Two and a half years ago, Poles were able to rise above political divisions to help hundreds of thousands of refugees from Ukraine who were fleeing Putin's bombs. 27 years ago, a terrible flood united the residents of Wrocław in a beautiful effort to defend their city against the great wave. This is what we need today, not deepening divisions."
