Political Agenda for Tuesday: Constitutional Tribunal on the 30-Fold Cap, Razem Party to Summarize Election Results

At 10:00 AM, the Constitutional Tribunal will examine President Andrzej Duda's motion to review the constitutionality of the amendment to the Social Security System Act, concerning the abolition of the upper limit for social security contributions (ZUS). In practice, this pertains to the so-called 30-fold cap. In January, PAD decided to refer the act to the Constitutional Tribunal, citing concerns about "observing the standards of the legislative process."

The government session will commence at 10:00 AM. Ministers will address, among other issues, amendments to road traffic law and aviation law. At 9:30 AM, a joint briefing by Marshal Stanisław Karczewski and Minister Łukasz Szumowski will take place to promote influenza vaccinations.

From 11:00 AM, the Joint Government and Local Government Commission will convene. Simultaneously, the National Board of the Razem Party will hold a press conference to summarize the results of the local government elections. At 8:00 PM, President Andrzej Duda will participate in a concert commemorating the centenary of regaining independence.

WKK:

No Coalitions with PiS at the Regional Assembly Level. We Will Not Inject Politics into District or Municipal Levels. There Will Be Various Coalitions There.

- Nothing has changed [regarding coalitions with PiS]. We spoke about the political level, and the political level is the regional level. The regional level, where PiS is present in the form of national PiS leaders, where they are trying today to lure our councillors, to corrupt our councillors, because this is political corruption, and we will not politicize, and thank God, potholes in the road. In the previous term, there were PO and PiS coalitions in the Piaseczno district, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, and even in Bemowo in Warsaw. We even said in this studio that coalitions of a political dimension, meaning where politics is decided, where political strategy is determined, i.e., the regional assembly level, these coalitions [with PiS] will not happen - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a conversation with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- We will not inject politics into the district or municipal level. There will be various coalitions there. Coalitions of the left with PiS, of Platforma with PiS, and various local organizations and committees with us - the PSL president continued.

WKK:

I Find it Hard to Believe in PiS's Concern for PSL, as They Spat in Our Faces for Months

- Today they are trying to pat us on the head. To say how wonderful PSL is. How they care about us. It's hard for me to believe in PiS's concern for PSL, because for the last few months they spat in our faces, poured buckets of filth on us, and now they want to say that this spitting was just falling rain. We won't believe that. We were attacked very severely in this campaign - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

08:02

WKK:

Politically, We Will Not Enter into a Coalition with PiS

- Yes [this is the end for a PSL councillor who would make a deal with PiS in the regional assembly]. I don't see any possibility that any provincial councillor would remain in the PSL if they made a decision other than the party's decision in Warsaw, but rather the regional boards, and the regional boards have unequivocally stated their position - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Asked if everything is possible in the case of a municipality or district, the leader of the PSL replied: - It has always been like that. Of course, our first partners are local committees. It all depends on the possibilities of creating a given coalition. It cannot be the case that our voters voted, and then there is no chance of forming any majority. Politically, we will not enter into a coalition with PiS - the chairman of the PSL continued.

08:06

WKK:

I Can't Say 100% Today What Formula We'll Use for the European Elections

- This is another stage of discussion. I have always been a supporter of the PSL's autonomy and was in favor of us running independently [in the local elections], and the majority shared this view. Today, everyone is happy about that, and I think everyone is satisfied because, thanks to our independent start in these elections, we managed to stop PiS from ruling in 14 or 15 voivodeships. We'll see. I can't say 100% today what formula we'll use for the European elections - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

Schetyna on 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence Celebrations: Two Years of Preparations and a Big Zero

We will not be doing anything new, our own, because we believe that this anniversary should be celebrated with dignity. However, it is a great disappointment what PiS and the President have not done. Nearly two years of preparations, we also participated in the work of this committee. It is a big zero” - said the Civic Platform (PO) leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:19

Schetyna:

I believe the president initially had good intentions regarding joint celebration. It's a tragedy that the celebrations for this holiday are already ending before they've truly begun.

I believe the president initially had good intentions when speaking about the intention of joint celebration. We said that the excesses of the last November 11th must be accounted for, and then there would be a possibility for discussion. That possibility has ended. We are still reaching a situation where the president invites people to participate in a march from which he then flees” - said the head of Civic Platform (PO), Grzegorz Schetyna, on RMF FM.

It's a sad story. It's a tragedy that the celebrations for this holiday haven't even started yet, and they are already ending” - he added.

Schetyna on the Situation in Kukiz’15: A Serious Crisis is Coming. Cracks and Divisions Will Emerge

"I think there will be a serious crisis [in Kukiz’15]. It seems to me that cracks and divisions will emerge there," said PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna on RMF FM.

08:26

Schetyna:

If Ujazdowski Hadn't Withdrawn His Candidacy in Wrocław, Sutryk Wouldn't Have Won in the First Round

„Władysław Frasyniuk must understand that if Kazimierz Ujazdowski had not withdrawn his candidacy for president, for which I was responsible, then candidate Jacek Sutryk, previously indicated by Rafał Dutkiewicz, would not have won in the first round,” said the Civic Platform leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:40

Wójcik:

Ziobro's motion to the Constitutional Tribunal was filed on October 5. I have no influence on when it will be published, but this only proves the Tribunal's independence

- Minister Ziobro filed the motion [to the Constitutional Tribunal] on October 5, a few weeks before the elections. I have no influence on when this motion will be published, but this only proves the independence of the Constitutional Tribunal – stated Michał Wójcik in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Polityczne Graffiti".

When asked about Michał Dworczyk's statement that the timing chosen by Ziobro was unfortunate, the Deputy Minister of Justice replied: - After that statement, I reviewed all the statements made in the last three weeks, and the Prime Minister said on October 17 that he knew about Zbigniew Ziobro's motion. Perhaps Minister Dworczyk was not aware of that statement.

08:41

Wójcik:

We are not working on a bill to ban abortion

- We are not working on a bill that would ban abortion. This is a media reality. One of the newspapers conveyed such information, and it was replicated. There are no such works underway - stated Michał Wójcik in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Polityczne Graffiti".

09:08

Szczerski:

No agreement reached on unifying the Independence March as the President had hoped

- The President will attend all state ceremonies on November 11th. He wants to visit Poles celebrating November 11th in their own communities across Poland, so he will also be outside Warsaw. If it succeeds that Poles truly celebrate this day simultaneously in many places in Poland, it will be a great victory for the President's idea, that Poles celebrate this holiday together where they live - stated Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- Regarding the march itself, an agreement was not reached on which the President was keen, namely that the march would not be an environmental march, but a community march. This did not succeed - added the presidential minister. - The President was keen for this march to be a white-and-red, community march. There was even a concept for different groups to march in a star formation and then meet in a common march without emblems, only under the white-and-red flag. There was no final agreement on this - he continued.

09:27

Szczerski on the ECJ's Order:

It Must Not Be Automatically Implemented.
If legal analyses indicate that this [ECJ] order is in force and must be implemented, it must not be automatically implemented; it does not produce legal effects on its own, it must first be accepted in Poland, adopted in Poland. This means the normal work of parliament on a potential amendment to the law - stated Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".

09:37

Płażyński on Whether He Will Leave the Party in Jaki's Footsteps:

No
Because I identify with this party, I believe in the ideals that guide it, I believe that through it, we can change our Republic for the better - stated Kacper Płażyński in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet, when asked why he joined PiS.

If I were only thinking about my career, I wouldn't have joined PiS, I would have remained an independent candidate with PiS support. It would probably have been easier, perhaps in Gdańsk - he continued. Asked if he would leave the party in Patryk Jaki's footsteps, he replied "no". - No, I won't throw [my membership card] away - he added.

09:53

Lubnauer:

I Appeal to the PSL Not to Form a Coalition with PiS, Because I Believe PiS is Anti-Local Government

I appeal to the PSL not to form a coalition with PiS, because I believe PiS is anti-local government. I can declare on behalf of all Nowoczesna councillors that we will not form alliances with Law and Justice at any level. I am counting on very good cooperation with the PSL in the regional assemblies. It is very important there that as many regional assemblies as possible remain on the democratic side. There is a chance it could be 10:6. Unfortunately, I am unable to influence all PSL activists at all levels, and I think that even for leader Kosiniak-Kamysz, this is difficult” - said the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, in „Sedno sprawy” on Radio Plus in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski.

09:57

Lubnauer:

Czarzasty has positioned himself as an enemy. His election results are far from satisfactory. He failed to get himself into the regional assembly. He ran and lost miserably.

Mr. Czarzasty has a problem with the fact that his election results are far from satisfactory. He didn’t even manage to get himself into the regional assembly. He ran and lost miserably. Furthermore, regarding the results for the entire party, 11 seats in the regional assembly. For comparison – Nowoczesna – 31. This shows that these elections have ended in a certain defeat for the SLD. I understand that, wanting to cover up these poor results, he tries to attack, to insult others. I wrote to him that the number of opponents also testifies to a politician's strength, but it’s worth working on their quality,” said the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, on Radio Plus.

He has somewhat positioned himself [Czarzasty as an enemy] during this entire campaign. If we had cooperation, if there had been a broader coalition, then probably fewer regional assemblies would currently be under PiS’s control,” she added.

Prime Minister Must Correct Statement on Krakow Smog

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has been urged to correct his statement regarding smog levels in Krakow. The controversy arose after an online statement that seemed to downplay the severity of air pollution in the historic city. Critics argue that such remarks are misleading and insensitive to the health concerns of Krakow's residents.

The call for correction comes from various quarters, including environmental organizations and concerned citizens. They point to the consistent and often dangerous levels of particulate matter and other pollutants detected in Krakow's air, particularly during the autumn and winter months.

"It is crucial that our leaders present accurate information about the challenges we face, especially when it concerns the health and well-being of our citizens," stated Anna Kowalska, a spokesperson for a local environmental advocacy group. "Statements that create a false sense of security can hinder the implementation of necessary measures to combat air pollution."

While the exact nature of the Prime Minister's original statement and the specific context are not detailed here, the demand for a correction underscores the ongoing public concern about air quality in Krakow. The city has long struggled with high levels of smog, attributed to a combination of factors including domestic coal burning, traffic emissions, and geographical conditions.

This incident highlights the importance of clear and factual communication from government officials on critical environmental issues. The public expects transparency and a commitment to addressing problems like air pollution effectively.

More PiS Election Rallies Featuring JK and PMM

At 6:00 PM in Konin, a PiS election rally will take place with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Also at 6:00 PM, in Skarżysko-Kamienna, another PiS election rally will be held with the participation of party leader Jarosław Kaczyński.

11:31

Karczewski:

PSL Members Clearly State They Are Closer to PiS Than to Nowoczesna and Civic Platform

- I know that talks are underway, and this refutes what we recently heard from the PSL chairman. I personally meet not with leaders, not with voivodeship councillors, but with PSL members, and they very much want a coalition with us. So, a completely different opinion, stance, and perspective. PSL members, and since I live in a rural area myself, my contact and conversations with PSL politicians are quite frequent, clearly state that they are closer to PiS than to Nowoczesna and Civic Platform – stated Stanisław Karczewski at a briefing.

PSL and SLD Reach Agreement on Regional Coalitions; WKK Rules Out Talks with PiS in Provincial Assemblies, Czarzasty Declares No Coalitions with PiS at Any Level

We have had a meeting with Chairman Czarzasty to discuss the principles of cooperation between our formations in the provincial assemblies, as this is the political level where these decisions will be made, at the national level in agreement with the regions. Our parties are the most democratic formations with the strongest decentralization in their structures. We declare our willingness to form joint coalitions and coalition agreements in all voivodeships where it is possible and where our parties are represented. Already today, our councilors are meeting in individual regions. We have always spoken of each other with goodwill during this campaign, and this also means that today we have no problem establishing contact and cooperation. We want to conduct these talks together with Civic Coalition” - said the leader of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, at a press conference.

We exclude the possibility of talks with PiS at the level of provincial assemblies. We said that we would not enter into coalitions with the anti-local government party at this level. Until November 19-20, there is time for these talks to take place” - he added.

It has turned out that there is no possibility in Poland to form stable governments without PSL and SLD. This has proven true in the provincial assemblies. It is also proving true in the Sejm. Today, we have honestly and trustfully stated to each other that we want to build coalitions in the provincial assemblies together” - explained the head of SLD, Włodzimierz Czarzasty.

I do not foresee, absolutely no, coalitions at any level with PiS, and I do not agree to them” - he added.

Constitutional Tribunal Postpones Ruling on Abolishing ZUS Contribution Cap

The Constitutional Tribunal has postponed its ruling concerning the potential abolition of the upper limit on contributions to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). The decision, initially scheduled for today, has been adjourned.

The case revolves around a legislative proposal that aimed to remove the cap on the amount of earnings subject to social security contributions. Currently, there is a ceiling on the annual income on which ZUS contributions are calculated. Removing this limit would mean that higher earners would contribute more to the social insurance system.

Proponents of the change argued that it would improve the financial stability of the ZUS and lead to higher pensions in the future, especially for those who earn significantly above the current cap. Opponents, however, expressed concerns about the potential impact on the labor market, competitiveness, and the overall tax burden.

The adjournment of the ruling means that the status quo regarding ZUS contribution limits will remain in place for the time being. Further details regarding the reasons for the postponement and the new date for the verdict are expected to be announced by the Tribunal.

This development is being closely watched by various stakeholders, including employees, employers, and economic analysts, as it has significant implications for Poland's social security system and its broader economy.

Gazeta Wrocławska: Civic Coalition Crumbles in Wrocław City Council

- Civic Coalition barely won the elections to the Wrocław City Council, and it's already falling apart! The newly elected councillors from Nowoczesna's list intend to form their own club in the council, independent of Civic Platform. 5 councillors will join it. Platform will be left with 12 councillors. 19 votes are needed to govern the city - writes Malwina Gadawa in "Gazeta Wrocławska".

Mazurek:

PiS Will Not Participate in the November 11th March

Beata Mazurek, spokesperson for the Law and Justice (PiS) party, announced that the party will not participate in the Independence March on November 11th. The statement was made via Twitter.

The Independence March is an annual event held on Poland's National Independence Day, commemorating the country's regaining of sovereignty in 1918. In recent years, the march has been a significant event with a large turnout, often attended by various political parties and organizations.

The decision by PiS not to participate raises questions about the party's relationship with the organizers and other political actors involved in the march. While the specific reasons for this decision have not been elaborated on by Mazurek in the initial announcement, it is likely to be a subject of further political discussion and analysis in the coming days.

Razem Opens to Talks with Other Left-Wing Parties, Including SLD and Biedroń's Future Party. Dziemianowicz-Bąk: We Must Humbly Look at the Election Results

The results of the local elections are not satisfactory for anyone on the left side of the political scene. The local elections have shown how much Jarosław Kaczyński has managed to cement the Polish political scene. The vise of PO-PiS is tightening more and more around Poland, leaving less and less room for progressive and left-wing movements” - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk from the Razem Party at a press conference.

After the elections, we must humbly look at their results and rethink our strategy for the future. In Razem, we have no doubt that fragmentation on our side of the political scene plays into the hands of PO-PiS. We don't want to have to learn this lesson from the local elections again. As Razem, we are convinced that we must try to talk with all groups to the left of PO-PiS. We feel that we are not alone. We do not know what the result of these talks will be, we cannot prejudge today what they will conclude with” - she added.

As informed on Twitter by Marcin Górski, a Mazovian activist of the Razem Party, the first unofficial meeting on this topic has already taken place, which was commented on by Anna-Maria Żukowska, spokesperson for SLD.

Karczewski on the Independence March: It's Nonsense to Do Something Alongside This March. It Was Already an Example and Experience of Komorowski. It Didn't Work Out for Him. It Wouldn't Work Out for Us Either.
We wanted to reach an agreement so that this march on the centenary would be exceptional. It would be primarily white and red. No party colours, associations, organisations, or banners. It would be beautiful and wonderful – Stanisław Karczewski said in an interview with wPolityce.pl. We wanted to make this march exclusively in white and red colours. There was no agreement on this – Karczewski added. Whose agreement was missing? – Marcin Fijołek inquired. The organisers’ – Karczewski replied. Perhaps the state should have organised it? – the journalist noted. We wanted to. It's nonsense to do something alongside this march. It was already an example and experience of Bronisław Komorowski. It didn't work out for him. It wouldn't work out for us either – the Marshal of the Senate replied.

KRS Chairman: The Council Will Comply with the ECJ Ruling

The National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) will respect the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) concerning the Polish judiciary.

This was stated by the Chairman of the KRS, Professor Dariusz Zawistowski, in a statement released on Friday. He emphasized that the Council is a constitutional body and will act within the framework of Polish law and European Union law.

Zawistowski assured that all decisions made by the KRS will be consistent with the binding judgments of the ECJ. He also indicated that the Council is already analyzing the implications of the ruling and is preparing to implement the necessary changes.

The ECJ recently ruled that the Polish Supreme Court's Disciplinary Chamber does not meet the requirements of an independent and impartial tribunal. This decision has significant implications for the rule of law in Poland and has been met with varied reactions from political circles.

Lipiński on Ziobro's Resignation: 'Those are more like fairy tales. No such demands were formulated at all.'

- We don't completely oversee the messaging of individual ministries, and Minister Ziobro has an exceptionally strong position. Perhaps he wasn't aware of the consequences, of how it could be used by our opponents. But unfortunately, in politics, one must be aware of the consequences - stated Adam Lipiński in an interview with Justyna Dobrosz-Oracz on Wyborcza.pl, when asked about Zbigniew Ziobro's motion to the Constitutional Tribunal.

When asked if the Minister of Justice might lose his position, or if these were fairy tales, he replied: - Those are more like fairy tales. I rely on the information conveyed at the political committee's presidium meetings, but no such demands were formulated at all.

Lubnauer:

Czarzasty Doesn't Understand Coalition Dynamics. For Me, It's a Mistake. In the Future, We'll Need to Build Broader Agreements
- After the elections, we counted ourselves, and it turned out that Nowoczesna within the Civic Coalition has 31 regional assembly councilors, while SLD has 11. Włodzimierz Czarzasty is clearly bothered by this, which is why he attacked me again after the elections. I must say that it is clearly evident that he doesn't understand the dynamics of a coalition. For me, it's a mistake. In the future, we'll need to build broader agreements - Katarzyna Lubnauer stated in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program „Wydarzenia i Opinie” on Polsat News.

19:38

Lubnauer:

I appeal to the government to organize such celebrations for the centenary that we will remember them

- There will certainly be an important representative of Nowoczesna [at the November 11th celebrations on Piłsudski Square]. That is certain. However, there are still two weeks left. I have time. I appeal to the government to organize such celebrations for the centenary that we will remember them, and not for them to just pass by without notice - said Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" (Events and Opinions) on Polsat News.

19:54

Brudziński:

One gets the impression that the Court of Appeal in Krakow is heavily politicized

- I have no complaints, because after the previous decisions of the court of appeal in Krakow, after everything that the public opinion could observe, one gets the impression, I'm speaking about my personal feeling, that the Court of Appeal in Krakow is heavily politicized - stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News, when asked about today's court ruling regarding Prime Minister Morawiecki. As the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration emphasized, the court's decision will be executed.

20:08

Brudziński:

It's a colossal lie that PiS wants to take Poland out of the EU

- We must also honestly admit that at least the end of the campaign mobilized an electorate that went to the polls, an anti-PiS electorate - stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

- The problem is that indeed, in the last two days of the campaign, a very effective process was launched – we must give credit to our predecessors – with help, as the opposition itself often says, from abroad, an unimaginable, monstrously large fake news operation was initiated. Namely, saying that or, to put it bluntly, a crude lie, that PiS wants to take Poland out of the EU, is a monstrously colossal lie. [The motion to the Constitutional Tribunal] was used to create the impression - added the Minister of the Interior and Administration.

20:16

Emilewicz:

The Prime Minister is complying with court rulings, so a correction will be published as per the recommendation of this controversial court judgment.
The Prime Minister is complying with court rulings, so a correction will be published as per the recommendation of this controversial, let's be frank, court judgment. Controversial because, I'll remind you of the context. The Prime Minister, when assessing the actions of his predecessors in the years 2007-2015, referred to a judgment by the tribunal of justice, which was handed down in February of this year and concerned the years 2007-2015 - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości".

20:20

Emilewicz on Krakow Smog: "We are not saying nothing has been done. This is the effect of civic engagement."
"We are not saying nothing has been done. This is the effect of civic engagement. Of citizen movements, of pulling councilors by their ears. I will remind you of one very telling thing. A few weeks ago, it was a civic audit, not a political or campaign-driven one, that pointed out how many abuses of this kind are occurring," said Jadwiga Emilewicz in a conversation with Krzysztof Ziemiec on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

20:27

Emilewicz on the November 12th Day Off: "Today We're on a Very Risky Course Regarding Time"
"If these types of days are one-off, they cost the economy. If they are systematic, then as we can talk today about Sunday trading restrictions, it's a matter of consumers adapting" – Jadwiga Emilewicz said in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości". "We won't say that there is no impact. The question is whether we shouldn't be addressing a certain group, namely children in schools, teachers, and officials. Isn't it a good idea to extend the possibility of celebrating for this specific group?" – Emilewicz added. "Today we're on a very risky course regarding time" – stated Emilewicz.

IMAGE OF THE DAY: Trzaskowski on Mazovia: Rumors of all sorts of strange talks are reaching us, Ociepa: Struzik added fuel to the fire

-- LIVEBLOG 300POLITYKI:
Emilewicz on the November 12th holiday: Today we are on a very risky course in terms of time.
Emilewicz on smog in Krakow: We are not saying that nothing has been done. This is the effect of civic activity.
Emilewicz: The Prime Minister is enforcing court rulings, so the correction will be published as recommended by this controversial court verdict.
Brudziński: It is a pyramidal lie that PiS wants to lead Poland out of the EU.
Struzik: As PO and PSL, we should have one list, because we are members of the same faction in the European Parliament. If Nowoczesna joins us, the strength of this coalition will be very large.
Brudziński: We have already had a winner of botched exit poll surveys. The opposition achieved an election night success, and PiS won the local government elections.
Struzik: Talks with our natural ally - PO - are ongoing. I will aspire to the position of Marshal of the Voivodeship as a representative of PSL.
Brudziński: One might get the impression that the Court of Appeal in Krakow is heavily politicized.
Lubnauer: I appeal to the government to organize such celebrations of the centenary that we will remember them.
PJK: We need to consolidate a democratic, civic society. Only then can success be achieved.
PJK: I don't think there is any doubt that our opponents are not ready for cooperation, since they are not even ready to participate in the celebrations of the centenary of regaining independence.

-- The Independence March, without the President and without PiS. There has been a sudden change of plans because there is suddenly no agreement. It seems that Polish politicians will celebrate separately.

-- NOT ONLY THE PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE NEGOTIATED WITH THESE PEOPLE, PAD ALSO INVITED TO THIS MARCH A FEW DAYS AGO, AND NOW HE HAS DECIDED NOT TO MARCH WITH THEM - Sobieniowski in front of scenes from previous marches.

-- I DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CHAOS - PBK.

-- PRESIDENTS IN POZNAŃ.

-- ŁÓDŹ SENT INVITATIONS TO THE GAMES OF FREEDOM - Sobieniowski.

-- WE MANAGED TO INVITE PRIME MINISTER TUSK TO DISCUSS WHAT OUR INDEPENDENCE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE - Zdanowska.

-- IT WAS NOT THE OPPOSITION PARTIES BUT THE PRESIDENTS WHO TOOK ON THE BURDEN OF ORGANIZATION, WHILE PIS AND THE PRESIDENT WANTED TO MAKE THIS THE MAIN POINT OF THESE CELEBRATIONS - Sobieniowski.

-- VIKTOR ORBAN MAY BE IN WARSAW BECAUSE HUNGARY EMERGED FROM WORLD WAR I AS A LOSER AND WITH TERRITORIAL LOSSES - Sobieniowski.

-- Post-election keyword: coalition. The head of SLD warns his activists against PiS, the head of PSL too. But it seems not everyone is listening. How does high-level politics relate to grassroots maneuvers?

-- A JOINT PHOTO OF THE HEADS OF SLD AND PSL IS TO BE A SIGNAL FOR COUNCILORS - Krzysztof Skórzyński: A joint photo of the heads of SLD and PSL is to be a signal for councilors. So they know who they can make deals with and who they cannot. According to the leaders of the Alliance and the Peasant Party, there can be no negotiation with PiS at any cost, for any position. Włodzimierz Czarzasty announced this in his characteristic style.

-- CZARZASTY: I believe that if a neighbor constantly drinks alcohol, beats his wife, rapes his children, steals, tears up the constitution, breaks the law every day, deceives courts, then I don't want to talk to such a neighbor. That's all.

-- Such an argument is to be a warning to SLD councilors who might consider repeating a coalition formed in the Konecki district elsewhere. SLD councilors have been suspended from the party since Monday because they formed a coalition with PiS - Skórzyński.

-- CZARZASTY: I adhere to the principle that I do not negotiate with terrorists. Difference of opinion. I respect it, I bow.

-- SKÓRZYŃSKI ON PSL TALKS WITH PIS: ...responds Włodzimierz Czarzasty, turning his head towards the chairman of PSL, who, for example, did not pacify his councilors in Białogard. He did not threaten them with suspension from the party for the coalition that PSL councilors formed with PiS. An identical one was also formed in Chełm. And talks about a coalition are still ongoing in at least several city councils and district councils.

-- The districts of Chełm and Białogard are only two reasons why the position of the PSL leader from the first minutes after the election results were announced, that "one does not enter into coalitions with an anti-local government party," has clearly softened - Skórzyński.

-- KOSINIAK: Let's not reduce politics, which has divided Poland and Poles, to the level of matters related to sidewalk repairs or road construction.

-- STRUZIK HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN KOSINIAK: The chairman of PSL continues to rule out a coalition with PiS in regional assemblies. However, the number two man in PSL has a slightly different view on a coalition with PiS in the Mazovia Voivodeship Assembly - Skórzyński.

-- STRUZIK: Everything is possible if the main challenge is the good of the region.

-- STRUZIK VERY MUCH WANTS TO KEEP HIS SEAT - Skórzyński: The legendary activist has been ruling Mazovia for 17 years. For those familiar with the behind-the-scenes of local politics, it is no secret that Struzik very much wants to keep the position of Marshal of the Voivodeship. However, Civic Platform is pushing for a well-known MP - Marcin Kierwiński - for this position. And this means that the position of Marshal will be a bargaining chip in coalition talks in Mazovia.

-- KOWNACKI: One can negotiate with anyone, especially when it comes to local government matters.

-- TRZASKOWSKI: Indeed, rumors of all sorts of strange talks are reaching us, but I think that Civic Coalition, together with PSL, will govern in Mazovia.

-- COURT ACQUITTED BLOCKERS OF THE NATIONALISTS' MARCH: There is a court verdict regarding the blocking of the nationalists' march, and there are eight acquitted individuals. Their behavior was not reprehensible, so they do not deserve punishment - the court stated. According to the judge, last year's march was clearly not a peaceful assembly.

-- FOR THE SECOND TIME THE PRIME MINISTER MUST CORRECT: For the second time in the current election campaign, the Prime Minister must correct his words. In the fight for Krakow, an election lawsuit appeared, and in this battle, Jacek Majchrowski is on top. To be on top on Sunday, candidates in smaller cities are being helped by recognizable politicians. In Grudziądz, Kielce, Konin, and Kalisz, it is a fight for every vote.

-- THE MAYOR OF KRAKOW CAN CONSIDER THE DUEL WITH THE PRIME MINISTER A SUCCESS - Arleta Zalewska.

-- TRZASKOWSKI IS TO COME TO KRAKOW; TODAY HE SUPPORTED CANDIDATES IN KALISZ AND KONIN - Zalewska.

-- SZYDŁO IN KIELCE.

-- AS PART OF THE "ALL HANDS ON DECK" CAMPAIGN, WINNERS OF THE FIRST ROUND AND LEADERS OF KO AND PIS ARE MEETING - Zalewska.

-- THE EFFECT OF PI'S VICTORY IS TO BE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE REGIONS, WHICH THE OPPOSITION CALLS ELECTION BLACKMAIL - Zalewska.

-- BŁASZCZAK IN THE USA: There is support for this project - says Mariusz Błaszczak about Fort Trump. The head of the Polish Ministry of National Defence met with President Trump's advisor, John Bolton, in Washington. Another conversation about the establishment of a permanent base of American troops in Poland will take place in November.

Wassermann's campaign launches another stylized spot criticizing Majchrowski:

This city belongs to me and my colleagues. And long may it remain so

Małgorzata Wassermann's campaign team is presenting their second stylized spot of this campaign, criticizing Jacek Majchrowski. This time, the incumbent president is being reminded of his fight for the organization of the Olympic Games and the associated costs, as well as the city's concrete-heavy development.

“This city belongs to me and my colleagues. And long may it remain so” – says the actor playing Majchrowski at the end of the spot.
