At 12:00, Patryk Jaki's convention will take place in Warsaw. As we wrote on 300POLITYKA, the United Right's candidate for the mayor of Warsaw will present a project intended to be one of the main pillars of his campaign.

Campaign strategists are unwilling to reveal details, but they imply that the project is meant to be impressive and presented in an innovative way. At 11:00 in Warsaw, the PSL's election convention will be held. Program speeches will begin at 12:00.

At 15:00 in Opole, a PiS election rally will take place with the participation of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Before and after the rally, a PiS-bus is planned for election meetings: at 13:00 in Namysłów, and at 17:45 in Kluczbork.

- Changes in offices, ministries, chancellories, and editorial offices are natural. I treat it as something normal, natural. Krzysztof [Łapiński] has chosen his path. He wants to fulfill himself in politics, he has the right to do so - stated Andrzej Dera on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench), commenting on the change of the presidential spokesperson.

- It's a very difficult role. Personally, I wouldn't want to be a spokesperson. Everyone has their own resilience, how long can one function as a spokesperson - added the presidential minister.

- Do you know the difference between Morawiecki's 'Five' and Schetyna's 'Six-Pack'? Morawiecki's 'Five' is an absolutely realistic program that will be implemented. Even before the elections, all these announcements will materialize in the form of concrete government programs, specific laws, while Schetyna's 'Six-Pack' holds the same value as all of Civic Platform's promises made in previous campaigns – stated Jacek Sasin on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench).

- But the democratic package? With whom? With those who question democracy? If the opposition accepts the democratic rules of the game, if they acknowledge that those who win elections have the right to govern, then of course – stated Jacek Sasin on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Table). He added that "we are not backing down from this promise."

- The President is not getting involved in the local government campaign. He is above the functioning parties. He will certainly encourage Poles to vote - stated Andrzej Dera on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę".

- Barbara Nowacka considered the offer presented by the Civic Coalition to be a good one. You are talking about significant differences between PO and Barbara Nowacka. Of course, there are. We are in different formations. But I will remind you that it was the 'bad' Platforma that introduced in vitro, emergency contraception in Poland. Left-wing formations did not. This is also a matter of the capacity to do something. Nowacka decided that she can achieve more with us - stated Sławomir Neumann on TVN24's "Kawa na ławę" (Coffee on the Bench).

- Warsaw is a unique city, absolutely unique. Our city, which we love. Warsaw is created by its residents, who have exceptional character traits. They are brave, assertive, and not afraid to go against the current. They are entrepreneurial, running businesses without any complexes. They can compete and win against any company in the world - stated Patryk Jaki at the convention. He added:

"We must ask ourselves: is it not the case in our city that it is the residents of Warsaw who create the energy that causes the city to develop, and the local government is far behind? There is a significant discrepancy between the residents of Warsaw and the local government. Shouldn't it be the other way around?"

- I believe in a great Warsaw, great projects, great challenges. Enough of this ordinary, local government that cannot keep up with its residents. It is high time for a great Warsaw of innovative projects – stated Patryk Jaki at the convention.

- We have a program, we showed it first in Kraśnik. So someone is at least 9 months behind us. During these 9 months, those in power failed to deliver anything good for Poland and Poles. These were 9 wasted months - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the convention.

Here are the key proposals presented by the PSL chairman. A warm meal for every student, an e-backpack, free public transport, plots of land for young people, and a flagship project - tax-free pensions for everyone. Green markets in every municipality. Restoration of trade with the East. A program for building local roads. Bus connections to every municipality and village. Culture in the city and the countryside, the "Reymontówka" (referring to a cultural initiative inspired by Nobel laureate Władysław Reymont) in every municipality.

– While some are veering extremely to the right, others, as we learned yesterday, are veering to the left, we are in the center. We are taking the middle road. Not a zigzag path – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the convention.

– Today, the only formation that seriously treats Christian, national, and folk values, seriously being a party of the center, development, and understanding, is the PSL. We invite to us all those who want to choose building and development – he continued. – You can have all of this, 500+ without all this madness, without alienating us from the East and West, without brandishing sabers, without breaking the national community – he stated.

- First, sort yourselves out with the PZPR within PiS, and then deal with the PSL. This sorting out won't be easy, because there's more PZPR in PiS than justice and law, stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the convention. - In recent weeks, Prime Minister Morawiecki has only been concerned with the PSL. Today, I will say this clearly: Prime Minister Morawiecki is a liar. He only tells the truth when he makes a mistake - he added.

- Today we see a magnificent mask of Prime Minister Morawiecki's social sensitivity. I was in the government when Prime Minister Morawiecki was an advisor to Tusk. I did not see his social sensitivity, his pro-social projects, but I did see the rejection of our tax-free pension during those times, in this parliament - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the convention.

- This is Poland, in every single town and village. We will remove PiS from power, win the election, and unite Poles. Let's get to work, to victory! - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the convention.

- Warsaw residents in general, unlike the media, are not asking me about Patryk Jaki, but about proposals for Warsaw. As for the 19th district, it's interesting that this was kept so secret. The 19th district already exists. We were there yesterday. The 19th district is a slogan concerning the Vistula River, because the Vistula is the 19th district, which is developing incredibly, which is very positively received by all Varsovians as a place for spending leisure time, as a place for recreation, for Varsovians to meet, and this slogan was presented many, many months ago, and we absolutely use it too. Yesterday we were on the boulevards, I even sailed on the Vistula because we had the Vistula Festival - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a briefing. He added:

"Regarding solutions for smart cities, I worked on that in the European Parliament, as Minister of Digital Affairs. Thanks to me, among other things, public data was made available, on which very interesting applications for cities are built. Regarding proposals for a digital, modern city, I was talking about that yesterday. It's interesting what you say, that someone is presenting new or new proposals that we have been talking about for many months. Regarding the issue of the 19th district, all Varsovians know exactly what it means. Regarding all these digital solutions, please look at my program. Many such proposals have already appeared."

- We have 21 difficult months ahead. A fight to ensure the good change continues, transforms Poland, and gives Poland a great opportunity, which is already being verified in the best sense of the word - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the convention in Opole. - PiS victories will serve this leveling, this equality. It's not just equality in this moment, but also equality of opportunity for the younger generation, for those who are children today - he said.

- I will recall an example that I have already referred to. It concerns the CEO of Orlen, Daniel Obajtek. When he was the mayor of Pcim, he personally visited all those most affected every week, talked to them, supported them, and organized material assistance. Today, our program includes support for seniors and children. There are many initiatives aimed at ensuring a minimum level of life comfort - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a convention in Opole.

- We must put an end to all these cliques, these inner circles, and in some parts of Poland, they even speak of such circles on a provincial scale. I will not name these provinces, I do not wish to offend anyone, but I fear that there is a lot of truth in what people are saying - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a convention in Opole. - It cannot be the case in Poland that there are the privileged, there are so-called self-appointed elites, and there are ordinary people without any opportunities - he added.

- Our opponents will probably attack me for what I've just said, they are deeply embedded in these various networks and cliques. And they will often defend them directly. They often say that there should be elites who are above the law - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a convention in Opole.

- These are empty promises. PO - Empty Promises - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a convention in Opole.

- We are rebuilding Poland's assets, Poland, including in Opole region. This is the honest Poland we want. This is the Poland we will fight for. We need such a just Poland. A Poland that is solidary, a proud Poland, and we will work for such a Poland and we will win for such a Poland. And we will win - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a convention in Opole.

As 300POLITYKA learns, tomorrow at 6:20 AM, Rafał Trzaskowski and Barbara Nowacka will begin a joint campaign. The initiative kicks off at the Warsaw "patelnia" (a colloquial term for a specific busy public space) near the Centrum metro station. A joint press conference is scheduled for 6:40 AM. According to campaign staff, further actions are planned for the coming days.

• I declared, speaking yesterday in Wrocław, among other places, that we are ready to cooperate in local government with anyone, that we reject the kind of selection that the Civic Platform once imposed, that it's permissible with some, but not with others, i.e., not with PiS. Thus, if the German minority wanted to cooperate with us, for example in the local government of the Opole Voivodeship, we would certainly not reject it. Of course, there are conditions - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on TVP Opole.

- He has chances [Patryk Jaki], he works fantastically, and I will boast to you. When I first saw him at a youth meeting, I immediately saw, after a minute, that he is a man who will mean a lot in Polish politics, and this has been confirmed. Here you can see talent, strength, energy, self-confidence, composure - stated Jarosław Kaczyński on TVP Opole. As he stated, Jaki has chances, although it is very difficult.

The coming days in politics will primarily feature the first Sejm session after the summer break, the continuation of the local government election campaign, and the President's decision regarding "old" Supreme Court judges. The government will address the minimum wage issue, and the Amber Gold investigative committee will question Tomasz Arabski.

Local Government Campaign. The upcoming week marks another week of the local government election campaign. The Civic Coalition is collecting signatures after its recent convention; Rafał Trzaskowski will appear with Barbara Nowacka on Monday morning, and the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) will also begin presenting its first of 7 program pillars on Monday. At 12:30 PM in Łódź, they will present the first of 7 thematic billboards and specific proposals related to the theme "On the Child's Side, On the Parent's Side." Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Tomasz Trela, and the leaders of the electoral lists for the Regional Assembly will participate in the press conference.

Arabski's Testimony. On Monday at 12:00 PM, the Sejm investigative committee on Amber Gold will question the former head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Tomasz Arabski. On Tuesday, MPs will question Małgorzata Kin-Kaczmarek, former director of the Amber Gold Products Department, and a former head of a division within the Tax Control Department of the Ministry of Finance.

PAD's Decision on Supreme Court Judges. President Andrzej Duda is expected to decide by Tuesday at the latest which judges from the old composition will remain in the Supreme Court. This information was conveyed by Andrzej Dera. "The first [procedure] concerns [Supreme Court] judges who have made a statement; the deadline expires next Tuesday. The decision in this matter will be made at the beginning of next week," stated the presidential minister on PR3. This refers to judges who have submitted a declaration of their willingness to continue serving in the Supreme Court.

Government on Minimum Wage. "At the session on September 11th, which will be the final deadline, the Council of Ministers will decide the final amount of the minimum wage and hourly rate. We are aware of the proposals from trade unions, employers, and our earlier proposal, which was PLN 2220," said Elżbieta Rafalska in a conversation with PAP.

VAT Investigative Committee. On Wednesday at 10:30 AM, MPs of the VAT investigative committee will convene for a closed-door session. The agenda includes consideration of evidential motions and current matters.

Sejm After Recess. On Wednesday at 10:00 AM, the Sejm session, the first after the long summer break, is scheduled to begin – at least according to the plan – and will last for three days. The agenda includes, among other things, a report on the activities of the Supreme Audit Office in 2017, as well as the appointment of the Children's Ombudsman.

PAD at the Arraiolos Group Summit. On Thursday, President Andrzej Duda and his wife will participate in the Arraiolos Group Summit of Heads of State in Latvia. Also this week, PAD will meet with residents of Leżajsk on Tuesday and will attend the ceremonial celebrations of the 135th anniversary of King Jan III Sobieski III High School/II General Lyceum in Krakow. On Wednesday, he will participate in the ceremonial opening of the Order of the White Eagle Hall in the Presidential Palace.

Poland's Rating Update. On Friday, Moody's – one of the three major rating agencies – will review Poland's rating. The agency did not update Poland's rating in March.
