According to my information, four offers have been received. The first was submitted by the richest Pole, billionaire Michał Sołowow, a magnate in the interior design, as well as chemical and energy industries. The second – by a consortium of over a dozen Polish investors, fronted by Wirtualna Polska. The third – by Pier Silvio Berlusconi and his media concern MFE-MediaForEurope. Berlusconi invests in television and radio across Europe, including Germany. The fourth bidder is the Greek media concern Antenna Group (television, radio, digital, educational, and telecommunications services), owned by Theodore M. Kyriakou.”

— INCREASING NUMBERS OF FOREIGNERS WORKING ILLEGALLY IN POLAND – GAZETA PRAWNA: “Last year, for the umpteenth time, an increase in the number of illegally employed foreigners was recorded. The lack of documents legalizing work is becoming an increasing problem, influenced by burdensome and lengthy procedures and complex legal requirements. This is according to statistics from the Chief Labour Inspectorate regarding last year, made available to Gazeta Prawna (see infographic). Inspections conducted by the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) in 2024 showed that nearly 7.2 thousand immigrants worked illegally, which is almost 20 percent of the foreigners covered by the inspection. Meanwhile, in 2023, this percentage was 17 percent, and in 2022, it was 12.8 percent.”
