- Regarding any kind of offensive hate, regarding vocabulary, it didn't reach me because the head of the Constitutional Tribunal's office knew that I'm not interested in it, nor am I afraid of it, nor do I expect it. That's simply the fate in a situation of hybrid war, which the authorities have declared on Poland, because the judiciary is the essential, third branch of power in the state, and they declared a ruthless hybrid war from the very beginning – stated Andrzej Rzepliński in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

"I'm not surprised that the liberal Washington press is writing like this [suggesting Donald Trump shouldn't visit Poland]. He can do various things, he won't perish in that regard, but there is no place for a person who has become personally involved and who has done such things that are unimaginable in Europe, a place in the courtroom. “The report points to the criminal and constitutional responsibility of the highest state officials for what happened between 2007 and 2015, for approximately PLN 250 billion disappearing from the budget, but what is worse, for this phenomenon escalating year by year. The sum itself can be misleading. The point is that it got worse from year to year. No systemic actions were taken to counteract it. Piecemeal, minor actions were very late and in practically every case state authorities were forced by years of insistence from industry organizations and other entities, even ambassadors of foreign countries. Many actions were also taken that weakened the tax system. To this was added the dismantling of special services, the prosecutor's office, and hindering the work of law enforcement agencies” – said Marcin Horała, chairman of the VAT fraud commission, in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

In the final report, the chairman recommends bringing Donald Tusk, Ewa Kopacz, Jan Rostowski, and Mateusz Szczurek before the State Tribunal.

Ewa Kopacz, a prominent figure in Polish politics and a former Prime Minister, has voiced her strong concerns regarding the current government's alleged misuse of state institutions to target the political opposition. In a statement, she detailed how the Ministry of Justice and public television have already been leveraged for political gain, and she now warns that the State Tribunal is being considered as another tool in this strategy.

The former premier highlighted that the Ministry of Justice, under the current administration, has been instrumental in shaping judicial reforms that critics argue undermine the independence of the judiciary. She also pointed to public television, which she claims has been transformed into a propaganda arm of the ruling party, routinely featuring biased reporting and discrediting opposition figures.

Kopacz's latest accusation centers on the State Tribunal, a constitutional court responsible for adjudicating constitutional responsibility of high-ranking state officials. She suggests that the government is now exploring ways to utilize this tribunal to pursue political objectives, potentially by initiating proceedings against opposition leaders or officials.

"This is a dangerous precedent," Kopacz stated, emphasizing that such actions erode democratic norms and the rule of law. She urged for vigilance from citizens and political actors to protect democratic institutions from being politicized and instrumentalized for partisan purposes.

On Thursday at 11:00 AM, Members of Parliament, during a session of the legislative committee, will provide an opinion to the Marshal of the Sejm regarding a case pending before the Constitutional Tribunal (TK) under case number K 16/19. In practice, this concerns an examination of the constitutionality of the requirement to publish the support lists of candidates for the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS).

Initially, the committee was scheduled to address only the draft bill concerning the Committee on Pedophilia, but the agenda was expanded. "The Constitutional Tribunal will examine whether the obligation to make public the names of individuals who supported candidates for judges is in line with current constitutional provisions," stated TK President Julia Przyłębska in a recent interview with TVP Info.

The National Electoral Commission has received notification of the registration of the "Civic Democracy" voters' election committee for the Senate elections.
