Mastalerek:

PM Morawiecki follows the path to victory, while the opposition with Wałęsa treads the path of PiS during its election defeats

The former PiS spokesperson comments on the current political situation and the words of Prime Minister Morawiecki, who, during his speech on the anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, appealed: - Therefore, on this day [November 11th], a great day for our Polish nation, for the entire Republic, let us be together, let us march together, in one independence march.

Mazurek:

We are convinced that Kaczyński will be the face of our campaign. He must be the leader of both PiS and the United Right.

- Great and getting better [regarding President Kaczyński's health]. Indeed, looking back at the newspapers, it wasn't that long ago that one could see a photo of the president smiling while on vacation, but he is already in Warsaw and I hope he will be in great shape tomorrow. However, I emphasize again: we, as politicians of the Law and Justice party, have been in constant contact with the president. The fact that he wasn't physically among us is solely related to a knee ailment - stated Beata Mazurek in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1. She added:

"He is getting better and better, and I hope he will be in good shape tomorrow, but most importantly, we are convinced that he will be the face of our campaign. He must be the leader of both Law and Justice and the United Right. He will participate in the election campaign as much as his time and duties allow. It cannot be otherwise. We feel more confident and secure when he is with us. Besides, I know that the president enjoys meetings with voters, enjoys meeting Poles. I know that he is received very well. I know that after official appearances, a lot of people always approach him to chat. So I am convinced that he will certainly get involved in this campaign."

Mazurek:

After the Convention, We're Heading Out to Meet People Across Poland
After the convention, we're heading out to meet people across Poland. Our politicians will be presenting programs in individual voivodeships, we will be holding conventions. And I trust that this will convince Poles to support us and to make choices in local government elections that will lead us to victory. We will convince them to this, just as we developed an electoral program that brought us victory in the parliament and we are implementing that program. Similarly, in local governments, we will also be determined to put our promises into practice, so that Poles live better lives and are satisfied with these elections – stated Beata Mazurek in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

Schetyna:

I believe Trzaskowski will be a good mayor of Warsaw
I believe that Rafał Trzaskowski, who is here with us, who is running in these elections, who is a representative of Civic Platform, Nowoczesna, and Civic Coalition, will be a good president [of Warsaw]. He will take on the great challenge of a proud city, and all of us, the residents of Warsaw, all Poles, will be happy and proud of such a president - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a briefing in Warsaw.

Schetyna Responds to PM's Appeal
- We are here in Warsaw, not in Gdańsk, not at Westerplatte as always, but I saw the ceremonies at Westerplatte this morning, I saw separate laying of flowers and wreaths. So if someone lays flowers separately and pushes away the government and the ruling majority from the rest of the citizens, from the opposition, from local governments, then it is difficult to believe in their declaration of openness and community, of shared celebration - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a briefing in Warsaw. - Regarding November 11th, first we will await decisions that will not allow the continuation of those nationalist, antisemitic, and racist excesses that took place especially last year, but also in previous years. I am waiting for such a declaration from the Prime Minister, and we will respond to those decisions - added the Civic Platform leader.

Three Warsaw City Councilors Leave Civic Platform, Pledge Support to Wojciechowicz

Rafał Trzaskowski’s campaign is losing its chance to convince and mobilize democratic voters. This campaign, and the broader activities of the Civic Platform’s leadership nationwide, are the best guarantee that PiS will rule for the coming years. It was not for nothing that Jarosław Kaczyński said in a recent interview that Grzegorz Schetyna has nothing to fear. Perhaps Schetyna doesn't need to fear Kaczyński, but many Poles do fear him – Poles who do not want to wait for PiS to completely destroy Polish democracy. That is why we are leaving PO, whose successes in Warsaw we helped to create. We are leaving because the Civic Platform needs a shock today. Civic Platform, shake off your lethargy instead of leading us to a third consecutive election defeat” - write the PO councilors in a statement.

The letter was signed by: Lech Jaworski, Izabela Chmielewska, and Aleksandra Sheybal-Rostek. The signatories claim they have not yet made a decision regarding their political future, but they declare their support for Jacek Wojciechowicz in the mayoral election for the capital:

A man best prepared to govern the capital, whom we came to know well when, as deputy mayor of our city, he created its successes. Unfortunately, he is also missing from the Civic Platform today. Things are not going well in the Civic Platform in Poland, and things are not going well in the Civic Platform in Warsaw. That is why we are leaving, and we will do everything to ensure that the inept, unprofessional, and arrogant campaign conducted by the Civic Platform does not lead to a PiS victory

Patryk Jaki on the Departure of Three PO Councillors: If Trzaskowski Can't Handle His Own Image and Election Campaign, How Will He Manage the City?

I am not surprised by this decision. The reason these councillors are leaving Platforma is that Rafał Trzaskowski is not coping with the election campaign. If he can't handle his own image and can't cope with running an election campaign, how will he manage the city? I think the Civic Platform councillors, whom I don't even know, have also noticed this, but as it turns out, they know Platforma and Rafał Trzaskowski better” - commented Deputy Minister Patryk Jaki on the departure of three Warsaw councillors from PO.

Trzaskowski Announces Free Nurseries for All Warsaw Residents, Construction of 2 New Ones in Each District, and 25 Kindergartens

“One of the most important priorities of the 'We Support Families' program is the issue of education. I spoke about this six months ago, I talked about free nurseries, and in practically every district, in every conversation with Warsaw residents, this topic comes up. My proposal for free nurseries has probably garnered the most support, the most positive voices, which is why it is a pillar of this proposal aimed at supporting families. Free nurseries for every Warsaw resident. If there are no places in public nurseries today, we will pay for a place in a private nursery until the infrastructure is large enough to accommodate all Warsaw children. We will build 25 kindergartens and build 2 nurseries in each district to accelerate this process of strengthening public infrastructure in Warsaw. We will ensure that children can be left in kindergartens and nurseries until 6 PM without any additional fees,” said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for the mayor of Warsaw, at a press conference.

Trzaskowski:

Yesterday Councilors Were Seeking Spots on Civic Platform Lists. Today, Rejected, They Criticize My Campaign

"It's a shame that [councilors] said something completely different just yesterday. Just yesterday, three councilors were seeking a place on the Civic Platform lists, and today, when they didn't find themselves on those lists, they immediately changed their minds and are criticizing my campaign. That's quite strange. It's a sign of opportunism, and we are currently preparing new lists where we don't want people who think about politics only in this way, but who want to jointly accomplish tasks, " said Rafał Trzaskowski from the Civic Platform.
