- I don't remember [how long I've known Michał Tusk]. I've known Michał Tusk much longer than I worked at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. “I would like to ask Minister Patryk Jaki, who oversees the prison service in our country, a few questions. The public has a right to know if the prison service in our country is a supervised service, or if it has been left to its own devices for several months while Patryk Jaki is conducting his election campaign. This is a serious matter. This is not about the campaign. It is about the performance of constitutional duties by the Deputy Minister of Justice, who – as it appears – does not have time for these duties,” said Michał Szczerba from Civic Platform at a press conference.

“We appeal to Minister Jaki to provide the public with full data concerning the double murder, of a person who was released by the prison service on leave, having previously been convicted of murder, within 24 hours. Was a criminal and social risk assessment conducted before this offender was granted leave?” he added.

- Nowoczesna exists so that people can vote for the Civic Coalition with a clear conscience, convinced that someone will ensure they can see that we propose new solutions, a lot of energy, and many ideas. - We are not talking about magnetism, we are talking about a coalition of national interest, to which Barbara Nowacka has now joined. - I think if the Civic Coalition with its partners governs in about half of the regional assemblies, it will be a good result – Lubnauer assessed.

Otherwise, this hatred, this other side of politics, from morning till evening, enduring all of it would make no sense. The meaning is to help other people and, for example, through work on the verification committee, we managed to help hundreds of people. I am very happy about that – stated Patryk Jaki in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News, when asked about Jarosław Kaczyński's words from yesterday.

- I feel strong support from the party and I am very happy about it. But I also feel broader support from the residents of Warsaw on the streets, which is a new phenomenon, because a few years ago one could feel a different atmosphere on the streets – added the PiS candidate for the mayor of Warsaw.

- Well, alright, so how is it, when you ponder this, you work hard, everyone claims you're biting the grass, unlike your competitor, although the competitor says they also work hard, and despite that, commentators don't hide the fact that you have slim chances of winning Warsaw. Why are these chances slim? - Dorota Gawryluk asked on Polsat News. Patryk Jaki replied:

"I agree with those comments. I also keep my feet firmly on the ground. I can go to the National Election Commission's website and read the election results, and the truth is that the KO candidate, i.e., PO and Nowoczesna, is a clear favorite. Because if you look purely at the numbers, you can see that Platforma and Nowoczesna had about 46% in the last elections in Warsaw, and United Right had 29%. And that was the best result in years. They have a very large advantage at the start, but that doesn't mean we can't catch up to them."

- Regarding the "Future" district issue, today, everyone who knows about modern solutions says that the future lies in smart city solutions. If we don't start implementing them seriously today, in a few years, it will turn out that Warsaw won't be able to catch up with cities in the region – said Patryk Jaki in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Wydarzenia i Opinie" on Polsat News.

- This is not a bluff. It's not the local government that will be investing; the local government will create the conditions. I am convinced that private business will want to get involved in such a project. Businesses worldwide are currently looking for areas with so-called living labs, meaning places where cities can be built from the very beginning, based on new technologies. Where new technologies can be created. I am convinced that in Poland, in Warsaw, and around the world, everyone will be knocking down doors and windows to build this district. Just as such projects worldwide are full of investors – Jaki added.

- I think it's very bad if opposition politicians, even at their convention, try to scare Poles using various rhetorical devices. This either indicates some kind of obsession, in which case they need a psychologist's help, or it proves that these politicians are cynically trying to scare Poles and play on these fears during the election campaign - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

Jarosław Kaczyński is an MP as a result of the decision of the residents of the Warsaw constituency. They gave him their support. It was one of the best results in the country, and he is the PiS chairman because delegates at the last electoral congress gave him their support, also very high.
