Two of the most important events of the upcoming week are the weekend PiS convention with Andrzej Duda's participation, inaugurating the current president's election campaign, as well as the Sejm session during which the draft budget bill for 2020 will be adopted. Additionally, PAD will continue his tour of the country, and the European Parliament will hold another debate on the rule of law in Poland.

PAD in Pomerania and Zakliczyn. On Monday, President Andrzej Duda will visit Puck, Władysławowo, and Wejherowo, where he will participate in the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Poland's Marriage to the Sea, held as part of the National Celebrations of the 100th Anniversary of Poland Regaining Independence. On Wednesday, PAD will visit Zakliczyn in the Małopolskie Voivodeship, where he will attend a ceremonial session of the Municipal Council in Zakliczyn and meet with residents.

Kidawa-Błońska Continues in Pomerania. On Monday, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will continue her visit to the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The plan includes a ride on a historic train with reenactors and General Haller to Puck for the Marriage of Poland to the Baltic Sea, the unveiling of a plaque dedicated to Antoni Miotek, a concelebrated Holy Mass, the act of renewing the Marriage of Poland to the Sea, a historical reenactment at the site of the authentic Marriage of Poland to the Sea, as well as laying flowers before the monument of Antoni Abraham and participating in a ceremonial session of the Gdynia City Council on the occasion of the city's birthday.

Debate on Poland in the European Parliament. In the coming week, the European Parliament will once again discuss the situation in our country. On Tuesday, a debate titled “The Current Threat to the Rule of Law in Poland” will be held, with the participation of the Vice-President of the European Commission, Vera Jourová. According to the agenda, the debate block starts at 3:00 PM and will last until 11:00 PM.

Sejm on the 2020 Budget. At the upcoming Sejm session, which begins on Wednesday, MPs will vote on the draft budget bill for 2020. The plan includes a second, and then a third reading. The session has been traditionally divided to vote on the budget in accordance with the law. Its adoption is expected on Friday. Most likely, the government's proposal regarding changes to the OFE (Open Pension Funds) will also be adopted at this session.

Sejm Committee on the Dismissal of Kamiński. On Tuesday at 2:00 PM, MPs from the Sejm committee for special services will consider and opine on the motion submitted by PO-KO (Civic Platform-Coalition) to express a vote of no confidence in Minister and Coordinator of Special Services Mariusz Kamiński. It is not yet known when the Sejm will consider the motion – if not at the upcoming session, then at the next one only at the end of March.

Sejm on the Activity of the Constitutional Tribunal. Also on Tuesday at 2:00 PM, at a joint session of two Sejm committees: Justice and Human Rights, and Legislative, the President of the Constitutional Tribunal, Julia Przyłębska, is scheduled to present information on significant problems arising from the activity and jurisprudence of the Constitutional Tribunal in 2018. This item is also on the agenda for the Sejm session beginning on Wednesday.

Votes on the 13th Pension and Compensation for Public Media. At the aforementioned Sejm session, the Senate's veto to the law on compensation for public media will also be voted on, as well as the amendment to the law on the 13th pension introduced by the upper house. As announced by Deputy Marshal Stanisław Karczewski: - *I am convinced that not only PiS MPs will reject these amendments that prevent the payment of the thirteenth pension. We symbolically abstained from the entire law, although of course we support the payment of the thirteenth pension. It would be impossible with these amendments, so I am convinced that not only PiS MPs will reject all these amendments*.

PiS Convention with PAD. As we wrote on 300POLITYCE, on Saturday in Warsaw, a PiS convention will be held, inaugurating Andrzej Duda's presidential campaign. In addition to the president himself, who will present the program assumptions, the leader of the ruling party, Jarosław Kaczyński, will also speak. Most likely, the election staff will be officially presented before Saturday.
