President Andrzej Duda is undertaking his first official visit to the White House. At 18:15 Polish time, the Presidential Couple will be welcomed in Washington. The one-on-one meeting between Andrzej Duda and Donald Trump will commence at 18:30 (Polish time). A joint press conference of the presidents is scheduled for 20:05. Afterwards, the Presidential Couple will proceed to the Senate, where they will meet with representatives of the Polish parliamentary group. 

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will participate in the Three Seas Initiative summit in Bucharest. At noon, the plenary session will begin, followed by a press conference at 14:00, and at 16:00, the head of the Polish government will meet with the Prime Minister of Romania.

The government, in a session commencing at 10:00, will address, among other matters, the establishment of the Local Government Road Fund. Also at 10:00, the parliamentary investigative committee for VAT fraud will begin questioning the first witness, Witold Modzelewski.

Talks have been ongoing for many months, at the expert level, regarding the possibility of changing the nature of the American military presence in Poland. I don't think a final decision can be expected in the coming months, because the decision-making process in such matters in the United States is quite complex. It involves not only the White House, the President's office, but also the State Department, the Department of Defense, and both chambers of Congress. Not like now, meaning Warsaw is covered by local spatial development plans for only about 30%. This is happening because developers rule in the Warsaw City Hall – Jaki continued. - On September 19th, applications open for the 'Clean Air' program. This is 103 billion PLN allocated for the fight against smog. It is very important that Warsaw can reach for these funds that the government has allocated for the fight against smog. These are the most important remedies that can solve the problems of Warsaw residents – added Jaki.

Poland has for many months, and indeed years – one could say – always approached this problem extremely factually and openly; I believe everyone will agree on this. We defended our arguments, of course, our convictions regarding what the reform of the justice system should look like within the framework of EU membership. It would be good for this matter to conclude, but we will wait until the member states come to this conviction themselves. Poland is not demanding anything regarding deadlines. If a significant group of countries wishes to discuss this topic, we are always available, and we will gladly present our arguments, which I believe are factual, clear, and politically very unambiguous. We are willing to defend the solutions adopted by the Polish parliament, even under difficult political circumstances, but always factually and amicably – stated Konrad Szymański in a conversation with journalists.

- Our goal is to create an efficient system that will assist Warsaw residents with their commutes in our city. Not long ago, only 1% of Varsovians used bicycles for commuting. Today, that figure is already 7%, and we have an ambitious target of reaching 12% - said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference. - The plans are ambitious. From 550 km of bike paths, we aim to expand them to over 800 km. We want to create an entire system. Today, the problem is that in Warsaw, we have fantastic bike paths, but they often end abruptly or are very congested. The idea is to connect the existing paths with those that are planned. It's also about building paths on the main routes leading out of the city, which is incredibly important – Trzaskowski added.

"Throughout our election campaign, we consistently reiterate that we need good stewards in the regions, people who will act ambitiously, effectively, and with commitment for these regions, doing everything to utilize every zloty, every grosz, to elevate these regions civically and accelerate their development. Unfortunately, hard facts, hard numbers, concerning a part of Polish regions governed by Platforma and PSL, leave no doubt that there are simply no such good stewards when it comes to spending European funds," said the head of the PiS campaign staff, Tomasz Poręba, at a press conference. "The First President of the Supreme Court, Prof. Małgorzata Gersdorf, while expressing her gratitude for the adopted resolution, conveyed her deep emotion that the current situation of the judiciary in Poland is a subject of interest and engagement for legal communities in other European countries. Prof. Małgorzata Gersdorf drew attention to the personal attacks that judges in our country are subjected to, both from politicians of the ruling party and from media outlets influenced by the current government. These attempts not only deny the idea of conducting reforms in a democratic state governed by the rule of law, but also undermine fundamental values such as personal dignity and the right to freedom of expression. The letter of thanks also includes an appeal for support in initiating a broad debate on the pan-European stage, with considerations on the rule of law as its main theme. Prof. Gersdorf highlighted the need to invite ordinary citizens, not associated with political elites or the legal community, to this discussion. In the assessment of the First President of the Supreme Court, a broad educational campaign explaining the true meaning of the separation of powers and the independence of the judiciary from the world of politics is necessary. This would be served by building a nationwide network of legal educators, supporting Polish non-governmental organizations acting in favor of the rule of law, and organizing a pan-European legal congress."

- I will start with the construction of a tram line towards Wilanów. It will run along Rakowiecka Street, there will be a special transfer hub where one can transfer from the metro to the tram and reach Wilanów itself – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

- Another issue is the expansion of school and kindergarten infrastructure, which is a very important matter. I discussed this with teachers from Mokotów schools. The construction of two kindergartens, on Bernardyńska Street and on Aleja Niepodległości. Also, a large complex in Siekierki, where a school and kindergarten will be built – Trzaskowski added.

We are implementing this largest military investment in Poland in the last 30 years. We want to make further equipment purchases. We want to cooperate in research and development regarding military technology. I am convinced that this cooperation between Poland and the USA will go well. I hope that the President will decide to send additional American units with equipment to Poland. I smiled at the President, saying I'd like us to jointly create a permanent American base, which we will call 'Fort Trump'. It is in the country's interest to have a balanced trade balance and one must take care of that. Of course, interests always clash, but looking objectively, it's hard not to understand that. It's always a clash of interests. Every business is a clash of interests. I represent Polish interests, the President represents American interests. The whole point is to agree on important matters in such a way that both countries gain and lose as little as possible. And then we have an agreement, and then we can say that we are cooperating on equal and fair terms. I understand that this is the kind of cooperation the President expects from the European Union, and it's hard to be surprised by his stance. So I listen to this calmly.
