- Here in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, we are allocating over PLN 220 million for local investments. Investments in municipalities and powiats that are intended to be the engine of economic development after the epidemic. And this is already starting well, translating into economic growth, into the indicators we see. This is the first very good piece of news. Second, here in Szczytno, by line 219, the railway line, I would like to present some information regarding the renovation of stations, such as this one here in Szczytno, which will be handed over this year and, in addition to transport functions related to the railway, will also serve commercial functions. It will serve functions that create a certain social center in this beautiful town, and this is our plan in many places across Poland, for centers like Szczytno to be vibrant again - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated in Szczytno.

- The 21st meridian passes through Szczytno, the same one that passes through Warsaw, and it cannot be that Szczytno and Warsaw are connected only by this meridian, only by symbolic relations of this type. The relations between smaller and larger and the smallest towns must be real, actual. Economic relations are multifaceted, they must work together and cannot be separated, as in the economic plan of Mr. Budka, Mr. Trzaskowski, a polarized-diffusive development. - I have decided that the constitutional norms concerning child protection require refinement in one aspect. A child is subject to special protection, and this is unequivocally determined by the provisions of Article 72 of the Constitution. A child is also protected by the state. This protection is particular when parents are deprived of parental authority, when, in short, this parental authority in some sense passes to the Polish state, and it is the Polish state that is responsible for how this parental authority is exercised, because the child is then fully under the care of the Polish state - stated President Andrzej Duda.

. These are children who may be subject to adoption, if they can also be subject to adoption. And here, one doubt could be raised. Because while our law states that marriage is a union of a woman and a man, so if spouses wish to adopt a child, or as some prefer, adopt a child, there is no problem here. There is no fear that the marriage will be same-sex, because the Polish Constitution unequivocally excludes this, but other cases are possible, which is why I believe that the Polish Constitution should explicitly contain a provision stating that the adoption of a child or fostering by a person in a same-sex relationship is excluded - he continued.

- For the child's safety, for their proper upbringing, for the Polish state to safeguard the child's rights and protect the child's welfare, such a provision should exist in my opinion, and at this moment it is the state's responsibility to whom it entrusts the child for upbringing, and therefore I have decided to propose to parliamentarians the introduction of such a provision. On Monday, I will sign the appropriate document along with the legislative proposal, i.e., the presidential draft amendment to the Constitution, which will be submitted to the Polish Sejm - PAD emphasized.

- I have no doubts that this provision will find support not only from United Right MPs, but I am convinced, as I have heard such statements many times, that this provision will also be supported by Confederation MPs and PSL MPs. I am convinced that this provision will also find support from parts of the Civic Coalition MPs, because some of them have very clearly declared their opposition to any possibility of adoption or child sponsorship by same-sex unions - stated President Andrzej Duda.

- Today he [Rafał Trzaskowski] is in favour of lowering taxes. Mr. Trzaskowski, it's the fourth day. Please show me that list of tax cuts from when you were in government. We are waiting all the time. But he doesn't show it because it doesn't exist - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Olsztyn.

- I have repeatedly said that, unfortunately, it appears the government is hiding all information regarding the true state of public finances. Morawiecki's hole at the end of the year could reach PLN 100 billion. Unfortunately, when the Senate requested precise information, it was not provided. The Deputy Minister of Finance clearly stated in one interview that the deficit in 2020 will be very serious. The data we are currently receiving is very worrying, because we see that in May, VAT revenues fell by 34%, and the deficit amounted to almost PLN 26 billion. Therefore, serious questions must be asked of the government about the consequences of this difficult budgetary situation. I clearly declare that if I become president, I will convene a Cabinet Council the day after my swearing-in, so that on August 7th we can discuss the state of public finances, because all the information reaching us is extremely disturbing. - I certainly wouldn't pardon anyone who committed the crime of pedophilia. That's the first thing. Secondly, I hear that the President today, instead of addressing the matters that are outraging public opinion, is talking about changes to the Constitution, talking about wanting to ban adoptions by same-sex couples. I don't know of any mainstream, serious politician, especially anyone who ran in this election race, who would agree to such adoptions, so as usual, the President is dealing with a substitute topic. Rather, in light of all these facts we're hearing about, I would want all pardons to be public. Of course, I'm not talking about personal data, but about what categories of crimes. I believe that certain categories of crimes should simply be excluded from pardons. Definitely pedophilia, definitely rape, definitely murder with particular cruelty. - I want to say clearly that what Minister Ziobro is saying indicates that the ruling party, should they win the elections, which we hope will not happen, will certainly want to toughen their stance. We can see that Jarosław Kaczyński has disappeared somewhere. He is probably planning further steps aimed at other independent institutions. We expect him to try to attack local governments, that the ruling party, God forbid they win the elections, will want to limit self-governance and destroy independent media. Unfortunately, statements like those we hear from Minister Ziobro seem to indicate that our suspicions of a very radical toughening of PiS's course in the coming months may be confirmed - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing in Kalisz.

- I am against same-sex couples adopting children, and it seems to me that this is the position of most political parties. Today, at a time when all of Poland is talking about pardons, when all of Poland is outraged by these facts, and when we should rather be talking about categories of crimes that should be excluded from pardons, because today this is the topic most of us are discussing, when the ruling party talks about another attack on the media, today we should be concerned with media freedom, the president, as usual, is fleeing and looking for substitute topics that are not currently the subject of debate in this presidential race, because on this particular matter, I agree with the president. Therefore, I would advise the president to focus on serious topics. I would also expect that if President Duda talks about freedom, which sounds quite paradoxical coming from a president who has repeatedly limited that freedom, he should rather talk about media freedom, not attack the media – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing in Kalisz.

- You see that I am being ruthlessly attacked lately. I am also receiving information that my family will be targeted. I ask for your support, citizens, because these elections must be won. - It's solely about one specific clause, concerning exclusively child adoption. I believe the situation is straightforward. Politicians, as I've mentioned, from Confederation, from the Polish People's Party, or a significant portion of Civic Coalition politicians, more precisely, primarily from PO, have decidedly declared their opposition to same-sex couples adopting children. Consequently, I believe that if such a matter arises, and many experts believe it requires further regulation in the Constitution, precisely as an element of child protection and special care exercised by the state over a child, then such a project will be supported by them – said President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News.

- Unfortunately, the situation is such that it appears President Duda has only spoken with himself and his supporters to hold another rally, instead of discussing what is truly important for Poles. And it's a shame, because there's no need to be cowardly, Mr. President. There's no need to be scared all the time. I understand you fear the Chairman, but the Chairman is hiding somewhere and plotting. Therefore, Mr. President, now is the time to engage in debate while he's not looking. - I see they are constantly looking for distraction topics. Today the president talks about freedom, which sounds like a grim joke. Coming from a person who, late at night, signed laws that attacked all independent institutions. Today the president is presenting further proposals that are completely detached from what Polish women and men are talking about. Mr. President, enough with distraction topics. Today we must talk about the country's economic situation, about saving jobs, and I will tell you that while I absolutely appreciate that you want to maintain the price of mustard, I would like to talk about inflation and the economy - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kalisz.

- I wanted to tell the President one thing, and that is that you must understand that free courts, free local governments, and free media are the foundation of democracy, the foundation of freedom, and that if you attack free media, free courts, and local governments, you are actually forfeiting your right to speak about that freedom. - I'm curious if President Duda, unprepared as he might be, but we'll prepare him a bit today, would be able to answer the question of how much the prices of basic goods have risen in the last 5 years? Would he know that, for example, butter has increased in price by up to 50%, that a block of butter can now cost even 6 or 7 PLN? Does he know how much milk, ham, and essential products have gone up? Would he know how to answer such a question? Mr. President, it's not enough to only care about the price of mustard - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Ostrzeszów.

- I want the regulations enabling remote work to be maintained. Not just until September, as was initially decided, but to be included in the Labour Code, so that people can continue to work this way, because it is good. It's de-bureaucratized, flexible. So that when it aligns with the interests of the employee and employer, when the work allows for it, when the employee wants it and the employer agrees, they can perform remote work under these specific terms, if it suits the parties, it should be an element of freedom that both the employee and the employer can choose together - said President Andrzej Duda in Wrocław.

- You can expect such a legislative proposal from me. I have already discussed this matter with Deputy Prime Minister Emilewicz today. She said it's a great idea and she is convinced that the government will accept this proposal - added the President.

- Rafał Trzaskowski's program includes permission and consent for same-sex couple adoption. This is Rabiej's legislative plan, which stipulated that first, partnership unions, then same-sex marriages, and finally, homosexual adoptions, and we clearly see in the third paragraph that the law, which is part of Trzaskowski's program, includes the possibility of adoption by same-sex couples. We ask the question: does Trzaskowski not know his own program, because it was written by, for example, Donald Tusk or Borys Budka, or is he simply a coward and ashamed of his views, trying to hide his true opinions on extremely important social issues at every step - stated Jan Kanthak at a press briefing.

- I want to convince you of one thing. Imagine this Monday after the election, we wake up and listen, Jarosław Kaczyński is suddenly gone. Imagine a situation where Jarosław Kaczyński, for the first time – well, not the first time, because I still remember him sleeping in when martial law was declared – but imagine he's sleeping in because there's no one to call. Primarily, no one to call with ideas and orders. Wouldn't that be a beautiful day? – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Częstochowa.
