's impossible to implement 100 pledges in 100 days, which I mentioned during the election campaign, but we can focus on the most important things – said Ryszard Petru on RMF FM.

It is not possible to implement all these pledges because public finances we took over are in a very difficult state, which I spoke about both during the election campaign and after it – the great hole left by Morawiecki, a huge deficit. We have the second-largest budget deficit in Europe, we have a large and growing debt, and there is still no economic growth. Of course, it will appear, among other things, because of the money from the KPO (National Reconstruction Plan), but we must ensure that this economic growth comes not only from external sources, i.e., from external money, but also from internal ones. That is why trade liberalization and a reduction in health contributions are so important – he continued.

09:26

Petru:

Raising the Tax-Free Allowance is Unrealistic at This Stage

- At this stage, [raising the tax-free allowance] is unrealistic. This is because it costs too much, and therefore, in my opinion, the focus should be on contributions. Health contributions are significantly more important at this stage for employees and entrepreneurs. If there were an opportunity to lower and raise the tax-free allowance within a 4-year perspective, it would be fantastic, but with such a high deficit and such high debt, in my conviction, it is impossible in the near future – stated Ryszard Petru on RMF FM.

09:26

Petru:

Defense spending cannot overshadow public finance reform

- It cannot be that just because we say we are spending on defense, we can't do anything else. We expect deep reform of public finances from ourselves and our coalition, and an halt to all actions related to nepotism, party cronyism, and the liquidation of unnecessary institutions. We also need to slim down as a state to be effective, not so pathetic, mediocre, and nepotistic – Ryszard Petru said on RMF FM.

09:38

Nowacka on Teacher Salary Increases: This Money Was Simply Due to Them for Years of Hard Work

- Our most important commitment, stemming from a strong need to rebuild the prestige of the teaching profession, and the promised increases, salaries raised by 30% and 33% for junior teachers – this is a great qualitative change that teachers are feeling. This money was simply due to them for years of hard work, effort, action for young people, and for the cohesion and strength of schools and Polish education – stated Barbara Nowacka at a press conference.

09:40

Nowacka:

Regulation on abolishing mandatory homework to be signed in the coming days

- In the coming days, a regulation concerning the abolition of mandatory homework will be signed, and it will likely come into force on April 16th, meaning homework for primary schools will be optional. This does not mean a teacher cannot assign it, but it will not be graded – stated Barbara Nowacka at a press conference.

10:04

Sienkiewicz Reports Jacek Kurski to Prosecutors for 'Destroying TVP and Degrading its Mission'
- I have filed a notification with the prosecutor's office regarding the possibility of Jacek Kurski committing a crime. The former CEO of TVP destroyed a public institution and led to the degradation of its mission, which is reliable, objective information about the most important matters in the country, accessible to every Pole - wrote Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz on social media.

10:19

Czarzasty:

"We are a permanent fixture as the Left and will do everything to ensure this government functions normally and reasonably for Poland"

- We are a permanent fixture as the Left within this government and will do everything to ensure this government functions normally, reasonably, for Poland, for Polish women and men. A lot is being said about the 100 commitments for 100 days, but we will not refer to the 100 days because that is Civic Platform's program, which we value and respect, but Civic Platform has its authorities and they will inform about the implementation of the 100 commitments. For us, however, what connects us with the government are two important things: the coalition agreement we have, and we also have various common elements that are very important, as well as our program. Today's press conference is to tell you about the implementation of this element that the Left has brought to the government - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the Left's press conference.

10:32

Błaszczak:

Tusk's Politics Resembles the Oldest Profession in the World
- The week of truth for the December 13th coalition is coming to an end. It has been 100 days since the government of this coalition, led by Donald Tusk, was formed. There were promises of 100 concrete actions; what has emerged from these 100 concrete actions? 100 lies. I believe that especially those voters who waited until late at night, for instance in Wrocław's Jagodno, to cast their vote have realized this. They were reportedly students, so the question could be posed: are there already dormitories for one złoty? They were small business owners, so one can ask if voluntary social security contributions are already in place. And everyone thought that Donald Tusk, as he promised, would introduce a tax-free allowance within the first 100 days of his government; some thought it would be 60,000 PLN [per year], others 6,000 PLN per month, which amounts to 72,000 PLN annually, but both groups have been duped - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference. - One could say that Donald Tusk is a pathological liar because he was aware that he would not fulfill these 100 postulates within 100 days, thus he deceived public opinion, he deceived voters. The Law and Justice Parliamentary Club has prepared a whole series of actions. On Tuesday, we presented everything that is the result of these 100 days, meaning we presented 100 lies. On Wednesday, we proposed 8 draft laws [...] these projects are lying in Marshal Hołownia's freezer. And on Thursday, our parliamentarians conducted oversight - he continued. - We are dealing with a liar, we are dealing with fairy tales that could be included in a catalog of the saddest fairy tales. And perhaps one more thing: a reference to President Ronald Reagan. President Reagan once stated that politics is the second oldest profession in the world. In Donald Tusk's execution, one could say it looks the same as the first oldest profession in the world - he went on to say. At the beginning of the conference, PiS showed a spot in which Donald Tusk's and Szymon Hołownia's promises from the parliamentary election campaign were recalled.

10:32

Gawkowski:

We are Fulfilling Promises and Keeping Our Word. The Left Has Contributed 50 Initiatives to the Government
  • The strong participation of the Left in this government provides a basis for us to say that we are fulfilling promises, keeping our word, and that Poland, in a coalition government of four equal partners, has its strong, audible, and important voice. The 50 initiatives we presented within the government for the first 100 days have their contribution in many areas of the state – social policies, state responsibility for the rule of law, funds from the European Union, foreign policy, infrastructure, technology, digitalization, science, and school education. Everywhere we pointed out specific directions, today we can boast about them because we have the opportunity to tell a new story for Poles, one in which, as presented during the election campaign, a given word is later kept. This is a new standard, and I wanted to tell you that this is good cooperation – stated Krzysztof Gawkowski at a press conference.

10:41

Kuźmiuk on Ministry of Finance and Health Proposals for Health Contribution: A Mere Glimpse of What We Proposed
- Regarding the health contribution, among the eight draft laws we have submitted is the Law and Justice party's draft to revert to the previous state. What was presented yesterday as a draft is, one could say, a mere glimpse of what we proposed. In my opinion, this is an attempt to force something out before the 100 days are up - said Zbigniew Kuźmiuk at a press conference.

10:45

Kuźmiuk:

We Will Absolutely Not Support Any of Hołownia's Proposals on Sunday Trading
- The issue of Sunday trading was resolved long ago, Poles have become accustomed to the current situation [...] we believe there is nothing that needs to be improved. Therefore, we will absolutely not support any of Hołownia's proposals - said Zbigniew Kuźmiuk at a press conference.

10:53

Błaszczak:

A Civil Defence Bill Prepared by the PiS Government Lies on the Current Minister's Desk
- A draft concerning civil defence, prepared by the Law and Justice government, lies on the desk of the current Minister of Interior and Administration. I believe that one of the very important elements, when it comes to the civil defence system, is ensuring that fire stations have ambulances and that volunteer firefighters are prepared to provide first medical aid, as well as many other solutions – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference. - We, as the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club, will present this draft, and in a few days it will also be submitted for debate in the Polish Sejm – he continued.

11:04

Trzaskowski:

We want to double the number of qualified child psychiatrists in Warsaw within 2-3 years
- We have decided to co-finance the training of doctors who will undertake the effort to further specialize in [child and adolescent] psychiatry, and we have found the money for it. We would like to double the number of qualified psychiatrists working in municipal facilities within 2-3 years, and that is why this co-financing is being provided. 4,000 PLN per month during the years the doctors undertake the new specialization. In return, these doctors will work for 2-3 years in municipal facilities. We are very keen to draw attention to this problem, but also to solve it in the most effective way possible – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference in Warsaw.

13:28

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Civil Defense Act is one of the most important legislative acts adopted this parliamentary term
- Today, together with Minister [Kierwiński], we will present the assumptions that we have been working on since day one. The Ministry of the Interior and Administration, in particular Minister Kierwiński, has been cooperating with the Ministry of National Defence, with all other ministries, because we must make up for the backlog left by our predecessors. The Act on National Defence abolished the Act on Civil Defence, on the defence of the population. Our predecessors, during the dozen or so months they were in office, [...] were busy with internal squabbles, disputes - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference. - This cannot be a chaotic movement and spontaneous general mobilization. To ensure the highest level of security guarantees, it must be well-prepared. It must be defined within the structure of the state’s civil defence and population protection. First protection, if it is peacetime, and defence, if such a crisis, a war crisis, occurs. We are ready for this, the Minister has developed the assumptions for this act, which will soon be submitted for public consultation, but it is already being analysed with local government officials, who will play a key role - he continued. - We must be prepared for any scenario as a society. We are not saying this to scare anyone, but rather to deter our adversaries, so that it never pays for any of our opponents or enemies to attack the Republic. [...] In a moment of threat, the state defends itself not only with its units, armed forces, or all institutions. It defends itself with its full might, meaning the might of its citizens. [...] This is one of the most important legislative acts that, in our opinion, will be adopted this parliamentary term - he went on to say.

13:34

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Poland's Civil Defence Will Be Led by the Minister of Interior and Administration
- Our predecessors wanted to liquidate the Government Centre for Security; we will strengthen and develop it. This is the fundamental difference. Whoever thought of it, they must be really out of their minds and have truly fallen on their heads to propose the liquidation of the Government Centre for Security at a time when security is threatened every day – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference. - The Government Centre for Security will be developed, and civil defence of the Republic of Poland will be headed by the Minister of Interior and Administration. This is a very important change; previously, it was the head of the State Fire Service, the chief commandant of the State Fire Service – he continued. - Minister Kierwiński will lead civil defence; I can say that he is becoming a minister for civil defence, which is how it functions in other countries – he added.

13:40

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Everything We Agreed Upon in the Coalition Agreement Will Be Realized

- Everything we agreed upon in the coalition agreement will be realized because we all signed up to it. In this coalition agreement, there is a very important matter, a change in the rules for collecting health contributions. Changing the rules in such a way that it will simply be profitable to run a business in Poland. Those who create jobs, who create their own place, sometimes a sole proprietorship, those who have family businesses employing up to 9 people, micro-enterprises, the smallest neighborhood shops, workshops, factories, various types of services and businesses. It will be profitable in Poland under our government, and people will create economic activity – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

13:40

Kierwiński:

The Safety of Poles is an Absolute Priority for the Current Government. Our Predecessors Created Gigantic Chaos

- Every citizen, every Pole, has a duty to defend the homeland. This is natural; it's in the DNA of every Pole. But the state also has a duty to defend its inhabitants, its population. It must surround the civilian population with protection, create procedures, and solutions that will function in situations of threat so that every Pole can feel safe. Of course, given what we observe beyond our eastern border, we are talking about an extreme situation, a 'W-hour' scenario, an armed conflict. But please remember that population protection also encompasses extraordinary situations arising from threats that can occur every day. These are situations concerning natural disasters, contamination, which can simply be encountered in daily life. The safety of Poles is an absolute priority for the government, the current government, and in this regard, for the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.

- Our predecessors introduced gigantic chaos. The Prime Minister [Kosiniak-Kamysz] spoke about the most emblematic example of this irresponsibility, although stronger words come to mind, regarding the attempts to liquidate the Government Security Centre (RCB). Our predecessors completely destroyed any procedures connecting different state institutions, different state services that are meant to operate for the protection of the population. We will restore these connections, mutual relations, procedures, and very specific assignment of duties in this act - added the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

15:42

Duda:

We Advocate for an Open-Door Policy Towards Both the EU and NATO
- We are proponents of an open-door policy in Poland, we have always been, and our policy here is absolutely stable, our stance is unequivocal, an open-door policy, yes. Towards both the EU, as well as an open-door policy towards NATO. Speaking of NATO, we also discussed with Mr. President issues related to defense spending. Here, Poland and Hungary, it can be boldly said, stand on the same line. Hungary has long been spending over 2% of its GDP on defense. Currently, it's almost 3%, Poland spends over 4% of its GDP on defense, so it can be said that in this regard, we are at the forefront of meeting NATO requirements – stated President Andrzej Duda at a press conference in Stary Sącz.

15:45

Duda:

It is justified for NATO countries to spend 3% of GDP on defense, as during the Cold War
- Today we have a situation of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. In view of the above, I believe it is justified for NATO countries to start bearing such defense expenditures as were unfortunately incurred during the Cold War. When Russia threatened Europe and the world with aggression, it threatens today as well, and back then it was 3% [of GDP], today it should also be 3% – said President Andrzej Duda at a press conference in Stary Sącz.

20:05

Bodnar Responds to Duda's Letter on Prosecutor General: 'We Are Doing Our Job and Striving to Engage Prosecutors to Best Perform Their Duties'
- I have responded to the President's arguments many times, as they have essentially been repeating since the day Dariusz Barski returned to a state of retirement as a result of my actions. He was reinstated from this state of retirement based on provisions that were no longer in effect in 2022; I pointed this out on January 12th, and since then we've had, one could say, a constant line of correspondence, an exchange of arguments with the President - said Adam Bodnar in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events). - We are doing our job and striving to engage the prosecution service to best perform its duties, which are to uphold the rule of law and prosecute crimes - he added.

20:09

Petru:

We managed to achieve three major goals

- We managed to achieve three major goals. The release of funds from the KPO, the initiation of restoring normal rules of the game in the judiciary, and three - rebuilding relations with the EU. These are the foundations. As for the 100 specific points, even during the campaign I said that it is impossible to implement them in such a short period of time, because it is technically impossible, and for some of them there is no money at the moment, because we inherited a budget with a very high deficit - stated Ryszard Petru on TVP Info.

20:10

Bodnar:

The argument that I will bring anarchy to the courts is used by those who want things to stay as they were, for the entrenchment of the prosecution to continue
- This is an argument [that my actions will lead to anarchy in the courts] used by opponents of these changes, who would like things to continue as they were, for the entrenchment of the prosecution, which took place in mid-2023, to persist. Let us note, this was not just a personal entrenchment, it was also at the level of introducing legislative solutions so that the new Prosecutor General would not be able to do anything – said Adam Bodnar in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:18

Petru:

I will vote for the Left's abortion bill to be sent to committee

- I will vote for the Left's [abortion] bill to be sent to committee, and I will likely also vote for this bill from the Left. I can declare that I do not expect any declarations in return from them - stated Ryszard Petru on TVP Info.

20:21

Petru:

The Coalition Promised So Much in 100 Days, It Was Unrealistic. Time to Accelerate

- No, here it seems to me that we have a significant deficit. I never expected that there was a chance to implement a substantial part of the program in 100 days, and I said so during the campaign. The coalition declared so much in 100 days, it was unrealistic, if only due to budget constraints and high deficit, debt. But I think it's time to accelerate - stated Ryszard Petru on TVP Info.

Bodnar Announces Sending Letters to First 30 Individuals Illegally Surveilled by Pegasus
- This letter [to individuals illegally surveilled by Pegasus] has not yet been sent; I am still working with the Minister-Coordinator of Special Services on preparing this list of individuals to whom it will be sent first... I agree that it is taking a bit longer, but we will try to do it as quickly as possible - said Adam Bodnar in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - Please remember that this will not be the disclosure of the entire list, but a certain first group of people for whom we will have absolute certainty – which is why it is taking longer – that in their case, Pegasus was used absolutely without grounds, was abused as a means of operational control, and that we can inform them that these individuals have victim status in the investigation being conducted by one of the investigative teams I have appointed - he emphasized. - Initially, it will be a group of 30 people, but this does not exhaust the group of people who may have also been affected by this system - he added.

Sikorski:

The House of Representatives Cannot Delay Aid to Ukraine; the Situation is Dramatic
The situation is dramatic because Ukraine is running out of anti-aircraft missile resources, and that is why this bill in the House of Representatives is so important, because it is exactly what is waiting to be sent to Ukraine. I hope that these dramatic images from Kyiv, from Kharkiv, from the Zaporizhzhia power plant, where over a million people apparently lack access to electricity, will finally convince Speaker Johnson and the Republicans in the House of Representatives that there can be no further delay – stated Radosław Sikorski on the program "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

Sikorski:

We're doing our utmost to help Ukraine. If others did the same, Ukraine would be in a better situation

- The faster we must send Ukraine the weapons it desperately needs. The government is acting very energetically on this matter; we have contributed, supported the Czech ammunition initiative, and persuaded both Germany and France to approve the EU defense budget of 5 billion euros. The EU has already allocated twice as much to aid Ukraine as the United States and an additional 50 billion euros to sustain the functioning of the Ukrainian state. Poland is on its 45th military aid package for Ukraine. We are truly doing our utmost; if everyone else did the same, Ukraine would be in a better situation – said Radosław Sikorski on TVN24.

Sikorski:

If Russia re-arms, it may be tempted to use that force further

- This awareness [of war with Russia] is growing, it is reinforced by the fact that we have been warning about such things for many years, and people didn't believe us, but now they are listening more carefully. Notice that defense budgets are higher the closer a country is to the Russian border, and this is no coincidence. Of course, once Russia is armed to the teeth, after reorienting its economy to a war footing, it may feel tempted to use these newly acquired capabilities further – stated Radosław Sikorski on TVN24.

Bodnar:

Currently I Don't Know of Any Case Where Pegasus Was Used Without Court Approval
- I am not aware of such a case, at least based on what we have analyzed so far, but it is difficult for me to rule it out - said Adam Bodnar in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News when asked if Pegasus had been used without court approval in any case.

Bodnar:

Until now, there was a practice of publishing Rulings with annotations. I believe there's a high chance this practice will evolve further after the Sejm's resolution.
- Regarding whether Rulings of the Constitutional Tribunal will continue to be published after the Sejm's resolution, one needs to ask Minister Maciej Berka […]. Please note that we haven't had a single ruling since this resolution, so I think we'll see what decision is made then. I wouldn't want to preempt such decisions - said Adam Bodnar on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń". - Until now, there was a practice of publishing Rulings with annotations. This means that if a ruling was issued with the participation of substitute judges, a lengthy annotation was appended. I think there are high chances [that this practice will change], considering the content of this resolution and the call that appears at the end of the resolution. [High chances] that this practice will go further than just appending annotations - he continued.

Bodnar:

We'll Begin Work on the Constitutional Tribunal Act in April
- The bill on the Constitutional Tribunal and the regulations introducing the CT Act have been presented, as well as a draft amendment to the Constitution. [...] We will certainly begin work on the CT Act in April. This act is one part of the action plan to restore self-governance, and in this way, we would like to bring about changes in the CT – said Adam Bodnar in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.
