Stop Manipulation! I believe that any coronavirus vaccination should not be mandatory, just as flu vaccinations are not mandatory. Regarding other diseases (polio, tuberculosis, scarlet fever, etc.), that's a completely different matter. A different

Horała:

President Clearly Stated Conditions for Debate, Not Afraid but Won't Accept Pre-arranged Scenarios

- I know nothing about that [that the president is not interested in debating Rafał Trzaskowski]. What's more, the president already participated in two debates during the first round, which has never happened before for an incumbent president. However, there was a proposal now where the president was summoned like a student to the carpet, for a debate prepared by TVN and several friendly media outlets, and of course, by the friendly Rafał Trzaskowski. In that format, no, a debate must be mutually agreed upon, and if such a debate were to happen, there are still a few days left. The president clearly stated that if, for example, all three major television stations agreed among themselves, he would come to such a debate. The president is not afraid of debates, but he is not afraid of setups where the opponent's campaign team defines everything about how it should look and for what the president should come. That was simply unfair – stated Marcin Horała in TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:06

Horała:

A Warsaw municipal employee appeared as a journalist at Trzaskowski's debate, so his employee.

- And at this debate of Mr. Trzaskowski, a worker from Warsaw's municipal institutions appeared as one of the journalists, hence his employee. He no longer works [at Najwyższy Czas], or he still works there, but in a separate capacity, he works for the Warsaw municipality, perhaps in one of the district offices - stated Marcin Horała on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:08

Szydło:

We've had Duda's debate with residents in Końskie and Trzaskowski's campaign press conference in Leszno
"We have had Andrzej Duda's debate with residents in Końskie and Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign press conference in Leszno. The event, the press conference organised by Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, was a conference organised by the candidate's campaign. The debate, in which the President participated, was a debate organised by TVP, in accordance with the television's statutory obligation," stated PiS MEP Beata Szydło on Jedynka radio.

08:18

Szydło:

Poles Know Social Programs Were Needed and Successful. Cynically, for Campaign Purposes, Trzaskowski Says Today: 'I Will Keep Them.' I Don't Believe It, and I Think Many Poles Don't

"Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform Rafał Trzaskowski is trying to show Poles that this is already a different Rafał Trzaskowski because there's a campaign, Poles know that social programs were needed and have proven successful, and they expect them to remain. Cynically, for campaign purposes, Rafał Trzaskowski is saying today: 'I will keep them.' I don't believe it, and I think many Poles don't believe it, because when he was in the ruling coalition government, he could have done a lot of good for Poles regarding social programs, and he didn't do it" - said PiS MEP Beata Szydło on Radio One.

08:19

Nitras:

We Were Prepared for Absolutely Any Provocation in Końskie, Which is Why We Proposed a Completely Different Format

- One cannot legitimize lies and falsehoods in this way. We were prepared for any provocation, absolutely any provocation in Końskie, and that's why we decided, I prefer to speak about it honestly, to propose a completely different format - said Sławomir Nitras in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

08:28

Sasin:

Comparing the two debates, Duda's appearance in Końskie overshadowed what we saw in Leszno

When you compare these two debates, it seems that President Andrzej Duda’s appearance in Końskie completely outshone what we could see in Leszno. Rafał Trzaskowski lacks credibility in his actions. Trzaskowski meets with journalists and declares he will answer every question. We could see the true face of Trzaskowski a few weeks ago in Płock, when he was asked a question by a local journalist and said that these elections are meant to prevent such questions from being asked” – said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:30

Nitras:

Everything bad TVP can do to Polish democracy, it has already done

- If Radio ZET, if any radio station brings Andrzej Duda before free media that ask questions, Rafał Trzaskowski will definitely show up, regardless of whether it's in Końskie, Leszno, or any other town. We are not afraid, Trzaskowski is not afraid to answer questions from independent journalists - said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.

- But is he afraid to answer Michał Adamczyk's questions then? - asked Beata Lubecka.

- And is Mr. Adamczyk an independent journalist? Is TVP an objective television? We have been, Rafał Trzaskowski cannot say he hasn't been on TVP, he has been on TVP. He answered questions. We all know he was asked about Holy Communion and other sacraments, not about matters most important to Poland. All possible provocations from TVP in this campaign have already happened. Everything bad TVP can do to Polish democracy, it has already done. Let's not give them a chance to manipulate again. To be clear, if Mr. Adamczyk is the representative of TVP at a debate where journalists from other media can also ask questions, Rafał Trzaskowski will also show up - replied Nitras.

08:37

Sasin:

We Can't Just Sit Down with Germany and Demand Reparations After Decades. The Issue Exists in Polish-German Relations, Though No Formal Government Stance Yet.

"It's not as if today, after several decades, we can just casually sit down with Germany, dismiss the issue of reparations, and say, 'Pay up.' These are actions being taken on many levels: in the media, in discussions between Polish and German politicians, it is present. Formally, there is no government position, no negotiating stance, but the issue is constantly raised in conversations, it exists in Polish-German relations" - said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin on RMF FM.

08:39

Nitras:

I'm Not Aggressive, I'm Simply Effective

- The situation at Czajka looked like this. There was indeed a planned conference by Rafał Trzaskowski, and they [the ministers] burst into Czajka after a scuffle, of course unfilmed, with security guards, pushing their way through the guards, two gentlemen ministers who wanted to disrupt Rafał Trzaskowski's conference - said Sławomir Nitras on Radio ZET.

- I am not aggressive, I repeat for the umpteenth time and I would ask you not to accuse me of that, I am simply effective - Nitras added, addressing Lubecka.

09:35

Trzaskowski:

The Ruling Party Allegedly Preparing to Abolish Districts. This Would Fit the PiS Philosophy of Destroying Local Governments, Limiting Their Prerogatives

In recent weeks, I have spoken clearly that the ruling party is hiding a great many facts. First and foremost, the condition of the Polish economy. Consequently, there have been reports of tax increases. We directed questions to the ruling party on this matter. Recently, disturbing reports have emerged in this regard. Serious press titles are reporting that the ruling party is allegedly preparing to abolish districts. This is very worrying news for me as a local government official. If it is true, it would fit the PiS philosophy of destroying local governments, limiting their prerogatives. PiS is already doing this now through faits accomplis” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, at a press conference in Leszno.

09:43

PM Morawiecki on the State Budget: In June, we have 3% Higher Revenues than in June Last Year

- In June, we have 3% higher revenues, in June of this year, mind you, than in June of last year. And June of this year was a very poor June for the entire world. Therefore, this demonstrates that the economy is rebounding, consumption is picking up, and indeed, consumption picked up by several percent in June. Exports are also picking up – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Oborniki.

09:44

Trzaskowski:

Mandatory Vaccinations for Children Are Absolutely Necessary. Those Who Oppose Them Seem Out of Touch with the 21st Century

I cannot fathom these kinds of statements. I have previously heard that the President is unsure if humans influence climate change. Now he is speaking about vaccines. Very strange statements. I am saying out loud that vaccines for children are absolutely necessary. All experts agree on this. I don't know why the President makes such statements” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of the Civic Coalition for President and Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, at a press conference in Leszno.

Mandatory vaccinations for children are absolutely necessary. Those who oppose them seem out of touch with the 21st century” - he added.

09:51

Müller:

Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccine is Under Discussion, State Funding is Certain

- The package of mandatory vaccinations includes vaccinations that protect children and adults from very serious diseases; these vaccinations should remain mandatory. However, the issue of a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine, which doesn't even exist yet, is indeed under discussion as to whether it should be mandatory or not. It should certainly be co-financed by the state, if such a vaccine were to appear - said Piotr Müller in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno Sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

09:56

Müller on Maintaining Senate Amendment Regarding Tourist Vouchers for Retirees and Pensioners: I Don't Rule Out Such a Possibility

- First and foremost, we are currently analyzing the financial consequences of this. We are looking at the tourism industry as a whole, so if it turns out that these financial resources would be proportionate to the aid needed for the tourism industry, then such a decision will be made. I do not rule out such a possibility - said Piotr Müller on Radio Plus.

09:58

Trzaskowski:

Mandatory Childhood Vaccinations Are a Global Standard. As for a Coronavirus Vaccine, It Doesn't Exist Yet. No One Should Force an Adult to Take Such a Vaccine

Mandatory childhood vaccinations are a global standard. As for a coronavirus vaccine, it doesn't exist yet. It's difficult to talk about any solutions. No one should force an adult to take such a vaccine, but let's wait and see if these vaccines will be available or not, and how the epidemiological situation will look in the coming months and years. I find it hard to imagine a situation where the government forces adults to get vaccinated” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, at a press conference in Leszno.

10:02

Schetyna:

Elections Can Be Lost in Końskie, and Andrzej Duda, which I sincerely wish him, loses the election after a rigged debate in Końskie, which we saw yesterday

- I am a supporter of debates, but if a debate is to make sense, it must be fair and the presidential candidates participating in it must have equal chances. And such a debate could have been organized, if the organizers were the three largest television stations + other media, and that was possible, it was on the table. And Andrzej Duda refused this proposal. Andrzej Duda said: no, I don't want such a debate, I don't want a normal debate, I want a rigged debate, organized by TVP, to which I gave 2 billion PLN with a signature. This is the truth about what happened yesterday. So I think, yes, it's true, elections can be lost in Końskie, and Andrzej Duda, which I sincerely wish him, loses the election after a rigged debate in Końskie, which we saw yesterday - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Polityczny Salon Trójki".

10:08

Schetyna on President's Vaccination Remarks: If it Affects Polls, PAD Might Agree to a Debate, with Thursday or Friday Being Ideal

- If the situation arises where the losses resulting from yesterday's disastrous statements and remarks about a ban or lack of support for mandatory vaccinations have an impact on election polls, then I believe there is a possibility that Andrzej Duda, chasing Rafał Trzaskowski, with Rafał Trzaskowski escaping, might agree to a debate, and then Thursday or Friday would be the best time to conduct such a debate - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon".

10:14

Müller on Smartphone Tax: The President's Announced Veto Effectively Closes the Matter

- At this moment, the government has not yet adopted such a bill. I think the matter of the president's announced veto effectively closes this topic. The President said he would not agree to these regulations, so if there were a clear declaration from the President, it would be difficult to proceed with such a bill - said Piotr Müller on Radio Plus.

PMM:

He's Rafał, Forgetful Rafał. He Also Forgot He Attended Pride Parades

- I wanted to say something about Rafał. Well, there's Rafał, Forgetful Rafał. Let's call him that. He forgot that he has been a political activist for 15 years already, over 15 years in the Civic Platform. All the time on the PO's websites, he is the Vice-Chairman of PO. Thus, he is of PO's blood, of PO's bone, a political activist. A man from Mr. Balcerowicz's, Mr. Rostowski's stable. A turbo-liberal. Be careful with Mr. Rafał, because he is forgetful. He also forgot that he attended pride parades, but yesterday, during the debate with the III RP journalists' salon, he remembered and unintentionally blurted out, answering more or less this way to the question of whether adoption of children by homosexual couples would be allowed. I thank you for reminding me of this, supporters of Mr. Rafał, that there should be adoption of children by homosexual couples in your opinion. Well, he said that he is against it, but you know, everything changes. Dear compatriots, if this is not cynicism, if this is not a preview of deception today, then I don't understand Mr. Rafał's words any further – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Chodzież.

PMM:

Germany Supplies Warsaw with Electricity, France with Heat, Italians and Turks Build the Metro. Is This How Poland Should Look, Mr. Rafal?

- Do you know how it is in Warsaw? Well, electricity is supplied by Germans. Heat is supplied by the French. It recently came to light that public transport services are also partly operated by Germans. Trams are built by Koreans, the metro is being built by Italians and Turks. Do you think, perhaps, that bicycle rental services are Polish? No, bicycle rentals are also German. Is this how Poland should look, Mr. Rafal? - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Chodzież.

Latest Campaign Ad: Ordinary Poles on the Presidential Stand, Andrzej Duda with Trump and Schwarzenegger, and a Call: 'There's Room for Everyone Under the White and Red Banners. Long Live Poland!'
- We are asking what Poland will be like in the future. It's a strong Poland, it's family, it's work, it's dignity. That's what these elections are for. Poland will be led on a path of development, or it will be diminished. We will be proud when we can leave young Poles a Poland that is safe, honest, that knows how to support and protect the weaker, and doesn't have to fear the strong - says Andrzej Duda in one of the latest campaign ads. The ad references a spot from Duda's previous, victorious campaign. - There's room for everyone under the white and red banners. Long live Poland! - says Andrzej Duda. The spot from the victorious 2015 campaign ended with the call: "The Future is Called Poland!". The ad is maintained in very solemn registers. Snippets of Andrzej Duda in historical locations, or during the most important international meetings such as with Donald Trump, or during the climate summit with Arnold Schwarzenegger, are interspersed with shots of an ordinary Polish family, or an AK (Home Army) veteran on the presidential stand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhmPd-7Q2t4  - This is a television spot, not an internet spot, so it's a very important ad, one could say, crowning this campaign, including the television campaign. An ad that clearly shows the choice Poles will face - said Adam Bielan during a press conference of the president's campaign headquarters.

14:31

Bielan:

The Advertisement Clearly Shows the Choice Poles Will Face This Sunday
This is a television advertisement, this time it's not an internet advertisement, so it's very important, one might say, it's the culmination of this campaign, also the television campaign. An advertisement that clearly shows the choice Poles will face this Sunday - stated Adam Bielan at a press conference. - We must answer the question on this final stretch, what are we truly deciding in these elections. We have tried to talk about this throughout the campaign, a rather long one, as you know. Our candidate has spoken about it, he has contrasted his vision of Poland with other candidates, the candidate from Civic Platform, other contenders, and this is a summary of what we will be voting for or against this coming Sunday. What kind of Poland do we want. Do we want a Poland that is proud, brave, united, sovereign, and free of complexes, which can have a partnership with its neighbors and global powers, or do we want a Poland where there is no money for anything, which has to beg, is being rolled up, eliminates the most necessary things for Poles, not only large things but also, as some say, things around the corner, like post offices, police stations, which simply does not act in the name of the citizen. What kind of Poland do we want, that is the question we all must answer and vote for the kind of Poland we would all wish for - Radosław Fogiel continued.

14:32

Bielan:

Trzaskowski chickened out yesterday. He had a chance to answer questions that trouble Poles, but he chose the Warsaw salon.

- We wanted to express regret that a debate will not take place between the first and second rounds of the presidential election. As we know, yesterday TVP, as the only broadcaster legally obliged to organize and conduct debates before every election, invited both candidates who made it to the second round of the presidential election to a town, to the town of Końskie. Why Końskie? As we recall, but perhaps not all viewers know this, Grzegorz Schetyna, the long-time leader of Civic Platform, once famously stated in an interview with Marek Migalski in 2016 that elections in Poland are not won in Wilanów, a luxurious district of Warsaw, but precisely in Końskie. Yesterday, Rafał Trzaskowski chickened out. He had the opportunity to face President Duda in Końskie, a town representing provincial Poland, and answer the questions that trouble Poles, but he chose the Warsaw salon. He chose to meet with journalists, he fled from the debate. We regret that, as a result, a debate will not take place before the second round - stated Adam Bielan at a press briefing.

President Duda: The Constitution Mandates Special Care for Families and Children by the Polish State; That's What We're Building Now, and Have Been for Five Years
The Polish constitution, in Article 18, mandates that the family be under the special care of the Polish state, and that children be under the special care of the state. And today, ladies and gentlemen, they are. This is precisely the Poland we are currently building, but only for the last five years. The family is indeed at the center of attention and under the special care of the Polish authorities, the Polish state. This, ladies and gentlemen, is five years of just construction of Poland, based on the principle of balanced and equal development. This means that investments are not only going into a few large cities in Poland, as PO used to do, but that investments are happening throughout our country, and attention is being paid to every part of it. This, ladies and gentlemen, is also a plan for the coming years – said President Andrzej Duda in Suwałki.

14:37

President Duda: Economic Growth to Reach 2016-2019 Levels of 4.3% in the Coming Year, Recovering Losses in One Year
- It is also predicted that next year our economic growth should return to the level we had in the years 2016-2019, meaning 4.3% GDP. In essence, this would mean that the losses that have occurred would be recovered, practically speaking, within one year - said President Andrzej Duda in Suwałki.

Latest Video: Trzaskowski Silently Honors Home Army Nurse and Briefly Comments on Others' Memories of Him. 'Democracy Reigns at Home,' Says Małgorzata Trzaskowska, to Which He Responds: 'Authoritarian! My Wife's!'
'Hardworking, a born leader, and at home? Democracy reigns at home,' says Małgorzata Trzaskowska, to which her husband, the presidential candidate, watching this statement on a tablet, responds with laughter: 'Authoritarian! My wife's!' In Rafał Trzaskowski's latest campaign video, various people speak about the candidate, and he briefly comments on their remarks. 'He didn't have it easy, a Warsaw native, five languages. But it doesn't matter what language he speaks, what matters is what is said,' states Trzaskowski's father-in-law. 'I treated Rafał like an older brother,' says Michał Żebrowski. 'Michał looks more like my older brother!' Trzaskowski laughs. A moving scene occurs when a Home Army nurse speaks about what he did for the Uprising heroes' community as the Mayor of Warsaw, and Trzaskowski, without comment, silently pays his respects to her. https://youtu.be/o0kkCq9YHSA

Trzaskowski:

Duda's Absence as Defender of Polish Teachers is the Biggest Sin of His Presidency

"Today, the ruling party is weakening opportunities for equalizing chances and solving local problems in rural Poland with their actions. Firstly, the issue of education. What the ruling party has done, the chaos they have introduced into Polish schools, this attack on teachers, is unprecedented. All teachers, regardless of whether they are from a small town or a big city, do not agree to be constantly attacked. Unfortunately, the ruling party cynically tries to deepen or even initiate divisions in Polish society. The fact that the President was absent as a defender of Polish teachers is perhaps the biggest sin of his presidency. Also, that he agreed to the destruction of Polish schools and the introduction of chaos" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of the Civic Coalition for President and Mayor of Warsaw, in Łagiewniki Kościelne.

15:19

Trzaskowski to PM: Before you say anything, before you incite people against each other as usual, reveal your full assets and ensure complete transparency of your finances

Prime Minister, before you say anything, before you pull out your phone and use various rhetorical tricks, before you incite people against each other as usual, reveal your full assets and first ensure complete transparency of your finances. Let's start with that, because otherwise you have no moral right to judge anyone else” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Łagiewniki Kościelne.

15:25

Trzaskowski to PMM: Your calling today is not to campaign. I am on vacation. I don't know if you are. It looks like you're organizing conferences with public money from our taxes.

Get to work. Your calling today is not to campaign. I am on vacation. I don't know if you are. It looks like you're organizing conferences and campaigning with public money from our taxes,” said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, in Łagiewniki Kościelne.

16:18

President Duda: Thank You for High Turnout in the First Round, But We Need at Least the Same, and Hopefully Even Higher, in the Second
I am asking you for your support, for your choice. Because I believe that this kind of policy is precisely what Poland needs for the coming years. And that is why I am asking you to go to the polls next Sunday, to cast your vote, but also to persuade your families, your neighbours, your friends, everyone you possibly can and manage to persuade - President Andrzej Duda said in Augustów. I thank you all for the excellent turnout in the first round of the elections, but we need at least the same, and I hope even higher, in the second. I ask you to encourage everyone to participate - the president added.

16:45

Trzaskowski:

They Promised Judicial Reform to Speed Up Courts, But They're Slower; Promised Press Freedom, Yet We Keep Falling in Rankings. This is the PiS State.

"They promised that they were undertaking judicial reform to make the courts function faster, yet the courts are functioning slower. They told us they would reform healthcare to shorten queues for specialists, but according to all statistics, most of these queues are actually lengthening. They spoke of opening more highways, but it turns out they are opening significantly fewer highways than previous governments. They promised greater press freedom, yet in all rankings, we are falling further down, and it turns out there is less and less freedom for the press and media. This is what the PiS state looks like today" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for President from the Civic Coalition and Mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Gniezno.

16:50

Trzaskowski:

My Dream is a Community of Freedom Lovers, Free from Hate and Contempt, Full of Love and Respect

My dream is a community of people who love freedom, a community free from hate and contempt, a community full of love and respect. My dream is happening right here and now. The most important thing is that we are capable of rebuilding this community. Even if politicians argue with each other, we are learning to talk to each other again” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Gniezno.

17:06

Trzaskowski:

It's really close. All polls show we're neck and neck

It's really close. All polls show that – as it's commonly said – we are neck and neck. Perhaps a few hundred, perhaps a few thousand votes will decide who wins. Perhaps it is you, gathered in Gniezno, who will decide who wins, which is why it is so important that all people who love a free, self-governing, and civic Poland go to these elections” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of the Civic Coalition for president and the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Gniezno.

PAD Campaign Staff on Bus Accident: We Appeal to Trzaskowski to Urgently Appear in Warsaw and Initiate a Review of Procedures, Non-compliance with Which Threatens the Safety of All Warsaw Residents

- As it turns out, the driver of the public transport bus was under the influence of intoxicating substances. This unfortunately allows us to conclude that all of us who are in Warsaw are exposed to danger. All road users, not just passengers, but also pedestrians and drivers of other vehicles, are exposed to danger because procedures concerning public transport drivers, relating to safety, are not being followed. Therefore, we have an appeal to President Trzaskowski, a candidate in these elections, to urgently appear in Warsaw and initiate a review of these procedures, the non-compliance with which threatens the safety of all individuals present in Warsaw. Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, we appeal for you to fulfill the duties to which your voters appointed you, because it was you, not any of your vice-presidents, who won the election in Warsaw, and it was you who guaranteed that this city would be properly managed – stated Kamil Bortniczuk at a press briefing.

17:46

Fogiel:

If Trzaskowski Fails to Meet the Challenge and Evades Problems, Our MPs Will Initiate Parliamentary Scrutiny of the Bus Company Tomorrow

- Our appeal to Rafał Trzaskowski to temporarily set aside his campaign, to reorder his priorities, and to address the dramatic situation in Warsaw as quickly as possible. Something unprecedented has happened. As Representative [Bortniczuk] said, one accident could be an isolated incident that happens anywhere and anytime, but if we are now facing a series of accidents involving public transport buses, operated by a German company on behalf of the city, President Trzaskowski, and a second bus driver who has an accident while under the influence of drugs, then the situation is serious and requires decisive action. Once again, we will be able to see how Rafał Trzaskowski behaves during a crisis, and hence our truly very serious appeal to treat this matter with the utmost diligence. If Rafał Trzaskowski fails to meet the challenge and if it turns out, as for example in the case of the coronavirus crisis, that he evades problems, our MPs will tomorrow initiate parliamentary scrutiny of the company that employs the drivers and operates the transport services in Warsaw. However, we earnestly appeal for this matter to be treated as a priority - stated Radosław Fogiel at a press briefing.

Budka on Internal Polls: Full Mobilization Needed as it's Exactly Fifty-Fifty

- Full mobilization is needed because it's exactly fifty-fifty. Exactly so. One day Rafał has an advantage, the next day it's Andrzej Duda. Absolute mobilization is necessary - said Borys Budka in an interview with Borys Budka on the "Gość Wydarzeń" program on Polsat News.

- In my opinion, it will be a difference of 100,000, 50,000 votes. I don't think we will know who won until the very end of election night - added the Civic Platform leader.

We Don't Have Independent Public Television; It's Duda's Campaign Headquarters. In Fact, the Material in 'Wiadomości' and TVP Info Are Duda's Election Spots
- Andrzej Duda deserted. He was afraid of questions from independent journalists. Rafał Trzaskowski submitted himself to scrutiny from left to right. Even a journalist from 'Gazeta Polska' could ask him questions. And what did Andrzej Duda offer in return? A staged encounter with people for whom he allocated PLN 2 billion instead of for Polish oncology. We don't have independent public television; it's Andrzej Duda's campaign headquarters. In fact, the material shown in 'Wiadomości' and on TVP Info are Duda's election spots - Borys Budka said on Polsat News.

Budka:

President Duda, saying vaccinations shouldn't be mandatory, is like saying one person can run a red light. I'm waiting for him to say the Earth is flat.

- The President, who says vaccinations shouldn't be mandatory, later says he meant other vaccinations. Yesterday, he clearly said an unprecedented thing, that in his opinion, vaccinations shouldn't be mandatory. I am surprised that we haven't heard from the Minister of Health yet - Borys Budka said on Polsat News.

- President Duda, who says that vaccinations shouldn't be mandatory, is like saying that one person can run a red light, not run it. Today, education is needed, today the Minister of Health is talking about vaccines, today the Chief Sanitary Inspector is talking about vaccines, and Andrzej Duda? I'm waiting for him to say the Earth is flat - he added.

Budka:

There's a Line. I Will Never Accept ONR Flags at the Independence March. We Are Not Hypocrites

- There is a certain line. I will never accept ONR flags at the Independence March. We will never accept fascist gestures. Fortunately, this is a decisive minority. These are very irresponsible people, but we must speak clearly. We are not hypocrites. We tell voters where that line is - said Borys Budka on Polsat News.

Bielan on Trzaskowski's Absence from TVP Debate: 'I Feel No Satisfaction. Poles Deserve a Debate Before the Second Round. We've Never Had a Situation Like This Before.'

- I feel no satisfaction [that Rafał Trzaskowski did not attend yesterday's TVP debate]. Poles deserve a debate before the second round of presidential elections. We've never had a situation like this before. I would like to remind you that TVP is the only television station in Poland legally obligated to conduct such a debate. In turn, President Duda is the first Polish president who agreed to participate in debates before the first round. Until now, Polish presidents who sought re-election, Lech Wałęsa, Bronisław Komorowski, resigned from such an opportunity. President Duda, out of respect for all voters, participated twice in debates before the first round - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

Bielan:

President Duda Was Ready to Debate Trzaskowski Yesterday. He Appeared at TVP's Invitation in Końskie. Unfortunately, Trzaskowski Lacked Courage and Wasn't There Yesterday.

- He debated with the first Civic Platform candidate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and also with her replacement, Rafał Trzaskowski [Andrzej Duda debated before the first round]. He was also ready to debate with Rafał Trzaskowski yesterday. He appeared at TVP's invitation in Końskie. Unfortunately, Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate, lacked the courage and wasn't there yesterday to meet with the residents of Końskie, to answer their questions. And today, as we see, the head of the Civic Platform candidate's campaign team is also avoiding answering difficult questions - stated Adam Bielan on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

Bielan:

Trzaskowski Effectively Organized a Press Conference for Warsaw Journalists. He Took Them to Leszno So Voters Across Poland Wouldn't Realize It Was Actually a Meeting with Representatives of the Warsaw Salon.

- What happened yesterday in Leszno was a rather curious situation. Rafał Trzaskowski effectively organized a press conference for journalists from Warsaw and, for the sake of deception, took them from Warsaw to Leszno, so that voters in Poland wouldn't realize that it was actually a meeting with representatives of the Warsaw salon - stated Adam Bielan on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

21:17

Bielan:

Trzaskowski is a Darling of the Liberal Warsaw Elite

- Rafał Trzaskowski is a darling of the liberal Warsaw elite. He feels best here, but he fares much worse when he has to travel [outside Warsaw] - stated Adam Bielan on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

Bielan:

Attacks on the President for His Words Yesterday Show Opposition Politicians' Desperation

- It's absurd; the President was also asked about coronavirus vaccines during the previous debate on May 6th in the TVP studio and said exactly the same thing. The President stated that a coronavirus vaccine, which has not yet been invented, should be safe, must be thoroughly tested, should be free for everyone willing in Poland. First and foremost, people from risk groups, meaning the elderly and those with certain ailments, should receive this vaccine. These individuals must be provided with this vaccine for free. At the same time, the President maintains the position that these vaccines should not be mandatory, there should be no coercion, and I don't think any experts or politicians question this. I saw that even Rafał Trzaskowski expressed himself this way today, so these attacks on the President for his words yesterday show a certain desperation on the part of opposition politicians. They are clearly on the defensive; yesterday their candidate showed he is a coward, that he does not want to, and cannot face President Duda, and as a result, they are fabricating all sorts of pseudo-sensations like this – stated Adam Bielan on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

Sejm to Address Motions to Dismiss Ziobro and Kamiński Next Week

A two-day session of the Sejm has been convened for next week, during which motions to dismiss the Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, and the Minister of the Interior, Mariusz Kamiński, will be considered. According to the preliminary schedule, the debate will take place on Wednesday, July 15, from 6:30 PM to 9:45 PM.
