- The coalition has made a decision regarding the reduction of VAT and excise duty on fuels. The government is meeting today on this matter, as announced by Prime Minister Tusk. Therefore, demonstrating the coalition's efficacy and consistency, we wish to inform you that as soon as the draft bill is submitted, which should be around 6:30 PM, I have decided to convene the Convention of Seniors. At this convention, we will expand the agenda of this Sejm session to include the processing of two bills – one concerning the excise duty reduction and the other the VAT reduction - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- These bills will be processed today from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, then MP Cichoń was informed, and a request was made to him to convene a committee urgently. The Finance Committee will prepare these draft bills for the second reading. The second reading will take place tomorrow at 9:30 AM, the third reading at 11:30 AM, and decisions will be made in this Sejm session - the Marshal of the Sejm continued.

- Simultaneously, we are in contact with the Marshal of the Senate, who will convene, it is of course her decision, the Senate for tomorrow. We want to prepare everything so that the bills are signed and handed over to President Nawrocki tomorrow - he added.
