"Yes, we support it, but we think it's not enough, because it might create some systemic loophole, through which, among others, people who have been slyly exploiting the system recently [...] will continue to do so" – said Anna Maria Żukowska in an interview with Mariusz Piekarski on the TVP Info program "Gość poranka" (Morning Guest), when asked if The Left supports all the solutions concerning doctors' salaries and working hours proposed by the Minister of Health.

"To achieve this, it's also necessary to allocate a pool of funds, marked money within hospital financing, which will be solely for services and cannot be transferred to other purposes, including, for example, salaries" – she continued.

"This is a step in the right direction, I am glad it has been taken, and I hope it will be implemented. However, there is a year until the elections, so I fear that time is a bit tight, we are significantly behind schedule. From the beginning of our term, we have said that the reform of healthcare should have been started with, and it's still a matter of healthcare financing and the hospital network system" – she added.
