At 10:00 AM, the Senate will resume its session and conduct votes on previously considered items. This includes the so-called competency act proposed by the President.

In Szczecin, President Andrzej Duda will participate in the 43rd anniversary commemorations of the signing of the August Agreements. At 10:30 AM, a ceremony will be held for the unveiling of the Monument to the Heroes of January '71, followed by the main commemorations at 12:00 PM.

At 12:00 PM, the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, will attend a briefing on the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border. The Minister of National Defence, Mariusz Błaszczak, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zbigniew Rau, will also participate in the event. After the briefing concludes, the ministers will proceed to the town of Usnarz Górny. Statements to the media are planned for 1:00 PM.

The leader of Poland 2050 will visit Radom. An open meeting between Szymon Hołownia and the residents will begin at 5:00 PM.

At 5:15 PM, a special event will take place at Campus Polska Przyszłości – a debate between the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, and the leader of PO, Donald Tusk.

The Sejm will resume its session at 6:00 PM with a one-hour voting block, during which the members of the so-called verification committee may be elected. Furthermore, MPs are expected to address the aforementioned Senate amendments.

- Two years ago, a hybrid attack on Poland, controlled by the regimes of Putin and Lukashenko, began. Today, no one doubts that it was about destabilizing the situation in Poland. The PiS government has consistently ensured the security of our border from the very beginning. We have built a barrier that stops illegal migrants. The border is defended by soldiers, Border Guard officers, and police officers. They expose themselves to danger from migrants and Belarusian services, but also to insults from opposition politicians and affiliated celebrities - stated Mariusz Błaszczak in a recording published on social media.

- Today, the border is safe. And what was the opposition doing? They organized rallies with shopping bags. They organized happenings. Instead of defending soldiers and officers - they insulted them and sided with illegal migrants. And they announced the liquidation of the barrier. Do not delude yourselves that PO politicians will care about your safety. If they return to power, they will dismantle the barrier. We will not allow them to do that - he added.

- I will not [appear if summoned] because this committee is unconstitutional. Its establishment, the law that speaks about it, all of it is contrary to the law, to the Constitution. For now, we will be against it, because the vote will be this evening. We will be against the establishment of this committee, and we are not nominating any candidate from KO, the opposition - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on RMF FM.

- I know that [Roman Giertych] will march [on October 1st], because he was at many protests and marches that we organized in 2016, 2017, in the previous term. He will be here too. The background, of course, is your question about whether he will run for the Sejm. I think everyone will understand that what is most important today is to be together, that all hands on deck, that the most important thing is to restore democracy, the rule of law, the fight for the rights of women and minorities, and to remove PiS from power - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on RMF FM.

- Yes, I have indeed heard that. He will be asked, urged, and of course, he must talk about it, and he will do so with his head held high. He is a person, a politician with great experience, and he wants to be in this parliament, to defeat PiS. I spoke with him 4 years ago when he wanted to run for the Senate. Today, the situation is even more difficult than 4 years ago, so I understand Giertych's decision - he continued.

- Let's give Roman Giertych a chance to say how he views this issue. I cannot imagine [that he won't], he simply must find a good answer here. This also, of course, stems from his arrangements made together with Chairman Tusk. The matter will be closed today - he added.

- Regarding Roman Giertych, I believe, for instance, that his candidacy for the Sejm makes more sense, because if, after a victorious election, we were to establish an investigative committee, a committee on law and justice, concerning what has happened over these 8 years, then Roman Giertych is precisely the excellent person who could lead such a committee - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on RMF FM.

- The Senate is not an endpoint for my political career. I don't want to end my involvement in politics; I believe I still have many things to do - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on RMF FM.

- This will be announced today [...] during the day, this list [of free medications for youth and seniors] has been prepared over the past few weeks, so that it can be announced immediately after the law comes into effect and be binding from September - said Piotr Müller in Polsat News.

- It's nonsense [that Jarosław Kaczyński confused gross with net when announcing the amount of the 14th pension] [...] this idea was agreed upon with Prime Minister Morawiecki, Prime Minister Kaczyński announced what was supposed to be announced [...] maybe someone who wrote the tweet simply made a mistake, but the chairman's statement was clear, unambiguous, and was accepted as such by the government [...] I deny this information [that Jarosław Kaczyński misspoke and an additional 8 billion PLN had to be allocated for the 14th pension] and on the same day I spoke with the Prime Minister, we immediately confirmed this information, the amount to be transferred was known even before it was announced - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

- In Poland, there are procedures that determine who decides on the validity of both elections and referendums; it is the Supreme Court, and there is a procedure that defines this. I know there are people who think differently, for example, Donald Tusk. He has already invalidated the referendum in the name of the Supreme Court, he said publicly that he is invalidating this referendum, right? So Donald Tusk is now not only the King of Europe, but the Supreme Court - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

- I don't believe in early elections within a few months. I believe that the decisive moment, the political caesura, will be the presidential elections in 2025, that they will in a way close this parliamentary situation that will arise from the October 15th elections - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on RMF FM.

- Frankly speaking, I don't know if this is important, relevant, or what the EC would wish for in this context. I don't really see any provisions of the EU Treaty or the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU that provide a basis for the EC to influence such institutions. The institution of the commission on Russian influence is important, it operates based on an act in accordance with Polish legislation. Moreover, the President said that he hopes it will start operating as quickly as possible, for a long time, and not just, as some called for, rather from the opposition side, that it should only take place in the format of a parliamentary inquiry committee, i.e., until the end of the parliamentary term - stated Marcin Przydacz in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9.

- I value Leszek Miller's opinion, but I would refrain from making statements of this kind if I were him. What I just said about not crossing the aisle in sackcloth from the Left to democracy also applies to Leszek Miller. Let him stop praising Donald Tusk, because it looks a bit like overzealousness – stated Bronisław Komorowski on the program “Gość Radia Zet”.

- Undoubtedly, in this scenario, Third Way and the Left would lose voters. And this is happening. The entire dynamic, the rising and falling ratings of the democratic opposition, can be read as them taking votes from each other. First, Hołownia took from PO, then PO took from Hołownia, and so on – stated Bronisław Komorowski on the program “Gość Radia Zet”.

- I thought that after these changes, which the President brought about, changing this law, the opposition would also change its mind regarding this commission [...]. This is probably a more political move right now, to show that Law and Justice is coming out with a good face, that this commission exists and so on. If it comes to such a situation that they will appoint it, and they will appoint it because Law and Justice has a majority even without my vote – stated Paweł Kukiz in an interview with Beata Michniewicz in the program “Salon Polityczny Trójki” on PR3.

- It's practically September in two weeks, after September, meaning in 6 weeks we have elections, this commission is not able to do it, and the election results can be varied here – he added.

- This stance, this symbolic [rejection of the referendum] by Donald Tusk, absolutely doesn't surprise me. Just recall that in 2004, Donald Tusk himself collected signatures for his own referendum proposal, the '4xtak' [four times yes]. He gathered the 550,000 citizen signatures needed to initiate, strive for, and aspire to have a referendum called by the Sejm. He brought these signatures to the Sejm, and then they were ground up. Later, when Civic Platform regained power, when they had the opportunity to implement these '4xtak' postulates, meaning the will of at least 750,000 people, these postulates were not implemented - stated Paweł Kukiz on the program "Salon Polityczny Trójki" on PR3.

- It's hard to speak of full democracy, of a true democratic state, in a situation where citizens cannot directly ask their own questions and vote themselves. They must always do it through politicians, and politicians will throw inconvenient questions, whether from the left or the right, into the trash because they have that option. And until the people understand this, they will simply live as they live - he emphasized.

- If pro-citizen postulates are included in the United Right's program, then there will probably be a third [tabloid] [...]. This is such an electoral system that it doesn't currently sin with any arrogance, but believe me, this is an electoral system where number one means a 98% probability that a given so-called delinquent, a candidate who is a party candidate and not a people's candidate, will enter the Sejm - stated Paweł Kukiz in the program “Salon Polityczny Trójki” on PR3.

- Paweł Kukiz, until these pro-citizen postulates, for which he has been fighting for at least 23 years, precisely since 2000, since the presidential elections and the candidacy of Jan Olszewski, who among other things had single-member constituencies in his platform, are 100% guaranteed. When I have these postulates, then I will talk specifically about my place. Believe me, I give you my most sacred word of honor, I have never asked the chairman for anything in return for this or that vote - he continued.

- There is a verbal [agreement]. However, I have no reason not to believe the chairman's assurances that it will also be signed and introduced into the program, and this is precisely where the dog is buried. Whether it's only into the Law and Justice program, or into the United Right's program. I will see the chairman today and I hope to convince him of the second option, of the program of the entire United Right, and not just Kukiz'15, Law and Justice - he added.

- The medication act, which will allow many more people to receive medications for free, especially those in more difficult financial situations, meaning our seniors, our grandmothers, grandfathers, who can no longer earn extra. They cannot work overtime and earn more, because they have already worked a lot in their lives [...] This program, which we implemented a few years ago, 75+, meaning free medications for seniors over 75 years of age, is being expanded. We are expanding it in such a way that it covers all seniors who have reached the age of 65, but also because the budgets of young married couples, young families are sometimes strained by the purchase of medications, antibiotics for children in case of misfortune, like chronic illnesses affecting families. Therefore, in this act, in line with earlier promises, we have also introduced the possibility of receiving free medications for children from birth to 18 years of age, i.e., until the child becomes a young person - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a Facebook Live session.

- Altogether, when we look at the number of medications available, we are talking about nearly 4,000 for seniors, 3,800 medications. This is much more than before. I will add that the range of medications has been expanded. And for children, hundreds more, certainly over 1,000 medications are also free. Together, this adds up to a number exceeding 4,000 free medications, for sure - emphasized PMM.

- This is possible thanks to the fact that the reformed system of public finances allows for the allocation of a larger pool of funds precisely to healthcare, and I have already spoken about these record expenditures on healthcare. We also want to implement this act on free medications earlier, from September, so that people can benefit from free medications as quickly as possible, even before the autumn season - he added.

- Over 600 organizational units, but among them serious, large military units were being closed down by the Civic Platform government and Mr. Klich, Siemoniak, ministers of national defense, who emphasize that yes, these units were being liquidated. At this spot, I refer to that spot. You can hear there that they were carrying out Prime Minister Tusk's orders. That was the strategy, that was the philosophy of Civic Platform. Closing police stations, they closed over 400 police stations and dismantling military units – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a Facebook Live session.

- I encounter opinions from generals, but I also know about documents that, in fact, state that the defense doctrine of the Republic of Poland involved retreating and defending the Vistula line, meaning a significant part of our country, a large portion of our country, would very quickly find itself under Russian occupation. And this is something that is absolutely unacceptable – he added.

- Security is the foundation and the beginning of everything. That is why we are allocating such high amounts from the budget, from the repaired Polish state budget, to internal security, to the police, to the Border Guard, to the State Fire Service, but also to the Polish Army, specifically to the external borders and for the defense of external borders, so that all Poles can sleep soundly. So that they know that we will defend Polish borders – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a Facebook Live.

- Around this time, two years have passed since Lukashenka's attack on Poland's eastern border, through which he wanted to expose its weakness. A few months later, Donald Tusk said that the barrier we decided to build would not be erected within a year, nor within three years. Representatives of Civic Platform insulted the Polish uniform, they encouraged the opening of these borders. So now, all esteemed ladies and gentlemen, both supporters of Law and Justice and opponents, please consider. How would Poland look after these 2 years if the barrier hadn't existed. If the Civic Platform's policy had been one of allowing illegal migration dictated from Brussels. If it had been a policy of admitting illegal migrants from Belarus. Lukashenka was preparing tens of thousands more. I spoke with the Prime Minister of Iraq at the time, I know perfectly well what Lukashenka was planning. Through diplomatic actions at the prime ministerial and ministerial levels, we managed to stop this large influx, but above all, we stopped this large influx with our decisive counteraction against the provocations of Lukashenka and Putin – added PMM.

- From the very beginning, we wanted to establish a commission on Russian influence in Poland. We believe it should be created. There was a specific deadline set by Madam Marshal Witek for submitting candidacies until 8 PM yesterday. As PiS, we submitted our representatives to this commission. I know that indeed one of the professors changed his decision and resigned, but I also know that we will nominate another candidate in his place, because we have a great many candidates and willing individuals, specialists who know this area very well. The deadline set by Madam Marshal is until 4:30 PM, and today we will supplement our list of candidates with another person – stated Rafał Bochenek at a press conference.

The PiS parliamentary club has nominated Józef Brynkus as a candidate for the so-called verification commission – the State Commission for the Examination of Russian Influence on the Internal Security of the Republic of Poland between 2007 and 2022.

Previously, Marek Czeszkiewicz withdrew his candidacy. The selection of members will take place today, in a voting block after 6 PM.

- We will present 100 specifics for 100 days in September, on September 9th, but first, we must make this great change, and here I earnestly ask you. I am a faithful student of that Wałęsa from those past years, who was obsessed with the need to win, that one cannot give up, be a soft-hearted idealist, that this is a serious, difficult fight, a heavy labor. One must use various methods. So I want to tell you that I will do everything to win, not to arrange your lives, so that the freedom and democracy for which my generation fought will also be your share – stated Donald Tusk during the Poland of the Future Campus.

- I want to honestly tell you that this commitment, regarding partnership unions, seems achievable to me and I consider it a priority, a task for the first 100 days. Same-sex marriages with all their resulting consequences and controversies are a much more difficult project, and I'm not sure if a majority will be found for that in the next Sejm – stated Donald Tusk during Campus Polska Przyszłości.

- You want to fight Putin's influence with Putin's methods, but in reality, those who have been implementing Putin's agenda in Poland for the past 7 years will face this commission, a true commission to investigate Russian influence. Your Minister of Defence will face it, who dismissed experienced NATO generals from the army, and did so through the hands of a common criminal. The minister overseeing state assets will face it, who led to the construction of Ostrołęka, throwing 1.5 billion PLN into the drain just to import Russian coal. Finally, the prime ministers who led to you making Polish energy dependent on coal from the East will face it - stated Borys Budka in the Sejm.

- And finally, the prime minister who, just a few weeks before the aggression on Ukraine, was building a pro-Putin international with Salvini, Orban, and Le Pen will face this commission - he added.

This man has done all sorts of things over the past dozen or so years, and, frankly, I'm surprised Tusk, who has strongly veered left, took Roman Giertych onboard. This is a man who once proposed creating a list of one hundred Polish homosexual politicians, who always spoke out against abortion. - Roman Giertych is definitely more radical than I am. For several months now, I've been listening to the hate directed at me from the Civic Platform because I don't always agree with them on worldview matters, and yet the people who insult me are putting Roman Giertych on their lists. This is very strange. I don't know how Tusk intends to explain this to his voters - he continued.

- Perhaps for Giertych, his views are not an obstacle to conducting politics. Perhaps he is capable of voting for things he doesn't even agree with. In the end, it wouldn't be strange, because Donald Tusk is also a person for whom views are not very important and he is capable of adopting things he probably disagrees with - he added.

- We definitely have a problem here with Hołownia. I don't know if he's illiterate, a liar, or doesn't understand what's written in our program, or if he consciously lies and tries to mislead public opinion. There is no health voucher of 4300 PLN in our program. This amount is simply the sum actually spent on one Pole by the National Health Fund (NFZ). Our postulate regarding healthcare is simply the decentralization of the NFZ and the introduction of competing external insurance funds - stated Sławomir Mentzen on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

- I [don't assume they will end up in the psychiatric hospital in Choroszcz], I mean, also. although I still assume they'll end up in Sztum or retire in Ciechocinek. I don't know how the situation will unfold yet. - I think this is a rhetorical question. Primarily, it was those who led the reset with Russia, and Donald Tusk and his ministers were its architects. Just as they fear accountability for cooperation with Russia, they also fear referendum questions, because they truly have a hidden agenda, and unfortunately, hidden objectives they pursued many years ago. Among other things, [raising the retirement age], they've already done it once, just as some politicians from that side are openly talking about it, just as they are saying, for example, that there shouldn't be a barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

- There is a hidden plan behind this. It's not that this lack of participation in the referendum is accidental. They don't want Poles to decide this, because they themselves want to decide. In short, they want the ability to raise the retirement age, to eliminate the barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border, the possibility of wide-scale privatization, and these are the topics being raised in the referendum because they want to do these things and that's why they are calling for non-participation in the referendum – stated Piotr Müller on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

- Janusz Kowalski should stop talking nonsense and lying, and frankly, it would be better for everyone if such people weren't listened to. This election campaign should also show that for him, after the elections, there should be no place in Polish politics. He is solely deceiving society - said Michał Kołodziejczak in a conversation with Monika Olejnik on "Kropka nad i" on TVN24.

- I was never close to Confederation, to the people who today would most readily abolish all taxes in Poland and say that the best thing we can do is go back to the Stone Age, or even further – Michał Kołodziejczak said on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

- You know, today, civil partnerships are associated by people only and exclusively with, for example, homosexual relationships. There are many people who wanted them to exist. I won't stand in anyone's way, nor break anyone's spine, whether it's to be this way or another. In politics, I really have my own specific matters to attend to - said Michał Kołodziejczak on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

- I know that there are different women in Poland. I know that they have different views, and I would never want to decide for anyone, let alone judge what their beliefs are. I would like to give people the freedom to make a choice with full awareness - said Michał Kołodziejczak on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".
