Morawiecki in a Clip: Don't Let the Time of Shameful Ads Return - Work for 4 or 5 Złoty

- 5 zł, 6 zł, 4.50 zł per hour, mostly on 'junk contracts'. Remember this, see for yourselves. These are job offers from Tusk's era. These ads were a permanent feature of Poland under PO's rule. And they even made people happy about it, because unemployment was so high that it was better to earn anything at all. They only cared about increasing the wealth of foreign corporations. Today it's different. Decent wages, almost the lowest unemployment in the EU, lower taxes for workers, and zero PIT for young people entering the job market. These are the hallmarks of the PiS government. Don't let the time of these shameful ads return - the time of work for 4 or 5 złoty. This time of shame - over 2 million Poles unemployed, millions more on junk contracts. Only PiS can stop Tusk - says Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a new PiS clip.

Terlecki on the Debate: It Was a Debate Between Two Leaders, the Ruling Camp and the Total Opposition. The Rest Constituted a Backdrop to This Clash

- It seems to me that this was a debate between two leaders, the ruling camp and the opposition, the total opposition. Well, the rest of the participants, although one could say so, aimed high at one, because they were all supporters. All the others are opposition supporters, and they all criticized the government in various ways, but the rest turned out so bland that it was as if they confirmed that in essence, votes cast for them are wasted votes – stated Ryszard Terlecki on PR24.

- They solely constituted a backdrop to the clash of the two main competitors – he added.

08:05

Terlecki:

Tusk's intention was to break out of the opposition media bubble

- Tusk's intention, I believe, was to break out of this, as it is now unpleasantly termed, opposition media bubble, which makes listeners and viewers foolish. To appear on Polish public television, before listeners and viewers who do not watch opposition media on a daily basis. Well, he failed to achieve that, because he was aggressive, he started by insulting President Kaczyński. In a word, he did not meet his hopes, I think, of managing to convince someone who doesn't watch TVN on a daily basis – stated Ryszard Terlecki on PR24.

08:06

Terlecki:

I Think There Will Be an Attempt to Challenge the Election Results

- It seems to me, one thing is certain, that there will be an attempt to question the significance of these elections and their results in various ways. Among other things, somewhere someone will drop a pen and bend down, and that will be the reason that the elections were falsified, that some irregularities occurred, that their outcome can be challenged from such a formal perspective – said Ryszard Terlecki on PR24.

08:13

Rau:

Over 600 Polish Citizens Successfully Evacuated from Israel by This Morning
- It's not surprising that our partners [...] are asking us to include their citizens in this evacuation process as well, because the entire operation is proceeding very smoothly. We have committed significant resources, [...] we have launched two air routes for leaving Israel. This shuttle service between Chania and Tel Aviv, Chania in Crete, is one route for leaving Israel. The second is Tel Aviv-Warsaw. Furthermore, we have extensive experience when it comes to organizing evacuations as such. It must be remembered that two years ago, Poland was among the few European Union countries that managed to complete the evacuation from Kabul earliest - said Zbigniew Rau on PR24. - Over 600 Polish citizens have been successfully transported from Israel by this morning. I believe we are halfway through this effort - he noted.

08:24

Rau:

Ukraine's Authorities Concluded Closer Ties with Germany as a Guarantor of Swift EU Accession Would Be More Beneficial. This is an Unjustified Assumption
- Indeed, these [Polish-Ukrainian] relations are going through a phase of distancing between both sides. We know the genesis of this situation, undoubtedly it's a result of a political turn, in my opinion inspired by Berlin. A turn, as a result of which the current Ukrainian authorities – both the presidential center and the government – have come to the conclusion that closer ties with Germany would be more beneficial for Ukraine, as that guarantor – as they assume, in my opinion unjustly – of Ukraine's swift accession to the European Union – said Zbigniew Rau on PR24. - And considering that our government, the PiS government, from the perspective of Berlin and Brussels, is perceived, I believe, primarily as the main obstacle in efforts aiming at the federalization of Europe, then this German-Ukrainian rapprochement is joined by an expectation, unfortunately also an action, for the Polish society not to extend our mandate to govern in a third term. And here, indeed, this cooling [...] of our relations with Ukraine appears to be an unfortunately deliberate and conscious manoeuvre – he continued to say.

Hołownia:

I Wonder if Morawiecki Can Walk from the Bedroom to the Bathroom in the Morning Without Saying 'Donald Tusk' 7 Times

- First and foremost, I'm talking about what has become a genuine obsession for Mateusz Morawiecki. I wonder with genuine concern whether he is capable of walking a few steps from his bedroom to the bathroom in the morning without repeating 'Donald Tusk' seven times, because yesterday he showed that he probably has trouble with that. However, Morawiecki's performance was clearly also disastrous. I had the impression that I wasn't seeing the leader of the list, who inspires and talks about dreams, about how beautiful it will be, about what we will do, but rather someone defending himself before a tribunal - stated Szymon Hołownia in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:42

Hołownia:

A Million Extra Viewers Logged In Last Weekend. The Fight Will Be For Them

- We know, we see, we feel it, it comes from the polls, that last weekend, it's really like this, a million additional viewers logged in, someone nicely compared it, and now the actors, I don't remember whose comparison it was, but it's apt, they have to perform this whole play, which they've been acting for 6 months, in an instant version over a week, because these are people, like our friends, who say: okay, for half a year they've been throwing all this at each other, barking at each other, shouting, all this filth has been poured out, but the elections are in a week, so we have to go out now and see who to vote for, and the fight is for these people now. That's a million voters, 6-7% of the electorate. In my opinion, [it is decisive], the fight will be for them, until the end, until Friday, until late evening - stated Szymon Hołownia in "Graffiti" Polsat News.

08:44

Hołownia:

I Have the Impression That Poland is Moving Beyond a Duopoly

- I have the impression that we are truly at a very important moment in history. Forgive me for the pathos, but it is so. Something is ending in Poland. The duopoly, the polarization, is ending – that’s my impression. Yesterday’s debate also showed this a bit, and people see that it’s no longer enough for them – stated Szymon Hołownia on Polsat News’s “Graffiti.”

08:46

Hołownia:

Our Result Will Be Between 12 and 15%

- Yes, I am absolutely sure [that we will exceed 8%]. I believe our result will be between 12 and 15%. I don't know [if I will end my political career if we don't get 8%]; we will see what cards the people deal us - stated Szymon Hołownia in Polsat News's "Graffiti".

08:58

Müller on the Debate: Prime Minister Morawiecki's Decisive Victory, Tusk Seemed from Another Era

- Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki had a decisive advantage, Donald Tusk seemed from another era. To be honest, the faces of Donald Tusk's staff after leaving the debate spoke for themselves. I really haven't seen such sad faces on the Civic Platform's campaign team. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki won decisively, presenting concrete achievements from the last eight years, as well as a vision for what can happen in the coming years – stated Piotr Müller on the TVP1 program „Kwadrans polityczny”.

08:59

Tomczyk:

I have no doubt Tusk won the debate
- I have no doubt that Donald Tusk won this debate, but above all because during these 7 minutes, because that's how much time Donald Tusk had, he was able to say and convey more truth to TVP viewers than TVP viewers have had the opportunity to hear over the last 8 years. After all, yesterday Donald Tusk exposed the PiS lies regarding the retirement age, regarding the sale of Lotos. I generally believe that TVP viewers were in severe shock yesterday, that they could see Donald Tusk saying something completely different than what they have heard on TVP for 8 years, for example on the issue of retirement age or the 500+ program - said Cezary Tomczyk in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

09:02

Müller on the United Right Reaching 40% of Votes: I Don't Want to Reveal Internal Polls, But This Barrier is Achievable

- I don't want to reveal the internal polls that we conduct daily, but I can say that I am calm, and this barrier is achievable. There is an upward trend, which is why I am more at ease after yesterday's debate, as I know we have laid everything out on the table for Poles to choose from over the weekend - stated Piotr Müller in the TVP1 program "Political Quarter of an Hour".

09:06

Müller:

The debate ended yesterday. If Tusk wants a rematch, the next opportunity is in 4 years
It's not surprising that the loser wants a rematch, but the debate ended yesterday. Poles had the opportunity to see all the political committees and everyone could assess how they performed. If Donald Tusk wants a rematch, the next opportunity is in 4 years - stated Piotr Müller on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour" program.

09:07

Hołownia:

After the election, Konfederacja will fall apart

- In my assessment, but this is speculation, Konfederacja will fall apart. It is not a unified environment. After the election, it will fall apart; some will go with PiS, some might vote with the opposition. It is not a monolithic entity - stated Szymon Hołownia on Polsat News' "Graffiti" program.

09:07

Tomczyk:

TVP the Biggest Loser of the Debate, It Proved It's a Propaganda Mouthpiece
- We specifically revealed the truth about that second studio [...] precisely to prevent this from happening, to expose the scale of manipulation by public television. [...] A second studio was built at TVP, identical 1:1 to the one we saw yesterday at ATM, which was the venue for this pseudo-debate hosted by the PiS spokesperson, and the plan was exactly this: to move the debate at the last minute to Woronicza, so that people couldn't come, so they couldn't cheer for Donald Tusk. That's why we showed this plan, so that this scenario wouldn't materialize - said Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24. - The biggest loser of this debate, or rather the biggest loss, is public television altogether, because Polish Television, in its full glory, showed what it is. That it is a propaganda mouthpiece, that it is a tool of political struggle, that in reality it has nothing to do with a debate, and more to do with an election broadcast - he continued.

09:13

Tomczyk:

Morawiecki Showed a Two Zloty Coin, I Wonder If That's Exactly What His Wife Paid for a Plot from the Church or State Forests
- Yesterday, Mr. Morawiecki showed a two zloty coin [...] I wonder if this two zloty coin isn't exactly what Mateusz Morawiecki's wife paid for a plot from the Church or from State Forests. [...] The lowest revaluation [of pensions] in the last decade or so was in the year, mind you, 2016, when Mr. Morawiecki was Deputy Prime Minister in Beata Szydło's government – said Cezary Tomczyk on TVN24.

09:29

Bosak:

Morawiecki Recited Pre-Learned Lines Regardless of What Anyone Said

- It's frankly ridiculous, funny. I was standing close by and could see the dynamics of this debate live, and in my opinion, Mateusz Morawiecki had lines memorized that he recited regardless of what anyone said. In the first round, it wasn't the case that everyone was attacking the prime minister. Donald Tusk himself clearly got lost in the first round and couldn't manage his time, whereas Mateusz Morawiecki delivered his pre-learned line that everyone was attacking him and that the visa scandal, which didn't even exist. This demonstrates a lack of authenticity in this debate from the government's representative - stated Krzysztof Bosak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program “Gość Radia ZET”.

09:30

Bosak:

PiS and PO Have Weak Leaders, Obsessively Focused on Each Other

- We learned a lot about the political scene. We learned, above all, a very important thing: that the parties presented as the main political parties in Poland, namely PiS and Civic Platform, ultimately have weak leaders, obsessively focused on each other. It seems they are not mature enough for the high offices they hold, that of Prime Minister and former Prime Minister - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio ZET.

- I'm saying what I saw. I was embarrassed, standing there and seeing questions being asked, and the questions were also criticized. But setting aside the criticism of the questions, that they were long and tailored for PiS, they concerned serious matters, and these people did not want to talk about serious matters, only about each other, making some digs on the level of a school corridor. They were weak little spiteful remarks. Weak, I was embarrassed - he continued.

- I believe that Poles have won by gaining this knowledge about how embarrassing and childish this rivalry at the top of PiS and Civic Platform's power is. However, there are also other political parties, including Confederation, which I had the honor of representing yesterday, because they simply showed themselves to be more serious, more substantive forces than these actors promoted by the media - he added.

09:30

Bosak:

Tusk's Proposal Was Formulated in His Typical, Insulting Manner

- I suspect it won't happen [the debate proposed by Donald Tusk]. It's well known that PiS didn't want such debates. In this election campaign, employer organizations and online portals are organizing them, and PiS isn't putting anyone forward for these debates, so it's clear that PiS is running away from debates. Furthermore, Tusk's proposal was formulated in his typical, insulting manner. Suggesting that the Prime Minister should come with the party leader, or that the two of them are needed to debate with him, the great Tusk, is a form of self-aggrandizement. In my opinion, it's better to leave the assessment of who is better to the viewers and voters, rather than stating it directly about oneself, because if you say you will debate against two on your own, you are clearly presenting yourself as the stronger, dominant rival, and in my opinion, this is unnecessary arrogance, but typical of Tusk – stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio ZET.

09:30

Bosak Announces Campaign Finale

- We are doing a spectacular campaign finale in Krakow, on Friday at 7 PM on the Main Market Square - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio ZET.

09:31

Bosak on Korwin-Mikke's Statements: 'This is the kind of thinking that reminds me of less developed civilizations'

- This is the kind of thinking that reminds me of, let's say, less developed civilizations based on a clan system, where customary law prevails, like some African tribes and so on. I believe we are a European civilization based on law – stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio ZET.

- This harms us, which is why our opponents eagerly exploit it, but we in Konfederacja simply disagree with this view. We believe that children must be protected from all forms of sexual violence – he added.

09:32

Bosak:

Everyone Did Well Yesterday Except Tusk and Morawiecki

- Certainly, [Szymon Hołownia] managed to win over a few undecided voters, his results are indeed perceived as good (...) I think everyone did well yesterday except for Tusk and Morawiecki, and the gentleman from the Non-partisan Local Government Officials did quite well, although in my opinion, he copied some of our slogans - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio ZET.

09:58

Bosak:

Poland is supporting Ukraine with fuel on a massive scale. We don't know where it's going, and it's not subject to VAT or excise duty.
- It turns out that Poland is supporting the Ukrainian state not only with social benefits and the transfer of weaponry, but also with fuel on a massive scale. We are not talking about negligible amounts - as we learn from data from the Centre for Eastern Studies, between January and May alone, 680,000 tons of finished fuels went to Ukraine […], which equates to 170 full-sized tankers running daily. […] For a long time, drivers, carriers, and our activists living near the Ukrainian border have been saying that they see a procession of Polish tankers heading to Ukraine. Today, we are learning about the scale of this, and we are learning this, among other sources, from an article in "Newsweek" - said Krzysztof Bosak at a press conference. - We are learning another, very interesting thing, which is alarming to us - namely, that the fuel going there is, firstly, not covered by the SENT surveillance system […]. We don't actually know where this fuel is going, what happens to it. If any tanker theoretically heading to Ukraine wanted to dump this fuel in Poland - this is how fuel smuggling and fuel scandals occur - then it is actually unverifiable from the perspective of the Ministry of Finance. And we all know the scale of corruption in Ukraine - he continued. - The second issue, no less interesting and showing that we are dealing with an "opportunity makes a thief" situation here, is the fact that fuel leaving for Ukraine is not subject to either VAT or excise duty, which means that while Poles pay over PLN 6 for fuel, it was going to Ukraine at a price below PLN 4. That's a huge difference, and the question is why Poles have to pay significantly more for fuel than Ukrainians - continued one of the leaders of Konfederacja. - The PiS government is using Orlen for its election campaign. Secondly, it consistently uses the entire infrastructure of the Polish state to support the neighboring country and nation - financially, militarily, and with fuel - without receiving anything in return, only receiving one slap after another - he emphasized.

10:26

Gawkowski:

Top Polish Generals Express No-Confidence Vote for the Government
- While a war rages in Ukraine, a conflict is beginning in the Middle East, the consequences of which are unknown for Europe and the world, the most important generals of the Polish army are resigning. This is a specific resignation because it occurs during an election week, thus having double the impact. The most important Polish generals have today expressed a vote of no confidence from the army in the Polish government. They have not only expressed a vote of no confidence today, but have shown that the safe future of Poles is already gone. This was a campaign slogan of PiS, which today lies in ruins - said Krzysztof Gawkowski at a press conference in the Sejm. - On behalf of Lewica, I strongly and clearly demand the resignation of Mr. Błaszczak. I demand it today, because after the elections, the opposition government will dismiss him anyway. But there is no time for delay. […] Today, Minister Błaszczak, with his assistants, has brought about a situation where Putin is rejoicing, because the army, which was supposed to be a guarantee that the eastern flank of NATO would be safe, is left without its staff, without its command - he continued. - The image of the Polish army crumbling on the last day before the elections is a reflection of how much harm PiS has done to Poland. There will be no room for compromise here. Błaszczak must go, Kaczyński and Morawiecki must apologize - he added.

11:18

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Kaczyński warned of chaos if PiS lost, now the chaos is here with top generals resigning

- The resignation of the Chief of the General Staff, the resignation of the Operational Commander, this is simply an earthquake. This is something that has not happened in the Polish army since 1989. This negates the ruling party's basic slogan that they care about security. The myth that they can take care of Polish security has passed and crumbled, and it crumbled with a great bang. You cannot operate like this, you cannot govern like this, when every part of life is politicized. Polish soldiers have been telling us for a long time, we don't want to be politicized, we don't want to stand at press conferences, be background, decoration, set dressing. Today, the most important generals in the state have said the same thing by submitting their resignations. In the face of the ongoing war in Ukraine, in the face of the conflict that has been ongoing for several days, the tragedy in Israel, and the evacuation of citizens of the Republic of Poland. If soldiers and generals undertake such action, make such a decision, it means they are pushed against the wall, they are at the limit of their capabilities. They are exhausted by this politicization, by the lack of cooperation - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Wrocław.

- This conflict begins at the moment when Minister Błaszczak shifts responsibility from himself onto the army, he does not behave honorably in any way. We felt this, we saw it in conversations with officers of the Polish army, that there is no cooperation, no collaboration, there is chaos, there is degradation. This madness, which leads to the endangerment of Poland's security, must be stopped. Today, Poland is not safe, Poland is endangered, plunged into chaos. Nothing is left of this slogan about security. This is, in fact, the security of those who rule, not the security of those who should be the subject, i.e., the citizens. We do not agree with such conduct. A change must happen next Sunday. This chaos must be put in order - he continued,

- A few days ago, I heard statements from President Kaczyński, who said that if PiS didn't win, there would be some kind of confusion. This is the confusion today, if the most important generals are submitting their resignations. This is powerful chaos today - he emphasized.

11:19

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

An Appeal to the President. Regardless of Political Differences, the National Security Council Should Convene in This Situation

- Today we appeal to all circles, an appeal also to the President, because this is an important moment. Regardless of political differences, the National Security Council should convene in this situation. Due to the ongoing conflict in Israel, and due to what is happening in the Polish Army, the National Security Council should be convened, and the President should step out of the role of a partisan president and, as the President of the Republic should always do, stand at the forefront of all Poles, regardless of their worldviews and political sympathies. We know well in which direction he steers, but this is a moment of trial. This is a very dangerous moment for Poland - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Wrocław.

KGHM and Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka" Sign Letter of Intent for Cooperation

PARTNER TEXT

Plans for joint mining projects concerning future raw materials, cooperation, and building Poland's energy independence – KGHM and Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka" have signed a letter of intent regarding collaboration, including securing access to raw materials crucial for sustainable transformation. The document was adopted during the All-Polish Economic Summit in Lublin.

The parties declare in the letter that they will undertake cooperation in various forms, depending on their needs and capabilities, with particular emphasis on the assumptions contained in their business strategies. The companies will cooperate and flexibly adapt to the situation, follow developments, and adjust technologies to global changes, utilizing new business opportunities to build competitive advantages for both entities.

– Raw materials are not just an economic issue; they are currently a crucial matter for national security. Therefore, KGHM is ready for dialogue with domestic partners to ensure the stability and independence of our country. The agreement with "Bogdanka" has one goal: to create strong economic foundations for future generations, providing them with certainty of supply for essential raw materials and energy – said Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

– The transformation of Polish energy is not only a necessity but also a huge challenge and opportunity for Poland. For Bogdanka, KGHM is a natural partner in realizing mining projects concerning future raw materials. Through this cooperation, we can act not only for sustainable transformation but also strengthen our independence in the supply of critical raw materials and the production of energy from renewable sources. Bogdanka strives to achieve its strategic goals with full commitment and the conviction that by doing so, it contributes to Poland's energy security and the sustainable future of our country – said Kasjan Wyligała, CEO of Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka" S.A.

– Poland possesses deposits whose extraction is and will be the driving force of the national economy in the coming years. Energy transformation, electromobility, the defense industry – their functioning depends on the availability of so-called future raw materials. For years, KGHM has been a guarantor of Poland's raw material security; to strengthen it and open up to new business directions, we want to cooperate with other leaders of the Polish mining market, and LW Bogdanka is one such leader – said Mateusz Wodejko, Vice-President of the Management Board for Finance at KGHM.

– Signing the letter of intent with KGHM is a significant step in the context of Poland's future energy security and is another element of our strategy implementation. The search for critical raw materials is becoming increasingly strategic, and our cooperation with KGHM, a leader in the raw material acquisition industry, will allow us to approach this challenge effectively. The realization of our common goals in the field of raw materials and energy has a direct impact on our country's independence and its development – said Dariusz Dumkiewicz, Vice-President of the Management Board for Trade and Investment at Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka" S.A.

The signatories of the letter declare, among other things, their willingness for close cooperation in identifying and analyzing opportunities for implementing joint investment ventures in new mining projects in Poland concerning future raw materials. Detailed principles regarding planned ventures will be presented in separate agreements.

Both KGHM and Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka" intend to strive for mutual benefits associated with the further development and strengthening of Polish industry, enabling the realization of strategic goals and meeting market requirements.

In 2023, KGHM is implementing development plans, including the Deposit Access Project, under which the deepest mining excavation in Poland has been launched: shaft GG-1 with a depth of 1348 meters. The shaft in Kwielice is one of the most important investments in the history of the copper giant and the largest underground project in the non-ferrous metals industry in Europe. In June, a key connection for this project was made between the shaft and the Rudna Mining Plant.

Initial work has also begun on the construction of KGHM's 32nd shaft, GG-2. The shaft site is being created near the town of Słone in the Legnica Copper Basin.

The copper giant has begun developing a feasibility study for the construction of a modern Salt Evaporator. The investment is both business-oriented and pro-ecological. It will reduce the salinity of KGHM's technological waters and allow for environmentally neutral water free of salt and pollutants. Due to the availability of technical and energy utilities, the evaporator is planned to be built at the Głogów Copper Smelter.

KGHM also continues work on the executive documentation for the Scrap Trading Base within the Hybrid Smelter Legnica program and exploration projects in Poland and development projects in foreign assets. It is also undertaking activities related to increasing energy production from its own sources, including RES, solar and wind energy projects, and hydrogen.

The copper giant is also implementing an energy development program to reduce the share of conventional energy and increase the company's energy independence. This also concerns investment plans related to, among others, the energy transformation. The Ministry of Climate and Environment has issued a decision in principle to KGHM regarding the construction of a small modular nuclear reactor (SMR) in Poland. Thus, KGHM has received official state approval for the planned investment in line with the assumptions and concept presented by the company.

KGHM has also commissioned an analysis of the environmental and carbon footprint for its products: cathodes, wire rod, and Cu-OFE wire. Błaszczak, if he had an ounce of honor, should resign. He and other PiS politicians are a real threat to Poland's security
- You have surely heard by now about the resignations of the two most important soldiers in the Republic, namely the Chief of the General Staff and the Operational Commander. This is an unprecedented situation because Poland finds itself in a very difficult situation today. We have a war on our doorstep, the world is burning [...], and yet the PiS government, the United Right, has led to a situation where at the top of the Polish army, which should be an unshakeable unity today [...], we have chaos, resignations, mess, conflicts. [...] The United Right government, with its inept, incompetent decisions, has jeopardized Polish security - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm. - What we are seeing today is also an obvious reaction to Minister Błaszczak's behavior, to the attempt to politicize the military, to treat soldiers as moving scenery for political events, party gatherings. This must never happen again. It is not surprising that the soldiers are humiliated, that they feel someone is disgracing their uniform - he continued. - After such a vote of no confidence, which Polish soldiers have expressed towards the Minister of National Defense, this minister, if he had an ounce of honor, should resign immediately. Minister Błaszczak and other PiS politicians, carrying out I don't know whose agenda, are today a real threat to the security of the Republic - emphasized the leader of Poland 2050.

ORLEN Group to Acquire Vessels for Offshore Wind Farms with ARP Support
PARTNER CONTENT LOTOS Petrobaltic, part of the ORLEN Group, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) for the construction of three vessels intended for transferring personnel to offshore wind farm (OWF) sites. The agreement also covers securing financing for the project. The vessels, scheduled for delivery between 2025-2026, will also be utilized during installation and cable-laying operations. “We are taking a comprehensive approach to the development of offshore wind energy. We are investing in the construction of the first offshore wind farm, Baltic Power, which will be located in Polish Baltic waters. This is the most advanced offshore wind project in Poland. We have also recently obtained five concessions for the construction of further wind farms within the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone of the Baltic Sea. To ensure efficient service operations for these facilities, we will require specialized vessels. With this agreement with the Industrial Development Agency, we are initiating the construction of a fleet to service offshore wind energy,” says Daniel Obajtek, CEO of ORLEN. The cooperation pertains to crew transfer vessels (CTV). According to the agreement, a designated company within the Industrial Development Agency's Capital Group will solicit offers from shipyards for the construction of three such units, secure financing, and then deliver the completed vessels to LOTOS Petrobaltic on a bareboat charter basis (i.e., without a crew). The vessels are to be built by Polish shipyards and designed by a Polish design office, based on technical designs provided by LOTOS Petrobaltic. Technical requirements include the capability to transport 24 technicians, a dual-fuel engine, the ability to transport cargo, and an onboard crane. The vessels are expected to be delivered between 2025 and 2026 and will be chartered for service operations at offshore wind farms. “LOTOS Petrobaltic has over thirty years of experience in offshore operations and maritime logistics. We are also actively involved in the offshore wind energy sector, conducting geotechnical surveys. Our ambition is to increase our engagement in this area. The signed agreement will allow us to gain additional competencies in providing logistical services for the maintenance of offshore wind farms. This is not only an important step in implementing our strategy but also an opportunity for the entire economy. The involvement of Polish entrepreneurs in this process will contribute to building their position in the global value chain within the offshore wind energy segment,” says Grzegorz Strzelczyk, CEO of LOTOS Petrobaltic. The cooperation between LOTOS Petrobaltic and the Industrial Development Agency began in 2021. Their joint objective is the construction and chartering of service vessels belonging to a Polish-based shipowner, which creates prospects for establishing and systematically strengthening a local supply chain of products and services (local content) for OWFs, built by domestic industrial enterprises. As a result of this collaboration, an agreement has been reached on the financing model for a fleet of such specialized vessels. Companies within the Industrial Development Agency's Capital Group possess the potential, including financial capacity, which can be effectively utilized in executing projects for offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea. “The Industrial Development Agency supports the development of Polish industry in three fundamental areas: restructuring, innovative technology development, and energy transformation. ARP connects these key issues through active support for building the supply chain for Polish OWFs. By engaging in the creation of a Polish service fleet, our company will increase its contribution to building the supply chain for the newly emerging energy sector in Poland – the offshore wind energy sector,” says Cezariusz Lesisz, CEO of the Industrial Development Agency. The signed agreement represents another stage in the implementation of LOTOS Petrobaltic's strategy, which aims to establish itself as an offshore wind farm owner, specialized in maritime logistics and the servicing of subsea infrastructure for offshore wind farms. As part of the company's development, it is particularly important to fulfill the commitments made in the sector agreement, to which it is a signatory, regarding the participation of domestic companies in the supply chain of services for OWFs.

Czarzasty to the Ruling Party: How Dare You Deceive Poles and Talk About Poland's Security?
- I am directing my words to Mr. Kaczyński, to Mr. Morawiecki, to Mr. Błaszczak, and to President Andrzej Duda. How dare you deceive Poles and talk about Poland's security? How can you spout such nonsense? The truth has come out. Mr. Minister Błaszczak, I wanted to tell you, because perhaps you don't know, there is a war abroad, a war has begun in the Middle East, and you, during the election campaign, are saying that Poland is absolutely safe, that military structures are functioning fantastically, that you are prepared for any situation, and suddenly the two most important military officials in Poland are resigning - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

12:37

Biejat:

Things are going very badly in the military; we've known this for months, and Błaszczak's incantations won't change it
- Things are not going well in the military. They are going very badly, and we have all known this for many months. And no incantations from Minister Błaszczak saying that Poland is safe will change that. PiS based its campaign on this, on conjuring reality, on telling us that under their rule we are safe. But Poles do not feel safe, because today not only the military but also the police are politicized - said Magdalena Biejat at a press conference.

We See All Towns, Even the Smallest, Because We Believe Poles are One Great Nation

- Today's visit has two reasons. Firstly, we wanted to show our citizens, those who are listening and watching us right now, so they can see what millions and billions of zlotys from the Polish budget are spent on. And secondly, so that the residents of our wonderful, beautiful homeland can see that we acknowledge all localities, even the smallest ones, because we believe that Poles are one great nation. Regardless of what they do, where they live, what profession they practice, they have the right to the same conditions for development, because each of us has some dreams, plans, ambitions and would like to fulfill them. Unfortunately, for many years there were such places, especially the smaller ones, that were forgotten, neglected, and investments practically did not reach them - stated Elżbieta Witek at a press briefing in Strzałkowo.

- Not millions, but billions are coming to this area. The district has received only 1.4 billion for investments in recent years. No one has ever seen such vast sums of money in local government before - she added.

Tusk:

Just Received News of Another 10 High-Ranking General Command Officers Resigning
- Just a moment ago, I received information about the resignations of another 10 high-ranking officers from the General Command. All of this is happening at a time when a war is ongoing beyond our eastern border, and a conflict is escalating in the Middle East that could, at any moment, turn into a global conflict – said Donald Tusk in a statement.

13:26

Tusk Appeals to Officers and Generals: Maintain Calm and Maximum Responsibility
- I am appealing to all officers and generals of the Polish Army to maintain calm and show maximum responsibility. I believe everyone in Poland understands the reasons why so many soldiers, officers, and generals are fed up with the situation that has prevailed in recent years, and especially in recent months, in the relations between the party-controlled government and the Polish Army. However, in a few days, there is a real chance that the rule of law and the rule of the Constitution will also return to this sphere of our public life - said Donald Tusk in a statement.

Head of BBN Announces: Personnel Changes Today in Key Positions of the Polish Army

- This was the second point of the meeting, and of course, if the gentlemen generals decided yesterday to submit their resignations and throw off their uniforms, such a decision will be accepted by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. From the President's perspective, the BBN considers maintaining the continuity of command and the efficiency of operations, such as the evacuation from the territory of Israel, to be absolutely crucial. This operation is coordinated by the General Command, so continuity is in no way threatened, and the actions of the entire military will be continued under new leadership, because personnel changes will take place today in the most important positions [in the Polish Armed Forces] - stated Jacek Siewiera at a press briefing.

13:29

Tusk Appeals to the President:

The Most Important Task is to Inform the Public.
- The most important task today, and I am also fervently appealing for this to Mr. President, is to quickly inform the public about what has happened, about all the reasons for this escalating chaos in the Polish armed forces. This is what the public expects, and this is a condition for achieving a sense of security and stability - said Donald Tusk in a statement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is Spectularly Well Prepared for Elections Abroad
- On October 15th, we will celebrate a festival of democracy in Poland. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is, I am pleased to state, spectacularly well prepared for this celebration abroad. [...] If we compare the state of our preparations for these elections with those that took place 8 years ago, which were prepared by our predecessors, and currently our political opponents, I want to tell you that after these 8 years, three times more Polish citizens will participate in parliamentary elections abroad [...] as well as in the referendum - said Zbigniew Rau at a press conference. - Twice as many members of polling station election commissions will be working at these elections abroad. For this purpose, we have established almost 70% more polling station election commissions, and thus polling stations. We have created 60 new locations - he continued.

Rau:

560,000 Registered to Vote Abroad; We Predict Over 600,000 Ultimately
- 8 years ago, just under 200,000 compatriots participated in voting abroad. 4 years ago, it was already 314,000. This year, at this moment, it's over 560,000. But since today is the last day for Polish citizens abroad to register on the electoral rolls, and the trend of a radical increase in this number is more than obvious, I can assure you with satisfaction that by 24:00 today local time, let's take the western states of the United States: California, Alaska, it will be over 600,000. This is the clear forecast. […] Three times more than 8 years ago – said Zbigniew Rau at a press conference.

Duda to Gen. Kukuła: 'I Congratulate You, General, on This Nomination. It is a Highly Responsible Position; the Chief of the General Staff is the First Soldier of the Republic.'

General, I remember our conversation many years ago. When we were sitting in the presidential palace in Wisła. In that historic seat of the head of the Polish state, gifted by the nation, we talked about responsibility for state affairs on the one hand. But on the other hand, we also spoke about the will to serve the fatherland, which is so abundant in people and which needs to be well utilized for the fatherland, that people who want to serve the fatherland deserve to be able to realize themselves and show what they are capable of. General, you have realized this over the subsequent years – said Andrzej Duda in the Presidential Palace.

I congratulate you, General, on this nomination. It is a highly responsible position. The Chief of the General Staff is the first soldier of the Republic. It is a special situation, the one we are currently in. We know perfectly well that a war triggered by Russian aggression has been ongoing for a year and a half, right next to our border. We know that we are supporting [Ukraine], we know that there have been several very difficult moments during this time (...) Gentlemen Generals, I thank you immensely for the past few days. When decisions about evacuation, about rescuing our compatriots from Israel, had to be made literally within minutes – he added.

17:05

Duda:

I've Submitted a Bill to the Marshal's Office Proposing the Creation of a Joint Command
Some time ago, I submitted a bill to the Marshal's Office that will re-regulate these issues. Among other things, this involves transforming the organizational structure of the Polish army, including through proposals to create a joint command, meaning the merging of the Operational and General Commands within a single structure. I believe this will happen in the near future. Soon, we will have a new parliament that will enact this presidential proposal. As it will be obliged to deal with it as quickly as possible. I have no doubt that the newly elected MPs understand the need for the Polish army to function as efficiently as possible – stated Andrzej Duda at the Presidential Palace.

Błaszczak:

No Consent for Involving the Polish Army in the Election Campaign. Today Tusk Lied

- When two generals decided to shed their Polish Army uniforms, their successors were immediately appointed. These are experienced commanders, commanders who have led both on missions abroad and within Poland. They guarantee that the modernization of the Polish Army, the largest in history, will proceed smoothly, thus we will strengthen the Polish Army both in terms of numbers, meaning new military units will be established, especially in the eastern part of our country, and we will also strengthen the Polish Army in terms of equipping it with modern weaponry. We are aware of the threats facing Poland. For two years, a hybrid attack on Poland has been carried out from the territory of Belarus. Russia has attacked Ukraine, and a regular war is being waged at our border. Two days ago, war broke out again in the Middle East, which may result, certainly will result, in another wave of migration or subsequent waves of migration heading towards Europe. To stop these trends and mitigate threats, our task is to create a strong Polish Army, and I assure you that we will carry out this task, and we will not back down from its realization - stated Mariusz Błaszczak during a press briefing.

- There is also no consent for involving the Polish Army in the election campaign. Today Tusk lied by saying that 10 high-ranking officers resigned from the General Command. This information is false. The goal of presenting such information was likely a desire to cause chaos and confusion. I remind you - in a situation where a war is being waged at Poland's borders. Other opposition representatives are acting similarly. This is reprehensible behavior - the Minister of National Defence continued.

- It is from the opposition's lists that retired generals are running, it is at opposition rallies that retired generals participate. These are the same generals who were instrumental in the liquidation of military units when Poland was governed by the PO-PSL coalition - he emphasized.

Poland Should Be Tolerant, Open, Diverse, and Progressive. This is Exactly What The Left Is. We Are Going to Parliament to Talk About These Values.
- The Left will talk about its program for young people, because The Left has the best program of all political parties. Dear friends, today’s generation of young people is a generation that has spent their entire lives in the EU and they have every right, a full mandate, to not only ask for, but also to demand the same rights and the same opportunities as their peers in the Czech Republic, Sweden, or Spain – stated Krzysztof Śmiszek at The Left's convention in Wrocław. - Young people know and young people feel that the power of bishops over politicians is simply embarrassing. Young people see and know that the abortion ban is simply a sad relic. Young people are also ashamed of Polish homophobia, but young people also know and have a great understanding of what Poland should look like. Poland should be tolerant, open, diverse, and progressive. And this is exactly what The Left is, and The Left is going to parliament to talk about these values, to fight for these values. And more importantly, we will fight for these values in a new, left-wing government – he added.

18:26

Śmiszek:

If Anyone Thinks of Making Rotten Compromises, the Left and the Young Left Will Simply Not Allow It
- Dear friends, for young people, human rights are like air, and for young people, with whom the Left agrees, human rights are not subject to any compromise. That is why the Left must be a strong element in the new government, so that if anyone thinks of making rotten compromises again, of sweeping something under the rug again, then we, the Left and the young people of the Left, will simply not allow it. Dear friends, we are going for a better future – said Krzysztof Śmiszek in Wrocław.

18:28

Biedroń:

On October 15th, the youth will choose between two civilizations – the black-brown civilization of PiS and Konfederacja, and the civilization of the young who want to live in a free Poland
- Because on October 15th, these two armies will decide, they will truly decide which direction Poland will take. In this election, several hundred thousand young people will vote for the first time. They will go to the ballot boxes and choose between two civilizations: between the black-brown civilization of PiS and Konfederacja, which says 'no' to the EU, but doesn't say 'no' to the Russian Federation at all. A civilization that not only wants to eat dogs like hot dogs, but a civilization that believes a woman's place is in the kitchen and she is part of the household inventory – stated Robert Biedroń in Wrocław. - But there is also the second civilization. A civilization of young people who want to live in a free Poland, who want to live in Poland where we smile at each other. Where we are tolerant, where love means love, and freedom means that we don't need a passport to travel from Warsaw to Lisbon. Where human dignity means respect for everyone, regardless of which generation we belong to - he continued.

18:32

Biedroń:

We Want to Live in a Poland That Belongs to Everyone, Because That's What We Agreed Upon in the Constitution
- And when you ask why you should vote for The Left, why it is so important for us that young people mobilize, that they seize this opportunity that elections offer, the answer is very simple. We want to live in a Poland that belongs to everyone, because that's what we agreed upon in the constitution. The Constitution says: "The Republic of Poland is the common good of all citizens," and this also includes young people – said Robert Biedroń in Wrocław.

Hołownia:

How Dare PiS Claim No Military Politicization After Kaczyński Spewed Venom Against Soldiers?
- The example of Israel shows us that internal weakness, internal cracks provoke external aggression. PiS, as it turns out, was heartening the Polish army. If we are in a situation where our security may be threatened, a history where it suddenly turns out that there are generals in the army who can no longer tolerate the Minister of National Defense, who decided, contrary to regulations, to command the army and direct everything in it with the help of his subservient generals or colonels, then this is a dramatic situation - said Szymon Hołownia in a conversation with Diana Rudnik in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24. - The party must be separated from the uniform, it must be separated categorically. How dare they say such things, that the military will not be used for politics, after Kaczyński, against the backdrop of soldiers in Uniejów, spewed his venom on Tusk and all those who are not from his faction? - he asked.

20:21

Kosiniak-Kamysz on Generals' Departures: "Perhaps they didn't want to sign off on decisions to be made in the near future?"
- As can be seen, military documents could be declassified without any problem. This cannot be said about why [Generals Rajmund Andrzejczak and Tomasz Piotrowski] are leaving? Perhaps they had enough of this entire system feeding off itself? Perhaps they didn't want to sign off on decisions to be made in the near future? Perhaps they were fed up with learning about army purchases from Twitter and not knowing if the equipment proposed had been tested by Polish soldiers? [...] They simply had more than enough of it, up to their eyeballs, and they thanked [us] - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

20:33

Morawiecki on the Debate: I Saw Tusk Get Nervous, Sweat, and Be Completely Shaken

- It's hard for me to assess my competitors other than through what I heard, and here I saw Donald Tusk get very nervous, sweat, and be completely shaken, because when very specific questions were asked, and everyone knew these questions, in the sense of the areas, we all knew exactly the same about what areas would be covered, he couldn't really say anything about unemployment, how to fight it further, about poverty that prevailed during the Third Polish Republic, about pensions, about this whole big social policy - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

20:34

Morawiecki:

Regardless of Who You Vote For, Be It the Left or Hołownia, It's Actually a Vote for Tusk
Others often threw around generalities, but I am truly speaking very unequivocally that regardless of who you vote for, be it the Left or Hołownia, it's actually a vote for Tusk, it's a return to what was in the past, to working for starvation wages, to very high unemployment – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on TVP Info's 'Gość Wiadomości'.

20:34

Morawiecki:

Hundreds of Thousands of Illegal Muslim Immigrants May Soon Depart from the Gaza Strip, Potentially Hiding Terrorists Among Them

- Hundreds of thousands of illegal Muslim immigrants may soon depart from the Gaza Strip. Terrorists could also be hiding among them. Please consider the immense risk we will have to face. PiS is speaking clearly – vote in the referendum, it is a very important democratic act, and those who prevaricate, hiding their actual intentions, plans, and desires, unfortunately, are not behaving appropriately, because we are only asking Poles to express their opinion on the barrier, on the wall at the border with Belarus, and what they think about illegal immigration – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on the program “Gość Wiadomości” on TVP Info.

20:36

Hołownia:

We're Starting from 10-11%. We Genuinely Aim for 12-15%
- This week is absolutely crucial. We are starting today from a level of 10-11 percent. We genuinely expect a result between 12 and 15 [percent]. How do we know this is possible? Because we know what's happening this week. This week, besides the debate and this story today with the generals, we will likely face many more surprises that will occur on the streets, in direct contact - said Szymon Hołownia in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach". - Please also remember that we are – both PSL and Polska 2050 – groupings running under the brand of Trzecia Droga. This is a new brand on the market. People say when they hear "Trzecia Droga": I might not fully know what Trzecia Droga is, but I'm looking for that name on the list, that village head, that activist. Hołownia, Kosiniak, someone - he continued.

20:46

Morawiecki:

The President and I Made the Decision to Issue Appropriate Dispositions and Fly to Retrieve Our Citizens from Tel Aviv

- The arrangements are such that we immediately made a decision with the President two days ago to issue the appropriate dispositions and fly to retrieve our citizens. Poland does not abandon its citizens. During the war in Donbas, 200 or 300 Polish citizens begged to be taken from there. Do you remember how long it took to bring our compatriots back from there? As far as I recall, it was about 2 or 3 months. Here, in 2-3 days, we have already brought back over 800 people to Poland, organizing an air bridge from Tel Aviv to Crete. From there, civilian planes are flying to Poland - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

20:53

Morawiecki on evacuation in Tel Aviv: Lithuanians are our wonderful friends. We will try to help them too

- Lithuanians are our wonderful friends. We have many common topics and our views on strategic issues surrounding us are almost identical, so we will try to help them too. However, first and foremost, it is worth emphasizing that we are cementing our alliance in NATO, and we need it very much in connection with the war in Ukraine and the Russian threat - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

21:01

Mentzen on His Declaration: It Will Be a Very Big Deal, Which I Will Reveal Tomorrow Before Noon

- It will be a very big deal, which I will reveal tomorrow before noon – said Sławomir Mentzen on "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- We have not yet decided whether Krzysztof Bosak will be our candidate for the Marshal. Indeed, such plans are being discussed, and it cannot be denied that among all potential MPs of the next term, Krzysztof Bosak seems to be the best candidate here – he continued.

- I sincerely apologize, but when Waldemar Pawlak was Prime Minister, was he a candidate for the parliamentary majority? Was the PSL the largest club in the Sejm then? – he added.

21:02

Mentzen:

Anyone Who Saw Yesterday's Debate Perfectly Understands Why We Don't Want Morawiecki or Tusk to Rule. Both Should Retire
For many months, we have been stating very clearly that we want to end PiS rule and prevent Donald Tusk from governing. Anyone who saw yesterday's debate perfectly understands why we don't want Morawiecki to rule, nor Tusk to rule, and both Tusk and Kaczyński should retire. We are playing for a completely new hand, we want completely new politics. We want to bury this entire PO-PiS arrangement that has unfortunately been ongoing for 18 years – stated Sławomir Mentzen in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

21:03

Mentzen:

PiS Did Everything They Could to Alienate the Military. For Błaszczak to Issue Decisions Bypassing Gen. Andrzejczak is a Complete Scandal

- The Chief of the General Staff has stopped issuing decisions in the General Staff. Because Błaszczak issued decisions bypassing Andrzejczak, this is a complete scandal – stated Sławomir Mentzen on "Gość Wydarzeń" Polsat News.

- PiS did everything they could to alienate the military, and now a very important matter. I believe it should not be the case that the most important generals in Poland can say from one day to the next that they are resigning from service. Even someone with a contract with a football club cannot leave from one day to the next. Unfortunately, Polish law allows for such a thing – he continued.

- Where did they come from? They came from the Territorial Defence Force (WOT). They promised that by 2019 there would be 53,000 soldiers in the WOT, of which 3,500 would be professional. They didn't deliver on this. It was supposed to be in 2019, and to this day we only have 35,000 (...). What's more, neither one nor the other has ever commanded a brigade, never commanded a division, never even served in the staff of a large unit. What connects these two gentlemen is that they are very politically subservient to PiS – he added.

Mentzen:

We're campaigning all the time, I'm really accelerating at the end, I'll be in 10 cities by helicopter

- We are campaigning all the time, and I am really accelerating at the end. In the last two days, I will visit ten cities. On Thursday, I start in Gdańsk, then I fly to Szczecin, and Łódź. I will be flying by helicopter, otherwise I wouldn't make it, so I will be in Gdańsk, Szczecin, Łódź, Poznań, and Warsaw on Thursday. And on Friday, I will start the day in Lublin, then Rzeszów, Wrocław, Katowice, and we will finish with a big rally in Krakow – said Sławomir Mentzen in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.
