A New PiS Clip:

Don't Let Them Distract You.

- Why is Tusk attacking PiS instead of answering such questions [regarding the migration pact]? - says the narrator in a new PiS clip published on social media.

- They wanted to accept them once before. They will do it again. Don't let them distract you - emphasizes the narrator.

Telus:

I Told Minister Solski We Must Build Mechanisms Together for Exporting Ukrainian Grain

- I don't know how it will all unfold, but first and foremost, I told Minister Solski that we must build mechanisms together. Mechanisms that will ensure this grain and products, because we're not just talking about today, but about the future. And about the future, it's other products, so that they simply go where they should go. That is, where they went before the Ukrainian war. They cannot be transferred across the Ukrainian-Polish border and left in Poland, or even across the Ukrainian-Slovak border. They should go where they went before the war, and such mechanisms can be built – stated Robert Telus on PR24.

- We have already shown that it is possible, because the solidarity corridors that we built are working, and they are working well, meaning they work on the principle that, firstly, [Ukrainian] grain does not enter our market, which is in our interest and the interest of Polish farmers, but not only farmers, our country. And this grain is exported from Ukraine, and we have data for this – he continued.

08:09

Telus:

Farmers are ashamed of Kołodziejczak; he even deceived his closest collaborators
In reality, it is the farmers who are ashamed of Kołodziejczak, and I'm serious about that. Yesterday, I received a call from a farmer who forcefully entered our ministry at the time. He called me yesterday and apologized for it, because he felt used – those are literally the farmer's words. I have his name and surname, and I could verify it legally or in an electoral context if needed. He said he was used by Kołodziejczak, deceived, and abandoned. And he said he'd be happy to meet again and talk like one human being to another, and he apologizes for what happened then. This shows that Kołodziejczak deceived even his closest collaborators, those who were with him – said Robert Telus on PR24.

Moskwa:

We Piloted the "Warm Dwelling" Program
- "Clean Air" has been running for five years and it's working excellently, it's a very good program. We piloted the "Warm Dwelling" program because "kopciuchy" (old, polluting boilers) are not only found in individual houses but also in tenement houses, blocks of flats, multi-family buildings, and it is precisely for these people, for these families, that we have a ready offer, a new offer, and for individual apartments in these multi-family buildings, up to PLN 40,000 in funding, and for communities, up to PLN 375,000 in funding, for those small communities, those not covered by other programs, those not in the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, for three apartments for thermomodernization, for the replacement of heat sources - said Anna Moskwa in an interview with Antoni Trzmiel in the TVP1 program "Political Fifteen Minutes".

08:43

Moskwa:

We've Heard PO Wants to Audit the Nuclear Project; We Invite Them Today, We Have Plenty to Show Off
- This week is a week of good news for nuclear energy in Poland, and we heard yesterday that Civic Platform wants to audit the nuclear project. We invite them to this audit today; we have plenty to show off. The environmental decision, almost 600 pages long, is a decision that will define how the power plant is implemented and operates in harmony with the environment. We have completed environmental consultations with 14 countries; all without remarks, without comments, absolutely signed in agreement - said Anna Moskwa on TVP1. - Yesterday, we signed an agreement and launched the Clean Energy Technologies Center in cooperation with the US government [...] and starting in November, together with the Americans, we will begin training, preparing the Polish market, and preparing Polish engineers for the construction, and then the servicing and operation of the nuclear power plant - she continued.

Privatization of Orlen, Pekao S.A., and PKO BP? Hołownia: That's Petru's Private Opinion. We Absolutely Do Not Believe These Companies Should Be Privatized
- No, that is a private opinion [of Ryszard Petru regarding the privatization of Orlen, Pekao S.A., PKO BP]. He also expresses his private opinions sometimes. We absolutely do not believe that these mentioned companies should be privatized at this moment. I understand that Ryszard Petru may have a different opinion on this matter; we have discussed it. I pointed out to him that if he is part of the Third Way coalition's electoral list, then despite respecting his views, with which I do not always agree, greater consistency is sometimes needed here - said Szymon Hołownia in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on "Gość Radia ZET". - It will not hurt [us, Petru's statement]. I point out that I am the leader of Poland 2050, one of the leaders of the Third Way. Our party has expressed a clear stance on this matter - our priority is not privatization, but rather ordering the situation in State Treasury companies [...], getting rid of cronies [...]. I want there to be no people from Kaczyński's, Hołownia's, Tusk's, or Kosiniak-Kamysz's circles in Orlen, PKO BP, or Pekao S.A. Only specialists - he continued.

09:08

Gawkowski:

I'm Going to the March, Just Like Tens, Perhaps Even Thousands, of Left Alliance Members

- I'm going [to the March of a Million Hearts], just like tens, perhaps even thousands, of people from the Left Alliance. Because I believe the opposition should show that it is united in a common goal, and that goal is simple. To win the elections on October 15th and to win them together, meaning both the Left Alliance, Hołownia, and Civic Coalition should form a government. However, I also believe there is a certain obligation on the part of the organizer of this march. Donald Tusk should invite the leaders of all [opposition] political parties – stated Krzysztof Gawkowski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- I don't expect a meeting for Krzysztof Gawkowski, but I can imagine Czarzasty, Biedroń, Tusk, Hołownia, and Kosiniak standing together on a stage and saying: listen, dear friends, there are hundreds of thousands of you here, on October 15th we will win the elections, and on the 16th we will sign the coalition documents. I would like such a meeting – he continued.

09:09

Hołownia:

I Would Be a Better President Than Trzaskowski
- Yes - said Szymon Hołownia on "Gość Radia ZET" (Guest of Radio ZET), when asked if he would be a better president than Rafał Trzaskowski.

09:13

Hołownia Asked if They Will Withdraw 800+ After Gaining Power: We'll See the Political Climate. I Believe These Funds Should Be Invested in Education, Nurseries, and Healthcare
- After gaining power, will you withdraw the 800+ benefit? Yes or no? - Bogdan Rymanowski asked on „Gość Radia ZET”. - We'll see what the political climate will be for that. I believe we will have to seriously consider it and invest these funds in education, nurseries, and healthcare - Szymon Hołownia replied.

09:14

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

No Agreement Today for Automatic Relocation
- It's good that it [relocation of migrants under the PO-PSL government] didn't happen then; the PSL had its own stance on that decision or declaration. It's good that the European Union withdrew from it; it was a mistake then and it's a mistake today. Automatic relocation doesn't make sense because it's inhumane, inefficient, and doesn't guarantee security - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Robert Mazurek on the program “Morning Conversation” on RMF FM. - It was the wrong decision, but we certainly drew conclusions from it. There is no agreement today for automatic relocation. Something else needs to be done, what we propose as the PSL, as the Third Way for the European Union. We propose an intervention hub for grain from Ukraine and sending it to North Africa to fight hunger, where that hunger causes migration - he added.

09:18

Kosiniak-Kamysz on CPK: Why Was Radom Opened if an Airport 80 km Away is to Open Soon?
- My view is, first of all, a bus to every municipality, a train to every county, modernization of the railway lines we have today, and only then other plans. We are defending farmers who are being dispossessed for Baranów. These are some of the best lands in Poland. It's like Warsaw's granary, and today they need to be defended very strongly - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in RMF FM. - I believe that Okęcie, Modlin, and Radom should be expanded. Why was Radom opened if an airport 80 km [away] is to be opened soon - he added.

09:19

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

With Hołownia, We Will Present Our Proposal for September 30th and October 1st
- We are not [going to the March of a Million Hearts], shortly Szymon Hołownia and I will present our proposal for September 30th and October 1st. 1000 meetings across Poland, our route from north to south. Each candidate will organize at least one meeting this weekend. We are reaching out to those who will not make it to the march in Warsaw. We will be mobilizing for the elections across the whole of Poland. Encouraging people to vote for the Third Way - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on RMF FM.

09:21

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Politicians Should Focus on Polish Security, Not Be Film Critics
- I am not going [to Agnieszka Holland's "Green Border"], the election campaign is the most important thing today, and in my opinion, politicians should focus more on not being film critics, but on taking care of Polish security - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on RMF FM. - I have seen those fragments, and I believe they are untrue and harmful to Poland today - he added.

09:28

Hołownia:

Only One Person Rejoices in Today's Poland-Ukraine Relations - Putin. Poland's Primary Interest is De-escalation
- An escalation has occurred that should not have happened. President Zelensky should certainly have restrained his words somewhat. Some of his statements [...] are hurtful, they should not have taken place. Some emotions are being stirred up there. They are in a very difficult situation, but they should not use such words, such terms should not be used. However, look from our side, such terms should also not be used. Morawiecki goes out, then it has to be corrected, that we will now arm ourselves, and we will no longer arm Ukraine, which the government spokesperson later has to explain - said Szymon Hołownia on "Gość Radia ZET". - This is a crisis measure that should be taken [the Polish embargo]. However, it is a pity that we have reached a point where we cannot treat the patient with antibiotics, but must perform defibrillation and resuscitation. This is neglect. In my opinion, it is very bad. Because, observing what is happening today between Poland and Ukraine, only one person rejoices - Vladimir Putin. The alliance [...] between Poland and Ukraine was a powerful thorn in Putin's side. Today we are drifting apart. [...] What is the primary interest of the Republic of Poland today is the de-escalation of this conflict. Someone has to sit down with someone, express all their grievances, and start to de-escalate it - Hołownia later stated.

09:31

Gawkowski:

Parliament Needs a Majority to Secure a Speaker and Then We Can Fight for Our Government

- Plan B is that snap elections could happen in Poland. And it won't depend at all on who becomes prime minister, but on who becomes the Speaker of the Sejm. Because if we want to form a government, we must consider that if PiS receives a nomination from the president to designate a prime minister – that might happen – then in parliament, we need to have a majority that can secure the Speaker, and once we secure the Speaker, we can fight for our government. So, in reality, we are fighting for whether there will be enough strength in parliament to prevent PiS from electing its own Speaker of the Sejm – stated Krzysztof Gawkowski in Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- We must have our own Speaker in order to fight for anything at all – he added.

09:38

Gawkowski:

Governing with Konfederacja is not in my perception. Sejm Marshal elections follow their own rules

- I have never felt that governing with Konfederacja could happen. It is not in my perception, there are no such events. The elections for the Sejm Marshal, who will be different from the PiS Marshal, follow their own rules. I believe that the election of the Sejm Marshal is possible. I do not want to answer who the Marshal should be. I believe that the political force that wins the elections while in opposition has the right to nominate its prime ministerial candidates, and the puzzle in the Sejm will be different - stated Krzysztof Gawkowski in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

PiS Ad Spot Encourages Participation in "United Behind the Polish Uniform" Campaign
- Everyone remembers these scenes. Millions of Poles showed great support for the uniformed services defending our border, a narrator says in a spot published on PiS's social media. In the background, footage from 2021 is shown, depicting the assault of migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border near Kuźnica. - Unfortunately, some failed this test. Tusk's political-media entourage is going a step further, preparing a film slandering Polish uniformed services, the narrator continues. - Join the social campaign "United Behind the Polish Uniform." ORLEN Group to Build Its Own Oil Press Plant

ORLEN Południe, a company within the ORLEN Group, has signed an agreement for the construction of a modern oil press plant in Kętrzyn, located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The facility will process 500,000 tons of rapeseed annually and produce 200,000 tons of oil destined for the production of low-emission biofuels. This investment will create new jobs and ensure a stable demand for raw materials produced by Polish farmers.

"We have an ambitious development strategy for biofuel production that will position the ORLEN Group as a regional leader in this segment. To achieve this, we are investing in refineries in Trzebinia, Jedlicze, Płock, and Gdańsk, and our latest venture is the construction of our own rapeseed oil press plant in Kętrzyn. The facility will process 500,000 tons of rapeseed annually, meaning it will be capable of processing as much as 1/7 of the country's production of this raw material. By pursuing its business objectives, ORLEN is creating conditions for long-term cooperation with Polish farmers, guaranteeing them a constant offtake of their products. The second-generation bioethanol production facility already under construction in Jedlicze, which will consume 150,000 tons of straw from local agricultural producers each year, also fits into this plan," says Daniel Obajtek, CEO of ORLEN.

The total cost of constructing the press plant in Kętrzyn will be approximately PLN 850 million. The location takes into account the significant agricultural potential of the region and the high availability of raw materials. Construction of the facility will commence in the first half of 2024, with completion planned by mid-2026. The complex will include, in addition to the press plant itself, technological nodes for raw material reception and product dispatch, raw material and product storage, pressing and extraction, technological steam production, and wastewater treatment. The investment will be carried out by a consortium of companies: Polimex Mostostal S.A. and AB Industry S.A.

The facility will produce 200,000 tons of oil annually and will provide ORLEN Południe with full control over the quality of the final product. To produce this quantity of oil, the press plant will consume approximately 500,000 tons of rapeseed, primarily sourced from Polish agricultural producers. National rapeseed harvests in 2022 amounted to 3.6 million tons.

The investment by ORLEN Południe also signifies new development prospects for the city and the region. The press plant alone will create over 100 new jobs, and the operation of the facility will generate demand for additional services that can be provided by local entrepreneurs.

The parameters of the produced oil will allow for its use in the ORLEN Group's facilities. The main recipient will be ORLEN Południe, which produces biodiesel at its plant in Trzebinia.

The press plant in Kętrzyn will be another investment strengthening the ORLEN Group's cooperation with Polish farmers. A second-generation bioethanol production facility is being built at the Jedlicze refinery; it will be the first in Poland and the second of its kind in Europe. Its annual capacity will be 25,000 tons of bioethanol, produced from non-food raw materials, primarily straw. The annual requirement for this raw material, sourced from Polish farmers, will be 150,000 tons.

Biocomponents added to gasoline and diesel fuel help reduce the demand for crude oil, thereby supporting energy independence and increasing the diversification of fuel production sources. The environmental impact is also significant – biocomponents are derived either from renewable agricultural resources or enable the utilization of waste, such as used cooking oils.

The ORLEN2030 strategy foresees that by the end of the decade, the use of biodadditives within the ORLEN Group will reach approximately 3 million tons annually. The concern intends to allocate over PLN 15 billion to achieve this goal. Biogas and biomethane produced from it will complement biofuels. These can serve as raw materials for biofuel production but also be used as standalone fuels, replacing natural gas. By 2030, the ORLEN Group aims to achieve a biogas production capacity of 1 billion cubic meters annually, through investments of approximately PLN 10 billion.

ORLEN Południe is one of the leading producers of biofuels and biocomponents. For years, the company has consistently pursued a transformation project towards becoming a modern biorefinery. In 2021, the company launched the first and largest plant in Europe for the production of ecological propylene glycol at its facility in Trzebinia. ORLEN Południe has also invested in a pilot plant for lactic acid production using microorganisms. Furthermore, the company has engaged in the development of hydrogen technology. In June 2022, the first hydrogen hub in Poland was launched at the Trzebinia facility, from which hydrogen fuel is supplied for refueling buses in the Krakow public transport system.

Tusk Announces 4-Point Plan to Stabilize Polish-Ukrainian Relations
We are finalizing work on a 4-point plan to stabilize Polish-Ukrainian relations. Without emotions, without sentiment, and without resentment, without any positive or negative excitements. It is a very important partner, today it needs help because there is a war, and later it will be a partner with whom relations can be arranged, in Poland's interest - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Konin. I would ask for a quick, immediate reaction from President Kaczyński, Prime Minister Morawiecki, so that perhaps they would start some preparations, but not watching a movie in a cinema - he continued. We have prepared it, on Tuesday we will announce it together with our experts, among whom will be army generals, entrepreneurs, diplomats, and politicians - added the leader of Civic Coalition. I can guarantee in my own name and on behalf of the entire Civic Coalition that even in these difficult matters, in a friendly but assertive, firm manner, we will resolve all these contentious issues with Ukraine. Without war, but without losses for Polish women and men - he emphasized.

11:56

Duda:

Poznań is the Setting for Key Debates on Ukraine's Future After the War

- I am pleased that Poznań is the setting for key debates on Ukraine's future after the war, and I am pleased that Polish entrepreneurs are actively participating in them. Your presence at the congress shows that an independent and modern Ukraine is of great importance to Europe. I wish Ukraine victory, peace on its terms, and fruitful discussions and meetings for the congress participants in this very spirit. I hope that the business cooperation you establish with Ukrainian partners will be fruitful and enduring - stated President Andrzej Duda during the COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress in Poznań.

11:57

Duda:

Poland Has Supported Ukraine Since the Beginning of the War

- Poland has supported Ukraine since the beginning of the war. We are making every effort to help Ukraine not only maintain its independence but also, as much as possible, to sustain the condition of the Ukrainian economy. This is a matter of great importance, also in the context of Ukraine's aspirations for membership in the European Union and the conditions it will have to meet to achieve this, not an easy goal. Ukraine must overcome its post-Soviet legacy through its own efforts. We know what that means; it must combat corruption. We in Poland know what it means to introduce transparent administrative mechanisms in the economy, ensure the rule of law, and introduce climate regulations. In a word, to make very important and difficult changes - stated President Andrzej Duda during the COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress in Poznań.

11:58

Duda:

I Don't Believe One Political-Legal Dispute Can Erase Such Capital and Achievements

- I do not believe that one political-legal dispute can erase the capital and achievements that you have made. I have no doubts. I have no doubts that the dispute over the delivery of grain from Ukraine to the Polish market is absolutely an offshoot of the entire Polish-Ukrainian relations, and I do not believe that under normal circumstances it can significantly impact them. This is a matter that we must resolve among ourselves, where various words are sometimes uttered, sometimes bitter, sometimes perhaps even painful – stated President Andrzej Duda during the COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress in Poznań.

- I would like you to look at this from a human perspective (...). This is a time of great human emotions. Politicians are not made of different material than any other person. They also have their feelings, their perceptions. I am saying all this so that you do not worry too much – he added.

12:02

Tusk:

One Film Screening Means a Few Hundred More Visits [for Migrants]

- One screening of [Agnieszka Holland's] film will mean a few hundred more visits for these people who are making their way to Europe in this manner. I will not stop shouting about this. It is a matter of security, basic decency, and genuine migration policy - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Konin.

I am glad that the 3W idea: water, coal, hydrogen has united 200 partners – scientists and business – to deliver new solutions for future generations, announced BGK President Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka during the Trójmorze Generation Freedom Congress.

12:09

Tusk:

I don't dismiss any poll, and I don't fully believe in any poll. I believe in elections

- Regarding polls, I won't repeat myself anymore, I always have just one comment. I don't dismiss any poll, and I don't fully believe in any poll. I believe in elections, and I always tell my colleagues – don't rejoice when we have very good poll results, don't get discouraged when they are worse. October 15th is the moment when I am convinced that we will all breathe a sigh of relief, and most importantly, Poland will breathe a sigh of relief, because the change that so many are waiting for will happen – stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Konin.

12:11

Tusk:

Duda Spoke the Truth – It's Natural for Him and PiS to Milk State Treasury Companies and Turn Public Media into a Government Mouthpiece
- In a sense, President Duda, I'm referring to his words that it is natural, spoke the truth. For him and for PiS, it is natural to eavesdrop and surveil political opponents, opposition leaders, Polish generals. That public funds are used, that State Treasury companies are milked in an unprecedented way, that public media are turned into a government mouthpiece and into such very brutal propaganda, which also incites terrible emotions. Yes, I fear that for President Duda and for the entire PiS, this is a natural state - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Konin, referring to the president's Thursday interview for TVN24. - For this to again become unnatural, for us not to get used to it, we must remove them from power, because soon it will be that we all truly believe that it cannot be any other way, that in a sense evil is something natural in politics. It doesn't have to be this way - he added.

12:26

Tusk:

If Duda Suggests He'd Agree to Rau's Resignation, It's Primarily Because He Wants to Avoid Responsibility for the Visa Scandal Himself
- If he [Andrzej Duda] suggests today that he would gladly agree to the resignation of Minister Rau, it is primarily because he himself would like to avoid responsibility for the visa scandal – stated Donald Tusk at a press conference in Konin.

12:30

Tusk:

They're acting a bit unhinged. We might soon leave the Schengen Area due to the biggest visa scandal in European history, while they're focused on a film.

- I'd like to bite my tongue, but I have to say that they are acting a bit unhinged. We have a crisis in energy, we don't have European funds, we might soon leave the Schengen Area because we have the biggest visa scandal in the history of Europe, we have a war in Ukraine, 3 million refugees, and they are focusing on a film, which most of them haven't even seen - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Konin.

Trzecia Droga Announces "Democracy Weekend": Leaders' "Grand Tour" Across Poland and 1000 Candidate Meetings
- We also want to announce the events of this grand democracy weekend. On September 30th and October 1st, we are setting off across Poland, embarking on a tour [...]. We're keeping our fingers crossed for the Civic Coalition's march, which will be held here in Warsaw. We will be all over Poland convincing people, showing that a thrifty Poland is possible, instead of a wasteful Poland [...] that finally it will be a country that notices those who have been overlooked until now - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference. - We are planning this route from north to south, and during this time, there will also be 1000 meetings organized by our candidates in the places where they are, where they live, where important things are happening for them. This will be a task that we set for each of them, and during this time, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and I will be on the road from the Baltic Sea to the Tatra Mountains [...] from the Baltic Sea, we are going to Elbląg, that will be the first stop on our route - he continued. - "Enough of arguing, let's move forward" - under this slogan, we are embarking on a grand tour of Poland, from the north to the south of the Republic. We will meet with thousands of our compatriots, because in addition to our tour, in which Szymon Hołownia and I will participate, each of our candidates will organize at least one meeting with voters this weekend, September 30th and October 1st. This is the largest mobilization effort by opposition formations to reach local Poland. Some of these meetings will take place even in the smallest villages, not county seats, not district capitals, not even in villages that are administrative units - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

12:38

Hołownia on Fuel Prices: Either It's a Miracle, or Someone is Trying to Buy Us with Our Own Money
- Either these [fuel prices] are a miracle [...] not the first one, by the way, because we have already observed a complete divergence between prices on world markets and what we see on the pylons at Orlen stations, or someone is trying to buy us with our own money, having taken more from us earlier, to now sell to us for less, before the elections. And there is, of course, a suspicion that when these elections are won by us, prices will radically increase to show Poles that "here you go, it was better with us" - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.

12:41

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Diplomacy was about selling visas, not protecting Polish security
- Diplomacy was about selling visas, not about protecting Polish security. Diplomacy traded in Polish security, rather than selling Polish food on world markets - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

12:47

Hołownia:

I don't know why Rau is still making statements on any matter; he should make just one: I resign from my position
- I don't know why Minister Rau is still making statements on any matter, when he should make one, short statement: I resign from my position. This is something that, I believe, no one in Europe today can comprehend, that people could be admitted to the territory of Poland and the European Union for money, implicitly without necessary checks. [...] Anyone who sold one Polish visa, or allowed it to be sold on a stall somewhere in some country and it could be bought by anyone, should immediately resign, should immediately leave in disgrace, no longer hold public office, and perhaps even stand before the State Tribunal - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.

12:53

Hołownia to Duda: Perhaps there is something you would like to confess to us?
- Does the President want to tell us something about his campaign as well? If you assume, Mr. President, that the stronger are allowed more, and that if one is in power and holds an office, one can use the tools that the office provides and that should serve everyone, for a private campaign, and you recently participated in a campaign as the President of the Republic, then perhaps there is something you would like to confess to us? [...] Were the recent elections definitely not elections in which someone drew strength and advantage from the support of the ruling establishment? - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.

12:55

Budka:

I expect Kaczynski to immediately halt the spiral of hatred and issue orders on regime television

- A man speaking Kaczynski's language, calling me a German, a Nazi, one of Tusk's people, a man whose heart has been sown with this hatred by Kaczynski. It is Jarosław Kaczynski who is responsible for the possibility of tragedy occurring in Poland, and today I expect from Kaczynski that he will immediately halt this spiral of hatred, that he will issue orders on regime television, and that this hysteria will finally cease to be stoked – stated Borys Budka at a press briefing in Katowice.

13:10

Sterczewski:

We See a Propaganda Campaign, Hate Towards the Film. If PiS Had Tools Like Orban, They Wouldn't Fear Overt Censorship

- Recently, we have observed scandalous behavior from Polish politicians from PiS, from the ruling party. We see propaganda campaigns, instigating hate towards this film. We see statements, attempts to discredit this picture even by President Andrzej Duda, who in shameful words compared the film to propaganda from the Second World War. We cannot agree to this, we protest against it. We protest against this symbolic censorship, which is unfortunately proof that if PiS had tools like Viktor Orbán, they would not fear overt censorship – said Franciszek Sterczewski in Poznań.

13:11

Sterczewski:

I wanted to thank those from PiS parliamentary offices for coming, because I have a small gift for them – cinema tickets to "Green Border"
I wanted to thank you very much for the presence of people from PiS parliamentary offices here today, because I have a small gift for them, namely cinema tickets to "Green Border" for next week. Please, all of them are for you, all of them are also for the Members of Parliament from Poznań, for Minister Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, for Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz, for Member of Parliament Bartłomiej Wróblewski – said Franciszek Sterczewski in Poznań.

13:12

Sterczewski:

The great visa trade scheme is a betrayal of the "shoulder to shoulder with Polish uniforms" values
It's about covering up the visa scandal, it's also of course about covering up the visa scandal, it's also about covering up PiS's great hypocrisy. Because what is this great propaganda and beautiful slogan "shoulder to shoulder with Polish uniforms", defending the borders, flexing muscles in the face of seeing a great scheme of trading visas, selling these visas, all over the world really. Granting passage across this border to unauthorized individuals in a scandalous manner. This is a betrayal of the values enshrined on those cards ["shoulder to shoulder with Polish uniforms"], this is a betrayal of public opinion, this is a betrayal of our NATO allies. We demand the resignation of Minister Rau. This is a systemic problem, it is a problem that most likely concerns the entire Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is a great scandal of this government – said Franciszek Sterczewski in Poznań.

Kaczyński on Holland's Film: Preparation to Demolish the Fence and Agree to Relocation
- This is a film ["Green Border"] that can and should be discussed in various aspects. The first aspect is that the film is financed, to a considerable extent, by those who today constitute the foundation, the main forces of the opposition [...] the film has a character that is, one might say, preparation for demolishing the fence [on the Polish-Belarusian border] and for agreeing to the relocation [of migrants]. That is how it should be perceived on a political level, on the level of facts, on a level that is based on an analysis of the current situation, including that which relates to the referendum [...] it is intended to convince some that the entire defense of the Polish border is in fact one great crime - said Jarosław Kaczyński.

- This is only one element of this situation, one aspect. The second is oikophobia. Ms. Holland expresses it both in this film, which has a simply shameful and repulsive, disgusting character, but it is also an element that very clearly appears in her interviews, including those given recently. The hatred for one's own homeland, which is characteristic of many people from this milieu, is something that must be condemned, and indeed with full force [...]. Aligning oneself with the plans of Putin and Lukashenka [...] is simply unprecedented. [...] This dimension, which is connected, relates to the situation of those who, often exposing themselves greatly, defend the Polish border, i.e., the Border Guard, the army, the police. They were presented there [...] shamefully. It is a libel - he continued.

14:47

Kaczyński:

Those Who Make and Support Such Films, Who Receive Them Well and Dismiss Counterarguments with Laughter, Are Essentially Putin's Army

- Those who make such films, who support them, who receive them well, who dismiss counterarguments with laughter, are essentially Putin's army. This must be stated clearly. And here we must also address purely political issues. Namely, 'Shoulder to shoulder with the Polish uniform' – that's what we say. The question is, what does Tusk, the opposition, say? How do they relate to this film? From what can be seen, they relate to it by defending it, by believing that the unfortunate person here is Agnieszka Holland – stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a media statement.

14:49

Kaczyński:

Holland Aligns with Her Milieu, Rooted in the Polish Communist Party and Those Who Served Stalin, a Genocide Perpetrator Like Hitler

- Agnieszka Holland simply aligns with the history of her milieu. A milieu that originates from the Polish Communist Party, from people who served Stalin, who was precisely the same kind of genocidaire as Hitler. Because one cannot differentiate, as a certain lady, who unfortunately still works in a Polish institution, between the death of a Ukrainian and the death of a Jew, a Jew and the death of, for example, a Nigerian. The death of every human being means the same thing - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a media statement.

14:57

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Border protection is the duty of every officer and citizen. Any portrayal creating an impression of aggression from Poland is untrue
- The migration crisis at the border with Belarus was instigated by Lukashenko to destabilize our region and the EU. The protection of Poland's borders is the duty of every officer and citizen. Any portrayal creating an impression of aggression from Poland is simply untrue – wrote the leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL), Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, on Twitter.

15:01

Kaczyński:

Anyone Who Doesn't Take a Stand on All This, Who Doesn't Condemn All This, Finds Themselves on This One, Clear Side. It's the Anti-Polish Side, the Extremely Anti-Polish Side.

- Let us remember that anyone who does not take a stand on all this, who does not condemn all this, finds themselves on this one, clear side. It is the anti-Polish side, the extremely anti-Polish side. It is the side of those who want to turn our country into what I once clearly stated – a condominium of our neighbors, strong neighbors from the East and West, and to change Poles into citizens, a subordinate population. If someone wants to support this, they will have an opportunity in the upcoming elections, but I believe that the vast majority of Poles do not want this and will not support it, and those who act in this way will be morally assessed accordingly – stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a media statement.

15:22

Obajtek:

We will supply 1.8 million kg of hydrogen fuel to MPK Poznan over 15 years. This is the largest project of its kind in Poland.
Over 15 years, we will supply 1.8 million kg of hydrogen fuel for the needs of MPK Poznan. This is the largest project of its kind in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. As part of our strategy up to 2030 for the development of clean hydrogen technologies, including the construction of a network of over 100 stations, we will allocate PLN 7.4 billion. - announced Daniel Obajtek, President of Orlen.

17:28

Morawiecki:

Perhaps Merkel Praised Tusk for His Compliant Policy Towards Russia

- When Putin began his massive rearmament, when he started attacking one country after another – Georgia, Chechnya before that, then Ukraine – it was clear that his evil empire would pursue a policy of conquest, a policy of attacking neighboring states. At that time, any responsible government would immediately do everything to build the strength of enterprises like PZL Świdnik, like all our defense plants. Meanwhile, the governments of our predecessors were entirely different. Perhaps it is for this reason that Mrs. Merkel praised Tusk for pursuing such a compliant policy towards Russia, as we have seen recently in the media. One way or another, it was a completely erroneous policy. We have completely departed from that policy. Our approach to armaments is 180 degrees different from that of our predecessors from Civic Platform. Weapons must be effective, modern, and, where possible, Polish – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in Świdnik.

- Today we have over 170,000 soldiers; a few years ago, it was 95,000 soldiers, which signifies a significant strengthening of our army. Today, our defense plants have production levels that cannot keep up with orders. In the times of Civic Platform, we had defense production being dismantled and employees being laid off – he added.

Wielichowska Announces Rally for Tusk and Trzaskowski

A joint rally for Donald Tusk and Rafał Trzaskowski will take place on Monday.

17:53

Trzaskowski:

This Sets Us Apart from Everyone Else – We Want to Talk About Concrete Matters, About the Future
- Every time during this campaign, I propose a conversation about the future, because I believe we all deserve it, we deserve to calmly discuss our plans for the future. And you see, this is how we differ from our political competition: we have proposed 100 priorities, 100 points for the first one hundred days of governing. We have precise plans for what we want to change, what we want to discuss […]. And this is what sets us apart from everyone else: we want to talk about concrete matters, we want to talk about the future – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin.

18:02

Trzaskowski:

PiS and Kaczyński's Campaign is Based Solely on Hate, with No Positive Aspect
- I try not to mention our political rivals too often, but today, after what we've heard in recent days, it's impossible. It's impossible not to refer to what we are currently observing, ladies and gentlemen. This is because, in the history of Polish political campaigns, there have been instances where we've dealt with incitement against others, where we've dealt with hate speech, where we've dealt with lies and manipulation – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin. - I recall 2005 […], the infamous use of a certain Wehrmacht grandfather. Do you remember that? How to insult Silesians, Masurians, how to insult so many Polish women and men whose ancestors were forcibly conscripted into the German army. […] Back then, it was said under one's breath, and the person whose name I won't mention here was unceremoniously kicked out of the party's headquarters, by PiS and by President Lech Kaczyński – he continued. - Back then, there was a bit of reflection that such manipulations, such cynicism, should not have a place in Polish political debate. And now, look, ladies and gentlemen, at the moment we find ourselves in. We find ourselves at a moment when the campaign of PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński is based solely on hate, solely on inciting against other people, solely on manipulation and lies. There is no positive aspect to it – he emphasized.

18:05

Błaszczak:

The Attack Suspected for Two Years Was Designed in the Kremlin. Unfortunately, there were those on the Polish side as well who fitted into this scenario.
- Thank you for the chain of support, thank you for this strong signal of solidarity with the soldiers of the Polish army, with the officers of the Border Guard and the Polish Police, with the people who guard the border of our homeland every day. They guard against an attack that has been suspected for two years, this attack was of course designed in the Kremlin, it was meant to destabilize our homeland. Unfortunately, it is very sad, but there were those on the Polish side as well who fitted into this scenario. I will speak about Agnieszka Holland's film, but also about these celebrity trips. Two years ago, Civic Coalition MPs came and tried to force Polish border guards to open the border - said Mariusz Błaszczak in Mielnik.

18:08

Trzaskowski:

PiS is Trying to Awaken the Worst Demons: Those Fascist Ones from the 1930s and Those Communist Ones
- We want to talk about the future, about what Poland should look like, and from the other side, there isn't a single sentence about what their proposals are, what can be changed in Poland. There is only primitive hate, primitive manipulation, pure cynicism. They are trying to drag out all the worst things that have happened in our country's history, to awaken the worst demons: those fascist ones from the 1930s, those communist ones, from the worst times - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin.

18:11

Sasin:

We Know Who Stripped This Part of Poland of Defense Infrastructure to Hand Eastern Poland Over to an Invader
- We remember, we know who exposed us to danger, we know who liquidated military units here, who stripped this part of Poland of defense infrastructure, in order to hand eastern Poland over to an invader, should they decide to invade our homeland. We know who protested against the construction of this barrier on the border [...]. Finally, we remember all those, we have this list of shame in our heads, all those who came here to attack Polish officers, to attack Polish soldiers, when they were defending this border – said Jacek Sasin in Mielnik.

18:13

Trzaskowski:

They spat on the entire Polish Army, saying the Polish Army and our generals wanted to sell half of Poland to Putin. An unbelievable lie
- It seemed that if anything, with a war raging on our eastern border, we could speak with one voice here. And what turned out to be the case – that it is more important to try to stir up the worst possible moods and the worst possible emotions, perhaps to gain a few electoral points. Look at what they did – they pulled out secret plans regarding our security, decided to totally manipulate them and try to prove to a part of society that someone wanted to give half of Poland to Putin – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin. - This is something absolutely unimaginable. And these are people who talk about having respect for the uniform. They are also trying to divide us here, lying that the opposition does not respect the Polish uniform. They spat on the generals, they spat on the officers, they spat on the entire Polish Army. By saying that the Polish Army and our generals wanted to sell half of Poland to Putin, by lying in such an unbelievable way – he continued.

18:15

Morawiecki Announces Another Round of Funding for Polish Road Modernization

- The terms "Polish roads" or, as the Germans used to say, "Polnische Wirtschaft" (Polish economy), were derogatory. What is this Polish economy, or what are these Polish roads like – always full of potholes, always bad, always disconnected. This is how it often looked, both during the PRL era and later during the Third Polish Republic. It’s hard to believe, but increasingly, as I travel around Poland, I hear the complete opposite: that finally, these municipal roads, these county roads, resemble normal roads – stated Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

- This is happening because we have invested substantial funds in this area, funds that come from a repaired Polish budget. Today, public debt is under control, the Polish state budget has been repaired, and we are allocating several times more annually, hundreds of percent more annually, to roads, to road safety, to roundabouts, to pedestrian crossings, to sidewalks, to islands, to traffic signals. And I have enormous pleasure to announce here, from this location, another such call for applications. This is another billion zlotys for over one and a half thousand different projects across Poland. Polish municipalities and Polish counties will be even safer – he continued.

- I will remind you that 3 months ago, we received a special award from a European organization dedicated to road safety. The Law and Justice government received a special award from European institutions that care about road safety. Why? Because the number of accidents has decreased, the number of the most tragic accidents with fatalities has also decreased. And that is why we will continue to work very intensively all the time to improve road safety – he added.

18:17

Trzaskowski:

In migration policy, every state could once veto all EU decisions. The Lisbon Treaty, negotiated by Lech Kaczyński with Jarosław Kaczyński, changed this.
- Nobody is asking us to accept hundreds of thousands of refugees, thanks to the fact that we have accepted our brothers and sisters from Ukraine. Nobody is demanding this of us, but it doesn't harm them, they can continue to stir up trouble, they can continue to attack, they can continue to manipulate reality. Incidentally, the truth doesn't bother them either, dear sirs and madams, because look - once in migration policy, every state could veto all EU decisions. The Lisbon Treaty, negotiated by Lech Kaczyński with Jarosław Kaczyński, changed this. It was they who agreed that there is no veto in migration policy. And even the truth won't stop them, because they can try to shift responsibility onto everyone else – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin.

18:23

Trzaskowski:

If the EU Loses Trust in Us, We'll Soon Be Kicked Out of the Schengen Area
- If someone allows for closing the border on one hand, and on the other hand, party cronies to make fortunes by selling visas to poor people in Asia and Africa, then firstly, it is an example of unbelievable hypocrisy. Secondly, it is an example of the weakness of our diplomacy, but dear citizens, this has very important repercussions. Namely, if the EU loses trust in us, we will soon be kicked out of the Schengen area. Soon we will have a border nearby and queues at these borders; these are the consequences of this behavior – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin.

18:32

Trzaskowski:

Recent German and French Proposals to Abandon the Veto in Foreign Policy Are a Very Bad Idea
- Recently, there have been further German and French proposals to move away from the veto in foreign policy. This is a very bad idea, it will solve absolutely nothing. Where is Poland's diplomacy in the European Union, which could propose other solutions? Solutions concerning the budget are being proposed – where is Poland's diplomacy that would ensure large sums of money go to Poland? – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecin. - Fundamentally important solutions for us are being proposed, concerning the fight against the climate crisis. There is no other way if we want our planet to continue to function and not burn up […], but we must take care of Polish interests. It cannot be the case that no one will consider the future of our agriculture, industry, and mining. We must agree with priorities, but fight to ensure our specificities are taken into account in all these plans – he continued.

18:33

Morawiecki in Świdnik: Someone tried to attack me, swift intervention by services. Applause for the officers

- Someone just tried to attack me a moment ago, but I thank the service very much for their swift, efficient intervention. Well done to our officers - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:35

Morawiecki:

Our Political Opponents, Using the Film 'Green Border,' Want to Unleash a Festival of Contempt. They Want to Tarnish the Polish Uniform.

- We are at a special moment when our political opponents, using the film ‘Green Border’ as a basis, want to unleash a festival of contempt. They want to tarnish the Polish uniform. They want to desecrate the honor of the Polish soldier, the officer. What is happening today is an attempt to return to that terrible pedagogy of shame, which you know well, you remember it well from the years 1990-2015, when dominant media outlets smeared the Polish name – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:36

Morawiecki:

They called us Nazis responsible for concentration camps. This was the policy of 'Gazeta Wyborcza,' the media of the Third Polish Republic. It was a disgrace we must defend ourselves against.

Do you remember this? And do you remember how they tried to prove that Poles were to blame for Nazi crimes? They called us, Poles, Nazis responsible for concentration camps. Do you remember this? This was the policy of 'Gazeta Wyborcza,' the media of the Third Polish Republic. It was a disgrace we must defend ourselves against – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:37

Morawiecki:

We are dealing with a peculiar maneuver, an attempt to tarnish the Polish uniform

- We are dealing with a peculiar maneuver, an attempt to tarnish the Polish uniform. Unfortunately, our political opponents have chosen this form of protest, they have chosen these provocations. We see this at ever more meetings. We encourage you to function normally – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:42

Morawiecki to Warsaw Residents: You Co-funded a Film Portraying Poles as Scoundrels

- From this very spot, I call upon Tusk and Trzaskowski, who – shamefully – allocated funds from the budget of the capital city of Warsaw for this film. Let all of Poland hear. This film, dear residents of Warsaw, you co-funded a film that portrays Poles as scoundrels, as a nation of primitives. Think about this for a moment. People, this is something terrible that Tusk and his entire team want to do to Poland. They are spitting in our faces. Everyone, remember the song of our fathers, our ancestors: a German will not spit in our face – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:46

Morawiecki:

Let's not let them convince us of all these vile things, the vilification pouring out of TVN

- Polish nation, let's not let them convince us of all these vile things, this vilification that pours out of TVN, these slanders, this hail of insults that falls upon us. Let's defend the good name of Poland. I call on everyone to do so, in every corner of Poland. Poland is a proud and magnificent nation. We cannot allow this to happen - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:53

Morawiecki:

I want to tell Zelensky never to insult Poles again. Poles will never allow it

- The war for Europe's security is being fought there, in Ukraine. We know this, and that's why we are helping by sending weapons, by organizing the shipment of weapons, because we are primarily arming ourselves right now, but the hub in Rzeszów, a special logistics center, is working, has been working, and will continue to work with our allies. But I also want to tell President Zelensky never to insult Poles again, as he did recently during his address at the UN. Poles will never allow it. And defending the good name of Poland is not only my duty and honor, but it is also the most important task of the Polish government – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:57

Morawiecki:

Tusk is getting weaker, mentally weak, nervously reacts to questions. They will soon replace him with a mini-Tusk, i.e., Trzaskowski

- Tusk is getting weaker now too, mentally weak, he nervously reacts to questions. Look at how he behaves. That's why they will soon replace him with a mini-Tusk, i.e., Trzaskowski. But when they do that, let the entire nation remember: Trzaskowski is not just Czajka, he is not just Berlin, because he said that CPK is gigantomania, after all, in two years we will have a port in Berlin. But Trzaskowski is also the one who co-financed the film "Green Border" - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

18:57

Morawiecki:

We Will Take Unilateral Action to Defend Polish Farmers. I Will Never Hesitate to Make Such a Decision Against Brussels, Against Berlin

- I want to state here that if there is destabilization of other markets, if other agricultural markets are shaken, and the European Commission does not act, we will also take unilateral action, unilateral regulations to defend Polish farmers. I will never hesitate to make such a decision against Brussels, against Berlin, and other capitals – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

19:12

Morawiecki:

When you're deciding whether to go out and vote, remember this film, the quintessence of what's worst in Civic Platform

- When you're wondering whether to leave your home to vote or not, then remember one, single thing, this film, which is the essence, the quintessence of the Third Polish Republic, of what's worst in Civic Platform. It's the quintessence of Gazeta Wyborcza, TVN, and those hostile, and not only foreign, media that tarnish the Polish name - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Świdnik.

19:47

Kamiński:

Budka Experienced Something Scandalous. It's Sadly a Result of the Heated, Pre-election Atmosphere
- Undoubtedly, this did not happen in the context of public appearances by the MP. The MP [Borys Budka] was apparently out shopping and indeed experienced something scandalous, absolutely violent in nature. I say this without irony; the MP reacted very well, he called the police, the police arrived quickly and apprehended the perpetrator. The MP is safe, fortunately, he did not require hospitalization. There were probably no more serious acts of violence, only his phone was destroyed – said Mariusz Kamiński in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń". - These are unacceptable situations; it is unfortunately a consequence of a certain heated, pre-election atmosphere, and we must get this under control – he added. - We must remember that this heated atmosphere causes various emotionally unstable individuals to become active. We, as institutions responsible for the safety of all citizens and for the smooth conduct of elections, must act quickly, efficiently, and effectively. We have two goals – I say "we," but I really mean the police: the first goal is to prevent physical confrontation between political opponents, and the second goal [is] to ensure that everyone running – regardless of the views they profess […] – has the freedom to express their opinions – continued the Minister of the Interior and Administration.

19:58

Kamiński:

Enthusiastic Reviews in Russian and Belarusian Press After Holland's Film Premiere in Venice Are Significant
- For me, the enthusiastic reviews in the Russian and Belarusian press, the regime press, following the screening of this film ["Green Border"] in Venice are significant - said Mariusz Kamiński on "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:03

Kamiński:

I haven't personally seen 'Green Border', but my aide watched it at my request
- I personally have not [seen the film 'Green Border'], however, a political associate of mine watched the film at my request - said Mariusz Kamiński in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:07

Kamiński on Holland: A Polish Citizen Consciously Adopts Belarusian and Russian Narratives on Events at Our Eastern Border
- Here, a Polish citizen consciously adopts the Belarusian, Russian narrative concerning events at our eastern border - said Mariusz Kamiński on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events). - Both of us have seen fragments of the film where the Polish Border Guard, Polish guards, officers are presented essentially as cruel animals. That scene with the thermos, where suffering is consciously inflicted on a person at the border. Drunk officers, only vodka, sex, vulgarities - is this supposed to be the image of the Polish Border Guard? These are completely offensive visions from the director, motivated by political and ideological views, insulting people who defend our security - he continued.

20:13

Gajewska:

The Ruling Party Acts Like Holland's PR Agency. They'll Boost Her Viewership

- The ruling party today is acting as if they were at least Ms. Holland's PR agency, because they are driving enormous viewership for her right now, and people, even out of curiosity, to see what's actually in this film, are going to watch it. But I think it's really not worth discussing the content of a film that most of us don't know at all and haven't seen - stated Aleksandra Gajewska in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".

20:25

Trzaskowski:

We Live in a State Prepared by PiS Where You Constantly Have to Look Over Your Shoulder
I am very saddened by this [attack on Borys Budka]. Please note one thing: PiS today conducts its campaign solely based on manipulation, lies, and incitement. They do not attempt to run any kind of positive campaign. They do not talk about any problems, about the future; they exclusively attack Donald Tusk and Civic Platform, mainly by creating various manipulations and repeating lies. They attack people who try to think independently; they attack independent culture. This is a campaign that is cynically based solely on incitement and on raising extremely negative emotions, and that's how it ends - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on the program “Fakty po faktach” on TVN24.

It is incredibly sad. Friends have informed me that even Agnieszka Holland currently needs protection. This is the kind of state we live in, one prepared for us by PiS, where you constantly have to look over your left and right shoulder because the amount of hate and manipulation unfortunately stirs very bad emotions. Furthermore, if PiS has decided to accuse practically all opposition politicians of being traitors and acting on behalf of another state, if they try to lie and manipulate, revealing the most secret secrets of our state and try to say that generals, officers, and the entire opposition wanted to hand over half of Poland to Putin, then it's no wonder that if someone lies in such a way, it simply evokes the worst possible associations with the 1930s or with terrifying communist propaganda, which evoked the worst demons of our history, and PiS does this entirely premeditatedly - he added.

Trzaskowski:

Kaczyński is Completely Detached from Reality. He Doesn't Understand the World He Lives In

- This is some unprecedented mixture that President Kaczyński is serving us, because on the one hand, it's pure cynicism. On the other hand, it's some, I don't know, Gomułka in strange robes, some terrible complexes, a misunderstanding of reality, a complete detachment from reality, because culture is meant to be free and uncensored – stated Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24.

- What is most unbelievable is that these people don't even hide the fact that they haven't seen the film, yet this absolutely doesn't stop them from making it the main spearhead of their election campaign. They have absolutely nothing to offer Poles. President Kaczyński is completely detached from reality, he doesn't understand the world he lives in at all. He hasn't left his home on his own for 20 years, hasn't gone for a walk, hasn't gone to the shop. He understands nothing, he is immersed in some 19th-century phantasmagoria. He is surrounded by sycophants who are not even capable of having a normal conversation with him, and he is full of venom and cynicism and will do absolutely anything to try and cling to power tenaciously, regardless of the fact that he is destroying the Polish state, destroying trust, destroying society, social capital. He is destroying our credibility on the international stage, everything at once, just to snatch, perhaps, still some small percentage of votes – he added.

Trzaskowski on PiS: This is how detached this crew is – they think everything can be sacrificed on the altar of an election campaign

- They claim that Polish generals and officers wanted to sell half of Poland to Putin, they claim that we are all traitors, that we all work for the Abwehr, they’ve watched too much ‘Kloss’, all that’s left in their heads is communism, they only hand out money to their own, and they think that’s how the world works. This is precisely how detached this crew is – they admit that in their opinion, this is how a state should function, that only their own people should profit, that only their party apparatchiks are looked after, that everything, including the most important national interest, can be sacrificed on the altar of an election campaign – stated Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24.

Trzaskowski:

Instead of negotiating with Ukrainians in the interest of Polish agriculture, they are banging their fists on the table, frothing at the mouth
They claim they are defending the national interest, yet they haven't achieved anything in the European Union, haven't settled anything, haven't incorporated our specifics into EU plans, and aren't negotiating the next budget. To top it off, where there was one sole success, the issue of Ukraine, thanks to which the Polish society's surge allowed Poland to be perceived differently, they are capable of ruining even that, perhaps to gain some electoral point, and unfortunately, the President is participating in all of this – stated Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24. Instead of solving problems in the quiet of offices, negotiating with Ukrainians in the interest of Polish agriculture, they are banging their fists on the table, frothing at the mouth. That's all they know how to do. They are destroying absolutely everything we have gained over the last 30 years – he added.

Kamiński on Intervention Regarding Gajewska: It Would Have Been Enough to Say - I am an MP, I have my ID, I want to show it
- This was not an arrest [of Kinga Gajewska] and the police actions towards the MP were entirely adequate. This person, because for them she was an unknown individual, was disrupting the free course of a legal gathering of her political opponents, using a megaphone. This is a misdemeanor - said Mariusz Kamiński on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń". - If the lady had identified herself immediately, because she was instructed by an officer that she was committing a misdemeanor, that they were asking her to stop, she was asked to show her identification. This lady did not show her ID. [...] It would have been enough to say: I am an MP, I have my ID, I want to show it - he continued. When pointed out that the MP had informed them she was a parliamentarian, which was also confirmed by MP Paweł Zalewski who was present at the scene, the minister responded: Different people can say different things. - She had enough time [to show documents], we were dealing with some kind of spectacle and performance in my opinion - he added.
