- I hope it won't be so long [the interrogation by the Amber Gold investigative committee] that it prevents me from returning to work. My schedule is quite tight, however, but of course, it doesn't depend solely on me - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists before the interrogation.

"I don't want to be malicious. I was available, I waited for dates. The committee set three dates for me. I responded positively. The first one fell through, I proposed the second one, proposed by the committee. There was no agreement. A third [date] was proposed, without any consultation with me, which is today's. It wasn't easy for me, but I'm not complaining either, and I decided to accept this invitation as well. But it certainly doesn't make life easier."
