Saturday's Political Agenda: PiS Regional Convention and PM Morawiecki at a Picnic Commemorating Poland's 20 Years in NATO

At 12:00 PM, in the Exhibition and Congress Center in Jasionka near Rzeszów, a regional convention will take place with the participation of PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

- We are probably the only party on the Polish political scene that always presents a program, that wants to discuss substantive issues regarding program proposals. One can agree or disagree with us, but one cannot accuse us of not having a program. These programmatic declarations will be presented in Rzeszów - said Michał Dworczyk on TVP.

Following this, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will participate in a picnic commemorating the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to NATO. At 3:00 PM, a wreath-laying ceremony is planned before the monument of the 1st Podhale Rifles Regiment of the Home Army, and the lighting of a candle at the obelisk dedicated to a soldier fallen in Afghanistan. At 3:10 PM, he will attend the aforementioned picnic in Rzeszów.

New KPRM Clip on PiS's Programmatic Proposals:

I Believe That With the New Five, We Will Build the Poland of Our Dreams.

- I want to be the Prime Minister of all Poles, who cares for Poles and with all Poles in mind, we have prepared a new five, our new program. First, a program to increase mobility. The second point is pension plus. The next project is 500+ for every child. The fourth point is particularly for the young. For everyone who will be on employment contracts or mandate contracts, we want the PIT tax to be zero. For all important social, developmental, civilizational, and economic projects, we have the means. Our new five is intended to serve this purpose, and our credibility is the foundation for implementing this five. I thank all my compatriots for their trust, and I believe that with this new five, we will together build the Poland of our dreams – says Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a clip published by the Prime Minister's Office.

Pitera:

I am Not Running for European Parliament Seat

- I am not running for a European Parliament seat for the next term at all. I made this decision quite some time ago - stated Julia Pitera in a conversation with Krzysztof Ziemiec on RMF FM. - No, I didn't keep it a secret. I was asked about it twice and I said I wouldn't be running - and this is my decision, which is quite, I would say, historical - she added.

"I will not be among those who cyclically announce their retirement. I will certainly not [run] for the European Parliament, but when it comes to Polish politics - I am considering getting involved. In the autumn. I am not sure about it yet, because we will see what happens, but when it comes to my plans: I do not rule it out. No, I am not changing my party affiliation."

Kaczyński:

European Parliament and Polish Parliament Elections Are Fundamentally One Election. The Stakes Are the Future of Poles and Poland

- Two weeks ago, at a convention in Warsaw, I said that these elections, elections in two rounds, first to the EP, then to the Polish parliament, are fundamentally one election, and the stakes of these elections are the future of Poles, the future of Poland. And I will repeat, because certain things need to be repeated, that if our opponents win, it will not be as it was, but it will be worse than it was - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

12:33

Kaczyński:

Our opponents attack our social policy and, worse still, they attack families, even children

- We believe in Poles, in Poland. Poles will not let their freedom and right to choose be taken away – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

- Our opponents attack our social policy and, worse still, they attack families, even children. I wanted to say a few words about this. They attack our social policy by saying it's handouts. Well, either they don't want to understand or they truly don't understand what the two great goals of this policy are. Let's remember: poverty, and in particular destitution, humiliates, and in many cases, also deprives of dignity. This is a phenomenon we have managed to limit and will continue to limit. Restoring the dignity of Poles is our great goal. Our opponents do not understand this goal – added the PiS leader.

12:36

Kaczyński:

We Invest in the Family. The Family is the Fundamental Social Unit That Lies at the Foundation of Our Civilization
- We invest in the family. We invest in the family because the family is the fundamental social unit that lies at the foundation of our civilization. Also, of Polish civilization, of tradition. The family has an irreplaceable role when it comes to bringing forth new generations and raising them, preparing them for social life. Preparing them so that the next generation can continue the work of the previous one. That is why it is so important, so fundamental, for our life, for our future, both individual and national. That is why we invest in it and will continue to invest - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

12:38

Kaczyński on the New 'Five-Point Plan': Bold, But Realistic and Achievable
'The program, I'm talking about the latest one, the PiS five-point plan, is a bold program. Yes, bold, but at the same time realistic, a program that can be implemented, which we will implement. Those who say it won't happen will be disappointed,' stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

12:49

Kaczyński:

We Will Not Be Intimidated. We Will Defend the Polish Family

- This threat is an attack on the family. And it is an attack carried out in the worst possible way. Because in essence, it is an attack on children. A certain specific social engineering technique is to be applied here, and in some places in Poland, it is already effectively being used. It is difficult to call this upbringing. It is precisely social engineering, aimed at changing a person. At its center is the very early sexualization of children. It is hard to believe. I myself, until I read it, couldn't believe it, but it is supposed to start in the 0-4 period, meaning from birth to four years of age, and then there are subsequent periods, and the more you read about it, the more your hair stands on end - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

- Law and Justice, like the vast majority of Poles, is for tolerance, it is tolerant. Tolerance is acceptance of difference in various fields and respect for that difference. This acceptance, this respect, is also from our side. It is obvious - added the PiS leader. - But tolerance, yes, it must exist, it is a given. But one must not confuse tolerance and affirmation. Affirmation is support, striving for an institution or social phenomenon to expand and strengthen. In Poland, marriage and family are affirmed by our culture, but also by our law, including Article 18 of our Constitution. And we want to support this affirmation in the name of common sense and the Constitution, which cannot be violated, and we will support it. We will say "no" to the attack on children. Polish parents have the right to raise their own children. This is the fundamental function of the family, and we must defend it. We will not be intimidated by various kinds of campaigns. We will defend the Polish family, also in these elections - emphasized Kaczyński.

12:51

Kaczyński:

If Our Opponents Win the Election, They Will Take Away What We've Given, from 500+ to Early Retirement. That's Why It's Worth Getting Involved. Worth 'Biting the Grass'.

- Have no doubt, if our opponents win the elections, I'm speaking in particular about the autumn parliamentary elections, they will take away what we have given, starting with 500+, and ending with early retirement. They will simply take it away because even if they wanted to not take it away, they don't know how to govern and will carry out this attack on the family, on children, about which I spoke here. That is why it is so important to remember the stakes, which are the future of Poland, of Polish women and men. It is worth getting involved. It is worth, I will use a colloquial saying, but it is appropriate, 'biting the grass' - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

12:56

PJK at the Convention in Jasionka Points to Tomasz Poręba - The Top Candidate in the Voivodeship:

An Enormous Effort, Enormous Help.
In these upcoming elections, it is also about very concrete interests of Poland as a whole and individual regions. I will give Tomasz Poręba, a Member of the European Parliament, as an example. He is to be the number one candidate here, in this voivodeship. Has he secured anything for this land? I will give just one example - Via Carpatia. It was supported by several hundred, perhaps 500 MEPs, and it had been questioned before; a transport corridor was established. This is an enormous effort, enormous help from Mr. Tomasz. So, in short, while fighting for these most important matters, for the matters of our future in various aspects, fighting for various issues that directly concern the EU, we must remember that we are also fighting, striving for the interests of our regions, that much is decided in the EU, and with diligence, appropriate competencies, and proper determination, a lot can be achieved, even when one is almost alone against everyone – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

12:58

Kaczyński:

We Must Fight, Fight, and Fight Again. We Must Bite the Grass

- In short, we must fight, fight, and fight again. We must bite the grass and thanks to that, win. For Poland, for Poles, for Polish families, but also for us – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

PMM:

Just as Ania Dąbrowska and her father showed how to win 'The Voice Kids,' we want to win the votes of Poles, the voice of Poland, 'The Voice of Poland.'

- I would like to start with a certain challenge. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of speaking with a young, very likeable person from Podkarpacie. It's Ania Dąbrowska from Wesoła near Dynów. Do you know her? From your faces, I can see that you not only know her but like her very much, perhaps even adore her, just as all of Poland has recently felt about her when she won 'The Voice Kids' competition. Beautifully, through her work, perseverance, and willpower. And this is also my answer to the question someone asked me in Warsaw: why are we starting with a congress in Podkarpacie? Here, with the Marshal and in our beautiful Podkarpacie. I think the answer is clear. Because it is precisely in Podkarpacie that you always show how beautifully you can win. Win the fight for a better Poland. And just as Ania Dąbrowska and her father, with whom I spoke, showed how to win 'The Voice Kids,' so we want to win the votes of Poles, the voice of Poland, 'The Voice of Poland,' and we will win - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:07

PMM:

This is Our Philosophy. We Make Promises, We Keep Them, and They Will Change Poland for the Better

- What has been revived by PiS, what has seen the light of day in its full glory, and what we do not appreciate, and speak too little about, and boast too little about, is the revival of democracy. It's showing that an election ballot actually matters. That voting for a particular party means you can have faith in the promises that party makes. This is precisely our philosophy. We make promises, we keep them, and they will change Poland, they will change it for the better – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:14

PMM:

Our Political Rivals See Europeanism as a Cultural Revolution. For Us, Europeanism Means a Better Life for Poles
Our political rivals understand Europeanism as a cultural revolution, as the implementation of novelties in customs, a cultural and ideological upheaval, while for us, Europeanism means a better life for Poles, ensuring transportation links, 500+ for the first child, Emerytura Plus, and a zero PIT tax – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:17

Morawiecki:

I Want to Be Prime Minister for Poland's Growing Middle Class. For Poles in Cities, Villages, and Towns. The Working, Those Who Need Support, Not the Elites or the Powerful. They'll Manage.

- We are increasing opportunities in the labor market and raising wages. We are raising wages for all working Poles. At the same time, we are building a middle class. I want to be prime minister for Poland's growing middle class. For Poles in cities, villages, and towns. The working, those who need support, not the elites or the powerful of this world. They'll manage. PiS is the best steward of this land - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:21

Morawiecki:

Credibility is the Foundation of All the Changes We Want to Implement
- The foundation of all these changes that we want to implement is credibility. Rafał Weber drew my attention to the fact that this beautiful word is composed of two beautiful words: faith and dignity. We must have faith that we can change Poland and we have the strength to change Poland, and we must change it in a way that ensures the dignity of families, connected with material existence and also with what the President spoke about. About the value of Polish families, Polish culture, tradition, identity. We will defend this. This is also our credibility – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:27

PM on the Opposition: "You can choose a frontrunner who is, as it were, for farmers, for rural Poland, for agriculture, and yet pick someone who is for the liquidation of KRUS"

- We are already today showcasing our excellent representation, which will defend Poland's national interest there in Europe, the EU, Brussels. They will not scatter across all possible parliamentary groups. Our political competitors, one of their leaders, does not hide this. He says: nothing connects us among ourselves, so it's clear that it's a bit like a lottery machine. Like in 1947, the ballot box is a magical box, you vote for Mikołajczyk, and Gomułka comes out. It's a bit like that. It's hard to decide whether to choose Mr. Bronisław, Mr. Włodzimierz, Ms. Ewa, or Mr. Andrzej, because it's difficult to decide. You can choose a frontrunner who is, as it were, for farmers, for rural Poland, for agriculture, and yet pick someone who is for the liquidation of KRUS. It's unbelievable, but unfortunately, that's how it might look - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:32

PM:

We want to influence Europe's destiny. Thanks to the Visegrad Group, we halted the insane migrant policy. We are showing how to shape the entire EU's policy

- Our opponents sometimes accuse us of doing too little, of being too late. I believe that we can indeed do even more, that the first half, the first round, which is also ahead of us, of these elections, the European Parliament elections will be crucial in ensuring future victory in the parliamentary elections. This is the fundamental condition for continuing our policy, a policy of change for people, for entrepreneurs, change for Polish families, for preserving Polish culture, Polish tradition, so that Poland can finally realize its ambitions, aspirations, because Poland does not fit just between the Bug and the Oder rivers, of course, this is not a revision of borders, but our aspirations are greater. We want to influence the destiny of Europe, just as we managed to achieve an enormous amount thanks to the Visegrad Group, to halt this insane policy related to refugees and migrants. We are showing how to shape the policy of the entire EU while preserving our Polish identity and interests. This is our commitment - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:36

PMM:

Onward, Poland, Towards New Achievements and Aspirations. Onward, Towards New Victories That Will Ensure a Better Life for All
Finally, I will once again refer to our wonderful teenager, to Ania Dąbrowska. She sings such a song, one of her beautiful songs: 'Onward, onward.' So, onward, Poland, towards new achievements, aspirations. Onward, onward, towards new victories that will ensure a better life for all – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:44

PiS Presents its European Declaration

- Here in Rzeszów, we as PiS want to present our goals, aspirations, and ideas for proposals with which we want to run in these elections. We want to present our Programmatic Declaration, the PiS European Declaration. It consists of 12 points. We want to present these 12 points here - said Tomasz Poręba at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.

13:49

Kaczyński:

We will win, among other reasons, so that no one can say: what France and Germany are allowed, Poland is not. What is allowed for those two states is also allowed for Poland.

- We will win, among other reasons, so that no one can say that what France and Germany are allowed, Poland is not allowed. What is allowed for those two states is also allowed for Poland – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Rzeszów.
