Today We Officially Submit a Request to the Council of Ministers to Declare a State of Natural Disaster
In view of the growing threat to the lives and health of Poles, today, on behalf of the Civic Coalition parliamentary club, we are officially submitting a request to the Council of Ministers, to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, to declare a state of natural disaster, which is one of the states of emergency that should have been introduced in Poland much earlier – said Cezary Tomczyk during a press conference in front of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).
The failure to declare a state of natural disaster today is, in fact, an act of cowardice by the government, because the government is choosing party interests over state interests. The Act on the State of Natural Disaster provides numerous tools for Polish local governments, as well as Polish entrepreneurs, to fight for safety in their municipalities and cities – added Tomczyk.
