"Regarding journalists, I want to categorically deny reports that such a change [in journalistic privilege] will occur. If we are talking about changes related to professional secrecy, then indeed such work is ongoing, there are various concepts, but the matter will certainly not affect the journalistic community in the slightest. As for changes in other areas, I would not want to take a stance at this time," said the Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, on the First Program of Polish Radio.

- The opposition, including its leader, Grzegorz Schetyna, lied many times yesterday, deceiving public opinion by saying that the court ordered Prime Minister Morawiecki to apologize. The court did not order an apology. We caught Schetyna in another lie. Politicians, who were surprised, just like I was – I was presiding over Senate proceedings at 6 PM – did not have contact with the Prime Minister. Hence, our statements were not unequivocal. However, today I can already say unequivocally, and there was also a statement from Chief of Staff Tomasz Poręba yesterday, that such a statement will be issued – stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

“I would remind you that not only in Poland have such topics been discussed, regarding the scope of competences, the cognition [power] of the court in Luxembourg. The German Constitutional Court, which is difficult to accuse of involvement in the Polish political dispute, expressed a procedural stance in the form of a ruling and justification that the CJEU does not have the competence to interfere in the internal organization of the German judiciary, because it does not fall within the CJEU's competence. We stand on the same position. We believe that Polish courts are entangling the CJEU in this type of ruling. I think that political considerations will not lie at the basis of any potential CJEU ruling, that this position, hitherto unequivocal, expressed in the ruling of the German Constitutional Court, will not be questioned for political reasons, and that the CJEU will not join the political battle in Poland, but will want to act professionally and reliably, even if Marek Safjan sits on this court, who is breaking the principles of judicial independence and acting purely politically” - said Minister Zbigniew Ziobro on Jedynka radio.

“For us, the highest norm is the Polish constitution, and in the light of this constitution, we will assess all actions of the CJEU. No one probably has any doubts as to what is the highest-ranking legal act for Poland” - he added.

- I think Poles know perfectly well that the biggest election lie in recent years was the lie of the Civic Platform, which told Poles that there was no money in the budget for the 500+ program - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- All of Poland sees that the money for 500+ has been found, and contrary to what Ewa Kopacz and Grzegorz Schetyna said, there is no second Greece in Poland, meaning no gigantic financial crisis. What's more, next year we will have the lowest deficit in history - he added.

- Prime Minister Morawiecki is very active. I truly admire him. We spoke before going on air. We both, I think, followed his travel schedule with admiration, because it's not just domestic trips, he's in 3-4 places at once, but a series of international obligations. - Yes, it is important to ensure the proper use of EU funds. There are regions that are dominated, that are ruled by the PO-PSL coalition, which do not spend EU money, and thus Poland risks wasting five billion [zloty] from EU funds that these regions are not spending. Let's say it plainly: Mateusz Morawiecki must admit in a correction that he lied. If he said something untrue, then he simply lied. One can dress it up in different words, but the truth is that the Prime Minister of the Polish government has basely lied in his statement regarding road construction in Poland. This means that anyone who listens to Mateusz Morawiecki from now on will always have to consider that if he lied once, he might lie again – Katarzyna Lubnauer stated at a press conference.

Schetyna and PO are lying. Firstly, the court did not order the Prime Minister to apologize to anyone. The Prime Minister did not lie. He only stated that we are spending more money in one and a half years than PO did in 8 years on local roads. The court only pointed out that this road program had not been adopted at the time, and it was adopted three days after that statement. And this money will be spent. It's just a play on words. The court did not indicate that he lied, and the Prime Minister does not have to apologize to anyone, and there is nothing to apologize for. The Prime Minister will clarify as the court ruled. It is very bad that we do not condemn PO politicians who are shamelessly lying about this matter. If the Prime Minister had said: we will spend and soon we will have a program – there would have been no discussion at all. He said "we are spending" because he knew that this money was already reserved and would be spent. PO politicians have compromised themselves. Namely, that the police will stand guard over public order and will prosecute all those who violate public order. We expect that citizens exercising their constitutional freedoms will have the right to do so. We also expect that in the upcoming - we hope - verdicts, this tendency which has been visible so far will be apparent. That a significant number of judges, based on the Constitution, either dismiss cases or rule on the innocence of persons brought before the court by the police or prosecutors - stated Bogdan Klich at a briefing titled "PiS Uses Police to Fight the Opposition”.

"I stand opposite the famous House Without Corners, about which a historical anecdote says that Piłsudski asked for such a building to be constructed. The District Court in Łódź upheld the ruling from the regional court in March, which found that the Mayor of Łódź, Hanna Zdanowska, had made a false statement in documents when applying for a loan. Today's court decision is final and legally binding.

The ruling was commented on Twitter by the PiS spokesperson, Deputy Marshal Beata Mazurek, referring to the words spoken yesterday by Grzegorz Schetyna.

The Civic Platform leader, commenting on the court's verdict in an election trial, stated that a person of honor in Prime Minister Morawiecki's position would resign.

A meeting of the Sejm's Committee on Education, Science, and Youth has been scheduled for Monday at 3:00 PM. The committee will review and provide an opinion on the opposition's motion to express a vote of no confidence in the Minister of National Education, Anna Zalewska.

The following day, on Tuesday at 5:00 PM, the same committee will provide an opinion on the motion concerning the appointment to the position of Children's Ombudsman. The sole candidate for this role is Agnieszka Dudzińska.

The Sejm begins a three-day session on Tuesday, and it is highly probable that both motions will be considered at that time.

- Today I met with sports communities from all over the city, Warsaw, and put forward a whole series of very specific proposals within the "Small Big Sport" program, because our primary goal is to activate young people, so that twice as many kids in Warsaw practice sports and have that opportunity. We want to increase this number from 27,000 to 54,000, and we also want to invest in professional, high-performance sport, which is the most important for the city's identity. We want to support clubs, both the largest and most well-known, as well as the smaller ones - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing.

- In addition, the issue of unified management of all sports infrastructure, which is incredibly important to me. Currently, it is often the case that small clubs simply cannot afford to rent infrastructure, and we want to reduce the price so that not all clubs have to generate income by renting out infrastructure. Cheaper, uniformly managed infrastructure will allow for the development of sport in our city - he continued.

"Another matter - municipal companies as strategic partners for Warsaw clubs. We want to consider the possibility of supporting professional clubs, because we would like to see sport at the highest possible level visit Warsaw as often as possible. We all care about this. Another priority - year-round sport. We will cover all 'Orlik' and 'Syrenka' pitches, which will allow sports to be practiced on these sports facilities also in the afternoons, in autumn, and also in winter. - We are discussing proposals for Targówek. The most important among them are the expansion of the second metro line to Bródno and extending the metro to the PKP Toruńska station. We were just talking with teachers and parents about the needs related to infrastructure, and we are announcing three new schools here in Targówek, as well as new kindergartens and nurseries, and importantly, the expansion of existing facilities. Today, I also had a meeting with sports communities in Śródmieście, with representatives of clubs and sports organizations. One of the things that was raised was precisely the issue of expanding recreational complexes, and we want to propose such an expansion here in Targówek – Trzaskowski added.

- I was referring to the ruling party, in the context of this education reform they are imposing on us, which takes us back 40 years, which causes specific problems and translates into the ability to meet basic needs. If, for example, we have a surge in birth years, 40,000 more children will come to school next year. Additional obligations are being imposed on local government, leading to great chaos, with the liquidation of middle schools, and everything we have built. It seemed we had investment plans, but now, thanks to what is happening, everything is turned upside down – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a Town Hall Meeting with the residents of Targówek.

I can no longer imagine a situation where PiS would succeed in removing the First President, and I think Ms. Gersdorf is a positive example of how to calmly approach such attacks from PiS.
