At 8:30 AM in Warsaw's Praga-Południe district, the "300 Days of Morawiecki's Five-Point Plan" campaign will kick off, which we wrote about on 300POLITYKA. The head of government will visit Raszyn (at 10:00 AM, with Minister Andrzej Adamczyk), Białobrzegi (at 11:30 AM, with Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz), Jedlińsk (at 12:15 PM, with Minister Jerzy Kwieciński), and Zagańsk (at 2:10 PM, with Minister Teresa Czerwińska), respectively. In each location, the Prime Minister is expected to demonstrate how the promises made as part of the so-called "Morawiecki's Five-Point Plan" are being implemented in practice. At 4:35 PM, a meeting between the head of government and a large family is planned in Gołcza.

At 9:30 AM in Wrocław, Civic Platform leader Grzegorz Schetyna will issue a "statement regarding the Kaczyński affair".

At 2:30 PM in Warsaw City Hall, a declaration in support of the LGBT+ community in Warsaw will be signed. The meeting will be attended by the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, Aldona Machnowska-Góra, the coordinating director for culture and social communication, and representatives of organizations representing the LGBT+ community. 

At 6:00 PM, the parliamentary Justice Committee will issue an opinion on the PO-KO club's motion for a vote of no confidence in Minister Zbigniew Ziobro. The justification cites, among other things, scandals surrounding SKOKs (cooperative savings and credit unions) and the Financial Supervision Authority, and accuses him of violating the rule of law. 

A two-day summit of the Visegrád Group and Israel begins in Jerusalem. Poland will be represented by Minister Jacek Czaputowicz. Yesterday, the wPolityce.pl portal reported that the Prime Minister had informed Benjamin Netanyahu by phone about his absence. Earlier, the government had accepted Jerusalem's explanations regarding the Israeli Prime Minister's statement on Thursday about punishing those who accuse Poles of collaborating with Germans during the Holocaust.

- Since yesterday, the situation has indeed changed. We were faced with a disgraceful statement from the new Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs. In light of this statement, any participation of Polish state representatives in the V4 summit in Israel is now in very serious doubt - stated Michał Dworczyk on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1. As he emphasized, decisions on this matter will be made within the next few hours.

- This is not yet the start of the campaign [today's tour around Poland], although of course this year will be very hot in Poland, because first the European Parliament elections, then for the Sejm and Senate, these are the most important elections in Poland. But it has now been 300 days since Prime Minister Morawiecki presented the so-called Morawiecki's Fifth to Poles - stated Michał Dworczyk on "Sygnały dnia" PR1. - These 300 days are a good moment to summarize and show how the program is being implemented - he added.

When asked if the PiS convention would take place on February 23rd, i.e., next Saturday, the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister replied: - Such a date appears in the media. We can certainly expect new proposals in the coming days, but here we are moving from the ground of government-level discussion to the political arena, meaning information will come from PiS representatives regarding political events.

“We have not caused any crisis [with Israel]. We are one of the few European Union countries that is very friendly towards Israel. Israel today has a huge problem within the EU: with rapidly growing antisemitism in countries like France or Germany, and on the other hand, with the strong anti-Israeli stance of politicians in those countries,” said Deputy Speaker Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24. “[The Prime Minister’s absence] is a reaction to everything that happened on the fringes of the Middle East summit, including the words of Prime Minister Netanyahu. The Prime Minister decided that it would not be good for him to travel to Israel at this particular moment. An election campaign is underway there, and it’s evident from the statements of the Prime Minister and the shameful words of the new Israeli Foreign Minister that the election campaign is getting to some politicians in Israel too much,” he added.

"The words that Netanyahu uttered in Poland, and later what he said in subsequent statements by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are the subject of very sharp debate in Israel. The opposition is attacking Prime Minister Netanyahu for yielding to the Poles. It would not be good for the Prime Minister to travel to Israel in this atmosphere" - said Deputy Marshal Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24.

"This is a decision [regarding Czaputowicz's trip to Israel] that will be made by the Prime Minister and Minister Czaputowicz. [The Israeli Foreign Minister's statement about Poles sucking antisemitism with their mother's milk] was disgraceful and racist. I am surprised that such racist statements are tolerated in Israel. These are new circumstances that Minister Czaputowicz will certainly take into account," said Deputy Marshal Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24.

“Another insertion from the defenders of this gentleman [Gerald Birgfellner], purely political. This is a purely political operation. [Birgfellner] is currently in the hands of Jarosław Kaczyński's political opponents, who are trying to use this situation to harm Jarosław Kaczyński and PiS” – said Deputy Marshal Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24.

"Work for Poland means fulfilling promises. Effective politics is possible. We keep our word" - says the Prime Minister in a dynamic spot that 300POLITYKA is the first to publish. The spot is to be promoted in connection with Morawiecki's offensive during his tour of Poland, summarizing the implementation of "Morawiecki's Five Points". - "It's impossible, it won't work, there's no money for it." This was the favorite excuse of some Polish politicians for years. I always knew it wasn't true. In April 2018, I promised you a package of ambitious reforms, which fit into five points of our program. Again, from various sides, I heard that it couldn't be done. In 300 days, our government implemented this plan. We lowered corporate income tax, and the so-called "small ZUS" is already in operation. This is a significant relief for Polish small and medium-sized enterprises. We launched the " wyprawki" (baby bonuses) - says the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister also mentions the program for building local roads and "Dostępność plus" (Accessibility Plus).

- Credibility is not built with words or declarations, but with actions. What we have accomplished, we would like to report on to Poles today. I find much greater pleasure in presenting what we have done than in speaking about what we promise for the future. Because credibility is the foundation of politics. This is a new quality that we have introduced into politics. Diligence, effectiveness, consistency. So, let us account for these five points, Morawiecki's five points, after these three hundred or three hundred and twelve days - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, inaugurating the "300 Days of Morawiecki's Five Points" campaign. Among the fulfilled promises, the head of the Polish government primarily listed the school starter pack, the small ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) scheme, the local roads fund, a reduced CIT (Corporate Income Tax) rate to 9% for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the Accessibility Plus program. The head of the Polish government will visit three voivodeships today: Mazowieckie, Świętokrzyskie, and Małopolskie.


- These five points from Mińska Street are not five rogues, as many here still remember them from when I lived there, but five fulfilled promises. This is that new quality. Perhaps I will summarize it with the words of Prime Minister Olszewski, who asked in his last speech: whose Poland should it be? And he said: this is yet to be decided. Well, this is precisely what is being decided. Poland must belong to all Poles. This is the motto and driving force of our actions. This is what we strive for. This is what we want to achieve, so that all Poles benefit from the fruits of growth from economic development, and these five points bring us closer to that. I am glad that this confirms our effectiveness and our credibility - PMM continued.

- When I look at the effects of what Mr. Kukiz did for Poland, I see them mainly on music stages. After the death of President Adamowicz, we are moving away from aggressive language, which is like mothballs and dinosaurs. I don't use such language - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said in response to Beata Lubecka's question about Deputy Marshal Tyszka's words referring to the European Coalition as dinosaurs.

- If the United Right authorities decide so, then yes, I will run for the European Parliament, but whether I will abandon the Senate or not will be decided by the voters. Anything can happen. The elections have not yet been called by the President. The elections are still over three months away. The elections will definitely happen, but the final decisions will only be made in the coming days - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki in the post-script of "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I received such an offer and I accepted it. We will have a very strong list in this district [in Mazovia] and being the leader of that list is an honour - added the Deputy Marshal of the Senate.

- These elections will be very important also from the perspective of the autumn campaign for the Sejm and Senate. We do not hide this. We must achieve a good result in these elections to have a good starting position, a pole position in the race for the Sejm and Senate, which is why politicians with strong names and significant social support will be running - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki during the encore of "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- Donald Tusk is an outstanding politician and is certainly thinking about what he will do when his mission in the European Council ends. He may not be actively involved in politics, or he may be. Poland has produced many outstanding politicians since the period of transformation, and Donald Tusk is one of them - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Radio ZET with Beata Lubecka.

- I am looking at all of this coolly; emotions are not the best advisor here - said Krzysztof Szczerski in a conversation with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM, referring to recent events on the Poland-Israel line, Krzysztof Szczerski stated in the RMF FM Morning Interview.

- This is a situation that is incomprehensible, especially in the context of the Middle East conference, where Israel should value the fact that Poland is favorably disposed towards it - he continued.

"We all know noble and good Jews and we know stupid and bad Jews. We know noble and good Poles and stupid and bad Poles. Good and noble Jews should sit down with good and noble Poles, not hand over Polish-Israeli relations to others"

Szczerski admitted that Katz's words do not foster good Polish-Israeli relations. When asked about Prime Minister Netanyahu's statement, he replied that "the Prime Minister's words were explained; I cannot question the official position of the State of Israel." - Israeli politicians have, in a completely unnecessary manner, damaged something they should understand is precious to them. If they do not understand this, it means they are acting to the detriment of their own state - he emphasized.

- We bought another piece of armament without any offset. Do you know that if a tire breaks, we'll have to repair it in the US? It's terrifying that we were supposed to buy helicopters, but we didn't, and now, after three years of PiS rule, we're saying: how good it is that we bought anything at all. If they had ruled for another decade or so, everything would have fallen apart - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in Gość Radia ZET.

- I wish Grzegorz to have eyes all around his head - stated Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM, when asked if he had any special wishes for Grzegorz Schetyna, who is celebrating his birthday today. - This is a wish related to the political style that Grzegorz Schetyna employs - he added.

- We are the first entity of the European Coalition – Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on Gość Radia ZET. - SLD was the first party to join, yesterday the Greens did. This week will be time for PO, PSL, and Nowoczesna as well. As far as I know, that's how it will be – Czarzasty said. When asked by Beata Lubecka if all participants of the European Coalition would be known by the end of the week, the SLD leader replied: "I think these first five, yes."

- At this moment, we are awaiting a firm reaction to the deplorable, unacceptable, and frankly racist words of the newly appointed Israeli Foreign Minister. This is something that certainly cannot go unanswered. From my perspective, the matter is absolutely clear, and if there is no such reaction from the other side, we will wish them the most productive of discussions, but Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will also not travel there, to that meeting in Israel. We will see soon, this will be decided in two or three hours – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with journalists on a bus.

- As announced earlier on the bus, this matter, which is currently somewhat hanging in the air today, concerning Minister Czaputowicz's trip to Israel, is now being weighed one way or the other. Through Ambassador Magierowski and his interlocutor from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I requested an appropriate reaction following the reprehensible, absolutely unacceptable racist formulation that unfortunately came from the newly appointed head of the MFA. These words were spoken, and of course, we cannot allow ourselves to accept such racist statements; moreover, we strongly emphasize that we will fight for historical truth, for the honor of Poles who fought for freedom, their lives, and the lives of all Polish citizens from the first to the last day of World War II. That is the truth about history, nothing will change it, and we will break certain racist stereotypes. I am pleased that the Prime Minister of Israel, in his telephone conversation with me yesterday, fully reiterated the declaration that we signed in June 2018 – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a briefing in Raszyn.

- What happened, those words, are an example of anti-Polonism, racist anti-Polonism. We certainly cannot agree to this, and we will react to it – added the head of the Polish government.

"The unleashing of an avalanche of mutual recriminations, including the scandalous statement that should never have been uttered by a representative of the Israeli government [about 'Poles sucking antisemitism with their mother's milk'], is a consequence of what happened in Warsaw. The [Middle East] conference took place a few dozen hours ago. A very strong, anti-Polish message regarding the negative narrative about the Holocaust was first delivered in Warsaw [by Benjamin Netanyahu]. They supposedly backed down from this, but following that, there were some bilateral talks between Prime Minister Morawiecki and Netanyahu, which led to what is happening today," said Civic Platform spokesperson Jan Grabiec in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

"Professional Polish diplomacy should lead to a situation where Poles are apologized to for these statements," he added. 

Our first stop here is the Local Road Fund. In Raszyn, Szkolna Street was built from a government program, previously in 2017, and also in 2018, Spokojna Street was built from the government's road fund, and there are continuations. There used to be a saying about what to do to adapt Polish roads to European standards. The answer was that European standards need to be changed. We are showing here that it is not necessary to change European standards, but that high-quality local, district, and municipal roads can also be built in Poland – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a briefing attended by Minister Adamczyk. In Raszyn, the head of government was greeted by a modest protest from the KOD.

"We are seeing the pathological politics of PiS very clearly. How else can we assess a situation where the leader of the largest ruling party, a man who considers himself a super-president and super-prime minister, is accused by someone giving sworn testimony of corruption, giving, receiving, and demanding a bribe? All of this shows the standards of Yanukovych's Ukraine, the standards of a country that is lawless, undemocratic, and in reality fighting democracy, the rule of law, and Western civilization. It is fighting to remain unpunished. We see this very clearly today, and I want to say clearly that we will not let this go. This cannot be treated as something we have become accustomed to" - said the Civic Platform leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, at a press conference in Wrocław.

“We have been asking questions for weeks. We have submitted a motion so that MPs can familiarize themselves with the information presented by the Prosecutor General at a closed Sejm session. I expect the Marshal to decide to inform MPs about the entire proceedings, findings, what the prosecution has done so far, and what plans it intends to undertake in the near future” - said PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna in Wrocław.

"Polish foreign policy must be mature. If someone doesn't know how to conduct it, isn't responsible for Poland's image and reputation, they shouldn't be involved in it. We have seen in recent days how Poland's image and position on the international stage can be ruined once again" - said PO leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in Wrocław.

"After Prime Minister Netanyahu's unacceptable statement, for which he should apologize, we are dealing with another signal, namely what we heard from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who once again spoke in a racist, anti-Polish manner, confirming the incident at POLIN. These things are unacceptable. We demand and expect official apologies from the Israeli government, from Prime Minister Netanyahu, and from the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Polish-Jewish relations cannot be built by talking about history in such a way as Israeli politicians have been doing recently" - he added.

I have decided to recall the Polish delegation from a meeting in Israel [V4 summit], which was previously scheduled, and therefore Minister Czaputowicz will also not go there. I made this decision because the formulations used by the head of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs are absolutely unacceptable, not only in diplomacy, but for me they are unacceptable in the public sphere – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with journalists on a bus.

The PKO Bank Polski 100th anniversary spot showcases the bank's history, from Józef Piłsudski's decree and the financing of Gdynia's construction, through the creation of Rotunda and its now-iconic logo, to online banking and the IKO application.



The history of PKO Bank Polski began on February 7, 1919, when the Chief of State Józef Piłsudski, Prime Minister Ignacy Paderewski, and the Minister of Posts and Telegraphs Hubert Linde signed a decree establishing the Postal Savings Bank (Pocztowa Kasa Oszczędności). From that moment on, everyone, even minors, could save money at the bank. Starting from scratch in 1919, by 1938, the Bank was already the largest depository of our society's savings in Poland.

Within its first 20 years of existence, the Postal Savings Bank became the largest savings institution in Poland, and the abbreviation PKO – a symbol of saving. The originator of the Postal Savings Bank was Hubert Ignacy Linde. Even during World War I, he developed a project for the organization of the Polish postal service and its associated savings bank, presenting it to the Regency Council in Warsaw, which held supreme authority in the Kingdom of Poland. On November 4, 1918, Hubert Linde approached the head of the department of the Polish Liquidation Commission in Krakow (a substitute for the Polish provisional government) and presented him with a project for the organization of the Polish Check Bank, which was intended to take over the functions of the Austrian Postsparkasse. Subsequently, after a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Polish government, Jędrzej Moraczewski, Linde was tasked with establishing the Postal Savings Bank, subordinate to the Ministry of Posts and Telegraphs. On December 8, 1918, Hubert Linde presented the PKO organizational project to the Prime Minister, and on December 28, he was appointed Director of PKO and Minister of Posts and Telegraphs. Thus, he was simultaneously his own superior and subordinate, a situation intended to facilitate the efficient building of the new financial institution.

I have to say that I agree with the opposition, now that I look back, when they predicted a widespread collapse in 2015. Because unemployment is indeed falling, social security contributions paid by small businesses are falling, corporate income tax is falling, meaning what should be growing, the economy, jobs, is growing, and what should be falling, is falling - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a briefing in Białobrzegi. Another point on the Polish head of government's route concerned the Small ZUS program. PM Morawiecki met with two entrepreneurs who told him about their businesses - the Small ZUS program had been a help for them in launching their companies.

We want to present the scope of the Accessibility Plus program implementation. This program is somewhat like a general renovation in Poland. A renovation even literally, of various types of public utility buildings, administration, schools, offices. After all, one must be able to access each of these buildings, to facilitate access for mothers with children, people using wheelchairs or other people with disabilities, the blind, the visually impaired who have disabilities. Poland must be accessible, Poland must be accessible to everyone. This is the fundamental motto of our action – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a visit to the Community Support Center in Jedlińsk.

- Once again, special services in Poland have been used for private purposes. On Friday, we received a pre-litigation summons from the head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA). The head of the CBA feels offended that we are saying the CBA is not fulfilling its statutory duties, that it is not dealing with the Srebrna affair, the Kaczyński tapes affair, an affair in the background of which is corruption. Ernest Bejda, not as a private individual, but as the head of the CBA, has decided to threaten MPs with lawsuits. He decided to say that either we stop talking about this matter, or we will be harassed by the state ruled by PiS, because that's what it really boils down to. This is not the first time that services subordinate to PiS have tried to silence opposition MPs, as well as independent media, in this matter. It is clear that the great affair, the Kaczyński tapes affair, is a very, very big problem for PiS, given that people appointed by PiS, PiS officials, resort to such dramatic measures to silence us - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a briefing in the Sejm.

“The decision [to cancel the V4 summit] was made by the Visegrad Group, by Prime Minister Pellegrini. I don't think he was aware of the talks in Warsaw, of the results of those talks,” Minister Jacek Czaputowicz told journalists in Brussels.  

“Regarding the summit and the meeting of the Visegrad Group in Jerusalem, we are directing our questions to Slovakia, because it is that country that speaks on behalf of the entire V4,” he added.

“ There is an expectation that the Israeli side will address this situation, although we consider these statements unacceptable. I expressed this in a brief online statement. We believe they fuel anti-Polonism, antisemitism, are racist in nature, and do not serve reconciliation or Polish-Israeli relations in a broader perspective. We expect the Israeli side to withdraw these words” – Minister Jacek Czaputowicz told journalists in Brussels. 

"The threat to Poland's security is not Germany, it's not Russia, it's not Middle Eastern countries. The biggest threat to Poland's security is the foreign policy of the Polish government, Polish diplomacy. It is sad that we have to state this. We see no positive effects of diplomatic actions. It started with us falling out with the European Union, now the Middle East conference" - said the leader of the Peasants' Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, at a press conference in the Sejm. "Mr. President, today is not the time to talk about lending out a small castle in Wisła, but rather a moment to convene the National Security Council. There are so many problems, unresolved situations, economic losses, diplomatic errors, that it's a shame to talk about it. We expect information from the government, but a serious discussion at the National Security Council, which has not been held since 2016" - he added.

Around 3:00 PM, the bus carrying Prime Minister Morawiecki, en route to his next scheduled stop, pulled over at an Orlen station where the head of government purchased a coffee.

When asked by journalists if his day's route marked the start of a campaign, PMM responded that it wasn't the beginning, but he hoped there would be more visits to the country.

“The reason for his decision was the entry into force of changes to the Supreme Court Regulations introduced by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Poland of February 11, 2019, which ‘will inevitably lead to the profound destruction of the work of the Criminal Chamber, chaos, and the accumulation of backlogs’,” stated Supreme Court spokesperson Michał Laskowski in a statement.

“President Stanisław Zabłocki further emphasized that respecting the introduced regulations means the necessity of setting session dates for individuals whose status has been subject to clarification through legal proceedings, including before the Court of Justice of the European Union. Not wishing to act against his conscience, he concluded that in this situation, he should retire,” Laskowski’s statement continued.

“I decided that I could not act otherwise. One cannot buy an additional few – a dozen or so months of what one loves at the price of betraying oneself. One cannot pretend that something that was black, without any new circumstances arising, has become white, or even grey. I held my position until the last moment, where, without violating the law, I simultaneously avoided conflict with my own conscience. A few months ago, I even managed to find a ‘third way’. This time, the idea was not enough. All the rest, my Friends and Acquaintances, as well as my enemies and strangers, will find in the brief letter that I submitted – in accordance with the law – to the First President of the Supreme Court. I can only add that it is incredibly difficult for me. The court was – alongside my family – my entire life,” wrote Stanisław Zabłocki, president of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, on his Facebook profile.

The Chief Rabbi of Poland and the head of the Union of Jewish Communities in Poland have issued a statement.

"My election slogan was 'Warsaw for everyone.' I took and still take my words very seriously. Warsaw must be a friendly, tolerant, and open city. That is why today we are signing the LGBT Charter. I discussed this with communities that defend equality and the rights of the LGBT community in Warsaw during the election campaign. We all have the right to equality. This is a right guaranteed by the constitution. In recent years, we have seen increasing intolerance in Poland, more and more incidents that cause serious concern" – said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during the signing of the LGBT Charter.

"Tolerance has always been part of Warsaw's spirit, and signing today's document is an expression of how very, very seriously I take this heritage and these words" – he added.

“We had the opportunity to see how the CIT tax reduction works in practice” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Żagań – “This is exactly what we aim for, so that small and medium-sized Polish companies develop beautifully. I believe in Polish entrepreneurs. It often happened before that Polish companies, which could afford to hire lawyers, circumvented our regulations. Instead of paying 19%, they paid less, and the smaller ones could not afford investments because they paid honestly. Now we have put this upside-down order of things back on its feet”.

“I am very happy that we managed to achieve what we did, that through victories achieved together with the Ministry of Finance, we finally have a budget that is in very good condition, is balanced, and public finances are consolidated. Isn't this what economists have been demanding for 10-15 years? The PiS government has achieved this. At the same time, we are continuing our development, family, and social programs” – he added.

Even if the head of government denies it, today's tour across the country – showcasing the effectiveness of Morawiecki's "Five" – is in practice the beginning of an electoral cycle. Meetings with large families and Polish companies, or a stop at Orlen – these are all classic campaign maneuvers, known from previous elections. This is also a prelude to the party's Saturday convention, where program proposals are expected to be presented.

Our sources from the government circles emphasize that the goal is to demonstrate the credibility of Morawiecki's team – something that was announced a little over a year ago and has been successfully implemented for some time. Indeed, the school starter packs were introduced, and a lower CIT for small taxpayers. Moreover, most of the previous commitments – led by 500+ or the lowering of the retirement age – have been fulfilled. The tax-free amount has been partially raised, and in the case of Swiss franc loan holders, a parliamentary committee is resuming its work this week.

In this sense, today's tour was a classic, well-organized event. The head of the Polish government also spoke with journalists on a bus – in the context of the V4 summit – but these were very brief statements, practically without questions as well.

Of course, such control of the narrative minimizes the risk of even one imprecise statement that could overshadow the entire trip. However, it is difficult to speak of a complete success for today's tour, given that the topic of the day is the recurring tension on the Israel-Poland line, and journalists are primarily interested in the Visegrad Group summit in Israel, not the degree of implementation of Morawiecki's "Five." Well, maybe except for public television. Today, tomorrow, and possibly for several more days, the main headlines will not be PiS's program proposals, but the clash with Israel.

The number of unfavorable topics for the ruling party might give the impression of a political low point, but – as we have already written on 300POLITYKA – Jarosław Kaczyński's party is entering the electoral cycle in a moderately good position. It's just that 2019 is not 2015; after four years of PiS rule, it naturally has to face inconvenient topics that, to a greater or lesser extent, overshadow the "positive" narrative.

It is also worth noting that the Prime Minister – unlike PiS's frequent practice – does not disappear during crises.
