- Exams were held solely and exclusively thanks to the responsibility of the teachers themselves. As you know, some of them resigned from continuing the strike during the exams. On the other hand, the rulers themselves gave up regarding this whole mess. They really did nothing – Ewa Kopacz said in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- From 2013 to 2015, higher education teachers received PLN 5.4 billion. At the time when we ruled, from 2008 to 2012, teachers received, we added over PLN 12 billion to the education subsidy. In the first year when we came to power, it turned out that in the budget left by our predecessors, by PiS, for raises there was 5%, we gave 10%. In the following year, twice 5%, in the next 7% and in the next 7%. Let's not say that they were bad and these ones are good – Ewa Kopacz said in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- It won't take me long [to deal with the cardboard cutouts]. There was such a signal [regarding the government reshuffle]. Exactly a week ago, after the Law and Justice Political Committee meeting, our spokesperson [Beata Mazurek] clearly communicated it. In this matter, the decisive voice, regarding when, who, and who will replace potentially dismissed ministers, belongs to Prime Minister Morawiecki. And he will be the one informing the public about it. I, in this matter, no matter how much you try to pry, unfortunately, cannot help - stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon."

"This strike cannot be silenced, it cannot be left unheard, unlistened to, because that is what PiS relies on. We can already see that. The solidarity fund, solidarity support, clarifying how teachers can be paid, this is the fundamental question. The solidarity fund shows how important this is, how Poles can help the strikers," said the Civic Platform leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on Radio TOK FM's Morning program.

- I don't know anything about this. I would have to consider it, but there has been no such proposal. I am trying to perform the duties I agreed to when taking on the role of Undersecretary of State - Maciej Kopeć said in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

„I am impressed by the determination, good organization, and widespread nature of this strike. This is a very serious signal to the authorities that they must talk to teachers, that it is only a matter of time before these demands land on the government's table again – this one or the next – and will have to be implemented” - said the Civic Platform leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on Radio TOK FM's Poranek program.

- When it comes to union leaders, it is decidedly [a political protest]. If a union leader addresses the leader of the opposition - which calls itself the total opposition - dear Mr. Grzegorz, thank you for the invitation, if this union leader, Mr. Broniarz, addressed Grzegorz Schetyna… Now, during the protest, Chairman Broniarz is saying exactly the same thing as opposition politicians - stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon".

- Today, the only partner for teachers is the government. We have allocated PLN 9 billion since we took office for teacher salary increases - continued the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

"If I were in PiS's shoes, I would talk with the opposition and write a scenario for solving this problem, meaning salary increases, in the perspective of years that should follow, together with those who could or will govern after the next election. This needs to be looked at from a multi-year perspective. However, such a large increase will not be achieved immediately, within a week," said the Civic Platform leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in an interview with Jacek Żakowski on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

- The pedagogical council must classify students. These are competencies that are explicitly written in the law, the education law. These competencies are assigned to the pedagogical council, which classifies students. No one will change the competencies of the pedagogical council - said Maciej Kopeć in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

- And what if a student who is supposed to take the matura exam is not classified? - Lubecka pressed.

- I cannot imagine such a situation. But of course, if a student has not completed school, then they cannot take the matura exam. They will then be able to take it next year - Kopeć replied.

- We have a delay, and I also have many reservations about myself in this regard, but I wish to assure all of you that this project is underway and the ferry will be built. Today, there is no delay in the construction of this ferry because we are still in the design phase, and as we planned, the handover of the ferry at the turn of 2020/2021 still seems realistic - said Marek Gróbarczyk in "Sedno Sprawy" on Radio Plus.

„Today marks another, the third, good day. I hope it was a very good day for the students. Exams were held in all schools today. There were no disruptions” - said Minister Anna Zalewska at a press conference - „I want to thank you once again. We are receiving hundreds of calls from parents. Firstly, to those who supervised and are supervising the exams, a big thank you from parents for being there and continuing to be there for the children, and thanks to the volunteers, principals, teachers who are with their students, and to the superintendents and voivodes for three days of work for the good of the child”. 

- This is complete nonsense. Firstly, if the Marshal wants to work for an idea politically, that is something entirely different from the diligent, daily, and incredibly important work of teachers - said Jacek Rostowski in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on Wirtualna Polska's "Tłit".

The voting block in the Sejm, which was originally scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM, will ultimately commence at 2:30 PM and last for 1.5 hours. During this time, MPs will adopt, among other things, a bill reducing the copper tax by 15%.

Let's talk first and foremost about teachers agreeing to suspend the strike during exams and returning to work. I know there are teachers who are with their students all the time, who are working, coming to work. I am aware that tensions in schools are already high, and it is also my request that those who are striking do not exert pressure on those who are not striking but are working, because these are truly unnecessary conflicts that are arising at the moment. This is a good moment for it to end. That moment is the signing of an agreement, and now everything is in the hands of Chairman Broniarz and ZNP. I believe that we all need this time so that after the agreement is signed, after the exams, let them conclude, let the youth no longer have this stress - stated Beata Szydło at a press conference in Krakow. I don't know why adults are trying to exert such pressure on young people. Let adults talk at the table, and let young people take their exams right now - she added. - Of course, we have already completed the first cycle of exams. From Monday, eighth-graders will be taking their exams. After that, we will enter the matura exam cycle. I cannot imagine a situation where the youth will not be able to take their matura exams. It is absolutely unimaginable for me, but I believe it is also for teachers, the youth, and their parents, and therefore, once again, a plea to suspend the strike during exams, including during matura exams - emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.

„Tomorrow we have another convention in Lublin. We start at 11 AM. A speech by President Jarosław Kaczyński and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is planned, along with a reminder of our candidates from the Lublin Voivodeship who are running for the European Parliament. These conventions are held every weekend. Their goal is to mobilize our electorate, our supporters, but also to encourage all Poles to participate in the EP elections, so that our turnout as a country is much higher than before, because these elections are truly very important” - said Deputy Marshal Beata Mazurek at a press conference in the Sejm.

If that happens, I have also received information that it is not out of the question that at the upcoming Sejm session this bill concerning 500+ for the first child will pass its first, second, and third readings” - stated Deputy Marshal Beata Mazurek at a press conference in the Sejm.

65% of respondents are against introducing the euro in Poland – according to a survey conducted by the Pollster Research Institute for "Super Express". 35% of those surveyed are in favor of introducing the common European currency.

85% of respondents believe that prices will rise in Poland after the introduction of the euro. 2% believe they will fall, and 13% believe they will remain unchanged. The study was conducted on April 10-11 with a sample of 1083 adult Poles.

Nearly half of the crude oil imported to Poland by PKN ORLEN now originates from outside Russia. This is a result of the diversification of raw material supplies and the systematic expansion of business cooperation with companies outside Europe, including Saudi Aramco Oil Company. The actions taken in this regard enable PKN ORLEN to achieve a favorable crude oil mix, leading to optimized production and a positive impact on the final quality and price of products for PKN ORLEN customers, as well as market stability. Approximately 1.4 million tons of crude oil arrive at the Płock refinery monthly, with an average of around 700,000 tons coming from alternative directions, including Saudi Arabia. Cooperation with Saudi Aramco is expanding. This is evidenced by new trade agreements concluded with the concern's subsidiaries, such as a contract with Saudi Aramco Products Trading Company for additional supplies of Saudi crude oil to PKN ORLEN refineries, as well as for the purchase by the Saudi partner of heavy fuel oil produced by ORLEN Lietuva. Daniel Obajtek, President of the Management Board of PKN ORLEN, and Amin Nasser, President of Saudi Aramco, discussed further business areas and strengthening mutual relations. The summit meeting, which was also attended by Abdulaziz Al-Judaimi, Senior Vice President, Downstream, took place on April 11th this year in Saudi Arabia. - High-quality crude oil, which we can purchase on favorable price terms, and security of raw material supplies are important for the further development of PKN ORLEN. It is in our interest to expand business relations with companies like Saudi Aramco. I am satisfied that we have taken a breakthrough step forward within the framework of our existing cooperation. We are expanding cooperation and signing a "product for crude oil" agreement. This is the first agreement of its kind in ORLEN's history and additional business for our refineries. The recording, published on Twitter, shows Martyniuk directly addressing the viewers.

"Dear compatriots, I am Zenon Martyniuk, and I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the European Parliament elections," says the artist in the video.

Frankowski, accompanying the video with the comment "The voice of reason!", likely refers to the importance of civic engagement and casting a vote.
