- Certainly, on European issues: Poland and Germany are important EU countries, member states. The cooperation between our companies is proceeding very well. More and more Polish companies are choosing to do business in Germany, and they are a very good partner for German entrepreneurs. Germany is not only our number one partner, but we are becoming an increasingly important partner for Germany. I don't know if you, Mr. Editor, are aware that Poland and the Czech Republic together are a more important partner for Germany than China, for example. And Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary together are a more important partner than France. This means we are on the right track not only to increase our mutual competitiveness but also to forge this cooperation at a higher level. Of course, if there are any difficult topics, neither I nor the Chancellor will avoid them, but we will also try to find common ground and at the same time develop solutions for those topics where we haven't yet found a common denominator - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with Krzysztof Berenda on RMF FM, when asked about his February meeting with Chancellor Merkel.
