Kaczyński to Inaugurate Convention, PM Morawiecki to Speak. Another Interesting Module Planned

- We have a convention coming up on September 2nd. There will be a lot about local government there too, many interesting proposals concerning this local government dimension - stated Tomasz Poręba at a press conference.

- This will be a large, inaugural convention for PiS's local government elections. President Jarosław Kaczyński will inaugurate it with his speech. Prime Minister Morawiecki will also speak, but there will be another, interesting module at this convention. I think it will arouse great interest, but of course, I absolutely cannot talk about it - added the head of the PiS campaign staff.

Poręba Summarizes PiS’s Program Marathon:

We Want to Keep Our Word at the Local Government Level.

- We kept our word in government in 2015, and we also want to keep our word at the local government level when it comes to these investments. These are already planned investments, for which funds are largely reserved, and now we will be implementing them successively. They will be implemented and realized much faster if, of course, PiS governs in a given voivodeship. Because what we care about very much is harmonious cooperation at the government-local government level, not a fight or emotions, or mutual contesting of various ideas when the opposition governs in a particular region – stated Tomasz Poręba at a press conference.

The 'Total Opposition' Rules 15 out of 16 Regional Assemblies. In Reality, We're Running as an Opposition Party in These Elections

- We are aware that in reality, these elections are PiS versus the rest of the world, because we are running in these elections precisely against the 'total opposition,' which governs in 15 out of 16 regional assemblies. In fact, we are running from the position of an opposition party in the regions, as we do not govern in 15 out of 16 - stated Tomasz Poręba at a press conference. He emphasized that victory must be one that results in real power.

No Plaque Unveiling in Gdańsk to Commemorate the Presence of the Kaczyński Brothers in Hall No. 23 in 1988

On August 31st, a plaque intended to commemorate the "stay" of President Lech Kaczyński and Jarosław Kaczyński in Hall No. 23 during the 1988 strike will not be unveiled in Gdańsk.

Earlier, the spokesperson for the Law and Justice party, Deputy Marshal Beata Mazurek, informed on Twitter that the plaque was not an initiative of the party and that Jarosław Kaczyński would not have granted permission for such an installation.

Śpiewak and the Wygra Warszawa Coalition Propose the Warsaw LGBT+ Charter

The Wygra Warszawa coalition, as part of the Warsaw LGBT+ Charter, proposes, among other things, the creation of a municipal emergency hostel for LGBT+ individuals, additional sex education classes in schools, a community ombudsman, and monitoring of hate crimes.

The program presented by Śpiewak met with criticism from, among others, Sebastian Kaleta, who questioned whether the establishment of the aforementioned hostel would not discriminate against heterosexual individuals.

Filling the Gaps in High-Speed Internet Access

- Today, high-speed internet is sometimes more important than hot water from the tap. Incidentally, in the times of our predecessors, even hot water was often lacking from the tap, but in the 21st century, high-speed internet is the foundation for investment, development, and education. That is why I am very pleased that here we are filling 27,000 gaps in high-speed internet access for households, and this high-speed internet will be available for hundreds of schools - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Koszalin.

Prime Minister Morawiecki Thanks Szefernaker for Aid in Koszalin Station Renovation

Thanks to the foresight of Minister Szefernaker, and the governor, we have already secured funds for the renovation of the railway station [in Koszalin]. Over 10 million zlotys, a beautiful renovation. It will be an architectural gem after the renovation in the next few years. I am very happy and thank you that the minister has ensured that this station in Koszalin will be excellently renovated” - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Koszalin.

It's Crucial for Us That Poland Develops Evenly

- It's crucial for us that Poland develops evenly. This development, formerly called polarizational-diffusive in the times of Civic Platform and PSL, where something could trickle down from the elite's table to smaller towns, is a typical approach in the Third Polish Republic. Smaller towns, like Białogard, envied Koszalin, Koszalin envied Szczecin, Szczecin envied Poznań, and Poznań looked to Warsaw. Thus, these smaller centers always felt a bit disadvantaged. We want to reverse this logic. It is extremely important for us that investments go precisely to these various smaller centers, that infrastructure, connecting these towns by roads, expressways, but also local roads, become a fundamental element of development for those areas, those regions - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Koszalin.

We Will Build S11, S3, S10, S6 Roads

- I can unequivocally announce today that we will build the S11 road from Koszalin to Bobolice, heading south, 45 km, and further south. An extremely important road, as it will eventually connect to Poznań and further south to Upper Silesia. An extremely important road that will connect this part of Poland longitudinally with highly developed areas, and thus we will also create a platform for better economic development. But this is just the first of four expressways I wanted to talk about today - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Koszalin. The head of the Polish government also announced the construction of S3, S10, and S6.

- When we inherited the program for building expressways and motorways, some roads were drawn with a marker on a map, but it was a bit of a swindle, a sham, and untrue that financing was secured. This could have been easily verified - added the PM. - We took money from VAT mafias; it's easy to see this on all charts. They are afraid of these charts, afraid to show these bars in their various presentations, but it's all very visible. We took from large international corporations, we taxed them, this is very clearly visible in the case of corporate profit tax - he said.

Today, the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) is one of the most transparent institutions

- It's a very interesting case of how one can confuse reality and believe their own narrative; I'm speaking here about the opposition and some media. One only needs to look at how the KRS functioned and how Supreme Court judges were selected 2-3 years ago. I know this perfectly well, as I spoke with professors, including those from Warsaw universities, about what that recruitment process entailed. It's not appropriate to say, but it even encourages exploring this topic, delving deeply into how it was a state of lawyers rather than a state of law, lawyers who agreed amongst themselves on who would become a Supreme Court judge and how the KRS functioned then - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Koszalin. He added:

"Well, today the KRS is one of the most transparent bodies, one of the most transparent institutions. Its deliberations, questions, and candidate interviews are not only public. They are accessible to anyone who would like to observe what kind of questions are asked, what the candidates' biographies are. What's more, please check, I also encourage the respected station that asked the question, how many candidates there were previously for the Supreme Court. Today, despite, unfortunately, a certain attempt to incite ostracism, a certain witch hunt against those who apply, which is in itself a dishonorable act, but such phenomena unfortunately occurred, today there are about 5 candidates for one position. This shows that we are breaking through those glass ceilings. That for you, young lawyers, dear lower court judges, this reform is also for you, to unleash these promotion opportunities, to be able to genuinely advance to higher levels in the judiciary, in the court system. I am very happy that this reform demonstrates, makes evident, the higher transparency and objectivity, the independence that we want to achieve and are achieving in the judiciary, through what we have proposed to the citizens, and I hope we will bring it to a successful conclusion."

The Middle Pomeranian Voivodeship Issue Remains Active. We Are Intensifying Public Consultations, Including in Districts Surrounding Koszalin

The issue of the Middle Pomeranian Voivodeship remains active. We remember very well what the residents of Koszalin, in particular, wish for. We are conducting, and intensifying, public consultations, including in the districts surrounding Koszalin. We absolutely want to base our final decisions primarily on the opinion of the residents, on the basis of widely conducted consultations, in which – as I know – Minister Szefernaker is involved. This topic is undoubtedly very important to us as well, and we are striving to prove this through our actions” – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Koszalin.

Szefernaker in Koszalin: The Best Place to Show How the Law and Justice Government Has Shattered the Glass Ceiling Over the Last Three Years
- I would like to briefly summarize these three years, here in Central Pomerania, in Koszalin. This is the best place to show how over these last three years, the Law and Justice government, the Prime Minister's government, has been shattering the glass ceiling created over the years. This glass ceiling consisted of a lot of talk about investments, many investments were promised, but they were simply not realized. Such a glass ceiling here was the digital revolution. How can you start a digital revolution if there is no broadband internet? I am glad that today, in the company of the Prime Minister, we have the opportunity in Koszalin to sign an agreement that is a breakthrough of the glass ceiling that has been forming here for years. An example of such a glass ceiling was also the rescue and fire-fighting unit in Koszalin. I would like to remind you that this issue has been appearing since 2011. Promises were made all the time. Not everyone knows this, it's worth saying, because so-called fake news appears in the public space, and it's worth knowing that a few days ago, a tender was announced for the first stage of building a modern rescue and fire-fighting unit of the State Fire Service, right here in Koszalin – said Paweł Szefernaker at a press conference.

Brudziński and Błaszczak Launched the Largest Modernization Program for Uniformed Services in Over Twenty Years

- Minister Brudziński and his predecessor, Minister Błaszczak, have initiated the largest modernization program for uniformed services in over twenty years. This program is fundamentally intended to transform both the service and the police officer from a technical standpoint, as well as to enhance the service financially. This is a program designed to span several years. It is impossible to make up for past deficiencies, shortcomings, and errors within one or two years, but these statistical data, as well as the fact that we are demonstrating that actions follow words, these data and actions show that the outlook for this service, the police, is positive, the best possible - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Białogard, during the ceremony of laying the cornerstone for the construction of the District Police Headquarters.

In the Last 30 Years, Poland Has Never Had as Much Freedom as It Does Now

- I want to say very clearly that I genuinely and deeply believe that in the last 30 years, Poland has never had as much freedom as it does now. Because there has never been as much freedom for Polish families from extreme poverty, neglect by the state, and heartless governments. This is precisely the amount of freedom for all these people. They did not have this much freedom before – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Białogard.

Every Vote Matters to Us So We Can Continue to Fix Poland

- We are now fiercely attacked from all sides, do you think why? Precisely because we have bravely disrupted those interests. Money taken from mafias, from those large corporations that did not pay taxes in Poland, today we have given to the people. This is the policy we want to continue in government and local government. In the nearest future, in the nearest elections, we want to fight for this trust of our citizens, of Poles. We want to fight, to ask them, because every vote matters to us so we can continue to fix Poland - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Białogard.

Polish PM on Road Funding: 'Unprecedented, Huge Investments Ahead'
We will be investing as much in local roads as Civic Platform and PSL committed over eight years. Compare it yourselves. Based on numbers. They, over eight years, five billion with a bit extra. We, within the next year, will also commit a total of about five billion to the construction and renovation of local roads, including sidewalks, to increase the safety of people, children going to school. These will be unprecedented, huge investments, especially for districts like Białogardzki – said Mateusz Morawiecki in Białogard.

Our Competitors Openly State They Want to Abolish the CBA. So, They Don't Want Successes in Fighting VAT Cartels and Tax Evaders?
- Our political competitors say they will dismantle all our achievements. They will dismantle, they say it openly, the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA). So, does that mean they don't want successes in the fight against VAT cartels, against tax evaders? Because this tightening [of tax collection], which we have achieved, will be around PLN 40 billion this year, from VAT, PIT, and CIT – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Białogard.

Victory in Regional Assemblies is Key

- Victory in the regional assemblies is key. The assemblies are a very important part of conducting business, social activities; after all, many regional assemblies also own hospitals. I know that yours in Białogard, specifically, was pushed into private hands. We must convince the residents with all our might, fight for their trust, so that we can reclaim the assemblies in as many voivodeships as possible. They say today that they do not exercise power. How He Presents Himself to Voters in a Biopic - NEWS 300POLITYKI:

Public Authority Exists to Help Even One Person.

- Warsaw is currently ruled by privatization mafias and developers. The only chance to change this is you. Let's stand together in the fight for an honest Warsaw - says Patryk Jaki in a biographical film that 300POLITYKA is publishing first.

Jaki's campaign staff, who shared the video with us, told 300POLITYKA that they deliberately chose to publish a longer, nearly two-minute biographical film, rather than a few dozen-second spot, as the first piece in the official campaign. They want "Varsovians to learn more about the candidate's experience to date."

https://youtu.be/9FYUb4A_038

"I will be determined to help people, even if it concerns one person treated so disdainfully. Public authority exists to help even one person" - the film features a statement by Jaki from one of the verification commission meetings.

The film recalled the most important achievements of the United Right candidate for the Mayor of Warsaw - mainly from his work in the Ministry of Justice. These include the "Work for Prisoners" project, the introduction of a registry of pedophiles, greater protection for animals, a law prohibiting the removal of children due to poverty, and the Museum of the Cursed Soldiers.

"He successfully manages one of the most important government budgets, increasing the revenues of subordinate state institutions by 60%" - says the narrator.

The film emphasized Jaki's actions regarding the privatization scandal. "He stood up to the ruthless privatization mafia that was robbing Warsaw and murdering people. Thanks to him, assets worth PLN 700 million are returning to the city, people are regaining faith in the state, and those responsible for the harm are ending up in custody" - says the narrator. The film will also be available on Patryk Jaki's YouTube channel.

Gowin's Wish for Opposition Politicians:

So They Learn to Read Comprehensively.

- The controversies surrounding this statement [about the CJEU ruling], stirred up by opposition politicians, prompt me to make such a wish to the opposition politicians, that they start reading, learn to read comprehensively - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News. As he further explained, Supreme Court judges, without proper authorization, attempted to suspend parts of the law, and there is nothing of the sort in the Constitution.

19:45

Gowin on Polexit: Should Germany Also Leave the EU If It's in Dispute with the CJEU?

- They [opposition politicians] say that my words imply that there will be a Polexit. I ask: should Germany also leave the EU if it is in dispute with the [EU] Court of Justice? Should France, Italy, and other countries I mentioned do the same? - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

19:48

Gowin on Vote of No Confidence: "I am very pleased such a motion will be tabled, because this dispute is about the clash of two models of European integration."

- I am very pleased such a motion will be tabled [by the opposition for a vote of no confidence], because this dispute is about the clash of two models of European integration. We believe that the EU should be a Europe of fatherlands, meaning it should be a platform for the cooperation of sovereign states. The opposition, on the other hand, aligns with a current prevalent in Western Europe, but most often marginal in Poland, which aims to replace nation-states and sovereignty with a single superstate - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on Polsat News.

Grabiec on KRS Judge Selection: "This is outright criminal activity"

- The fact that politicians choose the composition of the council intended to protect the independence of the judiciary. The fact that the names of the recommenders of those who nominated candidates were kept secret is something unimaginable. Certainly, we have been saying this from the beginning, it is a violation of the law. Citizens have the right to know who is nominating whom. Secondly, the fact that MPs could not know, MPs who also have access to classified documents, MPs were forced to vote on candidacies about which they did not know if they were legally nominated because they could not verify it. This is outright criminal activity. I think that at some point, conclusions will have to be drawn from this and it will be investigated whether Marshal Kuchciński, by bringing about this vote, without access to the documents related to it, against the will of the MPs, did not exceed his authority, did not hinder the execution of the MP's mandate - said Jan Grabiec in a conversation with Piotr Marciniak in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.
