Today, President Andrzej Duda will meet with soldiers of the 15th Mechanized Brigade of Giżycko and soldiers from the USA, Great Britain, Romania, and Croatia forming the NATO Multinational Battlegroup, at the training ground in Orzysz, as part of NATO's enhanced forward presence on the eastern flank.

The President will also visit Chełchy in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship today. At 3:00 PM, a wreath-laying ceremony is planned at the plaques dedicated to the late President Aleksander Kaczyński and the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe, as well as Poles murdered in the camps in Ostaszków, Charków, and Miednoje. Subsequently, at 3:30 PM, PAD will meet with the community of the Primary School named after Lech Aleksander Kaczyński.

At 10:00 AM, the parliamentary committee investigating VAT fraud will interrogate Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, former Minister of Justice and current head of NIK. Also at 10:00 AM, a hearing of the Verification Commission will commence regarding the area of Aleja Stanów Zjednoczonych near Gocławskie Lake, Aleja Stanów Zjednoczonych, and Ulica Bora-Komorowskiego. - The government said it would be fine, particularly in the context of the approaching demographic bulge in school enrollment. When you talk to school principals and students, they all say they don't know what awaits them and what it will look like. I could say that two years ago, when the reform was carried out, I wrote speeches to the Minister and pointed out this very problem - stated Adam Bodnar in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". He added:

"We must remember that we are in a very specific situation, entering the resolution of disputes under the Act on the Resolution of Collective Disputes. This is a very difficult procedure, because one doesn't immediately say that a strike is being organized and that strike is imminent. First, negotiations and mediations begin. Only when these yield no results is a strike announced. Furthermore, a referendum must be organized along the way. It seems to me that the teachers didn't so much rush as they saw that something was wrong. Because on one hand, it probably looked like they had somehow reached an agreement with the government, and one could say that the protest action was called off. Then, it suddenly turned out that there were also 40 billion PLN for additional social programs, and they said: well, but what about our demands then? That's not what we agreed upon."

- We had a conversation on this topic with Sylwia Spurek at the beginning of February. Formally, I didn't know [about her political plans]. When we had the conversation, I found out. She had been asked about it in press interviews before. There was an interview with Magdalena Rigamonti where she said that if she were to make such a decision, the Ombudsman would be the first to know, of course. I believe that every person has the right to exercise their passive and active electoral rights. In this situation, as I understand it, Dr. Spurek has made such a decision - stated Adam Bodnar in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I think we could consider in the future how this should be resolved. It seems to me that somewhere in the future, we could think about it [introducing a cooling-off period] - added the Human Rights Ombudsman.

- I have no political plans [after my term as Ombudsman ends]. I'm not thinking about politics. For now, I'm thinking about the university. I have started the habilitation procedure, that's a priority for me. There are various life options I might have after my term ends - stated Adam Bodnar in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's 'Rozmowa Piaseckiego'.

- Yesterday I sent a letter, a reply to Ms. Zybertowicz's letter. This morning, this letter was published on the Ombudsman's website. I would like Ms. Zybertowicz to read this letter first and confirm receipt. So I encourage you to visit the RPO website. The full text of the letter is there. I point out that, of course, I agree that we have an excessive tendency in recent times to resort to legal proceedings, that for every dispute, for every word, it's straight to court. Anyway, I am an example of this myself, because I have been sued by TVP. However, I also indicate that if this group simply wanted to talk to Professor Zybertowicz, meet, perhaps agree on some form of apology, a joint stance, then my office can be that neutral ground where they can meet and talk - stated Adam Bodnar in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- "As of now, based on what we know, these are media reports, but also from what is being said in the European Parliament, and from conversations with my colleagues from Hungary, with MEPs recently, there are indeed about 9-12 countries determined to remove Fidesz from the EPP, with a strong emphasis on the largest member states, while the majority are either hesitating or are decidedly against it. The situation is still unclear, but it also shows an extraordinary lack of democracy and a certain freedom of opinion within the EPP, because any deviations from the mainstream norm or views that serve greater sovereignty, the building of a sovereign Europe of fatherlands, are being suppressed and excluded from the political discourse within this political formation, this political group," stated Tomasz Poręba in an interview with Paweł Lisiecki on "Trójka Political Salon".

- "We will see what happens with Fidesz, but if, hypothetically assuming, it turns out that Fidesz is excluded from the EPP, then certainly the ECR group, which I think has a great future ahead of it in the EP, I think we will be significantly strengthened, despite Brexit, after the departure of British MEPs, I think we will have new MEPs from Spain, Italy, and Sweden, I think we will have a similar number of seats as we do now in the next EP, so certainly, in the case of Fidesz being excluded from the EPP, the natural place, the common ground, the platform for cooperation in the EP for Fidesz, ECR, and PiS would be precisely our political group," added the PiS MEP.

Certainly, there is a significant difference between us and the European Coalition because we have a certain programmatic cohesion and consistently present proposals that we are implementing, and we are proposing further solutions important from the perspective of Poland and Poles, Polish families or entrepreneurs, and the Polish economy. On the other hand, our political opponents are a conglomerate of parties that are very strongly ideologically contradictory. This is a question that Poles will have to answer for themselves in May when voting in the European Parliament elections. Do they want to bet on a party that is all over the place, on one hand individuals who want to put the Catholic Church on trial at The Hague, and at the same time being in the same coalition with the PSL, which refers to Christian values, or on a party that has been consistently implementing the program of good change for many years, accelerating Poland's development, ensuring greater security for Polish families, supporting entrepreneurship, lowering taxes, and implementing this program of building a strong, European state - stated Tomasz Poręba in an interview with Paweł Lisiecki on "Trójka's Political Salon."

“The number of Polish patients considered cured of cancer, meaning they have survived for 5 years, is decreasing. In Europe, we are only better than Lithuania and Bulgaria, meaning we are at the very bottom in terms of cancer survival rates. The government, which has learned to demolish everything, has also effectively demolished the healthcare system. Hospitals are record-indebted, beds are being eliminated, and someone can leave the ministry and say that 3,000 fewer beds is not a big deal, but these 3,500 fewer beds mean more difficult access to treatment and hospitalization. The queues, which have now demonstrably lengthened, are evidence that absolutely nothing has been done in the healthcare system for 4 years. Today, we can see the true face of PiS. There is money from the National Health Fund (NFZ) to finance agencies and the president’s salary, but there is no money for treating cancer patients. “I believe that Lech Kaczyński deserves to be commemorated in Warsaw, but I do not want to initiate this during the heat of the European Parliament election campaign, and later the parliamentary elections, because I know very well that during an election campaign, we would have political noise. On the occasion of the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the 10th anniversary of the "Gazeta Polska" club in Szczecinek, Beata Mazurek commented on the subsequent events. The plaque was unveiled by the Civic Platform (PO) and its unveiling ceremony was attended by, among others, Tomasz Lenz and Piotr Kruszyński. However, the plaque quickly became a source of controversy.

According to Beata Mazurek, a politician from the Law and Justice (PiS) party, the plaque contained a number of falsehoods. "This plaque is full of lies," Mazurek stated, adding that it misrepresented historical events and distorted facts concerning the activities of the PO.

Mazurek also addressed the reaction of a PiS MP, Marek Suski, who reportedly reacted strongly to the unveiling of the plaque. While acknowledging that Suski's response might have been provoked by the perceived misrepresentations on the plaque, Mazurek described his actions as an "overreaction." She argued that while the PO may have broken the law by presenting false information, Suski's forceful response was disproportionate.

This incident highlights the ongoing political tensions and sharp rhetoric prevalent in Polish politics, particularly between the ruling PiS party and the opposition Civic Platform (PO). The controversy surrounding the plaque underscores the deep divisions and differing interpretations of historical events and political narratives within Poland.

"[We will learn about the lists] in due time. I think that by the end of March or in the first days of April, everything will be finalized. This will be a major launch of our election campaign. Everything is on the best possible track. Negotiations were tough beforehand, and now it's evident there's a strong desire to work. The number of conflicts over candidate lists, which are always present, will be significantly smaller than those who wish us ill believe," said the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform (PO), Tomasz Siemoniak, in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

„For PiS, the bidding war is a certain hope, as they don't want to talk about Europe, schools, healthcare, or scandals: KNF, Srebrna, PCK. The outpouring of scandals is very large. They are not being explained. In the case of Srebrna, there is no investigation. A serious matter, and there is no investigation” – said the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform (PO), Tomasz Siemoniak, in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

“Prime Minister Morawiecki is a strange speaker. For a former bank president, I always thought he was a precise technocrat. He says: the opposition calls us wizards. Someone checked. We have never called PiS, or Prime Minister Morawiecki, wizards. He invents, he tries, sometimes it works out funny, sometimes less so,” said the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform (PO), Tomasz Siemoniak, in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News. “Less PR, less propaganda, and more governing and work – that’s always better for a government,” he added.

- A difficult campaign, even more difficult than a few weeks ago, because the Polish Jobbik has emerged, meaning a list of various right-wing politicians who will provoke PiS from the right. Jarosław Kaczyński's dogma is that the right flank is a wall, we guard this right flank, but in this election, this dogma might lead to guarding the right flank, yet losing the election - stated Adam Hofman in a conversation with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

- The question is whether it's worth sticking to this, or if it's better to fight for victory and deal with Jobbik in the coming months, leading up to the national elections - added the former PiS politician.

- Soon there will be polls and they will show that the bonus for coalition unity exists and that the [European] coalition is winning against PiS, despite the 'Five'. Of course, one must approach this sceptically, because with polls, it's still a long way to the elections, so they will vary. But Grzegorz Schetyna has won double, because please look, he gave up spots on the lists to coalition partners at the cost of Donald Tusk's people - stated Adam Hofman in a conversation with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

- It was a symbolic arrest of Jarosław Kaczyński. There was also the forceful removal of disabled protesters, and the protest plaque concerning the exhumation of Sebastian Karpiniuk was seized - Joanna Mucha said on Kropka nad I. - The minister got agitated because he says he saw himself on that plaque, he reacted emotionally, it has no significance. I didn't actually look closely at it - Marcin Horała responded.

- In my opinion, today the situation is a draw, and the election outcome will depend on the campaign. For both sides, a draw plus one is important, meaning one more vote. Victory matters; it will be important until the last moment. PiS, despite various opinions, is good at campaigns. They already have a staff of people who are not very visible, but when they appear, things start to look different – stated Adam Hofman in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

- I feel an incredibly large group has been humiliated. Giving this two weeks before the election is like a slap in the face. Here you go, and vote. It's such a humiliation for the entire group of pensioners and disability pensioners that I can't even comprehend it - said Joanna Mucha on Kropka nad I. - Well, you didn't actually humiliate pensioners in this way - Marcin Horała laughed.

- We have no knowledge of any relationship that may connect this lady with President Glapiński or the work she performs - stated Joanna Mucha in Kropka.

- Teachers are already receiving and will receive [raises], hence this breakthrough and acceleration of pay increases. Over 17 months, this is 508 PLN in the minimum wage, which will translate to an average of 800-900 to 1000 PLN. Teachers' salaries are quite complicated - stated Anna Zalewska in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".
