Libicki:

In 2006, Jarosław Kaczyński boasted in Brussels about how many homosexual individuals were among his ministers. PiS is exceptionally conciliatory when it comes to realistically addressing these issues.
- PiS is thus setting a trap for conservative voters like me. It pursues an adventuristic policy in the EU but knows that 80% of Poles want to be in the EU, and it knows that the majority of Poles are against LGBT postulates. And if you don't want this policy, you have to vote for us. When it comes to a real election campaign, the candidates in Warsaw were for in vitro and there was no real difference. Patryk Jaki's actual government wouldn't have been much different. In 2006, Jarosław Kaczyński boasted in Brussels about how many homosexual individuals were among his ministers. PiS is exceptionally conciliatory when it comes to realistically addressing these issues - said Jan Filip Libicki on TVP Info.

Zandberg:

You're Brainwashing Yourselves. Your Voters Are More Sensible Than You. Half of PiS Voters Support Civil Unions
- You're brainwashing yourselves. Your voters are more sensible than you are. Half of PiS voters support civil unions - Adrian Zandberg stated on TVP Info.

Sasin:

Inciting an Ideological War in Poland is Their Program, While a Program to Raise Poles' Living Standards is Lacking
- Inciting an ideological war in Poland is their program, while a program to raise the living standards of Poles is lacking. It's clear that the issue of credibility divides us. They can't even decide whether we are implementing their demands or if it's political corruption and budget ruin. Unless, of course, they presented these proposals without any intention of fulfilling them. What we promise, we deliver. We are implementing it not after the elections, but right now – said Jacek Sasin on TVP Info.

Mucha to Jaki: You're Starting to Incite Hatred Against LGBT People

- You are starting to incite hatred against LGBT people. Just as you previously incited hatred against refugees, then against Jews, right now you are inciting hatred against LGBT people - said Joanna Mucha in "Breakfast at Polsat News" by Dariusz Ociepa, addressing Patryk Jaki.

On the LGBT Declaration: A Document Contradictory to the Constitution in Many Respects. I Even Wondered if I Shouldn't Wear a "Constitution" T-shirt to This Program

- You just need to read the [LGBT] declaration signed by the Mayor of Warsaw to understand how scandalous this document is. A document contradictory to the Constitution in many respects. I myself wondered if I shouldn't wear a "Constitution" T-shirt to this program - stated Patryk Jaki on Dariusz Ociepa's "Breakfast at Polsat News".

Zgorzelski on the PSL Rebellion: This Rebellion is Most Visible on TVP Info and in the PiS Narrative

- This rebellion is most visible on TVP Info and in the PiS narrative. I want to calm things down, but unfortunately also disappoint those who might be counting on something like that, as there is no rebellion. There was an isolated case of Mr. Sławomir - stated Piotr Zgorzelski during Dariusz Ociepa's "Breakfast at Polsat News".

Zandberg:

Let's Limit Pharmaceutical Companies' Privileges and Make Prescription Drugs Free for Patients
- We want to limit the privileges of pharmaceutical companies, which get the right to rake in public money for 20 years. Let's limit this and introduce free prescription drugs for patients - said Adrian Zandberg.

Zandberg on the 13th Pension: You Didn't Write That 500 Plus is Only for a Year. Sasin: If We Govern, It Will Be Permanent
- Let's be serious, when something is written as permanent, it's written as permanent, not for a year. You didn't write that 500 Plus is only for a year - said Adrian Zandberg on TVP Info. - If we govern, it will be permanent - replied Jacek Sasin.

Wenderlich:

We've calculated that after joining the Eurozone, earnings and pensions will increase. Why is PiS against it? Because you would lose one demon you can scare people with.
We've calculated that after joining the Eurozone, earnings and pensions will increase. Raising the standard of living. We are for entering the Eurozone. Why is PiS against it? Because you would lose one demon you can scare people with - said Jerzy Wenderlich on TVP Info.

10:51

Sasin:

In the Eurozone, Prices, Not Pensions, Are Rising. You Propose This Because You Want to be Liked in Europe and be in the Mainstream. Is This Profitable for Poland and Poles? Do You Want to Do What Brussels Elites Want?
- It is not currently beneficial for Poland to join the Eurozone. Poland is developing twice as fast as the Eurozone today. Why should we expose Poles to a sharp rise in prices to realize an ideological project. In the Eurozone, prices, not pensions, are rising. You propose this because you want to be liked in Europe and want to be in the mainstream. Is this profitable for Poland and Poles? Do you want to do what Brussels elites want. And when you have no arguments, Polexit appears – said Jacek Sasin on TVP Info.

Neumann:

Claiming 4-year-olds will be sexualized is absurd. There is no such document.

- This is a declaration of [LGBT] equality, of human equality and tolerance. What Chairman Kaczyński said is an outright lie. I am surprised, sometimes horrified, by the ease with which the PiS chairman or other important PiS politicians lie. Claiming that 4-year-olds will be sexualized is absurd. There is no such document - stated Sławomir Neumann on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

11:03

Jaki:

Instead of Fulfilling Promises for Warsaw Residents, Funds are Diverted to Benefit LGBT Organizations

- It is a shame and disgrace for Warsaw that instead of fulfilling the program promises, which I remember very well, concerning the improvement of the quality of life for Warsaw residents, they are being rejected, and suddenly significant additional funds are being allocated to improve the lives of LGBT organizations, at the expense of crossing the line of freedom that should not be crossed - stated Patryk Jaki on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

- What the Civic Platform is currently trying to do in Warsaw, or what the Civic Platform is doing in Warsaw, are matters very well known from Western European countries, but also attempted in Poland - he added.

Hetman on the LGBT Declaration: Instead of discussing how to rebuild Poland's strong position in the EU today, Trzaskowski has given the ruling camp arguments to put the opposition off with this issue.
Instead of discussing how to rebuild Poland's strong position in the EU today, unfortunately, that is the truth, Rafał Trzaskowski, I think completely unwittingly, has given the ruling camp arguments to put the opposition off today with this issue [the LGBT declaration], which, in reality, cannot be applied in Polish schools under Polish law today - stated Krzysztof Hetman on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

11:16

Jaki:

If You Choose PO-KO, They'll Do Exactly What They Did in Warsaw, Across All of Poland, and You'll Have Such Stories That Your Children May Be Dressed Up, Boys as Girls, Girls as Boys

- We face a choice. You may not support us, the United Right, but if you choose PO-KO, they will do exactly what they did in Warsaw, across all of Poland, and you will have such stories that your children may be dressed up, boys as girls, girls as boys - stated Patryk Jaki on TVN24's "Coffee on the Bench".

Political Week Ahead: Foreign Minister's Expose, PiS Convention in Wrocław, Constitutional Tribunal on KRS, Dulkiewicz's Swearing-In, Polish President in Czech Republic, Polish Prime Minister in Hungary

The upcoming week in politics will primarily feature the so-called expose of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the swearing-in of the new Mayor of Gdańsk, the Constitutional Tribunal's ruling on the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS), another regional convention of the Law and Justice party (PiS) – this time in Wrocław – and the presentation of another project from the so-called Kaczyński's Five.

The Sejm will convene for a three-day session – the only one this month – and the VAT parliamentary committee will interrogate Krzysztof Bondaryk. President Andrzej Duda will visit the Czech Republic, and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will travel to Budapest. MPs are also expected to address a bill concerning Sunday trading.

*****

Dulkiewicz's Swearing-In. On Monday at 12:00 PM, the Gdańsk City Council session will take place, during which Aleksandra Dulkiewicz will be sworn in as the new Mayor of Gdańsk. She won the early elections in the first round, securing 82.22% of the votes.

PAD in the Czech Republic. On Monday, President Andrzej Duda will visit the Headquarters of the Multinational Corps – North East in Szczecin. On Tuesday, PAD, along with the Presidents of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, will participate in ceremonies marking the 20th anniversary of NATO enlargement, which will take place in Prague. Additionally, on Monday, the President will attend the official premiere of the film “Kurier”.

Presentation of the Local Connections Bill. As heard from the Prime Minister's Chancellery, the government plans to present another project from the new five-point plan, sometimes referred to as Kaczyński's Five, in the coming week. The presentation of the bill on local connections is planned for the coming days.

Bondaryk's Interrogation. On Tuesday at 1:00 PM, the VAT parliamentary committee will interrogate Krzysztof Bondaryk, the former head of the Internal Security Agency. An hour earlier, at 12:00 PM, the committee will convene for a closed-door session. This is the only interrogation scheduled for the upcoming week.

Foreign Minister's Expose. At the upcoming Sejm session, on Thursday shortly after 9:00 AM, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will deliver his so-called expose, which is an annual report on the tasks of Polish foreign policy – according to the preliminary schedule seen by 300POLITYKA. The debate on this matter will take up the main part of the day and is scheduled to conclude at 5:00 PM. The day before, on Wednesday at 3:00 PM, the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs will also hear the expose during a session closed to the media.

Constitutional Tribunal on KRS. On Thursday at 11:30 AM, the public announcement of the ruling concerning the KRS Act is scheduled. In essence, the matter pertains to the Sejm's election of KRS members from among judges, as well as an appeal against a KRS resolution regarding judicial appointments. The hearing was originally scheduled for January 3rd but was postponed. The TK's ruling announcement will occur a few days before the ECJ hearing on the KRS, which is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Sejm on Sunday Trading. Also at the upcoming Sejm session, on Friday morning, a motion to supplement the agenda with a point regarding the consideration of a bill amending the act on restricting Sunday trading is expected to be voted on. The motion was submitted by the PiS club – this information is noted next to the agenda item. It is not specified whether this concerns the bill submitted by the ruling party at the end of last year (which was, incidentally, frozen), as the print number was not provided – unlike in the case of the Modern party's bill.

PMM in Hungary. On Friday, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will pay an official visit to Budapest on the occasion of Hungary's National Day celebrations. The exact itinerary of the visit is not yet known, but it is confirmed that the head of the Polish government is scheduled to deliver a speech on the anniversary of the Springtime of Nations.

PiS Convention in Wrocław. The second regional convention of PiS will take place over the weekend. This time, the most important politicians of the ruling party will appear in Wrocław. The first event in this series took place in Rzeszów, and further events are planned for the coming weeks.

Possible Presentation of European Coalition Lists. - *By March 10th, the Civic Platform structures [have time to submit candidates for the European Parliament]. I think in the second half of next week, we will be able to tell everything* – Grzegorz Schetyna said last week on Radio Zet. Therefore, it is possible that the European Coalition will reveal its candidates as early as next week.

Dworczyk:

We Will Not Tolerate Attacks on Polish Families and Children, and We Will Use State Instruments to Prevent Them

- I hope there will be no revolution, no ideological war. The opposition would indeed like to ignite one, but in reality, all they have to offer is some kind of moral revolution. However, we, as PiS, say: we absolutely do not agree to attacks on the Polish family, Polish children, and we will use the instruments available to the state, the Ministry of Education, to prevent this. The primary task of the state is to protect children, the freedom of parents to raise their children within their families, and we will ensure this - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

Dworczyk:

Opposition Lacks a Program and an Offer for Poles and Families, Thus Attempting to Ignite an Ideological War

- This is another proof of what the opposition is undertaking, what the opposition is trying to do, it is further evidence that the opposition has no program, no offer for Poles, for Polish families, and is therefore trying to ignite an ideological war - stated Michał Dworczyk in a conversation with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".
