- It's about occurrences of ostracism that are currently happening within the Supreme Court itself. Some judges towards those newly appointed. There is this division between the old and new [judges], which is a division the President spoke about, an unpleasant one, that such things shouldn't happen in an institution composed of judges who are equal, professionally speaking, that suddenly some are considered worse and this is expressed – stated Andrzej Dera in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego," referring to President Duda's words yesterday about "humiliating another human being."
07:50
Dera:
There's a group of Supreme Court judges behaving undignifiedly
- I said that there is a clear conflict within the Supreme Court. Because it's not like all judges. There is a group of judges who behave in an undignified manner. Let's call it that. That's what the President was talking about - stated Andrzej Dera in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

Dera:
It Turns Out That Through Honest State Functioning, Revenues Increase and These Revenues Can Be Allocated to Social Goals

"You said clearly that if there are funds for social programs, the president will sign it. I replied that he will sign it, because there are funds. However, when it comes to an individual decision on this matter, whether the president will sign this bill or not, it is the president's decision, and when he makes it, he will announce it. [Injecting money into TVP] is necessary due to exemptions – I say this as a lawyer – from paying the license fee, and the principle until now was that these expenditures, which involve exempting a part of society from paying the license fee, are then compensated."

Lubnauer:
Petru Left Nowoczesna Voluntarily and Criticized It. It Would Be Incomprehensible If We Suddenly Formed a Federal Club
- All actions in politics should be understandable to voters, because that is ultimately the goal of politicians, to achieve their objectives by being elected. Therefore, if we want any actions to be accepted by voters, we must finally make them understand. And it would not have been understandable if Ryszard Petru, who, I will remind you, left Nowoczesna of his own volition, incidentally criticizing it quite harshly, to put it mildly, causing us considerable damage, were now to suddenly form a federal club. Unfortunately, no one has done more to weaken this liberal milieu than Ryszard Petru - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. - I do not think this is a good idea [a federal club]. We are attached to the name Nowoczesna - she added.
08:08
Lubnauer:
It will be completely natural if Ryszard Petru's 'Now' is also part of the European Coalition
- However, it is also a fact that we are currently in a time of creating a bloc like the European Coalition, and I believe it will be completely natural if Ryszard Petru's 'Now' is also part of the European Coalition - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

Nowoczesna has Always Supported a Higher Retirement Age and the Abolition of Pension Privileges. Simultaneously Recognizing the Lack of Majority Support, We Must Create a Program That Incentivizes Longer Work in Other Ways.
- It is already known that there will be no majority in the next Sejm that could raise the retirement age. This is because the largest opposition party, Civic Platform, has unequivocally stated that they will not raise the retirement age, and other solutions will need to be created... This is a very serious topic, linked to the future of finances and the dignity of future pensioners. The truth is that we are living longer and longer, and consequently, we are in retirement for longer periods. Currently, these pensions will fall to even around 20 percent of our last salary. This means we will truly have very meager pensions. Therefore, we must work longer. This can be achieved in two ways: either by mechanically raising the retirement age or by creating other incentives for longer work. Nowoczesna has always been in favor of a higher retirement age and the abolition of pension privileges. However, while simultaneously realizing that there will no longer be a majority to raise the retirement age, we believe that a program must be created, we must act based on reality, which in other ways activates employees towards longer work, incentivizing longer work – stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

Szydło:
The so-called '13th Pension' Program to Include Pensioners and Disability Benefit Recipients
„Our program - 1100 zloty - in May, the so-called 13th pension, an additional benefit for pensioners, but, and I want to emphasize this, also for disability benefit recipients. Pensioners and disability benefit recipients will be covered by this program. This is one of the important steps we are implementing” - said Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło on Jedynka radio.

"These lists, in fact, are already over ninety percent formed, and there are also many surprises, and truly, to use a journalist's language from yesterday's question, there are also cannons," said Marshal Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

"The Law and Justice (PiS) program is clear. All Poles have the right to benefit from economic growth. For almost 4 years, this is how we have been striving to implement everything we committed to the Polish people in 2015. Now we are proposing further solutions that are intended to support various social groups. The fact that there are pay rises for teachers, that there were pay rises for police officers, that there is an increase in the minimum wage and pensions, and now these additional proposals – this is possible thanks to the fact that we are pursuing good economic policy, skillfully managing public finances, decisively fighting those who have treated public finances and the state budget unfairly, and we have managed to seal the tax system and eliminate pathologies associated with billions of zlotys being siphoned out of the budget, which we can now allocate to where they should be spent" - said Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło at a press conference.
"[The so-called Kaczyński's 'fifth'] is covered in the budget. We discussed this yesterday at the Council of Ministers. The Prime Minister will present a roadmap in the near future and, step by step, consistently, as we have done so far, we will implement these projects. Today, I have a specific question for the politicians of the European Coalition, for all those who have mocked these programs, who speak of handouts, who paint a delusory vision of a second Greece before the voters. I ask for specific answers from the politicians of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), Civic Platform (Platforma), Polish People's Party (PSL), and Modern (Nowoczesna), all those who march side-by-side in the European Coalition today. Will you support the 500+ program for every child? Will you support the thirteenth pension for disability pensioners and retirees? Will you support zero personal income tax (PIT) for people up to 26 years of age? Have the courage to stand before the Polish people today and answer these three very simple questions. If you ever had the opportunity to govern Poland, would these programs be maintained" - she added.

Dworczyk:
Prime Minister Morawiecki to Present Roadmap Detailing Program Proposals Within 7 Days
11:46
- Today, the question is much more important, whether the questions already asked by Prime Minister Szydło and MEP Poręba, and I would also like to ask this question as a government representative. We are currently finalizing the laws that will allow the introduction of these five programs, which are important from the perspective of Poles. Today, the most crucial question is for the representatives of the opposition, the leaders of political formations. I would like to ask Mr. Schetyna, Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Ms. Lubnauer: can we count on you to vote for the law that will allow 500 PLN to be granted for every first child in every Polish family? Will you vote for the amendment to the law, through which the so-called 13th pension will be paid out? Will you vote for the regulations, through which young people up to 26 years of age will be exempt from PIT? Will you support the legislative proposals, through which labor costs will be reduced and we will be able to restore bus connections? This is a moment of truth, this is a question of the "checking" nature. So far, you have spoken very differently on this topic. Some of you have contested these ideas, some have claimed that we took them from your programmatic proposals. Today, we are asking you a question, and I very much ask that the opposition leaders respond to these questions - stated Michał Dworczyk at a briefing in the Sejm.
11:58
- We have only just seen the formation of the European Coalition, which comprises five parties and is open to other entities. There will still be time to make decisions regarding the [EP] lists. I won't hide the fact that, as observed in recent months, the center of the fight for the independence of Polish courts is shifting, and I see it moving towards EU institutions. If such a discussion is raised with me, I will certainly not shy away from it - stated Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.
12:01
Gasiuk-Pihowicz:
500+ Benefits Should Be Income-Dependent
12:35
- I don't know what [President Duda] meant, what cases of this aggressive behavior from colleagues who previously sat in the Supreme Court – stated Małgorzata Gersdorf in an interview with TVN24. She added:
"I haven't heard of such cases. No one came to me to complain. But [the President] also said that it concerns high-ranking individuals in the Supreme Court who are also behaving badly. Since I was at that ceremony, I believe it was addressed to me, and I am outraged, because I try to be polite and I try to somehow function with these two chambers, although of course, this has not met with our great applause."
13:20
„Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło, a candidate for the European Parliament, posed questions to the European Coalition at a press conference, thus inaugurating the Law and Justice (PiS) election campaign. Interestingly, the face of this campaign is a person who today questions opposition politicians, yet for a year could not explain what she was doing as Deputy Prime Minister and for what she was taking taxpayer money. She could not answer why she did not find time to come to the Sejm and meet with protesting individuals with disabilities. She also could not state what happened to the bonuses she unlawfully awarded to ministers in her government, where those sums went, and why they were not returned to the budget. Beata Szydło was the first prime minister to award herself a bonus she was not entitled to. It is difficult to find a better example of the political formation's embarrassment” - said PO spokesperson, Jan Grabiec, at a press conference in the Sejm.
„The European Parliament elections are something much more serious than evacuating discredited PiS politicians. This is a matter of fundamental importance for Poland, which is why we are formulating questions that PiS will have to answer during this election campaign and from which they will certainly not escape” - he added.
„One could say that the campaign slogan that will appear on PiS billboards is the famous 27:1. This is a symbol of PiS's European policy. It must be stated very clearly that without being in the European Union, any Polish initiative is threatened” - said Cezary Tomczyk from PO. „One fundamental question must be asked: Does Poland want to be in the European Union, or does it want to leave? This is the fundamental question in the European Parliament campaign. These elections are about this. Today, PiS stands at the head of the anti-European bloc, together with nationalists”.
„We are formulating five questions for Jarosław Kaczyński and the PiS government:
13:30
Łapiński:
PiS Imposed Its Narrative
- For five days, the 'Kaczyński's Five' has been the main topic. The ruling party imposed that narrative. And please look at what came before. There were issues related to Srebrna, there were questions concerning Mr. Kujda, matters with Israel. So, at every turn, a difficult situation requiring explanations. Now, once again, the ruling party is setting the tone. PiS has started setting the rules of the game - stated Krzysztof Łapiński on Onet Rano.
14:11
„We have concluded our first meeting with President Trzaskowski. It was our initial conversation. It proceeded in a very good atmosphere, we presented our concepts, doubts, and ideas regarding the possibilities of reconstructing and rebuilding the Saxon Palace. A discussion with the participation of experts who presented a catalogue of issues that need to be discussed and resolved. We jointly agreed that experts will meet next week and discuss the details” – said Marshal Stanisław Karczewski during a briefing.
„I confirm that the talks took place in a very good atmosphere. It was important for me to meet with the Marshal and discuss the concepts. There are a lot of questions. We need to sit down and talk about this topic, which is why we agreed to a meeting of experts. The most important thing is whether to rebuild the palace and what functions it would serve. We agreed that certainly, if this were to happen, they would have to be open functions that would serve all Varsovians, Polish women and men. We have decided to entrust the matter to experts” – explained the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski.

- This is certainly an outrageous piece of information for the public. Firstly, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the media, all politicians, parliamentarians, and the authors of this law on the transparency of NBP salaries, and to the President for speaking clearly and unambiguously from the very beginning of this crisis surrounding the earnings of some bank employees. What he said, he did – he signed the law. Thanks to this, we are moving closer to building better standards of transparency in public life in Poland - stated Jan Maria Jackowski in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
17:27
As 300POLITYKA has learned, a meeting of the PiS Political Committee will be held on Friday afternoon. The main topic of the ruling party's leadership gathering is expected to be the lists for the European Parliament. Our sources do not rule out the possibility that the lists could be adopted on that very day. The committee has already convened regarding the lists; at that time, the first and second positions in individual constituencies were presented.

Marshal's Guard's Intervention Against PO's 'Kaczyński's Arrangement' Board Fails; Marshals Refuse to Pass By It. Tomczyk: Perhaps No One Told Them Georgia Has a Different Alphabet and Language
A week ago, Civic Platform (PO) MPs (Tomczyk, Brejza, Witczak, Kierwiński) presented the "Kaczyński's Arrangement" board, illustrating connections between politicians and the "Srebrna" company. The board is located in front of the PO caucus. Today, the Head of the Sejm Chancellery attempted to have the board removed, requesting the Marshal's Guard to do so. However, PO MPs appeared on the scene and did not agree to the removal of the board. The Chancellery cited the desire to escort an international delegation from Georgia as the reason for the failed attempt. Ultimately, Marshals Kuchciński and Karczewski decided to take a detour rather than pass by the "arrangement" board. As Cezary Tomczyk told us: - PiS is so panickedly afraid of revealing Kaczyński's arrangement that even a delegation from Georgia is a problem for them. - Perhaps no one told them that in Georgia, there is a different alphabet and language - Tomczyk ironizes.
17:53
Kopacz:
The 13th Pension was part of our program, which PiS simply, brazenly stole
“[The 13th pension] was an element of our program, which they [PiS] simply, brazenly stole. They turned our idea into their idea. Why are they talking today about social promises they are making on the eve of the European elections, and not talking about them before the Polish parliamentary elections? I fear that if another episode of the Kaczyński tapes is revealed, we will soon receive vouchers for a car or free holidays in Mallorca for every family” – said former Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz in an interview with Karolina Lewicka in “Political Interview” on TOK FM.

I Have Never Been and Am Not an Anti-Semite
"I have never been and am not an anti-Semite" - said Paweł Kukiz in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on "Wydarzenia i opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News. "I am a person who divides people not based on racial affiliation, skin color, sexual preferences, etc., but into good and bad people".
19:59
Kukiz:
I will definitely not vote against 500+ for every child
"I will definitely not vote against [500+ for every child]. However, whether I abstain or vote in favor, I don't know yet" - Paweł Kukiz said in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski in "Wydarzenia i opinie" on Polsat News.

Lubnauer:
PiS treats entrepreneurs like cash cows. They want to feed them less and less, and place more and more obstacles. Eventually, such a cow dies.
„PiS treats entrepreneurs like cash cows. They want to feed them less and less, and place more and more obstacles. Eventually, such a cow dies. We have investments at the level of 17.8% of GDP. Mateusz Morawiecki, when he came to power, announced that investments would be at the level of 25%. Without investment, without ensuring long-term economic growth, there will be no money for projects like 500+” - said the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski in „Wydarzenia i opinie” on Polsat News.
20:20
„I voted against [500+ for every child] at the moment when the budget was not counted, not prepared, and the PSL's proposal was purely of a political and image-related nature” – said Minister Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News, referring to the PSL's tweet.
20:24
Dworczyk:
European Coalition Cannot Speak With One Voice. Lubnauer Says She Won't Support, PO Calls it Political Corruption, and Petru Says He Will or Won't Support. Total Chaos.
“The [European] Coalition cannot speak with one voice. Ms. Lubnauer says she will not support these [PiS] proposals, PO says they will support them, but calls it political corruption, Mr. Petru says he will or will not support them. Total chaos. This is precisely a good example of what the European Coalition is” - said Minister Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News.

– High salaries [at the NBP], and I think shockingly high for many Poles, but we must remember that the NBP indeed competes for employees with financial institutions, where one often earns even more – stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".
– I am stating the fact that in financial institutions in Warsaw, one often earns more, but I believe these salaries are very high – added the Deputy Marshal of the Senate.
20:35
Bielan:
I Don't Want to Defend NBP Salaries. What I Dislike Are the Proportions. It's Not the Communications Director Who Should Earn the Most, but Department Directors.
- I don't want to defend those salaries [at the NBP]. What I dislike about the published data are primarily the proportions. I believe it's not the communications director who should earn the most, but the directors of substantive departments, so I'm not defending the level of these salaries - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".
20:38
Bielan:
I don't think the issue of NBP salaries necessitates President Glapiński's honorary resignation
- I don't think this issue [NBP salaries] requires an honorary resignation. I believe Professor Glapiński is a very competent NBP president, and all of the NBP's results prove it – stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".
