„There are three main areas regarding amendments to this law. The first concerns the rights of doctors themselves, and ensuring there are no blunders like sending female doctors who gave birth the day before to work in hospitals on emergency duty. The second issue concerns hospital management and what obligations are imposed on hospital directors. It’s not just about looking good on paper. It’s about the system created by the Sejm actually working. The third type of amendment stems from our legislative proposals: concerning universal testing of medical professionals, possibly teachers, and social welfare homes (DPS-s)” - said the head of the Civic Coalition club, Cezary Tomczyk, at a press conference.
