At 10:00 AM, the Constitutional Tribunal will examine President Andrzej Duda's motion to review the constitutionality of the amendment to the Social Security System Act, concerning the abolition of the upper limit for social security contributions (ZUS). „I appeal to the PSL not to form a coalition with PiS, because I believe PiS is anti-local government. I can declare on behalf of all Nowoczesna councillors that we will not form alliances with Law and Justice at any level. “He has somewhat positioned himself [Czarzasty as an enemy] during this entire campaign. If we had cooperation, if there had been a broader coalition, then probably fewer regional assemblies would currently be under PiS’s control,” she added.

„I do not foresee, absolutely no, coalitions at any level with PiS, and I do not agree to them” - he added.

The Constitutional Tribunal has postponed its ruling concerning the potential abolition of the upper limit on contributions to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). The decision, initially scheduled for today, has been adjourned.

The case revolves around a legislative proposal that aimed to remove the cap on the amount of earnings subject to social security contributions. The National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) will respect the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) concerning the Polish judiciary.

This was stated by the Chairman of the KRS, Professor Dariusz Zawistowski, in a statement released on Friday. He emphasized that the Council is a constitutional body and will act within the framework of Polish law and European Union law.
