Müller:
After yesterday's Political Committee meeting, it's safe to say we're heading towards the end regarding coalition matters and government structure changes
- Final agreements are not yet in place, so naturally, there are no ready-made motions for dismissal or appointment. Besides, preparing such motions doesn't take too long, so they don't have to lie on the Prime Minister's desk in advance. But indeed, after yesterday's [PiS] Political Committee meeting, it's safe to say that we are heading towards the end, both concerning coalition matters, meaning maintaining the coalition, signing a coalition agreement, and regarding changes in the government structure - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".
07:57
- It's a very likely scenario [that Jarosław Kaczyński will enter the government], but the final decision, whether he actually wants to become Deputy Prime Minister, rests with President Jarosław Kaczyński. Let's hope [that he decides to do so]. For us, it would undoubtedly be a major strengthening. A committee for internal affairs and defense, or some other name, I'm referring more to the scope of work, i.e., internal affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and national defense, a committee where actions could be coordinated and supervised under the leadership of President Kaczyński would certainly bring about many good changes - stated Piotr Müller in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24.
08:02
Müller:
If the United Right Leader Decides PM Morawiecki Stays, It Signifies Trust
- If the leader of the United Right, meaning Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, decides that Mateusz Morawiecki will remain Prime Minister, it also signifies trust in Prime Minister Morawiecki. However, a certain area requires specific changes and coordination, and we've seen it over the past few weeks where emotions are highest and need to be cooled down – stated Piotr Müller in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24.

If Kaczyński Becomes Deputy Prime Minister, the Prime Minister Will Undoubtedly Feel Stronger, Having a Former Prime Minister and Leader of the United Right in His Government Overseeing a Crucial Area

Szczerski:
President Expects Governing Coalition to Deliver on Promises of Calm, Stability, and Effective State Reform
“The President expects the governing coalition to deliver what was promised to the voters, namely calm, stability, and effectiveness in reforming the state. Every step that brings us closer to a stable and effective government, which fulfills electoral promises, is a step in the right direction. The President awaits the conclusion of coalition talks based on a new agreement, for a new shape of the government” – said presidential minister Krzysztof Szczerski on Radio Jedynka.
08:19
Nitras:
Kaczyński's Strategy is an Absolute Defeat. It Turns Out Ziobro Not Only Isn't Giving Anything Up, But His Power is Stronger. This is Because Morawiecki's Power is Much Weaker.
08:20
Szczerski:
It's good for the new government's shape to emerge clearly from the outset, avoiding gradual changes and constant personnel reshuffles
"It's good for the new government's shape to emerge clearly from the outset, to avoid gradual changes, to avoid the constant making of subsequent personnel changes, so that we can truly speak of one, renewed Council of Ministers as a result of a new coalition agreement. This is what the President expects," said presidential minister Krzysztof Szczerski on Jedynka radio.
08:21
Szczerski:
The Personal and Organizational Shape of the Council of Ministers is Always the Prime Minister's Decision
“
The personal and organizational shape of the Council of Ministers is always the Prime Minister's decision. It is the Prime Minister who has the right to choose his collaborators, it is the ruling party that has the right to delegate its representatives to the coalition government
” - said presidential minister Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Radio Jedynka.08:21
Müller:
There are many areas where she can function. The Prime Minister evaluates Emilewicz's performance and work well, but there are also political decisions stemming from coalition parity.
08:21
Szczerski:
Kaczyński's Entry into the Cabinet Means a Chance for Effective and Stable ZP Government. Kaczyński Wouldn't Join a Caretaker Government
„Jarosław Kaczyński's entry into the cabinet means there is a chance that the ZP government will be effective and stable. President Kaczyński would not join a caretaker government. If President Kaczyński is joining the current government, which will emerge after a new coalition agreement, it means he believes this is a government that has a future and a chance to carry out reforms stably and effectively” - said presidential minister Krzysztof Szczerski on Radio Jedynka.

Who Proposed Kaczyński for Government? Ziobro Was the First to Publicly Say It
08:27
- I hope we finally sort ourselves out. I agree with your view that this has been going on far too long. We've been absorbing public opinion with internal affairs for too long. I think our voters expect us to formulate an alternative to the ruling camp – said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.
08:32
Nitras:
I Respect and Like Neumann, But I Get the Impression He Enjoys the Show of This Leadership Election – The Longer It Lasts, The Better He Feels
- I really respect and like MP Sławomir Neumann, but I sometimes get the impression that he rather likes the spectacle of this [club leadership] election, in which he is reportedly going to run, because we'll see today. He seems to enjoy it, and the longer it drags on, the better Sławek Neumann feels within it. I believe this is counterproductive – said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.
08:43
- The bill is a parliamentary initiative ["Five for Animals"], so the government doesn't really have much to assume or not assume as such. These signals, as you say, from the President are also not entirely clear to me, because I don't truly know what the President is concerned about. The words he has spoken can be interpreted in various ways. It simply seems that he doesn't like this law. Yes, but the question is what specifically he doesn't like. At least, I don't know that - stated Łukasz Schreiber in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".
08:49
- I wouldn't want to be malicious towards a former prime minister, after all. I have respect, although I hold different views from Leszek Miller on many matters. And I could throw the ball back, asking what genius led, for example, Robert Biedroń's campaign, what role Leszek Miller played in all of that, or a few other things. For me, Leszek Miller is a person who should remember how much harm Zbigniew Ziobro has done in public life in Poland - Sławomir Nitras said on Radio ZET.
- And that's why he ran on the joint European Coalition list to the European Parliament? - Lubecka asked.
- I will say this quite honestly. If I were making the decision in this matter at the time, people with such long biographies in a formerly communist party would certainly not be candidates for the Civic Coalition or Civic Platform - he replied.
08:53
Sobolewski:
We indeed have a plan for a new coalition agreement to become a reality by the end of the week, and to begin implementing its provisions next week.
- As reported by 300POLITYKA... It's difficult for me to comment on such an excellent source. However, I can only confirm that yesterday we held deliberations of the PiS Political Committee presidium, where we evaluated the negotiated coalition agreement, and we indeed have a plan for a new coalition agreement to become a reality by the end of the week, and to begin implementing the actions that will also be included in the new coalition agreement next week - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus, when asked about yesterday's information from 300POLITYKA regarding the government reconstruction.
- Everything will be clarified by the end of the week. A week has 7 days, so we still have almost 3 days - continued the chairman of the PiS Executive Committee.
08:55
Nitras:
Finally, We Will Be Able to Truly File a Motion of No Confidence Against Kaczyński
- The biggest mistake of the decision to enter the government is that we will finally be able to truly file a motion of no confidence against Kaczyński, and I will gladly file such a motion, I will gladly justify such a motion, and I will gladly see how such a motion is voted on in the Sejm. This is the best aspect of this decision - said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.
09:00
- Regarding whether the president [Jarosław Kaczyński] will be in the government, the president himself will inform about it, and I would not want to get ahead of him and speak on his behalf. Everything will be clear by the end of this week. If the president makes such a decision, he will announce it personally, and here, in this situation, amending the Act on Departments would indeed be necessary - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.
09:06
- With all due respect to the President, the Party Leader does not need to consult such matters with the President. And here I can only refer to the Constitution on issues such as appointing deputy prime ministers or ministers. As far as I know, and I want to emphasize this immediately, there were no such consultations on this matter. Of course, there are other matters that need to be discussed, but on this particular issue, the Party Leader does not need the President's consultation or consent - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus, commenting on Błażej Spychalski's statement yesterday to Polsat News.

Nitras:
Szejnfeld's Vote Exemplifies Internal Strife within Civic Platform; Some Colleagues Prefer Internal Matters Over Criticizing PiS Rule
- If we can remove Ziobro, then for this moment, it is worth living, and it is our duty to throw a spanner in the works of this bad coalition, and that is how Ziobro's motion should be treated. We will see how the debate unfolds, we will see what the outcome of this vote will be. I would not prejudge it. However, Adam Szejnfeld's vote is for me an example of this very internal turmoil within Civic Platform. The fact that some colleagues prefer to deal with internal matters rather than highlighting how PiS governs Poland. I would recommend to the experienced parliamentarian, a former MEP, whose voice on external matters, not concerning internal life, is truly missed. Adam, focus on that - said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.
09:23
Sobolewski:
Budka's Leadership Isn't Working Very Well
- As for the opposition, their words, especially from Borys Budka, who is about to lose the head of his parliamentary club, and has 5 candidates for the PO club leadership... He made announcements, but what does that indicate? It indicates... There has always been a leader, but someone wanted to be a leader in such a way that they would be both the party leader and the club leader. As it turns out, Borysław Budka's leadership isn't working very well - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.
09:30
Sobolewski:
If Assumptions Hold, New Coalition Deal This Week, Actions Next, Opening Door to Legislation
- Everything will be a result of the new coalition agreement. We hope that if we manage to adhere to the assumptions we have, that by the end of the week there will be a new coalition agreement, and next week there will be initial actions, I emphasize initial, stemming from the coalition agreement, including those related to the government's structure, and this will then open the way for us to submit specific legislative projects in the Sejm, having a stable parliamentary majority behind us, and we will then inform about which [projects] will be introduced first - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.
- If there is a new coalition agreement, I do not rule out that this is also a matter for this autumn. This matter, broadly speaking, the media. Broadly speaking, the word media - he continued, adding that the continuation of judicial reform is also planned.
09:34
Lichocka:
As Far As I Know, the Media Deconcentration Act is Part of the Package Being Finalized by ZP Leaders
„All of us journalists, who think in terms of freedom of speech, are keen on changing the situation on the media market in Poland, on there being more entities, so that a few large media groups do not dominate, groups that try to impose limitations on public debate, shape this public debate, distorting, moreover, what is most important, what should concern all of us, Poles, in this discussion. We are dealing with a large share of foreign capital. I am speaking here primarily about German activity on the Polish media market” - Joanna Lichocka from PiS said in TVP1’s “Kwadrans polityczny” (Political Quarter of an Hour).
„I think we need to wait for the announcement of the reform package that ZP intends to implement, and we will see which option wins. As far as I know, yes [the media deconcentration act is part of the package being finalized by ZP leaders]” - she added.
09:34
Sobolewski:
I Don't Rule Out Changes to the Political Parties Act Regarding Subsidy Distribution
- I don't rule out changes to the political parties act concerning the distribution of subsidies. I don't rule it out, I don't confirm it, I don't deny it, that this will also be one of the amendments, because here, an amendment to the political parties act is all that's needed - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) is expanding its offer to include loans for local governments funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB). The initiative focuses on attractive loans for financing investment programs implemented by cities.
By the end of 2023, Ostrów Wielkopolski, a city of 70,000 inhabitants, will undertake over 100 investments totaling PLN 250 million. The city has secured very favorable support amounting to PLN 110 million from the European Investment Bank through Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. This loan will enable the realization of the "Ostrowski Ekspres Inwestycyjny" (Ostrów Investment Express), a sustainable development program for the city. The transaction with Ostrów Wielkopolski is a pilot project for a joint BGK and EIB initiative for medium-sized cities. This will provide medium-sized cities with access to EIB funds, which are cheaper than those currently available on the market. In Ostrów Wielkopolski, thanks to the support of the European Investment Bank via Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, a bold investment program can be implemented in a rational and secure manner. This will result in further sustainable development of the city. We are adopting a new, ambitious financing instrument. I believe that only bold, yet prudent decisions offer medium-sized cities a chance for a civilizational leap, allowing them to provide comfortable, safe, and attractive living conditions. This determines the energy and potential of cities, fostering the retention and attraction of new residents. Our vision for Ostrów's development aligns with the goals of the European Union and the European Investment Bank – says Mayor Beata Klimek. BGK's mission is to support the socio-economic development of the country, of which local governments are an important participant. We help local governments achieve long-term and sustainable development. The project for Ostrów Wielkopolski is a pilot of a joint BGK and EIB program. Thanks to it, medium-sized cities will be able to implement ambitious investment programs to improve the lives of their residents. Negotiations with the EIB are ongoing, so we will be able to provide more details about the project later – says Włodzimierz Kocon, Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. – It is precisely public investments – governmental and local government – that will be extremely important for the economy now and will stimulate private investment projects. – adds Kocon. Since the first loan for Katowice over 20 years ago, the European Investment Bank has supported around thirty Polish cities in their development and revitalization plans. We allocated over EUR 4 billion for loans within urban projects in Poland between 2015 and 2019. – said Prof. Teresa Czerwińska, EIB Vice-President responsible for operations in Poland. – Today, our partner is Ostrów Wielkopolski – for the first time, we are providing support to a city with fewer than 100,000 inhabitants. We are doing this in cooperation with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, our long-standing partner on many projects in Poland. Our common goal is to enable all cities, large and small, with a credible plan, to access favorable financial conditions needed to create better infrastructure and an ecological environment for their residents. We plan to achieve this goal within the framework of a new program developed by the EIB and BGK, which will provide financing to a wide range of medium-sized cities across Poland – adds Czerwińska. Ostrów Wielkopolski is the first city in Poland with up to 100,000 inhabitants to benefit from this solution. The investments planned in Ostrów Wielkopolski aim to improve the quality of life for residents, protect the climate, and strengthen economic development. Projects include the construction of new kindergartens and housing, new roads, sidewalks, and bicycle paths. Electric buses powered by green energy produced in the city will be purchased.11:17
Andrusiewicz:
1587 Coronavirus Infections. A Record High. This Isn't the Result of Large Outbreaks. It's the Result of Our Return to Normalcy, to Everyday Functioning
“The highest [result] in the history of coronavirus infections - 1587 cases. The most today are in Mazovia, close to 300. Close to 250 in Małopolska, but also 160 in Kuyavian-Pomeranian, and above 100 in Pomeranian and Silesian voivodeships. What we emphasize once again and inform about daily, this is not the result of large outbreaks of infection. This is the result of our return to normalcy, to our everyday functioning in the reality surrounding us” - said the Ministry of Health spokesperson, Wojciech Andrusiewicz.
11:17
„Today, there are many more [interpersonal] interactions. These outbreaks are dispersed. Often they are outbreaks from home parties, family gatherings. Often they are outbreaks from healthcare facilities. We are dealing with a series of smaller outbreaks in workplaces. We cannot say that one outbreak dominates” – said the Ministry of Health spokesperson, Wojciech Andrusiewicz.
11:19
Andrusiewicz:
Health Minister to Propose Further Restrictions in Red and Yellow Zones Regarding Social Gatherings
“The Health Minister will propose restrictions in red and yellow zones. It is most likely that these new restrictions will appear in the near future. These will be restrictions concerning social gatherings and contacts. Certainly, additional restrictions due to the number of cases appearing will follow in the coming weeks” - said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Wojciech Andrusiewicz.
11:29
Andrusiewicz:
Conference next week on our short-term forecasts
- We emphasize one thing. These results must be taken into account. We predict that these results will be maintained. Certainly, next week we will invite you to a conference concerning the forecasts we have for the nearest period of time - stated Wojciech Andrusiewicz at a press briefing.
12:20
Trzaskowski:
We Will Focus on Investments and City Development, But Due to Government Non-Assistance, Difficult Decisions Lie Ahead
- We will continue to focus on investments, we will continue to develop our cities, but unfortunately, in the context of the government not helping us, we must be prepared for difficult decisions. That is why we cooperate with each other, that is why we present a common stance, that is why we try to consult these most important decisions together – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a conference of the presidents of the cities of the Polish Metropolises Union.
12:25
President Andrzej Duda shared details of his meeting with Pope Francis on his Twitter account.
“We talked about how every person, within their capabilities, can strive to act to always and everywhere pursue peace. This idea also guides my decisions,” the President wrote.
The Head of State also published a photo from the meeting in the Vatican. Duda was accompanied by his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda.
The meeting took place on September 25, 2020, during President Duda’s visit to Italy. The President was in Rome for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Solidarity movement. During his visit, he also met with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and President of the Council of Ministers Giuseppe Conte.

PAD:
The Holy Father Thanked Me for Remembering Other Societies in These Difficult Times. For the Aid We Provided to Italians, Which Came Here to the Vatican
- We discussed the situation in Poland, the coronavirus pandemic. The Holy Father thanked me for remembering other societies, other nations, in these difficult times. For the aid we provided to Italians, for the aid that reached the Vatican here, but also for the aid that went from Poland to the Eastern Partnership countries, to the Western Balkan countries - President Andrzej Duda said during a press statement in the Vatican.
14:26
14:39
- The pandemic is not receding, but it is under control in our country. I have emphasized this from the very beginning. There is no shortage of hospital beds or ventilators. An adequate supply has been prepared for this. However, there is no point in hiding the fact that I have spoken with the Chief Sanitary Inspector, and I am in constant contact with him. Some time ago, he told me that precisely during this period, the end of September, the second half of it, and until mid-October, they expect an increase in the number of infections. Due to returning from holidays, due to people meeting each other, and therefore more frequently now, due to returning to work, due to the start of the school year, and thus the start of education in schools. These were inevitable processes because the fact is that the coronavirus pandemic exists, but I also said during my conversations here in the Vatican today that we have managed to relatively, very well control this pandemic. There was not a single situation of a real crisis. There has never been a shortage of hospital beds in Poland. No one has ever lacked a ventilator, and generally, people are getting over this coronavirus relatively mildly, so one needs to be very careful, especially the elderly who have so-called comorbidities. We must take great care of such people. We must support these people – said President Andrzej Duda during a statement to the media in the Vatican.
14:40
- However, there is an increase in cases, but I repeat once more. We are still in control of this pandemic. There is no threat of an outbreak today. It is simply an increase that was predicted, and we can probably expect further increases until mid-October, as I have been informed. We expect flattening from mid-October - said President Andrzej Duda during a statement to the media in the Vatican.
15:28
- Rafał Trzaskowski, eager to escape issues related to investments and the budget, very readily initiates and manages worldview conflicts. One of the arenas for this conflict previously involved the issue concerning LGBT, the so-called LGBT declaration, and the entire baggage of problems associated with it. After all, it was Rafał Trzaskowski who introduced it onto the debate agenda. However, a second, decidedly more outrageous example of the conscious and deliberate initiation of worldview conflicts in Warsaw is the issue of Rafał Trzaskowski's and his subordinate officials', his deputies', stance on a matter very important to us, namely the presence of the Catholic Church, as well as other religious communities, in public spaces and in the social life of our city - stated Błażej Poboży at a press briefing.
"An example of such a negative attitude towards this presence was a very symbolic case, namely the Christmas Eve meeting of Warsaw councillors last year, which for the first time in history took place without the participation of clergy, and it's worth noting that it had always been a meeting of an ecumenical nature. A second example of actions aimed against the presence and significance of the Roman Catholic Church, primarily, was the reduction in the amount of subsidies granted by the Jan Paweł II Centre for Thought for scholarships for the most talented youth. In our assessment, Trzaskowski's dislike for the patron of the Jan Paweł II Centre for Thought stood behind this decision. And finally, today, a third, outrageous example. Namely, Rafał Trzaskowski's deputy, Mayor Kaznowska, in a letter addressed to all directors of Warsaw schools and educational facilities, in a veiled yet unambiguous manner, reminds or points to the necessity of eliminating all symbols, as well as clergy, from ceremonies organized in schools. The ceremonies that Mayor Kaznowska refers to include, among others, issues related to the opening of new buildings and schools. This is another, the third case, in our assessment, of combating the presence of the Church in social life."

The Sejm is currently holding a session where discussions are taking place regarding the leadership of the Civic Coalition (KO) parliamentary club. Two individuals are reportedly being considered for the position of club leader. Details on this internal political development are emerging as parliamentary proceedings continue.
19:46
Tomorrow at 12:00 PM, a joint statement will be made by the leaders of Law and Justice (PiS), Jarosław Kaczyński, Accord (Porozumienie), Jarosław Gowin, and Solidary Poland (Solidarna Polska), Zbigniew Ziobro, along with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The announcement was made via Twitter by the PiS spokesperson.
19:48
- Already today, speculation arose in the Sejm, because it was Kaczyński himself who introduced this custom; before him, it wasn't the case that ministers would stand when the Prime Minister entered. The only solution I see now is for them to coordinate each time so that Morawiecki and Kaczyński enter simultaneously, because otherwise they have a problem. Should they stand for the nominal head, or the de facto head – said Radosław Sikorski in an interview on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.
19:51
Bielan:
I am convinced that the United Right will remain united, and the past dozen or so days will be just an unpleasant incident in our coalition's over 6-year history
- I am convinced that after the negotiations, which have probably just concluded, an agreement will be reached. The United Right will remain united, and the past dozen or so days will be just an unpleasant incident in our coalition's over 6-year history - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Piotr Marciniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
20:03
Bielan:
The most important things right now are government reconstruction and a precise governing plan, because that's what Poles are primarily interested in, not the fight for spots on the 2023 election lists.
20:11
- The Prime Minister is, of course, the most important person in the government. However, it often happens that a Deputy Prime Minister also heads a committee, whether economic or social, or – as I suspect will be the case for Jarosław Kaczyński, should he join the government, and I hope he will – the committee for security, stated Adam Bielan on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
When asked why Jarosław Kaczyński is joining the government, the PiS MEP replied: - For many years, your station has maliciously referred to Jarosław Kaczyński as a rank-and-file MP. For years, TVN has claimed it's an unhealthy situation for Jarosław Kaczyński, as the head of the largest party and our camp, not to be in government, so now you should be happy that Jarosław Kaczyński will finally be in the government.
20:24
- Above all, I appeal to maintain caution and wear that mask. I know it's cumbersome, but please adhere to the norms that have been introduced, that we do indeed use masks in all enclosed spaces, especially in public places - said President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Danuta Holecka on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.
20:30
- These types of decisions are naturally made within the framework of the United Right, because it is the United Right that forms the government. I do not hide the fact that I was aware of these plans, and have been for quite some time. I believe this is a solution that will increase the transparency of the functioning of the United Right and the government – said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.
20:30
- I'm glad an agreement is coming. That's what matters most. In fact, I see absolutely nothing extraordinary or unnatural in this whole situation. Please remember that the United Right is not one single party. It's three parties. Of course, PiS is overwhelmingly the largest, but the other two parties also count - said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.
20:31
Gowin:
We've Finalized the Last Details of the Coalition Agreement. Tomorrow at 12:00 PM We'll Sign It, and Likely Next Week or Early the Week After, a New Government Will Be Formed
- It [the meeting at Nowogrodzka] wasn't ad hoc, it had been planned since the day before yesterday. We've finalized the last details of the coalition agreement. Tomorrow at 12:00 PM we'll sign it, and likely next week or early the week after, a new government will be formed - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's program “Sprawdzam”.
20:36
Gowin:
We Will Be Responsible for One Ministry, and We Will Also Have a Second Representative in the Council of Ministers. This Will Be a Minister in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Responsible for Cooperation with Local Governments
- The decision [on entering the government] will be made by the authorities of the Agreement party. Because they will decide who will occupy one, or rather not one, but both ministerial positions allocated to our party. Because we will be responsible for one ministry, and we will also have a second representative in the Council of Ministers. I will let you in on a little secret here. Yes, this will be a minister in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister responsible for cooperation with local governments - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on the TVN24 program "Sprawdzam".
20:40
Gowin:
If the Party Leadership Decides So, I Will Take on the Task of Leading the Ministry of Development, Significantly Expanded
- On TVN, I have repeatedly seen and heard opinions that I have lost control of the party, so I am not prejudging anything, but I can say that if such a decision is made by the party leadership, I will undertake the task of leading the Ministry of Development, a ministry significantly expanded compared to its already considerable size. Yes, the Minister of Development will have the rank of Deputy Prime Minister - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's program "Sprawdzam".
- In line with the logic of a modern economy's functioning, the Ministry of Development will absorb the labor department. This is because we should view labor as an element of the economy, not social policy - he continued.
20:41
20:48
20:50
– It’s good. I think it’s an interesting idea [Jarosław Kaczyński joining the government], still unresolved. The final decision will rest with Chairman Kaczyński himself, but in my opinion, it would be a very good solution. No such declaration was made, but I believe Chairman Kaczyński is very close to a decision. The final government composition will, of course, be decided and announced by Prime Minister Morawiecki – stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on the TVN24 program “Sprawdzam” (Let’s Check).
20:59
Gowin:
In 2015, I urged Kaczyński to become Prime Minister
- I can lift the veil a little and reveal that in 2015, after we won the elections for the first time, I urged Jarosław Kaczyński to take on the role of Prime Minister. However, he decided to entrust this position, this office, to Prime Minister Szydło, and in this coalition, it is obvious, unquestionable, that the main party, thus PiS, designates the Prime Minister. Jarosław Kaczyński anointed Mateusz Morawiecki three years ago.
