- I would like to say very loudly and clearly that what has happened, this nomination, is a complete intellectual and moral disgrace, but not of Mr. Andruszkiewicz, but of Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki. As far as I know, this is the Prime Minister's personal decision - said Stanisław Tyszka in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

- If Jarosław Kaczyński still controls his party, then I think it would be good for him to also speak out that such nominations are occurring. This is truly unserious, it is offensive to the citizens - Tyszka added.

- I am not only an optimist, but I am also convinced that the budget act will be adopted. We are dealing with a situation that is quite typical in Polish politics, where some unconfirmed, not to say fabricated, information is later replicated by various commentators, media, and publicists. We have repeatedly refuted this information - said Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Daniel Wydrych and Piotr Gócek on "Sygnały Dnia" on Jedynka radio.

- The Prime Minister [on January 2, 2020] is Jarosław Kaczyński, but he formed a coalition government with PiS + scraped-together remnants, because he himself did not have a parliamentary majority. I don't know, of course, if taking Andruszkiewicz is enough to somehow draw Młodzież Wszechpolska into the government's orbit. Perhaps simply a Member of Parliament in the Sejm was also needed. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced on Tuesday that the bill on combating domestic violence will be sent back to its authors. The reason for this decision are "questionable provisions" included in the draft law. The head of government announced this on Twitter.

"I have made a decision that the draft bill on countering domestic violence will be returned to its proponents for the elimination of all questionable provisions," wrote Mateusz Morawiecki.

The bill, which was voted on by the Sejm on Friday, aims to strengthen the fight against domestic violence. The new regulations would allow for, among other things, the immediate removal of an aggressor from the premises if there is a risk of immediate danger to a victim of domestic violence. Furthermore, a ban on approaching the victim and entering a specified area would be imposed on the perpetrator.

The bill was criticized by some circles, which feared that the new law could lead to abuses and the violation of the rights of individuals accused of violence. Concerns were raised, for example, by the possibility of removing a person from their home without a court ruling, based solely on the officer's assessment.

Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, commented on the tweet by the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki regarding the European Union's budget.
