Tusk on Newly Elected Constitutional Tribunal Judges:
They Will Swear the Oath One Way or Another.
"We stand by the position, and I think it is quite logical, that the President does not have a choice here, because it is not a matter of the President's whim. They have been elected and they are judges. One way or another, they will swear the oath" - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference, when asked about a situation where the President would not swear in the newly elected Constitutional Tribunal judges.
"I am convinced that sooner or later it will reach the President that co-responsibility for the state is neither a party game nor some ambitious whims. We are here to make life easier for everyone in Poland. And this means making decisions in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, quickly and efficiently. When there are no political mutual grievances, when there are no other reasons, the President should sign the decisions made either in the Sejm or by the government, without unnecessary delay." - he continued.
