Matuszewski is a PiS MP, but in November, he was suspended from his membership rights in the party and the parliamentary club.

- I sympathize with Nowoczesna. Truly, I wouldn't want to be in Katarzyna Lubnauer's situation. Most of all, I sympathize with Poles who believed in Civic Coalition. This is because what has happened shows that there is no coalition at all – said Ryszard Petru in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on the program „Gość Radia ZET”.

- Lubnauer is in shock, completely surprised. Therefore, in such a situation, I would advise a moment of breath and reflection – added Petru.

PiS has nothing to do with the KNF affair. It is one person's affair, it is one person's mistake, possibly a crime, I don't know, we will see. - I'm aiming for a double-digit result. I'm doing research. When I was forming Nowoczesna, I learned one thing. We have spoken over these three years of United Right rule, successively every few months, and you will admit that I have always said there are too many disputes in Polish politics. - It is a difficult decision, although as you recall, a year ago I voted for this law, even though I wasn't happy about it. Now it is clear why I wasn't happy. - I cancelled that meeting (with Ambassador Mosbacher - ed.), but not because of the letter. It had nothing to do with it. I didn't know such letters existed. Do you remember Bismarck's saying that citizens shouldn't be shown how sausages are made and how politics is made, so I won't show how we made politics either, but I can assure everyone that we did it effectively. The law created in the Polish parliament is exclusively in Polish hands. We ensured and will always ensure, as long as the United Right governs, that it remains free from foreign influence - Gowin added.

- Under the current legal framework, the Act on Voivodeship Self-Government does not address the issue of chairpersons of voivodeship assemblies declaring breaks in sessions. Consequently, these competencies are determined by the statutes of individual voivodeships, which allow chairpersons to make decisions regarding declaring breaks and setting their duration. Such broad powers of chairpersons can lead to the paralysis of the assembly's work, for example, in situations where a chairperson, not wanting to put a motion for their own removal, the appointment of a deputy chairperson, or the election of the voivodeship board to a vote, repeatedly declares breaks, thereby preventing the continuation of session deliberations and the election of the voivodeship self-government authorities - it was stated in the justification for the project proposed by PiS, which was submitted to the Sejm today. This most likely concerns the situation in the Podlaskie Voivodeship. - The competencies of the chairpersons of voivodeship assemblies should be further defined to prevent actions such as the failure to implement the agenda, persistent declarations of breaks to prevent the consideration of specific agenda items, or the closure of sessions despite the lack of consideration of all agenda items. Preventing such destructive practices by introducing the requirement of voivodeship assembly consent for declaring a break should be considered consistent with the public interest. Thanks to this, the adjournment of deliberations will depend on the consent of the majority, not on the unilateral decision of the chairperson - argue the initiators.

“Foreign policy, as an essential element of the government's actions, is primarily a reflection of the will of the citizens. This stems directly from the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. The primary principle of Polish foreign policy is the principle of the sovereignty of Polish society. The activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are a service to society and every citizen of the Republic of Poland” – stated Minister Jacek Czaputowicz during the summary of 3 years of PiS government. 

“We are guided by the raison d'état of Poland, which is to guarantee national independence, state sovereignty, and also to ensure the civilizational development of the state in sovereign relations on the international stage” – he added.

I am very pleased to announce a significant success for Poland at the European Union forum. This is a success achieved through the professional work of representatives of the Ministry of Justice, particularly Minister Michał Wójcik. This success is reflected in the unanimous decision adopted today within the framework of the Council of the EU on Justice and Home Affairs, where Poland's initiative to ensure that children in the EU, in conflict situations, are placed only in families that guarantee their cultural, linguistic, and national identity has been accepted. This Polish amendment has been adopted. Violation of these principles will carry responsibility before the CJEU. Poland's initiative at the EU forum, serving the interests of Polish children, is universal in nature. It does not only concern Polish children, who, as a result of this decision, will not be placed in foster families, for example, Muslim, German, or Italian ones. All EU bodies must take this decision into account and, consequently, will always have to be guided by the best interests of the child, which will be understood in such a way as to preserve the cultural, national, and linguistic identity of the child being placed in foster care” - said Minister Zbigniew Ziobro at a press briefing.

“Climate protection and air protection, primarily from dust, meaning from smog, is also our concern, every household's, every farm's, that the hand of a resident of Racibórz or any other city or town should hesitate before throwing trash into the stove, before starting to burn plastic. You know that this happens sometimes. I appeal to refrain from this, because, unfortunately, every chimney contributes to the creation of smog. Therefore, I ask you to try to use fuels that save clean air for us, so that we have less smog. I would also ask the city, district, and voivodeship authorities to appeal for this, because it needs to be repeated. Each individual also has a chance to contribute to air protection, and we need to think about the fact that very soon I too will walk out onto this street, and I will be breathing this air, my children and grandchildren will be breathing it. Let's remember that” - said President Andrzej Duda in Racibórz.

„An efficient state, efficient institutions are needed. Even the most ardent liberals admit this today. A dynamic group of entrepreneurs is needed, both private ones and those who manage state-owned entities. Solidary relations between employers and employees, based on principles of justice, are needed. An effective fight against pathology, and anti-crisis policy that can regulate business cycles as much as possible, are needed. A national currency is needed. This is a very important condition today. And, I want to strongly emphasize this, our membership in the European Union, our sovereign membership in the European Union, is also needed” - said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński in Jachranka. 

„The condition for the process we have initiated, and initiated energetically and effectively, to continue is an electoral victory. A victory for United Right: Law and Justice and our allies. This is a difficult task in any democratic country. In any democratic country, it is difficult to achieve an absolute majority for a single electoral list. This is achieved by very few nowadays” - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński in Jachranka. 

„But this goal is particularly difficult here, in Poland. Why? What is the essence of this difficulty? In Poland, there is a dispute, and a dispute is a normal thing. There is no democracy without disputes. The only difference is that in our homeland, one side of this dispute, meaning us, recognizes the rules of democracy and the rule of law, while the other side simply does not recognize these rules. Why might they not recognize them? Because they have the support of the majority of the media and because they have the support of certain foreign factors. Why can they lie, lie, and lie again, why can they break records of hypocrisy, change the meanings of words, why can they use double standards, why can they finally announce that after potentially gaining power, they will reject all rules of the rule of law, all constitutional guarantees? In Poland - according to this side - only one political camp should rule by law. If it is in opposition, if it has lost the elections, then there are no limitations on its actions, and if it were to regain power, it can secure it by any means, including those that have nothing to do with democracy and the rule of law. This is stated directly by many political representatives of this camp, as well as those who support this camp” - he added.

- Based on these testimonies [of Elżbieta Chojna-Duch], it appears that this gigantic, not just on a Polish, but on an international, global scale, scandal – it would be huge even in the USA, amounting to 60 or 70 billion dollars – this scandal, or at least much indicates this, was not a dispersed scandal, tolerated to some extent by the government. It was simply a scandal of this government. There is a question of the responsibility of the representatives of this government and its head, including responsibility in the eyes of criminal law. I repeat: this is a scandal that, if it had occurred in the world's largest market, i.e., the USA, would also be considered enormous. This sum is not much less than the 300 billion PLN that Donald Tusk acquired for Poland through hard battles and with the support of various propaganda tools, and apparently acquired. It's almost the same amount of money, only from VAT – stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a Law and Justice (PiS) club meeting in Jachranka. He added:

"In the second scandal, as we have recently learned, at least some are talking about some, at least indirect, involvement of the current President of the European Council as well. The mass media have shown or conveyed such information, tapes with recordings. I cannot resolve anything here, that is the judiciary's job, but it is also worth knowing about this, worth mentioning, because a large part of our society is still cut off from this type of information. But besides that, we have the gambling scandal, the IT scandal, the gas scandal, the privatization scandal. Other types of scandals, such as the fact that the head of the most important control institution in Poland is a person who, in fact, should have charges brought against them, and no one forced them to resign. I will recall the events of recent weeks, how quickly this gentleman, whose surname is now only presented by its first letter, despite also having a term, had to step down. This is again the difference I mentioned, but also a difference in scale."

“Various sociotechniques are being used. One of them, exceptionally dangerous and particularly intensely applied – is the attempt to bring our coalition, political formation, and our opponents down to the same level. ‘Perhaps they are bad, perhaps they committed various kinds of wrongdoings, but our side is the same.’ In short: Law and Justice and Civic Platform are the same parties. This is something we must reject with all our might, because this is perhaps the most dangerous type of sociotechnique currently being employed,” said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński in Jachranka. 

- It can be said that scandals were a very significant element of the power held by the PO-PSL coalition for 8 years. And this difference must also be known to the public. Because it's a fundamentally different, gigantic difference. We fight scandals, and if they happen, we don't underestimate them in any way, because every, even the smallest, is a scandal that needs to be reacted to. Their scale is probably not even a thousandth of the scandals I'm talking about. This also defines the fundamental difference between our political groups and the complete lack of basis for comparing them, for saying: they and you are the same. This might be the most dangerous type of discourse used against us. This equating. We fought scandals and will continue to fight scandals. We kept our word - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS club meeting in Jachranka.

- The state is not strong against the weak today, and weak against the strong. And so it will remain if we are in power - added the PiS chairman.

We have nothing to be ashamed of. We did not shoot at miners. We did not attack many, including legal demonstrations. We did not surround people, including small children. Children in strollers, without any legal basis, we held them for a long time, and this happened in Warsaw. Therefore, if anyone in Poland broke the law, broke the Constitution, it was our political opponents - said Jarosław Kaczyński in Jachranka during an away session of the PiS club.

- I know that Poles want the rule of law, that for very many Poles this matter, although often raised falsely, at the wrong address, is important. I wanted to assure you that Law and Justice, our allies, are a guarantee that this rule of law will be respected in Poland, that all reforms, including the reform of the judiciary, are precisely for that purpose - said Jarosław Kaczyński in Jachranka during an away session of the PiS club.

- We are talking. We know each other, we like each other. The situation is surprising, even shocking for all opposition parliamentarians, so we are considering various options. One must remember that I am the vice-chairman of the joint PSL-UED club and I cannot make any decisions solely on my own behalf. I need to have this discussed with my colleagues from UED, and any decisions would also have to be agreed upon with the PSL authorities - stated Jacek Protasiewicz in an interview with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz for Wyborcza.pl.

- It would be a shame for one of the opposition clubs to disappear. This weakens the strength of the parliamentary opposition in terms of verbal exchanges, debates, and material resources. Political parties, especially new, small ones, do not have a large backing, so when they can use premises, have some additional staff positions, it is beneficial for the opposition. If this is lacking, then organizational strength is weaker - he added. As he admitted, the downside is that loaning MPs might not be understood by voters.

The Civic Platform always defends its politicians, people associated with this formation, such as Marek Jakubiak, former head of the KNF, or Stanisław Gawłowski, where there is a defense in spite of obvious facts.
