The National Village Head Day, organized by the Prime Minister's Chancellery and attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, will take place in Łowicz. As our interviewees explain, the event's aim is to integrate rural and small-town communities, and the government wants to foster the development of these areas through actions aimed at expanding and improving life in the countryside.

A solemn holy mass is scheduled for 12:00 PM, followed by the celebrations of the Village Head Day at 1:00 PM, during which, among others, the head of the Polish government will speak. Important PiS politicians and ministers will also participate in the event: Joachim Brudziński, Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, and Grzegorz Schreiber.

- Polish agriculture is our export brand, and for Morawiecki, it's an extremely important area - one of PMM's closest collaborators tells 300POLITYKA. Our interlocutor emphasizes that this is how the Prime Minister's Chancellery intends to continue the offensive launched at the February PiS convention. Over 1000 people are expected to arrive in Łowicz, including village heads from all over Poland. Additionally, stands featuring healthy Polish food will be exhibited in the hall.

- Grzegorz Schetyna rules Warsaw, not Rafał Trzaskowski. He started this ideological war and he made the decision that LGBT cards would be signed in local governments - said Błażej Spychalski from the Chancellery of the President on TVP Info.

- The problem is serious. I don't believe this was his [Paweł Rabiej's] private opinion. I recall Rafał Trzaskowski's statement, who dreamed of being the first mayor of Warsaw to marry a homosexual couple. This is a very coherent plan of the European Coalition. Rabiej revealed what was meant to be a hidden secret, what was supposed to be revealed after the elections. As PiS, we are and will remain against these kinds of ideas. Family is a union of a woman and a man, and this must be protected in Poland - stated Jacek Sasin in Dariusz Ociepa's program "Breakfast at Polsat News".

- The European Coalition should take a clear stance on the issue of same-sex couples adopting children - stated Paweł Mucha on Dariusz Ociepa's program "Śniadanie w Polsat News".

- Within every party, there are individuals who differ on worldview issues. We are in favor of registered partnerships. The question is how social consciousness will evolve. The needs of citizens will show which direction changes should take - emphasized Barbara Dolniak. In turn, Łukasz Rzepecki demanded the resignation of Paweł Rabiej.

- I believe this latest culture war, which erupted under the pretext of events in Warsaw, is not a good thing, because it allows PiS to evade core issues concerning Europe, the future of Europe, Poland's place in Europe, and the EU budget - stated Jarosław Kalinowski on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

- I think it's a mistake [Michał Boni's decision]. It seems to me that Michał Boni would have very real chances to become [a Member of the European Parliament] from that fifth place. Especially since his work as an MEP was highly rated by Warsaw residents. That's how it is. There's a Broad Coalition, and five entities have to fit in. Everyone must have their representation. Naturally, some must move aside to make room for others - Katarzyna Lubnauer stated on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench).

- [Kukiz'15's lists for the EP] are almost constructed - stated Agnieszka Ścigaj on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę". - All of us, sitting here, even those who have declared their interest, will find out if they are on these lists once they are registered - she added. - Most likely, next week you will learn these highly anticipated names - emphasized the MP.

- I know nothing about this [that Anna Zalewska would actually stay in Poland and oversee the education reform]. I hear a lot about this matter, but mainly only from the questions journalists ask me - stated Marcin Horała on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench).

At noon on Monday in Krakow, Patryk Jaki, in the company of Zbigniew Ziobro, will announce his candidacy for the European Parliament from the Małopolska-Świętokrzyskie constituency – 300POLITYKA has learned. The Deputy Minister of Justice will be the "number three" on the Law and Justice (PiS) list.

From Krakow, Jaki and Ziobro will travel to Kielce, the second capital of the Małopolska-Świętokrzyskie constituency – we hear.

- We stand shoulder to shoulder with teachers and will support them because you [the government] disregard them, you do not want to talk to them, and you do not respect their work. We stand shoulder to shoulder with teachers. We will support their protest - stated Bartosz Arłukowicz on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

– It’s so absurd it’s hard to comprehend. Jarosław Kaczyński shouts from the podium, "Hands off our children." Whose children? These are our children, Mr. President. And hands off them. I was thinking about my own children, whether they would want to have Grandpa Kaczyński, and I am a million percent convinced that they prefer to have Grandma Danusia rather than Grandpa Kaczyński. I'll say more, this even fits into a campaign line. Kaczyński drew it well. Because we are exactly going into a battle with you. We are going into a great battle with you and we will win this battle. We are going hand-in-hand with Poles to precisely protect our children from Kaczyński and Piotrowicz. That's why we are going to fight with you, in May and October, to protect our children from you, because it was none other than Kaczyński who ordered Polish women to give birth and said that women should give birth even if they are deformed, so that they could be baptized – stated Bartosz Arłukowicz on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

The upcoming week in politics will primarily be a continuation of the European Parliament election campaign – Civic Platform is planning its National Council, Spring will present its candidates, and Law and Justice (PiS) will hold another regional convention, this time in Wrocław.

The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) will hear a case concerning the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) – which will likely also become a campaign topic, and the VAT investigative committee will question, among others, Paweł Graś and Krzysztof Parchimowicz. An EU summit will take place in Brussels, and the President of Hungary will visit Poland.

Furthermore, it is most likely that President Duda will announce his decision regarding the act on compensation for public media this week, and the Senate will convene for a three-day session on Wednesday.

Jaki Announces Candidacy. On Monday at noon, Patryk Jaki will announce his candidacy for the European Parliament from the Małopolska-Świętokrzyskie constituency in Krakow, accompanied by Zbigniew Ziobro – 300POLITYKA has learned. The Deputy Minister of Justice will be the third candidate on the PiS list. As we hear, Jaki and Ziobro will travel from Krakow to Kielce, the second capital of the Małopolska-Świętokrzyskie constituency.

ECJ on KRS. On Tuesday, the Court of Justice of the European Union will hold a hearing concerning the Supreme Court's questions regarding, among other things, the National Council of the Judiciary's ability to fulfill its constitutional task of safeguarding judicial independence.

Graś's Interrogation. On Tuesday at 12:00 PM, the VAT investigative committee will question Krzysztof Parchimowicz, former director of the Organized Crime Department of the National Prosecutor's Office. On Wednesday, MPs will question Zbigniew Stawicki, former director of the Tax Audit Office in Bydgoszcz, and Beata Rogowska-Rajda, former deputy director of the Goods and Services Tax Department at the Ministry of Finance. On Thursday at 10:00 AM, the committee will question Paweł Graś, former secretary in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Scheuring-Wielgus Announces Candidacy. On Tuesday, at Plac Zbawiciela in Warsaw, Spring, along with Robert Biedroń, will continue its campaign to collect signatures for the European Parliament lists. "We'll see you at 1:00 PM at Plac Zbawiciela. A tasty spring surprise awaits you there," the organizers announced. According to our information, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus's candidacy will be announced at that time.

Senate. On Wednesday, the three-day session of the upper house will begin. Senators will consider 11 bills and will be informed about significant problems arising from the activity and case law of the Constitutional Tribunal in 2017, presented by TK President Julia Przyłębska. The Senate will also decide to discontinue the candidacies for lay judges of the Supreme Court. By February 25th, 28 applications had been received by the Chancellery of the Senate. Applications submitted after the deadline or not meeting formal requirements will be discontinued.

EU Summit. The European Council meeting will take place on Thursday and Friday. During the summit, the Council will focus on employment, growth, and competitiveness. EU leaders will also discuss climate change, external relations, and methods for combating disinformation. Heads of state will also address the need to protect the democratic and fair nature of European and national elections across the EU. Additionally, the EPP congress will take place this week.

Visit of the Hungarian President. On Friday and Saturday, the President of Hungary, János Áder, and his spouse will visit Poland. During the visit, the Hungarian President and his spouse will visit Kielce, where they will participate in the Polish-Hungarian Friendship Day celebrations with President Andrzej Duda and his spouse. Additionally, PAD's schedule for the upcoming week includes participation in the 90th-anniversary gala of Pekao S.A. bank and visits to Grodzisk Wielkopolski and Wolsztyn.

Civic Platform's National Council. "We have already begun the process of nominating names, specific individuals. We are preparing for the National Council meeting, which will take place on March 23rd. These are the names of individuals who, I deeply believe, will be recommended by the National Council and will be on the European Coalition lists," Grzegorz Schetyna said in the Sejm, announcing the Saturday National Council session.

Spring's Candidates for the EP. Also on Saturday, Robert Biedroń's party plans to present its candidates for the EP elections. "We will soon present our New European Team to you. Be with us on March 23rd at 1:30 PM at the Palladium in Warsaw, where we will introduce our female and male candidates for the European Parliament elections. It's time for Spring to finally arrive in Europe! Together we will give it wings," the organizers announced.

PiS Regional Convention. On Saturday, another regional convention of the ruling party will be held in Wrocław. It was originally scheduled for the previous week but was ultimately organized in Katowice. Such conventions will be held until the May elections.

PAD's Decision on Compensation for Public Media. In the coming week, President Duda should make a decision regarding the act on the so-called compensation for public media. The Senate adopted the PiS proposal at the end of February, so the 21-day period expires in a few days. It seems that the most probable scenario – after changes in the management of TVP – is signing the act.

I am very happy about this, to this day, that the Polish countryside, Polish agriculture, in difficult conditions, is also doing better and better in Europe, that we can export all over the world, that our policies, the tasks we are performing, serve this purpose."

- Poland without a Polish village would lack a Polish soul. I am convinced of this. The Polish village gives us strength, character, immense joy, and power drawn from Polish tradition, Polish culture, Christianity, and from all that constitutes the future of our generations. From this place, I would like to thank all the village heads, male and female, most warmly and bow to them on behalf of our entire government, on behalf of PiS - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Łowicz, during the Nationwide Village Head's Day.

- Today, all of Poland meets here on Łowicz land. It meets through you, the representatives. Yesterday, while in West Pomerania, I experienced what the work of farmers is like, people who, while striving for bread, for these basic food articles every day, also want to have a sense of security. And just as after the beginning of the 90s, the West Pomeranian village, the so-called post-state farm village, was left to itself, how it was often ridiculed, and how a synonym for a peasant, a resident of a post-state farm village, also broke through into the multimedia space, how much laughter there was, today, through the social policy of the PiS government, we are restoring, we are trying to restore dignity to Polish mothers, fathers, precisely the residents of this land, the land of West Pomerania, Lubusz, Greater Poland. where this village was left to itself at the beginning of the 90s. How the PiS government, Prime Minister Morawiecki's government, is trying to support Polish farmers from Szczecin to Podkarpacie, from Podlasie to Lower Silesia. Because the heart of Poland beats here, the heart of our families. And I want to assure you that just as the residents of this metropolitan Poland, Warsaw, Poznań, Łódź, Gdańsk, Szczecin have the right to security, the residents of this district, municipal Poland have the same right to security. Hence our actions aimed at restoring the police, police stations, supporting the Volunteer Fire Brigades (OSP) – stated Minister Joachim Brudziński in Łowicz, during the National Village Headmen's Day.

As 300POLITYKA has learned, tomorrow morning, buses with the so-called "new five" of PiS, sometimes also referred to as Kaczyński's Five, will set off across Poland. As part of government consultations on the projects, the buses will visit towns and cities in all voivodeships.

Voivodeship Offices are responsible for the implementation of these projects. The campaign will be conducted throughout Poland – for example, in the Masovian Voivodeship, the buses will appear in Warsaw, Pruszków, and Radom on Monday.

Furthermore, as we hear, a presentation of the project to extend the 500+ program to the first child is also planned for the coming week.
