The Council of Ministers will convene exceptionally today at 9:00 AM. The agenda includes a draft amendment to the Waste Act, a draft amendment to the regulation concerning the list of railways of state importance, and a draft resolution on the partial allocation of the targeted reserve for salary increases resulting from organizational changes and new tasks in state budget units in 2019.

At 10:00 AM, a closed-door meeting of the commission for the restitution of Warsaw real estate will take place. Following this, around 10:45 AM, a press conference by commission members is planned – announcing decisions regarding compensation and redress for tenants.

At 12:00 PM, President Andrzej Duda will pay a working visit to the 17th Wielkopolska Mechanized Brigade in Wędrzyn. Among other things, the President will award the Medal of the Centenary of Regained Independence to participants of the fighting in Iraqi Karbala in 2004. The President will be accompanied by the Minister of National Defence, Mariusz Błaszczak. Also today, PAD will visit Międzychód in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, where he will meet with residents at 5:30 PM.

At 12:30 PM, a press conference will be held in the Sejm by the leaders of Konfederacja: Robert Winnicki and Włodzimierz Osadczy, a candidate in the Lublin region. The topic of the conference: Who promoted Ludmiła Kozłowska?.

At 1:00 PM, the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Joachim Brudziński, and Deputy Minister Paweł Szefernaker will participate in the ceremony of laying the cornerstone for the construction of the District Police Headquarters in Sławno in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. In turn, at 9:30 AM, in front of the entrance to Hala Ergo Arena on the border of Gdańsk and Sopot, a press conference by Janusz Lewandowski and Jarosław Wałęsa will take place.

At 5:00 PM, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will participate in a conference at the PKP Łódź Fabryczna station.

- The result of Mrs. Bieńkowska's work is that the European Commission has proposed a budget that is not beneficial for Poland, nor for many Northern European countries - said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Katarzyna Gójska on "Sygnały Dnia" on Jedynka radio.

- There is a proposal from the European Commission that is indeed not beneficial for Poland. We have a problem because Commissioner Bieńkowska behaves as if she were representing herself there, or representing the opposition. She does not maintain particularly close contact with Polish authorities. I suspect she only represents Donald Tusk - Sasin added.

When asked about Jacek Saryusz-Wolski's statement that teacher raises are gigantic, the PiS MEP replied: - I wouldn't use that term. Especially since we, as MEPs, should assess the earnings of people in Poland and also salary increases with greater restraint.

He said, no more, no less, that what is allowed for Germany, what is allowed for Spain, must be allowed for Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, or Slovakia. There cannot be a Europe of two speeds. There cannot be an attempt to exclude countries from the European community by one politician or another who has enormous problems in their own country and rapidly falling poll numbers, and who, through such bluster, tries to divide Europe and European countries. Europe must be based on common pillars of values and law. Everything that is allowed, as Jarosław Kaczyński said, for the big, historically old states of the European Union, must be allowed for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The upper house will, at its upcoming session from May 8-10, meaning next week, address the amendment to the Act on State Support for Child Rearing, which expands the "Family 500+" program to include the first child – according to the published agenda. This flagship promise from the so-called "Kaczyński's Five" is the first item on the agenda.

- The case of hanging MEPs from Civic Platform on symbolic gallows continues. It cannot be that individuals with fascist views or those supporting neo-Nazis work in the justice system. Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki and the Prosecutor General, Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro, bear personal responsibility for this - Grabiec added.

This is our idea for the fight for clean air. Polish mining and this branch of Polish industry are very important to us. Of course, mining should be modernized. There are many ways, on which Jerzy Buzek is working, among others, with the support of EU funds, to obtain more ecological energy from coal, including so-called coal gasification. We are very willing and serious about discussing such topics with PiS, but in a substantive, not a lying, manner.
