- I am convinced that this topic [of bots] was not accidentally introduced into the election campaign at this time, precisely because it is meant to cover up the disgraceful vote by Civic Platform in the European Parliament on ACTA2, meaning internet censorship - stated Patryk Jaki on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench).

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, is convinced that only through multinational cooperation can we ensure peace in this part of the world and for Poland. This statement was made on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

The head of government emphasized that today, more than ever, it is necessary to draw conclusions from history. "The lessons of the past must serve us as a guide to action. We must remember the tragic events of the Second World War and the price that Poland and other European nations had to pay for peace and freedom," he said.

Mateusz Morawiecki stressed that the current geopolitical situation requires constant vigilance and strengthening of cooperation between countries. "We must work together to build a Europe that is strong, united, and able to defend itself against any threats. Poland, as a member of NATO and the European Union, is committed to this goal," he added.

The Prime Minister also pointed out the importance of historical dialogue and reconciliation. "We must not forget the past, but we must also learn from it to build a better future. This requires open dialogue and mutual understanding between nations," he concluded.

With them in mind, the idea named the Warsaw Senior Card is being developed – stated Jakub Stefaniak at a press conference.

As part of the card, the PSL candidate has already proposed, among other things, lunches for 5 zlotys (with city co-financing) and free exercises for seniors in sports clubs. Stefaniak cited research conducted by one of the newspapers. - Warsaw did not rank in the top 10 cities friendly to seniors. Płock was at the bottom of the list. This needs to change – said Stefaniak.

- Today, in circumstances of strange political transfers, we have two left-leaning parties: PO and PiS, and one that is a centrist party, a European Christian democracy. That is PSL. We want to show two things: the strength of non-governmental organizations, which are currently marginalized by the authorities, organizations that are an obstacle for the authorities because they are independent, strong, and closer to society than the PiS government, which is detached from reality. Secondly, that Warsaw – a wealthy city that can afford not to leave anyone behind – will do even more to include everyone” - argued the leader of Inicjatywa Polska, Barbara Nowacka.

„Warsaw for everyone is primarily about the fact that Warsaw should be as close as possible to citizens, to their problems. Warsaw should listen to what citizens have to say about all the most important issues” - added Rafał Trzaskowski - „We are here, we will continue the trend [of cooperation with non-governmental organizations]. These are completely different countries today, but Russia and Germany are very strong, they have enormous capabilities. This cannot be denied to them. We are today, to some extent, separated from Russia by Ukraine, and to a lesser extent by Belarus; we have a short border in the Kaliningrad Oblast. However, with Germany, we have an open border. And I want to say that this is very good. It is very good that we have an open border, that we are together in the EU, together in NATO, that we are allies. But remember that those who believed history had ended were mistaken. History continues to unfold, and no one knows in which direction, what will happen. Therefore, there is one answer to this situation I've spoken about. It is precisely a strong West Pomerania, which in the not-too-distant future will achieve a level of economic and social development at least comparable to Germany. Only then will it not be the case that the course of history will be unfortunate for us, or perhaps even unhappy - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Szczecin.

„We must also treat with respect everything that was created when Poland did not exist here. There is a lot of it in these lands. We want the city hall to finally be truly for everyone, not just for corrupt authorities. There is a difference related to experience. Neither Paweł Rabiej nor Rafał Trzaskowski have spent a minute in local government. They know nothing about it. I have two terms, Piotr Guział almost 20 years – one of the most experienced local government officials. Barbara Nowacka, with all due respect to her, has she ever been verified in Warsaw in elections like Piotr Guział?” - said the ZP candidate for the Mayor of Warsaw, Patryk Jaki.

The upcoming week will see the continuation of the local government election campaign. Monday marks the deadline for submitting candidate lists for councillors to territorial electoral commissions. Patryk Jaki plans his activities, including a major convention, while Rafał Trzaskowski has a meeting scheduled in Mokotów.

President Andrzej Duda will meet with US President Donald Trump. PAD will also be in Bucharest for the Three Seas Initiative Summit. It is not ruled out that a decision on new Supreme Court judges will be made this week.

Other topics for the upcoming week include the decision of the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary regarding the Polish National Council of the Judiciary, the interrogation of Witold Modzelewski by the VAT parliamentary committee, and an informal EU summit.

Local Government Campaign. On Saturday, Patryk Jaki will hold a major programmatic convention. The PiS candidate for the mayor of Warsaw will also organize press conferences on smog on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jaki's plans for this week also include the activities of the Capital City Hall – on Monday, a closed-door meeting, with the possibility of issuing decisions regarding the properties located at ul. Smolna 32, Skolimowska 3, and Odolańska 7; on Thursday – a public hearing under general rules. In turn, the PO candidate for the mayor of Warsaw has a meeting scheduled in Mokotów as part of the "18 Districts - One Warsaw" campaign.

Decision on the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS). On Monday, the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary is expected to decide on the continued membership of the Polish National Council of the Judiciary in this organization. At the end of August, the KRS decided that it would not take steps to withdraw from the ENCJ.

PAD in Bucharest. On Monday at 11:00 AM, Krzysztof Szczerski will hold a press conference related to the President's visit to Bucharest and his participation in the Three Seas Initiative Summit, as well as the Presidential Couple's visit to Washington. The visit to Bucharest will take place on Monday – the agenda includes the official opening of the Business Forum with PAD's participation and participation in the presidential panel "Three Seas Initiative in the Context of International Challenges."

Possible Appointment of Supreme Court Judges. It is possible that this week President Andrzej Duda will make a decision regarding new judges of the Supreme Court. In recent days, media reports have suggested that PAD will make a decision in the coming days.

PAD in the USA. On Tuesday, the Presidential Couple will visit Washington, where President Andrzej Duda will meet with US President Donald Trump. The agenda includes, among other things, a one-on-one conversation, as well as a meeting between the presidents and media representatives. PAD will also visit the US Senate and meet with representatives of the Polish parliamentary group.

Modzelewski's Interrogation. On Tuesday at 10:00 AM, the VAT parliamentary committee will interrogate Witold Modzelewski. This will be the first person to appear before the newly appointed committee.

Poland's Hearing on the Rule of Law. On Tuesday, at a ministerial meeting of the EU, another hearing of Poland will take place as part of the rule of law procedure. The issue of changes in the Polish judiciary will be present throughout September. On Wednesday, during the weekly meeting of commissioners, the European Commission will address the issue of the rule of law in Poland.

Summit on Security and Migration. On Wednesday and Thursday, EU heads of state and government will hold an informal meeting in Salzburg, Austria. The topic of the meeting will be security and migration. The host will be Sebastian Kurz, Chancellor of Austria, which currently holds the presidency of the Council. The meeting will be led by the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk. He will represent the EU along with the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.

- Jacek Wojciechowicz is the best candidate for Mayor of Warsaw - decided local associations on Ursynów, endorsing the candidacy of the former Deputy Mayor of Warsaw. The coalition of associations "Nasz Ursynów" (Our Ursynów) and "Otwarty Ursynów" (Open Ursynów) announced this decision at a press conference on Sunday.

- We are aware that in the current system of Warsaw, the competencies of districts are severely limited, and to implement one's electoral program, one must cooperate with city councilors and the city mayor - said Piotr Skubiszewski, head of "Otwarty Ursynów". - Therefore, the coalition of "Nasz Ursynów" and "Otwarty Ursynów" unanimously supported Jacek Wojciechowicz in the presidential elections - he added.

As Skubiszewski explained, Jacek Wojciechowicz has extensive local government experience; he was the Deputy Mayor of Warsaw for 10 years, previously served as a mayor and deputy mayor, and was also a member of parliament. - He is the best and most substantive candidate for mayor - he explained.

Wojciechowicz enigmatically commented on the decision of the former Ursynów mayor, Piotr Guział, who endorsed Patryk Jaki. - I do not want to judge the private choices of my opponents, but this cooperation before the elections may prove inconvenient for both Mr. Guział and Mr. Jaki - he assessed.
