The Sejm will resume its session at 9:00 AM, with a block of votes beginning an hour later, at 10:00 AM. In this session, MPs will decide on the adoption of the bill concerning a one-time bonus for pensioners and disability pensioners, the so-called thirteenth pension, and on supporting Civic Platform's motion for a vote of no confidence against the Minister of Agriculture. The Sejm will also appoint the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

At the request of Civic Platform, the current affairs briefing, scheduled from 2:15 PM, will address the situation in education and the planned teachers' protest. Among the questions in current affairs, parliamentarians will seek to learn, among other things, details regarding the prosecutor's office's actions concerning Srebrna (PO-KO motion), the Podkarpacie affair (PO-KO motion), and the level of healthcare financing in 2019 (PiS motion).

At 9:45 AM, the Amber Gold investigative committee will convene for a closed-door session once again. Immediately after the votes, the VAT fraud investigative committee will begin hearings. Former Minister of Economy, Waldemar Pawlak, will appear before the MPs first, followed by Karol Jen, a former advisor to the "Friendly State" committee.

At 11:00 AM, President Andrzej Duda will participate in the international conference "How Communism Fell. 1989 in Central and Eastern Europe". At 1:00 PM, Spring's program convention will take place with the participation of Robert Biedroń. As the leader of Wiosna emphasized, Poland hasn't been investing in education for years, and this isn't just about the current government.

- We need to strive for the teaching profession to be an elite among professions. It cannot be the case that some teachers are treated better and others worse, and that is how it is today. The Mayor of Słupsk published the salaries of all teachers. Do you know which teachers earn the most, and in which subject? Catechists. Priests and catechists. Is this normal in a state of law? Not normal. There are the equal and the more equal in this profession. This needs to change - stated Robert Biedroń in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Today, as Wiosna, we believe that after the era of investing in infrastructure – it's good that we invested in highways and stadiums – it's time to finally invest in people - added the leader of Wiosna.

Following the government's decision on Tuesday, when we adopted the draft law regulating the so-called "taxi" market, i.e., passenger car transport, after the adoption of this bill, we finally have a situation where this area will be an area of equal competition. In the morning voting session, Members of Parliament adopted the government's bill on a one-time monetary benefit for pensioners and disability pensioners in 2019, the so-called Emerytura Plus (Pension Plus). The vast majority of MPs voted "for" – 3 voted against, and 12 abstained.

Katarzyna Lubnauer's party submitted a minor amendment to modify the provisions of the government's draft bill, only to withdraw it before the voting block, as confirmed by the Speaker of the Sejm. Some of our sources suggest that the European Coalition deemed the issue of civil partnerships to be detrimental in the current climate, and that Civic Platform may have pressured for the matter to be downplayed.

The amendment concerned a government draft bill on the submission of certain official documents in EU member states, which in practice deals with the mutual recognition of documents by authorities within the EU. To the original wording "a certificate stating that, according to Polish law, a marriage can be contracted," Nowoczesna sought to add "a certificate is also issued in the event of wishing to enter into a civil partnership in another EU member state."

The amendment was submitted in committee, subsequently failed, and was consequently put forward as a minority motion – it was the only amendment scheduled for a vote. Ultimately, this did not happen, and only the bill's adoption was put to a vote. – *I inform you that the amendment has been withdrawn* – announced the Speaker of the Sejm.

During yesterday's session of the parliamentary committee, Mirosław Suchoń, who submitted the amendment on behalf of the club, argued that the club desired "a provision in the law stating that a certificate confirming that, according to Polish law, a marriage can be contracted – that this certificate would also be issued in the case of wishing to enter into a civil partnership in another EU member state." – *There are no reasons, ladies and gentlemen – I am addressing the government here – to stand in the way of our citizens' happiness, therefore I request the adoption of our amendment* – stated the politician from Nowoczesna.

A rift between the Civic Platform-Civic Coalition club and Nowoczesna became evident yesterday in the aforementioned Committee on Administration and Internal Affairs during the second reading. Although PO MPs supported Suchoń's amendment in the debate, only he voted for it during the vote. The remaining opposition clubs abstained.

The scope of the law, which was the subject of the amendment, related to one of the documents that a Polish citizen can already present abroad, confirming their legal capacity. Such a document can be obtained at any time. It does not currently have the consequences described in the article's title, nor would it have had such consequences after the amendment's adoption. Therefore, the article's title is inaccurate.

The Nowoczesna Parliamentary Club submitted an amendment changing the wording of art. 2 point 15 of the Act on the submission of certain official documents in EU member states in order to avoid potential interpretational doubts, so that a certificate confirming that a marriage can be contracted according to European law would also be issued to persons wishing to enter into a civil partnership in EU member states.

However, during further expert consultations, it turned out that such a document is not required in any country, and certificates confirming that someone is not in a partnership are also currently issued by the authorities of every municipality to individuals who wish to marry or enter into a civil partnership abroad. Therefore, there was no need to create new legal solutions. The proposed amendment proved to be unnecessary, hence its withdrawal.

- Poles, by going to the polls, on their own feet and with a pen in hand, changed and nullified the Round Table Agreements. And in essence, at that moment, they should have ceased to be binding. Regrettably, for years thereafter, any loyalty in Poland was applied, and it was done by people originating from the broadly understood "Solidarity" movement. It should have ended then, and we should have begun a true revolution and genuine democratic changes, truly democratic, as the society expressed through its will in those elections. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Then came a dark day, also June 4th, but in 1992, when Prime Minister Jan Olszewski's government was overthrown. And unfortunately, to a large extent, this was done by people who also came from that broadly understood "Solidarity" movement - said President Andrzej Duda during the international conference "How Communism Fell. 1989 in Central and Eastern Europe."

- There was supposed to be work, humility, moderation. There was supposed to be respect, there was supposed to be dignity for everyone. There was supposed to be a completely different style of governing, but instead, there is arrogance and hubris expressed yesterday in Minister Ardanowski's words about the intellectual emptiness of farmers. This is unacceptable, we demand immediate apologies from all farmers in Poland who felt offended by Minister Ardanowski's words. We demand apologies to the protestors. This is an independent union, a protesting group, of course, but on their behalf, because they cannot do this in the Polish parliament, we demand immediate apologies from the Prime Minister and Minister Ardanowski. It is unacceptable to treat those who protest in this way - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a briefing in the Sejm.

- Prime Minister Morawiecki, Minister Ardanowski must resign immediately, and before that, an apology to the Polish countryside and farmers - emphasized the leader of the PSL.

- I am a protégé of Waldemar Pawlak, so I have great respect for our leader, the former Prime Minister. He is a great leader of the PSL and I am proud that I had the opportunity to work with him in government and that he drew me into big politics. For that, I thank him heartily once again. There are those who will try to sow discord among us in the coalition, and sometimes within the political party. Calmly, we have survived such attempts before. How many seats are we counting on? We will be happy with every one. It will be a tough fight for each seat – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a briefing in the Sejm. - This is a competition against a very difficult opponent. The leader of the Law and Justice party (PiS), Jarosław Kaczyński, met in the Sejm with representatives of Rural Women's Circles (Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich - KGW) from the Niedźwiada municipality.

Instead of fostering dialogue and caring for the common good, they look after their own interests and jobs. When the state budget becomes an ATM for party loyalists, there's no time for electric cars or new housing. Instead, we see ever-longer queues to doctors, increasingly slow-functioning courts, and still, every year, as many as 45,000 of us die from smog. There are also a dozen or so scandals, naturally involving PiS politicians. Scandals concerning millions from PGZ, from KGHM, money taken from the homeless and poor from the Polish Red Cross, and of course, plans to build skyscrapers for the party leader. This is not dialogue; this is not what democracy looks like. It's time to change this, it's time for Wiosna (Spring) – stated Robert Biedroń at the Wiosna convention.

In just a few weeks, in the elections, we will decide on the future of Europe and Poland's place in Europe. What is Poland known for in Europe today? For breaking civil rights, the Constitution, protests by successive social groups, successive diplomatic crises. What allies do we have in Europe today? Great Britain and San Escobar. The former is leaving Europe today, the latter is unlikely to have a chance of accession. We do not want such a Europe, such a place for Poland, and such partners. Instead of being a leader and one of the European helmsmen, we are the subject of jokes. After 4 years of Jarosław Kaczyński's and PiS's rule, Poland is also left in its weakest state in decades in the context of European and foreign policy. Poland in chaos, Poland torn by internal conflicts, Poland in ruins, but this is what we were promised - stated Robert Biedroń at the Spring convention. - For 4 years under PiS rule, Poland is closer to San Escobar than Europe. We must change this, and Spring will change it - he added.

– On the other hand, the European Coalition is no longer capable of generating genuine ideas, of inspiring Poles with their dreams, their hope for change. It is unable to counter Kaczyński's destructive policies. They still haven't realized that simply being anti-PiS is far from enough. That being anti-PiS today is not sufficient, because besides the idea of seizing power, you also need an idea of what to do with that power. It is difficult, however, to have a program when candidates are united by nothing but thoughts of positions. Today, you cannot simply be anti-PiS – stated Robert Biedroń at the Spring convention.

- It is incomprehensible to us that Civic Platform is covering for the autocrat Orban in the European Parliament. Orban, Kaczyński's closest political friend, is today in the same family there with Civic Platform. That is why I am appealing today from this place to the European Coalition. Within a week, submit a motion to remove, not suspend, Orban from your ranks. Otherwise, you will be unbelievable. One cannot defend democracy selectively. A comprehensive solution that will allow for effective cancer treatment, from prevention and accurate diagnosis, to effective and dignified treatment and a swift return to normal life - stated Robert Biedroń at the Spring convention.

“We are in the European Union because we respect diversity, the history of other countries, because people have the right to believe in different religions. We do not ask who sleeps with whom or what they believe in. We say that tolerance is a great matter. A person who is not tolerant is not European. We believe that the rule of law is a great matter. Those who break the constitution, who break the law, are not Europeans” - said the head of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), Włodzimierz Czarzasty, during the presentation of the European Coalition's program agreement.

Europe needs a new green industrial revolution. An economy based on coal, and we all know this today, and those who buried their heads in the sand for years and did nothing to move away from coal are now trying to outbid Spring on this. And today they suddenly say it's possible to move away by 2030. Show us how you'll do it, because for years you haven't managed to. An economy based on coal is the past. It is harmful to health, the environment, and does not serve people – stated Robert Biedroń at the Spring convention. - The Spring team will make bold decisions. We are proponents of a Green Deal for Europe. It's high time for a Europe free from coal and smog. Enough poisoning, and we will bring this about – he added.

- Polish women still do not have the same rights guaranteed as other European women. They cannot decide about their bodies, health, and lives. They do not have access to contraception. Women in Poland still cannot count on such basic things as pain relief during childbirth. Therefore, it is high time for a European Charter of Women's Rights - stated Robert Biedroń at the Spring convention.

- It is high time for the EU to become a single integrated visa area. It is high time for the Polish passport to be equal to the German or French passport. It is high time for Poles to be able to travel visa-free, just like their European compatriots from Germany or France. We cannot wait any longer. Therefore, from 2025, a single integrated, uniform European passport should replace national passports - stated Robert Biedroń at the Spring convention.

"Never in the history of education has there been such a moment of chaos and mess, and such arrogance. The situation in Polish schools is becoming more tense and nervous with each passing day," said Urszula Augustyn from Civic Platform (PO) from the parliamentary rostrum. "Minister Zalewska has packed her bags and is leaving. I hope that for packing up Polish education prematurely, the voters will hold her accountable."

In politics, credibility is paramount. Political declarations from various sides should be assessed through the prism of this credibility. The European Coalition has presented its, as it calls them, goals in the European Parliament that it wishes to pursue. When evaluating these proposals that have been voiced today, one must look at them through the lens of credibility and effectiveness. And what is the credibility of Platforma Obywatelska or the Civic Coalition? We all know and can see how they operate in the European Parliament today. MEPs from Platforma Obywatelska or the broader European Coalition are currently in a faction that governs in the European Parliament. They have been in that faction from the very beginning, for many, many years. They boast about how much they can achieve in the EU, how they are in a faction that imposes solutions on other countries, and how effective they can be. But what is the reality? This faction has, in fact, repeatedly shown that it votes against the interests of Poles, of Polish citizens – stated Beata Mazurek at a press conference. She added:

"The best example is today's vote concerning the so-called Mobility Package. Politicians from the European People's Party are doing everything to push through unfavorable solutions for Polish hauliers. And where are the politicians from PO, the European Coalition? Where is their effectiveness in convincing their colleagues, who are in the faction, that the proposed solutions are unfavorable to Poles and Polish hauliers? That they are hitting Polish companies. And it's always like that. Politicians from Platforma or the KE, because they hide behind the coalition's banner, ashamed of their own banner, speak grand words. They promise or announce grand goals, they claim what enormous influence they have in Europe. And it ends with them voting against Polish interests and being unable to convince anyone in the EPP for votes that harm Polish hauliers not to be adopted."

- Another example is the so-called ACTA2. You have heard many times from the lips of Platforma politicians that they would not support this solution. In effect, they supported ACTA2, voting to effectively enable censorship on the internet. How is it, gentlemen from PO, from the European Coalition, with your credibility?
