At 12:00 PM, the Sejm's Social Policy and Family Committee will hold the first reading of a draft amendment to the act on limiting trade on Sundays and holidays, as well as on certain other days. The PiS proposal aims to effectively seal the system.
Also likely at 12:00 PM, the Nowoczesna club will convene. According to Onet's information, during this meeting, the issue of joining Civic Platform is to be considered. A group of MPs who believe Nowoczesna suffered a defeat in the local government elections, symbolized by Wojciech Kałuża's volte-face, is reportedly behind this proposal.
The question of removing Szłapka and Rosa from their positions, or if this idea is not accepted, expelling Piotr Misiło from the party ranks, is also to be discussed. According to Onet, if no decision is made about joining Civic Platform, between 7 and 11 MPs may leave the club.
The dismissal of the regional assembly's speaker and the appointment of a new one, along with the completion of the provincial board's composition – these items are on the agenda for the upcoming session of the Podlasie Regional Assembly, which will begin at 4:00 PM. At the previous session, the KO candidate was elected speaker of the regional assembly, and on the same day – the Marshal from the PiS camp. Now, it is very likely that the ruling party will also take over the speaker's seat.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will participate in the Cohesion Friends Summit. At 10:30 AM, a welcome for the Polish Prime Minister by Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini is scheduled, at 10:40 AM – a family photo, and at 10:45 AM – a working session. Later, at 1:00 PM, the head of the Polish government will attend a working breakfast hosted by the Slovak Prime Minister.
At 5:00 PM, President Andrzej Duda will participate in a roll call ceremony on the occasion of Cadet Day and will present promotion warrants to generals for officers of the Polish Army.

- It leaked here because it was clearly convenient for someone around the Prime Minister. It's an obvious jab at his main rival, the Minister of Justice. The fact that there's a lot of amateurism in this war between various power centers within Law and Justice is one thing. This war exists, and we see its manifestations constantly - said Michał Kamiński in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on "Poranek TOK FM".
07:52
- Let's wait for the results of the investigation. It is progressing very quickly. This recording was made several months ago. If Leszek Czarnecki had released the recording back then, decisions would likely have been made much earlier, and the prosecution would have become involved much sooner. Holding onto this recording for several months served a purpose. I suspect it served Mr. Czarnecki's interests - stated Waldemar Paruch in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

If This Information is Credible, Marek Ch. Should Not Take the Helm of the KNF
- If this information is credible, the kind I have access to through newspapers and television reports, then Marek Ch. should not take this position [head of the KNF], but we know that after the fact. I don't know [who recommended him] - stated Waldemar Paruch in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".
07:56
Paruch:
The Prime Minister Acted Immediately. Oversight Does Not Mean He Chairs the KNF
- The Prime Minister acted immediately. Oversight does not mean that the Prime Minister is the chairman of the KNF, that he is taking on his role. He cannot take on that role. It would be an interference by the executive branch in the functioning of financial supervision over banks. That is not allowed - stated Waldemar Paruch in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

The Ruling Camp Knows Well That This Problem Needs Regulation. The Dispute with the European Commission Enabled the Opposition to Build an Effective Narrative.
- The ruling camp is certainly focused on solving this problem [concerning the judiciary and relations with the EU] because it is a necessary solution. The question is how much the European Commission will engage in a proper dialogue and cease to represent the position of only one side of the internal dispute - stated Waldemar Paruch in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego". He added:
"No gestures that would prevent the reform of the judiciary will be made, because this is a general imperative. The issue of retirement age was tested too strongly, as Hungary was in a similar situation. The ruling camp retreated regarding the retirement age."

- In my opinion, Piotr Misiło's suspension was unnecessarily inflamed, as it only leads to an escalation of emotions. They have a meeting today, I think these emotions will subside, they will talk calmly, and we will continue to build the Civic Coalition together - said Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

Karczewski:
Law and Justice Has Never Been Against Our EU Membership
„We know that over 85% of Poles want [to be in the EU]. We want that too. Law and Justice has never been against our membership. We have always said that we want to be in the EU and that we want to be members of the European community, that Poland benefits from this and will continue to benefit. And Europe also benefits from Poland belonging to the EU” - said the Marshal of the Senate, Stanisław Karczewski, on Radio Jedynka.

Neumann:
A Joint PO-PSL Start in European Elections is Possible under the EPP Umbrella
- A joint start for the Civic Platform and the Polish People's Party, PO-PSL, is possible in the European elections under the European People's Party (EPP). I don't know if it will be as Civic Coalition-PSL, or PO-PSL, or as the European People's Party. We are not discussing such details, but we are talking about a joint start. We have been in the same political family for many years - said Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the "Gość Radia Zet" program.

Neumann:
The Government Cannot Win Against TVN and Free Media
- The government is incapable of winning this. On any level. It is incapable of winning against TVN and free media. They have it documented, they have lawyers. They won't win, they haven't taken over the courts in Poland yet, they won't win such a case. They can only try to intimidate someone - said Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

Kidawa-Błońska:
I asked Tusk if he could ride a horse, and he said he could
- How does Mr. Krasnodębski know that Donald Tusk cannot ride a horse? I asked Tusk if he could ride, and he said he could. Besides, each of us learned to ride a horse at university at some point. I rode horses during my sociology studies. I had a group of friends, and we rode horses. It was a very pleasant way to spend free time - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

For Today, There Is No Discussion of the President's Trip to Ukraine
„There is such a possibility [of PAD's visit to Ukraine]. In politics, such possibilities always exist, however, as of today, there is no discussion of the president's trip to Ukraine” - said the President's spokesperson, Minister Błażej Spychalski, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

Government Consulted President on EC's Complaint to CJEU, Including Draft Amendments to the Supreme Court Act
"The government consulted with the President regarding the situation surrounding the European Commission's complaint to the Court of Justice of the European Union. This is obvious. One of the elements was, of course, the draft law [amendments to the Supreme Court Act]. There is no doubt about that. Such consultations took place. The representative of Poland before the CJEU is the Polish government, and it was the government that decided these changes had to be legislative changes" - said the President's spokesperson, Minister Błażej Spychalski, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

Spychalski:
We expect our representatives worldwide to lobby for Polish entrepreneurs, and when a situation like Ambassador Mosbacher's arises, we approach it critically
“We have very good relations with Ambassador [Mosbacher], but please remember that, according to custom and international law, the level of relations for the President [Duda] is President Donald Trump on the other side. The Presidential Palace cooperates with the Ambassador. We are satisfied with this cooperation. It is a very good and substantive cooperation,” said the President's spokesman, Minister Błażej Spychalski, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.
“An ambassador in the country where they are stationed represents not only the political interests of that country but also attends to the economic interests of the country they come from. This is completely normal. We have often emphasized in public that Polish ambassadors around the world should take even greater care of the interests of Polish companies, they should sometimes lobby for these companies. We expect our representatives worldwide to engage in such lobbying for Polish enterprises, but on the other hand, when such a situation [as with Ambassador Mosbacher] arises, we approach it critically. I don't see a big problem in this,” he added.

The Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, is participating in a working session of the Cohesion Forum in Bratislava, Slovakia. The meeting, held on November 30, 2018, brought together leaders from European Union member states to discuss issues related to economic and social cohesion within the Union.
The Prime Minister's participation underscores Poland's commitment to the principles of cohesion and its active role in shaping EU policies. The forum is an important platform for dialogue and exchange of views on how to best address regional disparities and promote balanced development across the Union.
Further details about the discussions and outcomes of the working session are expected to be released following the conclusion of the forum.

"There will be no earthquakes [at the club meeting]. It won't even be a ripple like mining damage. [Ms. Misiłło was suspended] because her media reports, her attempt to sort things out her own way, destroyed the cooperation that is the Civic Coalition, which is currently our greatest value" - said the leader of Modern Party, Katarzyna Lubnauer, in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
"A democratic party acts in accordance with its statute. No action I took was contrary to the party's statute. This has been building up for Mr. Misiłło for a long time. His latest actions were the last straw" - she added.

„There is no need [to merge the PO and Nowoczesna parliamentary clubs]. Let's consider that from the perspective of us being groups with different programs, voting differently in many cases, wanting to be able to speak out, not to mention that we simply have more time if there are two clubs, not one. I don't see such a need” – stated the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, in the Sejm.

The ORLEN logo will feature on the cars and driver suits of competitors in the world's most prestigious and popular races. - The collaboration between PKN ORLEN and Williams Martini Racing opens a new chapter in the history of motorsport in Poland, as well as in building the global reach of our brand. It's worth remembering that the ORLEN Group currently has assets in five countries in Europe and North America, and our products are available in over 90 countries worldwide. While focused on building our international position, we are also seeking global communication channels. We are convinced that involvement in Formula 1 racing is one of the most effective ways to promote a brand through sports sponsorship. The fact that the Williams car will feature Robert Kubica, the only Pole in history, is also significant for us. We want to accompany him on his journey back to the top - said Daniel Obajtek, CEO of PKN ORLEN.

„We have achieved significant [CO2] emission reductions. We can stand tall among the states party to the convention because we align perfectly with the implementation of the sustainable development model. The Polish economy is continuously developing. Our GDP is growing. Our GDP has been consistently increasing over the last 30 years, and at the same time, we are continuously limiting emissions. One could say that in some sense, this is an ideal model. And this is what we are also striving for through the resolutions of successive climate conferences” - said President Andrzej Duda during a meeting of the National Development Council.

Pawłowicz:
I've Won a Second Civil Lawsuit Against Owsiak
Krystyna Pawłowicz, a Member of Parliament from the Law and Justice party, announced on her Twitter account that she has won a second civil lawsuit against Jerzy Owsiak, the founder of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOSP).
The tweet, posted on November 30, 2018, reads: "I have won the second civil trial against Jurek Owsiak. The court has acknowledged the truth of my words, and Owsiak will have to compensate me for the moral damages he caused. The truth always wins."
Pawłowicz's lawsuit, as in the previous case, concerned statements made by Owsiak regarding her person. The specifics of the statements that led to the second lawsuit were not detailed in the tweet, but it is understood to be related to public comments made by Owsiak directed at Pawłowicz.
Jerzy Owsiak and the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity have been frequent targets of criticism from conservative politicians in Poland, including Krystyna Pawłowicz. The organization's fundraising activities and Owsiak's public persona have often been subjects of political debate and legal challenges.
This second legal victory for Pawłowicz reinforces her stance against Owsiak and is likely to be interpreted by her supporters as a vindication of her criticisms. The outcome of such legal battles often fuels ongoing political discourse in Poland.

The Podlaskie Voivodeship Assembly will not elect a new chairperson today. Following the departure of some councillors from the session, the chairperson Karol Pilecki ordered a break in the assembly's proceedings. Simultaneously, he invited representatives of the political clubs for a meeting on Monday.
- I would like to resolve this impasse and am therefore compelled to declare a break and convene a meeting of representatives from all councillor clubs in the chairperson's office on Monday at 4 PM - stated Pilecki.

Paweł Olszewski from Civic Platform, in an interpellation sent to the Ministry of National Defence, is asking the current minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, about the case of Major Magdalena E. who – as reported by TVN's "Superwizjer" reported – was part of a team investigating cooperation with Russian services, a Russian language translator.
She was later accused of disclosing secret information during an operation to free a Polish captain from a Belarusian prison. Following this accusation, the Major's access to secret information was revoked. A little over a week ago, a court overturned this decision.
"We wish to remind you that this is another ruling by the Voivodeship Administrative Court in the last two months, based on which the shameful decisions of the Prime Minister's Chancellery and the SWW were overturned. This ruling is also further evidence of the accuracy of the conclusions I have formulated regarding the instrumental use of the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Classified Information, which have nothing to do with the slogan 'guided by the good of protecting classified information' glorified by these entities, in order to remove deserving officers from the ranks of SWW officers because the then-leadership of the SWW, associated with Antoni Macierewicz, failed to break their 'moral spine' as had happened with other officers" - Olszewski writes in the interpellation and asks: "Does the Head of the SWW intend to draw service consequences for the officers involved in the initiation, conduct, and conclusion of the verification proceedings that led to the decision to revoke the security clearance of Major (ret.) Magdalena E.?"

- Coal is a necessity for us right now. If we were to abandon coal, we wouldn't have electricity. I don't know how it would be received if the lights went out immediately - said Henryk Kowalczyk in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.
19:30
Petru:
Misiło was the first to question my leadership of Nowoczesna. However, if others come and knock on my door, I'm open to discussion.
- I am not planning such acceptances. Piotr Misiło was actually the first to question my leadership of Nowoczesna at all, however, I have not had any such conversations with Mr. Piotr. On the other hand, if other people want to leave and come, and knock on my door, I am open to discussion - stated Ryszard Petru in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on "Fakty po faktach" TVN24. He added that he would prefer to discuss facts, not assumptions.

Kowalczyk:
We are leaders in emissions reduction, so claims that we are some black sheep or disgrace in Europe are false
- Poland has already reduced its emissions by 30% since 1989. We are leaders in emissions reduction, so claims that we are some black sheep or disgrace in Europe are false – said Henryk Kowalczyk in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program “Wydarzenia i Opinie” (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

A Year After Lubnauer's Election, Nowoczesna Remains Where It Is
- Humanly speaking, I am sad because I dedicated a great deal of energy and time to this political group [Nowoczesna]. A year ago, Katarzyna Lubnauer was elected, and after a year, Nowoczesna is where it is - stated Ryszard Petru in a conversation with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
19:44
Petru:
There's a Void for Nowoczesna on the Polish Political Scene
"Today, there is no political group that unequivocally champions economic issues, low taxes, preventing obstacles for entrepreneurs, and rejecting corrupt proposals, while simultaneously highlighting issues like pedophilia within the Church, as Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus does."
19:46
Petru:
The takeaway for the next elections is this: either we go separately, or we form a coalition of equals, all parties together.
- The takeaway from this [cooperation between Platforma and Nowoczesna] for the next elections is this: either we go separately, or we form a coalition of equals, all parties together. But it cannot be Civic Coalition, because what happened to Nowoczesna is a signal to others: look, if you jump into this well, you will disappear - stated Ryszard Petru in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
19:48
- I think it's a foregone conclusion [household subsidies]. The discussion is ongoing regarding the scale and methods of its implementation - said Henryk Kowalczyk in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" on Polsat News.
- One needs to ask the Minister of Energy, but from what he has declared, he is preparing [something] for all [households] - added Kowalczyk.
