Sasin:

A Large Part of Mainstream Media Acts as the Opposition's Propaganda Mouthpieces, Enabling Absurd Claims

- The opposition lies from morning till night. They are the ones with their propaganda mouthpieces that they actually use. Because if we look at a significant part, a large part of the mainstream media, they don't act like media that present both sides' arguments in a balanced way, but rather as the opposition's propaganda mouthpieces. This gives the opposition the ability to formulate completely absurd, far-fetched theses – said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Stanisław Janecki on Polskie Radio 24's "24 pytania" program.

08:08

Sasin on the pre-vote debate on the no-confidence motion: Today we await this response, and I think it will provoke a retort that will darken Grzegorz Schetyna's eyes

Grzegorz Schetyna should fear that after what he heard two days ago from Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and I am surprised he still wants more, still demands to receive more, because PO (Civic Platform) received a terrible thrashing through the reminder of facts and figures. Today we await this response, and I think this response will provoke a retort that will darken Grzegorz Schetyna's eyes – said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Stanisław Janecki on Polskie Radio 24's "24 pytania".

Karczewski on Vote of Confidence: PM traveled to Brussels with an even stronger mandate
- This is nothing new [the request for a vote of confidence for the government], because previous heads of government have used this type of measure - both Leszek Miller and Donald Tusk. It's completely natural. It's very good that this happened - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. - It's good for the opposition to look at fragments of this from time to time, to read it or its summaries. The Prime Minister was traveling to Brussels. He went with an even stronger mandate, with a strong mandate and greater certainty that he can represent Poland and that he has support. This was needed - continued the Marshal of the Senate.

08:13

Karczewski:

We Made a Good Move. It Was CHECKMATE-usz
We made this good move [with the vote of confidence application], it was a bit of a chess move in this game. I think it was CHECKMATE-usz – stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

Szczerski on US Troop Increase in Poland: 'No One Told Me President Duda Had a Bad Idea'

“I spoke with representatives of both parties, with experts, with the administration, and no one told me that President Duda had a bad idea. I heard the opposite, that it is a necessity, a need, but also a mutual interest. We do not want a unilateral decision from the American side. We want to make a joint decision that will be important for Poland, the USA, the entire region, and NATO. Today, we are discussing what will be best” - said presidential minister Krzysztof Szczerski on Radio Jedynka.

08:17

Karczewski:

At the PiS Convention, We Will Present Certain Solutions
Certain proposals will also be made by the Prime Minister [at Saturday's PiS convention]. We are showing that we are a credible party, that we had a program. We will talk about our program, which we have implemented, and we will talk about, and present certain solutions, certainly not all of them yet – stated Stanisław Karczewski in a conversation with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:17

Szczerski:

I Wish Timmermans Defeat

Mr. Timmermans, as the socialists' candidate, is a rival to, for example, the ruling party in Poland in these elections, so I wish him defeat. I do not want a socialist to be the head of the European Commission” – said presidential minister Krzysztof Szczerski on Radio Jedynka.

Karczewski on Super Express: I Used to Say It's a Tabloid. Now I Can Say It's a Rag

- I didn't order any portrait. Of course, I didn't order it - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. He added:

"Today it's on the front page of "Super Express". I used to say it's a tabloid. Now I can say it's a rag. Journalists could have called, asked. They would have had more knowledge. I didn't know the price, I found out about the price today. Employees from the Chancellery came to me. They told me that the artist who did all the previous portraits is ill and that a portrait should be made not at the end, not after my term, but a bit earlier. I said: if it's necessary... I also had a bad taste. After all, it's my first portrait made during my lifetime. I had a peculiar bad taste. I didn't even want to look at the portrait. They asked if it was nice or ugly. Today, for the first time, I see this portrait in "Super Express". It's a ridiculous topic. Let's move on."

08:29

Karczewski on Abortion Law Amendments: We are Calmly Awaiting the Constitutional Tribunal's Verdict

- This was not a resolution. We simply said not to do anything further in this regard. We are calmly awaiting the Constitutional Tribunal's verdict - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM, when asked about the amendment to the abortion law.

08:32

Emilewicz:

Our Goal is for the Average Pole Not to Feel the Electricity Price Hike on Their Bill, and This Will Happen

To shorten the Prime Minister's statement, our goal is for the average Pole not to feel the electricity price hike on their bill, and this will happen. An increase in prices is always something that does not favor those at the helm of power – Jadwiga Emilewicz said in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

08:32

Karczewski on Bierecki's Words: I Don't Endorse That
[Senator Bierecki] is a truly excellent professional - stated Stanisław Karczewski in a conversation with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. He added:
"I said I don't endorse that [referring to words about beating Wojciech Kwaśniak]. We are not ideals, walking angels. Someone might say something I don't endorse. Sometimes I say something someone else doesn't endorse. He shouldn't have said it."

08:40

Emilewicz to the Opposition Before the No-Confidence Vote Debate: I Wish You Luck. The PM Will Certainly Handle All Doubts the Opposition Wants to Present Perfectly Today

- The opposition announces they will give you a hard time - Beata Lubecka noted, commenting on the debate before the no-confidence vote, in a conversation with Jadwiga Emilewicz on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

- I would say, I wish you luck. The Prime Minister will certainly handle all the doubts the opposition wants to present perfectly today - Emilewicz replied.

08:46

Emilewicz on Opposition's Rising Poll Numbers: 'Well Finally, After Three Years. The Opposition is So Slow'

- Well finally, after three years. Well ladies and gentlemen, the opposition is so slow. They're catching up, I'd say they've sped up their march a bit, but it's after three years, which is also a normal thing. If we analyze the polls, every tendency, a slight dip happens to every government after three years - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

Biedroń on no-confidence motions: Politicians are preoccupied with themselves, not real problems
We know full well that nothing will change and a no-confidence motion is merely an attempt to instigate further conflict, just like the vote of confidence for the Prime Minister. It changes nothing. Politicians are preoccupied with themselves, not real problems. This is not the kind of politics I would practice or that interests me - stated Robert Biedroń in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Polityczne Graffiti" (Political Graffiti).

09:02

Biedroń:

One of the first decisions a future government will have to make is to move away from coal

09:03

Biedroń:

I Don't Need to Poach SLD Activists, Because I Support Them

- I don't need to poach SLD activists, because I support them – stated Robert Biedroń in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Polityczne Graffiti". He added:

"Krzysztof Gawkowski must build 380 district structures by February 3rd, and that is his task. I know how to build a political movement, because I went through Twój Ruch and observed Nowoczesna, which I voted for. [I didn't vote for Zjednoczona Lewica back then] because I didn't feel its authenticity. Voters feel that."

10:23

K. Morawiecki: I fear not everyone in government is playing on the same team. There is a certain conflict with Ziobro.

"I fear that not [everyone in government is playing on the same team], that there is a significant divergence. This is also a weakness of the Prime Minister and the government. I think these conflicts are somewhat visible to society. I am not on the inside and I do not see these internal conflicts, but this entire period of the Prime Minister's one-year government has been fraught with difficulties, even the matter of the arrest of former KNF heads. This is somewhat irresponsible action. There is a certain conflict [with Zbigniew Ziobro] regarding the manner of proceeding with judicial reform" - said Kornel Morawiecki in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

10:23

K. Morawiecki: I believe that a significant part of the narrative surrounding the Azov Sea aggression is anti-Russian propaganda that harms us

I absolutely believe that a significant part of [the narrative concerning the Azov Sea aggression] is anti-Russian propaganda that harms us. The lack of an Eastern policy is my fundamental accusation. It is known that it concerns Crimea. We are not paying attention to this, we completely ignore the fact that the population of Crimea is Russian-speaking, over 80% are Russians” - said Kornel Morawiecki in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

11:17

Rabiej:

We Cannot Speak of Deceiving Voters. We Must Realistically Assess the City Budget and Make Bold Decisions
We cannot speak of deceiving voters. We must be able to realistically assess the city budget and make bold decisions, even if they are unpopular. The councillors made a decision on a pre-election wave. It turned out to be not very good. I will maintain that it was not a responsible decision then. The Warsaw councillors made a decision just before the elections regarding a 98% rebate, which means 1.7 billion PLN less in the city budget – 1/8 of Warsaw's budget. And this was a decision made then without awareness of its consequences. They were unaware of what it would mean for Warsaw's budget, because they were surprised yesterday. I would give the councillors courage and say that in this difficult situation, they behaved responsibly. The situation is also dynamically changing, there will be electricity price increases. We pointed out that there would be a problem with the budget because of electricity price increases, which will affect our trams, hospitals, and we will have to pay for it - said Paweł Rabiej in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on Wirtualna Polska's "Tłit". - The presidency started off difficult, but managing a city involves making difficult and responsible decisions. Money is needed for education, for nursery support. Without 1/8 of the city's budget, it would be difficult to implement all of this - added Rabiej.

11:19

Rabiej Responds to Jaki: If He's So Smart, Let Him Finally Get the Privatization Act Passed

- If Minister Jaki is so smart, let him finally bring about the passing of the privatization act - said Paweł Rabiej in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on "Tłit" by Wirtualna Polska.

11:21

Rabiej:

Schetyna is Trustworthy. It's Hard to Resent Someone for Welcoming Individuals from Another Party When the Opportunity Arises

- Grzegorz Schetyna is trustworthy. It's hard to resent someone for welcoming individuals from another party when the opportunity arises. I would rather resent my colleagues for deciding to leave Nowoczesna - Paweł Rabiej stated in an interview with Marek Kacprzak on Wirtualna Polska's "Tłit".

12:34

Soboń:

We will ask the Mazovian Voivode to review the Warsaw City Council's resolution on discounts

The government will ask the Mazovian Voivode to examine the resolution of the Warsaw City Council concerning discounts for the capital's residents. This is what Deputy Minister of Investment and Development, Konrad Sobiń, announced on Thursday.

The deputy minister pointed out that the discount in question is a reduction in the so-called "bonification" - a one-time fee paid by the buyer when purchasing a property from the local government.

He stressed that the resolution, if implemented, would be unfavorable for the city's budget. "This is a matter of public money, and we must ensure that it is spent legally and efficiently," Soboń said.

He added that the Ministry of Investment and Development, along with the Ministry of Interior and Administration, will analyze the legal basis for the resolution and its potential impact on the city's finances.

This is according to the preliminary schedule that 300POLITYKA has seen. Originally, the vote was planned for this week, but this item was removed after changes to the schedule.

PSL-UED Urges Support for Draft Law Making Good Friday and Christmas Eve Free Days. Kosiniak-Kamysz: Let's Not Pretend These Are the Busiest Workdays of the Year

We don't know what the work productivity is like on Christmas Eve. We know it's certainly much lower than on any other day of the year. We have no doubt that in many workplaces, even if someone is present and clocks in, gives their signature, the question of efficiency on that day is entirely justified. Let's not pretend it's the most intense day of the year” - said the leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL) Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in the Sejm.

I think there's no need to discuss this matter with the Law and Justice (PiS) party at all, because it seems natural that a party referring to tradition and Christian values would want the day of preparation for Christmas or Easter to be free, even for Christian reasons. And they even call themselves a pro-worker party, so two premises converge for us” - he added.

Sejm Approves Draft Bill on Pension and Disability Benefit Indexation

In a block of votes, MPs adopted the government's draft bill on the indexation of pensions and disability benefits. The bill introduces a one-time modification to the currently binding indexation rules, which will involve increasing the lowest benefits accordingly to:

a) PLN 1100 for the lowest old-age pension, disability pension for total incapacity to work, survivor's pension, and social pension.
b) PLN 825 for the lowest disability pension for partial incapacity to work.

The bill also stipulates the application of the statutory indexation rate, while ensuring a minimum guaranteed benefit increase of PLN 70.

Patryk Jaki on Warsaw's Rebates: I Can't Recall Such an Outright Political Lie. What's Happening in Warsaw Today Will Happen Across Poland if Civic Platform Wins

“What is happening today [in Warsaw] is the fulfillment of what I said during the election campaign. I said that Rafał Trzaskowski is a politician who will focus his work on foreign trips and investing in ideology, because that’s what he was known for in the elections. On Rafał Trzaskowski’s [FB] profile, you will see his foreign trips, taking money away from the promises he made for ideology, for the tram of diversity. Didn’t Patryk Jaki say this?” - asked Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki at a press conference.

“It is with great regret that I say we were right during the election campaign when we presented Rafał Trzaskowski as a candidate of ideology. It pains me to see how the development of Warsaw will be pushed aside, and ideological projects and foreign trips will become the most important,” he added.

“Just as it is in Warsaw today, it will be exactly the same across Poland if Civic Platform wins. A few days after the elections, there will be a swift withdrawal from all promises, and then it will turn out that - just like Rafał Trzaskowski - we had everything calculated, but the conditions changed, and we have to abandon this program,” Jaki said.

“I cannot recall such an outright political, electoral lie. To pass a resolution a few days before the elections and say, ‘Look, Varsovians, you will have a 99% rebate,’ and then to withdraw from it almost two weeks after the inauguration and call your program unrealistic – I don’t recall another such situation, such brazen arrogance,” he added.

Mucha:

We Disagree with How Kwaśniak Was Treated. As Eight MPs, We Are Ready to Provide Personal Guarantees for Those Detained on December 6th.
Today we are facing a situation where, in a truly Putin-esque style, the Law and Justice government is attempting to transform the KNF scandal slogan into a slogan returning to the SKOKs case and a slogan returning to the case of Mr. Jakubiak, Mr. Kwaśniak, and their associates who were detained on December 6th. Therefore, we have decided to issue a joint statement. In this statement, we say that we do not agree with and are extremely outraged by the way Mr. Kwaśniak was treated - Joanna Mucha stated in the Sejm.

As eight MPs, we are signing a statement saying that if personal guarantees are needed from us, we are ready to provide such guarantees to the individuals who were detained on December 6th. Besides myself, the statement was signed by Janusz Cichoń, Izabela Leszczyna, Jarosław Urbaniak, Marcin Święcicki, Marta Golbik, Krzysztof Brejza, and Zofia Czernow - Mucha added.

17:19

PMM:

Thanks to our actions, the European Council conclusions condemn Russia's aggressive policy

“I can assure you that without the very active efforts of our diplomacy, there would be no such entries. I am among those prime ministers and presidents, especially from the eastern part of the EU, who emphasize the dangers associated with Russia’s aggressive policy, and thanks to our actions, the European Council conclusions include a condemnation of Russia’s aggressive policy,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in Brussels.

17:25

PM:

I Asked All EU Leaders for a Minute of Silence on the 37th Anniversary of Martial Law. Thank You for Your Understanding, for Commemorating This Tragic Day in Poland's History

- Yesterday, on the 37th anniversary of martial law, I asked all the other 27 leaders of the European Council for a minute of silence and explained in a few minutes what martial law was. What tragedy it led to, what a great freedom movement 'Solidarity' was, how much Poland and Europe, of course, owe to it. I thank all the leaders for their understanding, for commemorating this tragic day in Poland's history - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a press conference after the European Council summit.

17:33

PMM:

The EU Must Have Mechanisms for Border Defense and Full Sovereignty Over Whom We Admit

- We definitely emphasize that the European Union must have mechanisms for defending its external borders, full sovereignty regarding whom we can, want to admit, and whom we do not. We stand by this position and hope that we will move this issue forward by at least a small step, a tiny step, at the upcoming European-African summit in Vienna - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a press conference following the European Council summit.

17:34

PM on Brexit: Negotiations and talks proceeded in a difficult atmosphere, but we are sticking to agreements made a few weeks ago

Today the ball is on the other side of the court. The situation in the House of Commons is not easy, however, we are counting on reflection on the British side as well, that a 'no deal' situation would be unfavorable for the EU, but above all for Great Britain. These negotiations and talks proceeded in a difficult atmosphere, but we are sticking to the agreements made a few weeks ago and we will see if Prime Minister [May] manages to build an adequate majority in parliament” - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in Brussels.

18:31

Sasin on electricity price hikes: "Wherever a higher price was proposed, those contracts will be renegotiated"

- Wherever a higher price was proposed, those contracts will be renegotiated. There will be no price increases, as the Prime Minister stated very clearly. There will be no increases for individual consumers, companies, or local governments - Jacek Sasin said in a conversation with Marcin Zaborski on RMF FM's "Afternoon Conversation".

- In the coming days, we will present how this will look. The message is very clear. As I said, wherever proposals have been made or contracts have already been concluded, we will ensure that these prices revert to their previous level - Sasin added.

18:41

Sasin on Vote of No Confidence: Accusations are 'Newspaper Accusations,' a Collage of Media Reports
If anyone were to read the justification that Grzegorz Schetyna presented on behalf of Civic Platform, they would see that it provides no basis to claim this is a serious political initiative. In this justification, firstly, the accusations are 'newspaper accusations,' a collage of less and more verified media reports. There is no deeper analysis there. Secondly, the very name 'constructive vote of no confidence' anticipates a certain constructiveness of the motion. Not only in the form of presenting their candidate for prime minister, but also in presenting an alternative program. There is none of that at all – said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Marcin Zaborski on RMF FM's "Popołudniowa rozmowa" (Afternoon Conversation).

WKK on Vote of Confidence: It Was a Maneuver Like Tusk's. We Learned Tusk is Now a Role Model for PM Morawiecki.

- It was a maneuver [regarding the motion for a vote of confidence] like Donald Tusk's. We learned that Tusk is now a role model for Prime Minister Morawiecki. Until now, PiS politicians have rather thought the opposite. Perhaps this is a positive pre-holiday change - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Piotr Marciniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

19:56

WKK:

We Won't Propose a Return to 2015 Poland. Only a New, Better Poland

- We won't propose a return to 2015 Poland. Only a new Poland, a better Poland, not a return to the past - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Piotr Marciniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach". - What happened in 2015 also, in a way, ended in defeat, because we lost the elections. So, there must be a better proposal - added the leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL).

20:36

Jaki:

Before the election, Trzaskowski said there would be no increases in waste disposal or ticket prices. After the election, they will happen.

"It's always like this with Civic Platform. Before the election, Rafał Trzaskowski said there would be a 100% subsidy for furnace replacements to combat smog. After the election, he says there won't be. Before the election, he said 100 zloty for every child for extracurricular activities. After the election, only for some. Before the election, there were not supposed to be increases in waste disposal fees, after the election they may happen. There were not supposed to be increases in ticket prices, they will happen. Exactly the same as it will be in Warsaw today, it will be in Poland if PO wins the election" - said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

20:47

Jaki:

If Councilors Don't Reinstate the Promised Discount Amount, We Might Start Collecting Signatures in Warsaw for a Citizen's Resolution

If this happens [if the councilors do not reinstate the promised discount amount], then I do not rule out that we will undertake further political actions, perhaps we will start collecting signatures in Warsaw for a citizen's resolution that would reinstate that discount” – said Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on „Gość Wiadomości” on TVP Info.

21:08

Schetyna:

This Government is Terribly Afraid

- This government is terribly afraid. The President and the Prime Minister did everything they could to avoid a fair debate with us on equal terms. Tricks, evasions, cheap ploys. We've seen it. Anything to avoid talking, anything to avoid debate, but a debate there is. Do you know who fears simple words, the truth? There's only one answer: liars fear it. Only a liar will hide and equivocate. With even greater conviction, I submit the motion to dismiss the Morawiecki cabinet - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence.

Chaos Surrounding Energy Prices
Another issue is the chaos surrounding energy prices. If there will be no price increases for energy, as we heard on Wednesday, then why announce them in the first place? This needs preparation. What do you intend to do? Who is lying to the public? Prime Minister Morawiecki or Minister Tchorzewski? - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence.

Schetyna to PiS: It Turns Out You Are the Patrons of the Biggest Scandals

- Today, absolutely no one has any doubts that this arrangement was not imaginary. It truly exists. However, it was you who created it - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence.

- You tried to convince Poles with a lie that everyone except you are thieves. And it turns out that you are the patrons of the biggest scandals, precisely you - he continued.

Schetyna:

You are deceiving us by claiming you want Poland in the European Union. In reality, you are systematically implementing a creeping Polexit
"You are deceiving us by claiming you want Poland in the European Union. In reality, you are systematically implementing a creeping Polexit. Poland, for the first time in the history of the EU, has been subjected to the procedure under Article 7 of the Treaty on European Union. Today, the Court of Justice of the European Union must deal with your violations of EU treaties, and these are matters of fundamental importance. The best proof of your true intentions in this regard is Zbigniew Ziobro's challenge of EU treaties to the Constitutional Tribunal. This is very clear to everyone. Officially questioning EU treaties is questioning our membership in the European Union. And this must be said loudly" - said the Civic Platform (PO) leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, during a parliamentary debate on the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence in the government.

Schetyna to PiS: You Won't Sweep the KNF Scandal Under the Rug

- You will not sweep this [KNF] scandal under the rug. Just as you will not convince us that Mr. Chrzanowski acted alone. This scandal is not Zdzisław's plan, not even Morawiecki's plan. For your actions in this matter, Mr. Prime Minister, for the meetings at the Providence Temple, for the sluggishness of the services, the manipulation of the law, for the arrest of Wojciech Kwaśniak at six in the morning, you, along with the entire government, should resign immediately - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence.

21:21

Schetyna:

We Will Stop This Creeping Polexit

- We must make up for lost time. Instead of rebuilding, we will build anew. But one step at a time. First, we will stop this creeping Polexit - Grzegorz Schetyna said in the Sejm.

Schetyna:

Today, Poland needs a stable, secure, and united Europe that will ensure peace and help prevent another war

- Today, Poland needs a stable, secure, and united Europe that will ensure peace and help prevent another war - said Grzegorz Schetyna in the Sejm.

Schetyna:

We Will Prepare an Act of Renewal of the Republic of Poland
We will prepare a package of laws, an act of renewal of the Republic of Poland, which will repeal all anti-democratic, compromising provisions that your government has pushed through - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence. - Poles will earn more. We will take care of wage increases for employees. We will remember the police officers, nurses, and civil servants - he added.

You're Trying to Convince Us Poles That You've Rediscovered Your Love for the European Union. The President Calls It an 'Imaginary Community' and Recommends an Article Comparing the EU to the Fourth Reich

Suddenly, after three years, the EU flag no longer bothers you. You're trying to convince us, Poles, that you've fallen in love with the European Union again. The President calls it an 'imaginary community' from which little results for you, and this same president, as proof of how pro-European you are, recommends an article in which the EU is compared to the Fourth Reich. I won't even mention the EU rags, because that's below any level” - said Grzegorz Schetyna, the Civic Platform leader, during a parliamentary debate on the motion of no-confidence in the government.

We Will Rebuild the Tax System So That Taxes and Contributions, i.e., PIT, ZUS, and NFZ Contribution, Do Not Exceed 35% of Poles' Earnings Combined

- We will rebuild the tax system so that taxes and contributions, i.e., PIT, ZUS, and the NFZ contribution, do not exceed 35% of Poles' earnings combined. Secondly, everyone who works and earns less than twice the minimum wage will receive additional support. In the case of individuals earning the minimum wage, this assistance will amount to PLN 500 per month - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence.

Schetyna:

We Will Hold PiS Accountable for Every Zloty
- In addition to everything we will do for Poland, for Polish women and men, we will hold you, PiS, accountable for every zloty you have taken. For every crime, for every misdeed. None of you will get away with it, but for now, I move for the resignation of Prime Minister Morawiecki. If he had a shred of honor, he would resign immediately - stated Grzegorz Schetyna during the presentation of the motion for a constructive vote of no confidence.

Kopacz:

PiS's Recent Actions Exude Fear, Even Terror. You Realize You Have a Majority in the Sejm, But Not Among Poles Anymore.

Two days ago, Prime Minister Morawiecki began the election campaign for the ruling party in this chamber. It was no accident that he began it in parliament, where PiS MPs will obediently vote as the mother party dictates, because here you feel safe, you have a majority, you control the situation, you have your own Marshal, you are confident. In the actions of recent weeks, one can feel fear, even terror, because you are perfectly aware that you still have a majority in this chamber, but you no longer have it among Poles” – said former Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz in the Sejm.

21:37

Kopacz:

The hallmark of your government is lies, manipulation, high prices, hypocrisy, and nepotism

"The hallmark of your government is certainly not law or justice. The hallmark of your government is lies, manipulation, high prices, hypocrisy, and nepotism. Last Wednesday, from this very spot, Prime Minister Morawiecki announced to the world that he had suddenly shortened the queues to doctors. Tell that to Polish patients. They will certainly believe it," said former Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz in the Sejm.

Replacing Morawiecki's Government with that of Would-Be Prime Minister Schetyna is Like Swapping a Ferrari for a Trabant or a Scooter

- Replacing Mateusz Morawiecki's government with that of would-be Prime Minister Grzegorz Schetyna is like swapping a Ferrari for a Trabant or a scooter. No one will agree to that. Therefore, I propose that everyone continue to do what they were created for, what they are good at. Prime Minister Morawiecki with governing Poland, and would-be Prime Minister Schetyna with destroying Nowoczesna (Modern party) - said Marcin Horała in the Sejm.

21:42

Kopacz:

Poles Must Know You Lie When You Lay Keels for Non-Existent Ferries, Erect Stakes for Non-Existent Canals, and Claim You're Building a Million Electric Cars

Poles must know that you lie when you lay keels for non-existent ferries, when you erect stakes for non-existent canals, when you claim you are building a million electric cars. You said that Poles are happy under your rule. I have a heartfelt request for you. Before the holidays, take that same basket, take a banknote of the same denomination, and go to the shop where President Kaczyński did his shopping during the election campaign. See what you can put into that basket for that money. And then ask Poles how much their holidays cost” – said former Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz in the Sejm.

21:42

Kopacz:

This Government is a Giant Financial Pyramid

This government is a giant financial pyramid. PiS, with a crowd of relatives and hangers-on, will extract profits from it, while ordinary citizens will be left out in the cold” – said former Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz in the Sejm.

Kosiniak-Kamysz to Prime Minister Morawiecki: Today Poles No Longer Expect You to Tell the Truth. They Expect Silence. You Should Shut Up and Leave

Listening to Prime Minister Morawiecki on Wednesday, one could get the impression that every day you play an April Fool’s joke on yourself and the whole of Poland. You have the skills of a comedian, so perhaps you should join a comedy club. You have mastered your tricks flawlessly. You juggle lies, half-truths, and manipulation. You beautifully hurl slander at your opponents. For the past year, you have consistently stumbled over the truth, carried on, and constantly lied. Today, Poles no longer expect you to tell the truth. They expect silence. You should shut up and leave” – said the leader of the agrarian party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in the Sejm.

21:52

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

You went to the countryside, ate some cottage cheese, got dizzy, and the whole world is going crazy! You even decoded the acronym ASF for us. Nobody expected that from you.

"What's the situation in agriculture? You went to the countryside, ate some cottage cheese, got dizzy, and the whole world is going crazy! During your exposé, you even decoded the acronym ASF for us. Nobody expected that from you. And what came of it? For breeders - 1/4 of farms liquidated, 200 ASF outbreaks in pigs. What about the doubled subsidies? Where are the matters concerning compensation for hunting damages? What about compensation for drought?" said the leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL), Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in the Sejm.

21:56

Kosiniak-Kamysz to PiS: From the ashes you leave behind, Poland will be reborn like a phoenix. A new Poland. A friendly, just, and truly united Poland.

"You said that we should sprinkle ashes on our heads, that the opposition should sprinkle ashes on their heads. In matters of such evangelical messages, it is worth starting with yourself first. I recommend it. And as for ashes, it is from the ashes that you will leave behind that Poland will be reborn like a phoenix. A new Poland. A friendly, just, and truly united Poland. A new, better Poland will triumph," said the leader of the agrarian party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, in the Sejm.

No Results in the Fight Against VAT Fraudsters. The Next Parliament Will Easily Be Able to Charge You with the Same Offenses You Charged Your Predecessors With

- Next year, VAT revenues will increase by 7%. There are no results in the fight against VAT fraudsters. VAT carousel schemes continue, and VAT mafias are still rampant across the country. The next parliament will easily be able to charge you with the same offenses you charged your predecessors with — Ryszard Petru stated in the Sejm.

Mr. Prime Minister, These Were the Worst Three Years in the History of the Republic of Poland
Mr. Prime Minister, these have been the worst three years in the history of the Republic of Poland. The worst in terms of our presence in Europe, as the certainty of our membership has been undermined. The worst for our young democracy. Since the era of communism, no government has so significantly weakened the democratic rule of law - said Ryszard Petru in the Sejm.

Not just to introduce the Polish state to the EU, but in a real way to raise the living standards of Poles to the European level - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in the Sejm, during the consideration of

PM Morawiecki to the Opposition: 'Less Than Zero' - That's How Much Your Credibility is Worth
What is your credibility? The audacity of Civic Platform to break their election promises just a few weeks after the local elections – nobody expected that. Today, you have shown that your credibility is worth zero, or even less than zero. One of my favorite bands, Lady Pank, sang a song like that. 'Less Than Zero.' That's how much your credibility is worth – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in the Sejm.

The Common Denominator of All Our Actions is Credibility

- The common denominator of all our actions is credibility. We promised a lower retirement age. Did we keep it? We did. We promised 500+ for every second child and subsequent ones? We did. Similarly, we keep our word in all other actions. The Local Government Road Fund, 5-6 times larger than in your times. Did we keep our word? We did - said Mateusz Morawiecki in the Sejm.
