Today also, the National Council of SLD will convene. - We will adopt a resolution calling for a convention that will decide the formula under which the Alliance will contest the European Parliament elections - the party announced via social media. A conference after the council meeting will be held at 2:30 PM.

- PiS conventions have always been good shows, and this time will be no different. As you can see, the stage and visualization are something new and will stand out against previous events and the initiatives of the competition – says one of the organizers of today's PiS convention, which starts at 11:00 AM, in an interview with 300POLITYKA. Speakers are expected to include Mateusz Morawiecki, Jarosław Kaczyński, Zbigniew Ziobro, and Jarosław Gowin.

- The deception mechanism employed by Civic Platform within the Civic Coalition, as was the case in Warsaw, means that Modern Poland is also part of this camp of deceivers, who lie, who fail to fulfill their electoral promises, who are looking for money, in this instance, from the pockets of Warsaw residents - stated Mariusz Błaszczak on Krzysztof Ziemiec's program on RMF FM.

– We want to address the so-called program proposals of Grzegorz Schetyna. There weren't many, but there was a little bit. Today, Mr. Rzońca is to present their details. Let's assume that at first glance it's evident they don't add up budget-wise, that there are no funds for them, no proposal on where to get these funds. Platforma, in general, with its various proposals, has no money and won't have any, as we all know, but above all, Platforma is absolutely unbelievable here. What they are saying now, the lies they are telling Poles, is of no consequence. We observe Platforma's true program when Platforma is in power. When they were in power, when they raised the retirement age, took Poles' savings from OFE, when they raised taxes – that was the true program of Platforma, not the one falsely proclaimed. We see a continuation of this. In Warsaw, Łódź, Bydgoszcz, in all cities where Platforma governs – stated Marcin Horała at a briefing in the Sejm.

„Yesterday, during the debate on the motion of no confidence in Mateusz Morawiecki, Chairman Grzegorz Schetyna announced the presentation of the "Higher Wages" program, which is intended to break the glass ceiling of low earnings in Poland. The problem for Poles is low wages, which do not allow them to fully enjoy the fruits of growth. Since Prime Minister Morawiecki has repeatedly spoken in recent years about breaking Poles out of the middle-income trap, the effects are not actually visible. We have decided to help the government in achieving this one task, namely to increase Poles' salaries and limit the effects of inflation, which is rampant in Poland due to this government's actions” - said Sławomir Neumann, head of the Civic Platform club, at a press conference.

„The "Higher Wages" program consists of two pillars, two elements, that will allow for an increase in the wages of all Poles. The first pillar is a reduction in fees and taxes, so that it is not like today – a 50% burden, which Prime Minister Morawiecki boasts about – we want to reduce this from 50% to 35%. The second pillar is support for working people, because work pays off. This is to be a program that gives all those who work higher incomes than using the social welfare system. It is intended to activate people in the labor market” - he added.

- It fell to me to open today's meeting, the aim of which is to reflect on the starting point from which we begin this final stage leading to the European elections, and subsequently, the most important parliamentary ones. Simultaneously, the goal is to indicate the directions we will be taking. Not the programs; the programs will be presented very soon, but not today. However, we must know the direction we need to march in, so that this march is in line with everything Poles expect, what will satisfy their needs and dreams. Our party must become, and to some extent already is, the party of Poles' dreams. If we start from this point of departure, we can say with considerable satisfaction: PiS has proven over these three years, as well as in the years 2005-2007, that it can govern honestly, be credible, and do everything that was announced - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention.

- They are not credible. They don't keep their word. Above all, they tolerate evil, even evil on a grand scale. This truth must also be conveyed to Polish society. If it reaches society, there is no doubt that the path we have chosen, the path of building a strong, happy, just Poland, a Poland that counts in Europe, will be continued – stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention.

- This outreach is a huge undertaking. Because we will not radically change the situation in the media. We must do it as we did between 2007-2015, and especially 2011-2015. Through a grand offensive, a tremendous effort from the entire party, precisely in reaching Poles, every Pole, every citizen. This is our grand, enormous, very difficult, but achievable task – stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention.

- This is a preview of that determination. Determination that we must show from the beginning of 2019. What we should take away from this meeting is the awareness of our special mission, the directions that the Prime Minister, Madam Prime Minister, leaders of allied parties will speak about, and the conviction that victory is within reach, but that hand must be extended. It must be a strong hand, a very strong hand. It must be a very great effort. And I wish this to all of us. May this day be a preview of new great victories, not for PiS, but for Poland's victories - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS convention.

- We are the heart of Europe, we are the beating heart of Europe. Today, we inspire Europe. Our successes, what we have shown through our effectiveness, our courage, determination, honesty, and credibility, today inspires Europe - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention.

"We are working on a program that consists of 3 pillars. The most important is credibility. We have this credibility confirmed by tens, hundreds of different promises, proposals kept faster than anyone thought. For example, compared to one of our conventions in April. We talked about 5 new proposals: Accessibility+, lower CIT, small ZUS, local government road fund, social program for mothers, and all these proposals are implemented or in the process of implementation. „At the same time, who would have thought that our opponents could have such audacity, to still be promising in October, to join our changes, the conversion of perpetual usufruct into ownership. We want to enact genuine empowerment. Don't hinder us! And less than two months later, on the anniversary of martial law, they broke that promise. - Once again, we extend our hand to our political opponents. We invite you to cooperate, to a cooperation that will be for the good of Poland. We can disagree. Let it be a dispute over programs, not an emotional dispute, an accusation of falsehoods, or lying. Simply put, we invite you to cooperate for the good of Poland - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention.

- These three pillars, on which we want to base Poland's development for the next 5, 10, 15 years, around which we will soon present very concrete program points. Europe, higher wages, remuneration, and modernization of Poland. This is a program for ambitious Poles who aspire to this European identity as we define it. Higher remuneration, infrastructure at a similar level to that in the western part of the EU, and development opportunities, primarily for the largest possible group of Poles, at the same level as the large, well-established middle class in Western Europe. This is our program, our program that we will present to the entire nation in January-February - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention.

„We have built the foundation. This foundation consists of 4 pillars. These are ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Polish institutions in many areas. The world of finance provides the best examples. This is historical justice. Tomorrow I am going to the Wujek mine for the commemoration of a tragic anniversary, where our heroes fought for freedom and died for freedom. At the same time, our political competitors are restoring communist street names. And the street of the Heroes of the Wujek Mine is also to be changed. This is a policy we disagree with. Honesty towards the past, the defense of our heroes' honor must continue. PiS guarantees an honest historical policy, as we have done so far” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention.

„The third pillar – elementary social justice, which was so sorely lacking for 25 years. Solidarity in its full meaning, and the fourth – a certain manageability of our interests, or the restoration of manageability to foreign policy, caring for our interests abroad” – he added.

- The most important thing is that through our program, a democratic, law-abiding program, because rule of law is when the interests of the entire society are taken care of, not when lobbyists write VAT laws. This is true rule of law, and Zbyszek will also talk about it - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention.

- We must strive for even more, to be able to continue these reforms, so that no one undermines them. This will only succeed when there is full mobilization, full activity. Of all activists, supporters, many, many Poles, and that is what I wanted to ask for. This is a game about whether Poland will be like that Sienkiewiczian red cloth, torn by various interest groups, or whether it will be united, whether it will be a Poland for everyone, whether it will be a state where everyone gets rich fairly, where the fight for higher wages is effective, because it is backed by credibility and honesty - said Mateusz Morawiecki during the PiS convention.

"Look, Europe, how beautifully one can live. Look, Europe, how wonderfully one can develop. We want, Europe, for you to draw good models from us, just as we draw from you. We are Poles. We love our Homeland. We are proud that we are Europeans. Poland was, is, and will be in Europe. No one and nothing will change that. Not even those Polish politicians who, constantly lying, shout about some Polexit. It's time for them to understand that Poland is, was, and will be in Europe" - said Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło at the PiS convention.

- Poles chose people, and most importantly, they chose a program that provided the opportunity to benefit from these freedoms and build a good future for all of us. Poles decided that it is time to remove from power those who do not understand that Poland is a common cause, that one must pay attention to everyone, even those who perhaps are not on the front pages of newspapers at the moment, and above all, that the weaker must be helped, that opportunities must be equalized, that citizens' problems must be recognized. This requires people who not only understand this, not only have a plan and a program, but are honest and keep their word. Yes, because keeping one's word is the hallmark of Law and Justice, of the United Right government - said Beata Szydło during the PiS convention.

- The pinnacle of dreams was graduating, finding a better job than our parents, or going abroad. Back then, it was practically impossible. That's why the generation entering adulthood today and building Poland's future, their dreams are space conquest. Let them do it – said Beata Szydło during the PiS convention.

- We are facing another challenge, which is raising the level of earnings, the wealth of Poles, the modernization of the state, and the modernization of our economy. Standing on the threshold of this stage, we must ask Poles what their expectations are, what they expect, and what they clearly do not want - stated Jarosław Gowin during the PiS convention.

- Poles do not want conflicts, no revolutions. Neither moral nor political. Poles want a stable, effective state that guarantees security, the rule of law, and enables stable development - he added, citing research.

- Now is the time to turn towards the middle class, towards these millions of entrepreneurs, teachers, scientists, officials, and students. I will say this: without the support of the middle class, one can win elections, we have shown this recently. But in the middle class, in the residents of large and medium-sized cities, a huge capital is concentrated – intellectual, entrepreneurial, social – and we want to develop along with the residents of large and medium-sized cities - stated Jarosław Gowin during the PiS convention.

- On behalf of Porozumienie, we will present the Energia+ program in Krakow. What will it involve? In cooperation with universities, we will launch mass construction of renewable energy sources for small and medium-sized enterprises and households. Primarily for five million single-family homes. Five million, that's the scale - said Jarosław Gowin during the PiS convention.

"The changes [in the judiciary] are meeting great resistance because we want to return the judiciary to the people, to make the courts serve the purpose for which they were established, to serve Poles. The question arises, why do they fear us so much? Why do they fear our determination? Why does it hurt them that we are consistent? Precisely because we are effective, we can implement our intentions," said Minister Zbigniew Ziobro during a PiS convention.

- It hurts them that we are effective. That we have effectively lowered unemployment to a record low, that we are effectively implementing an economic program that guarantees the development of our country. There are excellent economic indicators, all of this terrifies them. Just like our consistency when it comes to fighting pathologies - said Zbigniew Ziobro during the PiS convention.

• This is an important council meeting because it confirmed decisions made unanimously in the recent period. We established that the line of not cooperating at any level with PiS is continued and will be. We established that no member of SLD has the right to run on any other party lists. On internal matters, we established that such a situation will not happen in the future where an SLD member says anything negative about their party in the media – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a briefing following the SLD National Council session.
• The National Council unanimously authorized the party board and the chairman to undertake talks regarding a potential coalition for the EP elections. We can always run on our own, but we believe we should form a coalition. Firstly, with the left, but also in parallel with all democratic forces, which I include among them as PSL, Nowoczesna, and Platforma – added the SLD leader.
• We will make a final decision in the first quarter of next year at a convention – he continued. – The convention has been convened, and its date will be determined by the board – added Czarzasty.

- Poland was, is, and will remain in Europe. PiS politicians have always emphasized this, and we continue to do so. However, one thing is very important. We want to be treated as a subject in this Europe, because we also want to treat our partners as subjects. I think we were patted on the back and praised much more often, but we certainly did not achieve our national goals as is happening now - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
