At noon, a protest by people with disabilities will depart from in front of the Presidential Palace. The long-announced demonstration aims to recall last year's strike in the Sejm and the demands then presented. The demonstrators will proceed along the Royal Route past the Prime Minister's Chancellery, and then past the parliament's seat.

As we wrote on 300POLITYCE, the European Coalition is organizing a tour of all electoral districts before the end of the campaign. Today, 5 events with the participation of Grzegorz Schetyna and EP candidates are planned: at 8:00 AM in Gdańsk (with Mayor Aleksandra Dulkiewicz), at 11:15 AM in Włocławek, at 1:45 PM in Łódź, at 4:00 PM in Katowice, and at 6:30 PM a convention will be held in Chorzów.

Manfred Weber will be visiting Warsaw today. At 8:45 AM, he will meet with the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski (press conference at 10:20 AM), and then, together with the European Coalition's EP candidate Andrzej Halicki, he will tour the Museum of Warsaw's Praga.

Patryk Jaki and Sebastian Kaleta are also organizing their conference at 9:30 AM. At 10:00 AM, a hearing will take place before the verification committee regarding Warsaw's reprivatization. At noon, the Sejm investigative committee for VAT fraud will convene in a closed session, and at 2:00 PM, the team – also behind closed doors – will question Leszek Wieciech. The interrogation will continue in an open session an hour later.

Robert Biedroń and Sylwia Spurek are organizing their press conference in Poznań at 9:00 AM. At 2:30 PM in Warsaw, a Spring convention dedicated to the problems of people with disabilities will be held.

At 6:00 PM in the Prime Minister's Chancellery, a tweetup under the hashtag #mlodziKPRM will take place with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński. In turn, at 8:30 PM on TVP1, an election debate will be broadcast.

Yesterday, in southern Poland, where the flood problem began, threatening hundreds of farms, the Prime Minister traveled there, canceling his campaign commitments. He is still there on site, supporting the operation - said Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Daniel Wydrych and Piotr Goćka on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on Polish Radio One.

- The Morawieckis will sue. The Prime Minister announced this, and the Prime Minister's wife announced this. The texts with which they were attacked in the mentioned newspaper are full of manipulation and insinuation. It is clear that this newspaper, extremely politically engaged in the final days of the campaign, also decided to become an armed weapon to fight the government, to fight Law and Justice. However, there are certain limits. Gazeta Wyborcza crossed those limits, hence the lawsuit - said Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Daniel Wydrych and Piotr Gociek on "Sygnały dnia" on Polskie Radio Jedynka.

“From the very beginning, we have spoken about the Freedom and Solidarity Festival having two dimensions, two pillars. One is civic. The other - local government. What the demands of local government officials will be, I don't know, because that's what the conversation and discussion will serve. Certainly, this is one of the questions about the future shape of Poland's system of government. In May next year, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first fully free elections - those for municipal councils in May 1990. This is probably a good moment to ask ourselves these questions. Many local government officials and experts on the state's system of government are posing a fundamental question about the current role of the Senate, and one of the demands is indeed the issue of this chamber's character, whether, as in some countries, it should not have a local government character” – said the Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

"I wonder what purpose this constant questioning of Gdańsk's Polishness serves. I think that this is essentially the content of the dispute about Westerplatte. The entire city is adorned with European Union flags, but I suppose one cannot fail to notice the Polish flags. The discussion that swept through Poland, where PiS activists attacked Gdańsk, saying there are no Polish flags here, is simply untrue" - said the Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on Radio TOK FM's Morning Show.

- First and foremost, it is unethical [spousal property separation for a politician and his wife] if it is done to conceal assets. Sometimes it can be disqualifying, especially when someone pretends that the previous system of the Third Republic was a system of exploitation, as Mateusz Morawiecki often says, and to hide the assets they accumulated then, they sign a separation of property. I did the complete opposite. My wife and I entered into an agreement when I entered politics to expand our joint marital property precisely so that there would be no doubt that someone was trying to hide something - stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Civic Platform proposed the "Clean Hands" act to cut short these speculations - he continued. - We must do everything to ensure that politicians, especially those in the spotlight, are cleaner than Caesar's wife - emphasized the PO politician.

- We are saying 'checkmate.' We have put the [Clean Hands] bill on the table, which is intended to put an end to all speculation. If Mateusz Morawiecki truly had good intentions, he would ask his wife and together they would disclose their assets. I have the impression that this matter, if not for the journalists, would never have seen the light of day, and perhaps even President [Kaczyński] himself did not know how Prime Minister Morawiecki is trying to hide these assets from the public opinion - stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego."

- But what was the intention? I am convinced that the intention was precisely that Prime Minister Morawiecki, by suddenly aligning himself with the PiS electorate, could thunder, attack the mythical Third Polish Republic, while at the same time not showing that he was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Third Polish Republic - added the Civic Platform politician.

- Prime Minister Morawiecki can disclose his and his wife's assets at any time. There is no legal obstacle - Budka emphasized.

- If there is a majority for it [civil partnerships], then Grzegorz Schetyna has clearly declared. A few weeks ago, on a rival station, Schetyna clearly said: if there is a majority capable of enacting this, then he, as the leader of Civic Platform, will put this topic on the agenda and we will close this matter - stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I am prepared to declare that I will convince every colleague to this solution and will vote myself, as Schetyna spoke about. I think Polish society has matured for such solutions. We see how the views of most Poles are changing, and this is about basic human dignity, about everyone being treated equally - added the PO politician.

- We will be able to resolve this matter if we have a majority, and I hope that will happen - he emphasized.

- My statement was indeed senseless. I admit it, I would never write such a thing again. I'll say it again. We wanted the dogs to have a new home. They found one. We trusted this lady who, as it were, conducted the procedure with my husband. I am happy that the dogs found a new home, and that is the good ending - said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

- Our draft is on the table. It cannot be a commission composed of politicians. It must be independent experts. We say 'yes' to a truth commission, an independent commission appointed from experts, not politicians, while Mateusz Morawiecki has done nothing so far beyond a single slogan. The Sejm could have been convened, a law passed, we have our proposal, the proposal of a foundation or association representing victims of crime, and Morawiecki, as prime minister, has only thrown slogans - stated Borys Budka in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

My access to public media is blocked, especially to the main program "Wiadomości" on TVP, where I was invited twice last week to the program "Gość Wiadomości" (Guest of Wiadomości), only to be uninvited at the last moment, following the intervention of one of the program's editors, Mr. Adamczyk. Mr. Adamczyk, who two years ago published a disgusting, scandalous tweet, accusing, insinuating to my father that he collaborated with the Germans during World War II, and only because it was formulated as a question did I not take legal action. However, it was very strongly criticized by the media, and probably Mr. Adamczyk preferred not to see me on the program "Gość Wiadomości." Therefore, I have decided to write formally to the President of TVP, Jacek Kurski, and the Media Ethics Council, stating that it is an inadmissible violation of law, ethics, and decency to block a candidate running in elections from public media – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski at a press briefing.

- Dignity and respect are the most important things and the most important matters that we must bestow upon these individuals. They want a normal, decent life, subjective treatment. They want respect, and they simply deserve it - said Grzegorz Schetyna during a press conference in Gdańsk.

Civic Platform has been interested in the issue of civil partnerships for a long time. I would like to remind you that during the previous term, we prepared the first draft of a solution to the problem of civil partnerships, their legalization, and the guarantee of legal support. We prepared this. Unfortunately, this project did not pass. We are now at a stage in our society where people are discussing this topic extensively, and perhaps this period of discussion is necessary to regulate these matters in the new term, because I believe it must be done – stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka Political Salon". - Civic Platform, as a political party, has dealt with this matter, and we will certainly address it after the elections, but it requires discussion so that it is a decision of the entire society, not on the basis of division and confrontation – added the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm.

"I'm eagerly awaiting [the trial with Patryk Jaki]. So far, the announcements of the trial are as credible as Jaki's own words. I have no problem with trials involving Mr. Jaki. Mr. Jaki announced legal action in an election dispute procedure. There is no such lawsuit. I'm waiting with impatience. I'm happy to face Mr. Jaki in court. On the day of Mr. Jaki's election rally in Busko-Zdrój, two police officers were attacked with a knife by a councilor, a supporter of Mr. Jaki, who was actively campaigning at Mr. Jaki's meeting," said Paweł Wojtunik, a candidate for the European Parliament from the Civic Coalition (KE), in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News.

„The Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA) is a service used for political purposes. I am not the one discovering this; everyone who observes political life knows it. Certainly, the entire security sector should be thoroughly reformed” - said Paweł Wojtunik, a Civic Platform (KE) candidate for the European Parliament, in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News.

- I had great hope that we would create a left-wing bloc based on the Together party, PPS, SDPL, the Feminist Initiative, and Spring. We wanted to create such a committee. I believe such a committee would have a chance for a good 12-13%. Unfortunately, Robert Biedroń said "no". Consequently, the perspective has changed. If you don't want to cooperate with us, if you want to go alone, then you are taking responsibility for yourself - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus, when asked if he would say today that he would support Robert Biedroń in the presidential elections.

- [Robert Biedroń] couldn't get along with the left, he abandoned consolidating the left, and that's a major minus for me. For Mr. Zandberg, it's also a major minus, and for Mr. Witkowski from UP as well. I don't want to go into details because it's an election campaign, but all these ambiguities related to some community center, molestations, stories not fully explained, regarding the way all these matters were explained. All matters related to the financing of this party. It's not clear, not transparent. This is impacting all of this - he added.

- At the time, I thought it was a good idea [Biedroń's presidential bid], today I think it's a bad one - emphasized the leader of SLD.

- We have reached a situation where a significant portion of individuals may evade responsibility. We are sending the opinion of the Kraków Institute of Criminal Law to the Senate. In this opinion, the most distinguished experts show that this amendment, this legal blunder, could lead to the dismissal of hundreds of proceedings. It could lead to the release from prison of individuals who have already been convicted. This opinion is devastating. It shows that Minister Zbigniew Ziobro is personally responsible for the biggest legislative blunder in the history of the Third Polish Republic - Borys Budka said during a press conference in the Sejm.

"These elections will determine whether we will have a delegation in the European Parliament that is strong and effective, that will have an impact on what is happening in Europe, that will be able to pursue our most important interests regarding budgetary matters, because without EU funds it will be difficult to develop our cities and our villages, a delegation that has enormous credibility, because all these people on the Civic Platform (KE) lists, such as Andrzej Halicki, simply have credibility, know how to fight for Polish interests, and have something to boast about," said Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference. "Manfred Weber, who is the candidate for the head of the European Commission on behalf of the EPP, began his visits to member states in Warsaw and symbolically ends this tour in Warsaw. He is a friend of Poland, a person who strongly supports the resolution of the problems we raise. We are talking about funds for healthcare, for climate protection. I will invite Mr. Weber to see Old Praga. We are talking about revitalization," added Andrzej Halicki of Civic Platform (PO).

- I would like to earnestly ask the residents of Warsaw for their support for Sebastian Kaleta in the upcoming European Parliament elections. I want to give my official endorsement and ask all those who voted for me in the local elections to vote specifically for Sebastian Kaleta. He is a person who, from the very beginning, co-created the verification committee with me, which works so hard to fight for what is most important: justice, the rule of law, and a stronger Warsaw - said Patryk Jaki during a press conference.

- We are currently the third political force in all polls, from the beginning. And we are very happy about that. And this is only early spring. We will see what happens next, after the European Parliament elections. But we are here primarily to address Prime Minister Morawiecki, who today talks a lot about the budget, which he considers not bad, talks a lot about investments, boasts about what the current government is doing for Poland and Poles. We would like to ask Prime Minister Morawiecki to find a little time today for all those who are protesting in Warsaw, and whom the PiS government has not found time for over the past years. I am speaking, of course, about people with disabilities and their caregivers - stated Robert Biedroń at a press conference in Poznań.

„I don't take promises made without discussion, thrown out a few dozen hours before the election, seriously. If there was an intention to help people with disabilities earlier, they could have convened a Sejm session, submitted a relevant bill, and all MPs would have gladly participated in those proceedings to resolve this matter. This is a slogan thrown out a few days before the election. We don't know what it will look like, we don't know if there's money, and such promises are simply unserious” - said Deputy Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference.

„There was time to sit down for talks, for the Prime Minister, the President, who promised a year ago to help, to solve the problems of people with disabilities, to sit and talk with this community. The President did not keep his word, did not help people with disabilities, which is why they are starting this protest in front of the Presidential Palace today” - added Jagna Marczułajtis-Walczak.

- Either we let a bit of fresh air into politics, or we will regret for years to come that we once again chose the lesser evil. Let's stop voting for the lesser evil. Let's choose the greater good. Let's listen to Donald Tusk, who recently appealed to choose the greater good, speaking the language of Spring. Spring is the only hope for change today - stated Robert Biedroń at a conference in Poznań.

- I have asked Marshal Karczewski for a special meeting of the Convention of Seniors, to be held after today's first reading in the joint committees, to decide whether to continue work on this project - said Bogdan Klich during a press conference in the Sejm.

- In addition to other flaws, errors, and contradictions contained in this project – not a few, not a dozen, but several dozen – Civic Platform will vote to reject these changes in their entirety - added Klich.

- I cannot overlook the situation when a coalition is formed with the [Five Star] Movement party, which proclaims in its program that mandatory relocation of refugees, including to Poland, is part of its economic and political agenda - stated Marek Jakubiak at a briefing in the Sejm.

- I appeal to you, Paweł, to break this coalition, or for the [Five Star] Movement party to change its beliefs. In this way, you legitimize anti-Polish actions, you legitimize actions against Polish interests. Stick to what we entered the Sejm with. Do not betray your voters - he added. - Paweł, withdraw from this - he appealed.

"This pathological situation of social gatherings between the head of the ruling party and the head of the Constitutional Tribunal only confirms that Polish citizens today must fight for their rights before EU institutions, and that they have nothing to look for before the Constitutional Tribunal. No one in intimate relations with a criminal should judge them, just as judges who are in league with the head of the ruling party or the head of the government should not judge or assess laws adopted by the ruling party. Involvement in such regular social contacts with politicians of the ruling party disqualifies Julia Przyłębska as the head of the Constitutional Tribunal. The whole story about this sudden outburst of friendship between the President of the Constitutional Tribunal and the head of the ruling party is just a sham. It simply stems from fear of the impact of this information on election results. As long as President Przyłębska was not the head of the Constitutional Tribunal, she did not have a friendship with the head of the ruling party" - said Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz from Civic Platform-KO at a press conference in the Sejm.

"Kaczyński himself is today creating a group that holds power and a pathological arrangement. It is difficult to believe that these meetings, which are supposed to be social, are meetings over coffee and cheesecake, because an entire security detail with heavy briefcases full of materials follows the President. These are certainly not cheesecakes" - added Andrzej Halicki from Civic Platform - "I wonder if TW Wolfgang attends these meetings, because that would be truly inspiring, what further would happen there".

- This is the first step [EP elections] in this march, which includes European, parliamentary, and finally presidential elections. In short, within a year, the future fate of our country will be decided, and in matters of immense importance. I will start with one that is often raised and is indeed very important. It's the issue of the euro, whether or not to introduce this European currency. Well, our opponents, although as in many matters they say one thing, then another, many of them declare, and in forums where these declarations must be taken seriously, that Poland will adopt the euro. This means losses for the Polish economy, sovereignty, and households. Measurable losses. It's difficult to operate with exact numbers at the moment, but out of these approximately 14 million Polish households, the vast majority will simply lose out - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Ryki.

- There will be more of these losses, because Poland will enter a sphere that is currently a sphere of stagnation. Economic stagnation, very slow development, almost zero development. For example, Germany has already been reduced in the predictions of institutions that deal with this to 0.7% regarding growth this year, so very, very slowly, almost imperceptibly - the PiS leader continued.

- Poland has a chance to exceed 4, and perhaps even up to 5% [GDP]. In short, there is a very large, significant difference between us. We, one might say, are catching up, getting closer. Let's take Germany. We will get 2% closer to Germany in terms of per capita income. Today it's about 60% of German income, after this year we will have, if everything goes normally, 2% more. And it can be like that in the following years, but it depends on the policy pursued - Kaczyński emphasized.

“We have shown Polish women and men that it is possible, that change in politics is possible, that a different kind of politics is possible. Today, I would like to say something that hundreds of thousands of Polish women and men feel in their hearts. I would like to say that we succeeded, we did it, we gave hope for a different kind of politics. We showed that it is possible, that Spring has blossomed in Poland for good. Today we are the third political force in all polls and we are constantly growing. For now third, second on the lists, and soon we will be first” - said Robert Biedroń, the leader of Wiosna, at the last election convention.  

There is a major issue of social policy, which today already amounts to over eighty billion zlotys added to what existed before, during our government. It will be taken away, in this or that form, at this or that pace. But there is no doubt about it that it will be taken away because we hear such declarations, and this is a premise one can refer to, but also because in order for such social transfers to be implemented, to be carried out, one simply needs to be in power, to control finances, to be able to collect taxes, to maintain a certain order in the state. Our competitors are completely incapable of this. Our competitors are completely incapable of this. The rule of PO, PSL has shown that this incapacity is something permanent, immanent – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Ryki.

Senators from the Law and Justice (PiS) party have put forward 30 amendments to the proposed changes in the Criminal Code. Among these is a significant amendment that would repeal the recent alterations made to Article 212, which pertains to defamation and insult.

We have new, good news. This year, investment growth exceeding 21%, 21.7%. This means that what has so far been indicated as a weaker part, a weaker element of our economic situation, namely the relatively low level of investment, is also changing very rapidly at the moment. Last year, this also increased. Taken together, this will already be a growth of about 30%. Thus, growth to a level that is already completely decent, a very good, European level of investment, calculated as a percentage of GDP - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Ryki.

The hero of the European Coalition's mobilization spot is Marek Dunin-Wąsowicz, a 93-year-old prisoner of the German Nazi Stutthof camp.

"This gives me the right to speak about the past, because the present is pushing us into that past. My memory goes back to knowing when and how they burned books. And now they are burning books again. And then, of course, they burned people. We were fed disgusting, contemptible propaganda and now we have the same. We must stand against it. Since I want a better life for my granddaughter and children, I will also go to the elections," says Dunin-Wąsowicz.

This coming Sunday, we will elect our representatives to the European Parliament. I encourage every eligible voter to exercise their right and participate in these elections. Every vote matters, every vote is important. Let's go to the polls, because high turnout will be a confirmation of the high quality of Polish democracy. A democracy that we have been meticulously building for 30 years.

Some of us may even think that the European Parliament is far away, and the issues discussed in Brussels or Strasbourg do not concern us. But nothing could be further from the truth. How Europe takes shape, in which direction the Union will develop, depends on each of us. Our votes, together with the votes of millions of citizens from other countries, will influence the future of Europe, deciding its face for years and decades to come. I ask that every resident of a Polish city, town, and village have their say in this. No vote should be missing, because it is a decision about what kind of Europe our homeland will grow up in.

I believe that the newly elected MEPs will strive with determination for Polish matters in Europe, contributing to raising the standard of living for Poles and the development of our country. As a member of the European Union and a state that actively participates in building the future of Europe, we have every right to do so. But the Union is not only about rights; it is also about obligations. It is our duty to ensure that the European values of solidarity, cooperation, and equality between states are real values.
